The hat of "Sony Mascot" has been worn by many, many different critters and folk since the days of Crash Bandicoot and, uh, <em>Croc.</em> In fact, Sony's stable of lovable household names is so fully stocked that they've decided to pit their creations against one another to determine <em>who lives and who dies</em>.<br />
<br />
Okay so, that last part might be a little hyperbolic, but the rumor mill is operating at full capacity over <em>Title Fight</em>, a Super Smash Bros.-ish cross-franchise brawler reportedly in development at <a href="http://www.superbotentertainment.com/company.html">SuperBot Entertainment</a>, according to <a href="http://paulgalenetwork.com/home/2011/11/27/superbot-entertainment-is-developing-title-fight-first-screens-james-bond-update-and-more-info-within/">The Paul Gale Network</a>. If rumors are to be believed, the game will feature a cast of Sony-console specific characters like Nathan Drake, Sweet Tooth, Sly Cooper, that guy from Killzone and Fat Princess. Fights will take place in various Sony related locations such as Sandover Village or a golf course from <em>Hot Shots Golf</em>.<br />
<br />
The gallery of images below, which shows Sweet Tooth, a blank female form that may or may not be <em>Heavenly Sword</em>'s Nariko and a debug screen that mentions Kratos, were tweeted (and subsequently deleted) by SuperBot Entertainment's senior level designer Chris Molina. Apparently, this hullabaloo is also what that <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/26/super-secret-public-playstation-commercial-teases-something/">franchise-rich teaser trailer from September</a> was all about, which would also indicate the inclusion of Parappa the Rapper, as well as a representative from FOXHOUND.<br />
<br />
If all this pans out, <em>Title Fight</em> will be the latest in a long, proud history of SCEA-published fighting games like <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_Arena_Toshinden"><em>Battle Arena Toshinden</em></a> and <em><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cardinal_Syn">Cardinal Syn</a></em>. We'll keep our ear to the ground for more as this story develops.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/title-fight-leaked-production-photos/">Title Fight (Tentative, Leaked)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/title-fight-leaked-production-photos/#4640218"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/11/sweettooth_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/title-fight-leaked-production-photos/#4640217"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/11/potentialnariko_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/title-fight-leaked-production-photos/#4640216"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/11/debugmenu_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/28/rumor-sonys-got-a-smash-bros-esque-fighter-in-the-works-featur/">Rumor: Sony working on a Smash Bros-esque fighter featuring Sony all-stars</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 28 Nov 2011 18:40:00 EST. Today's update to the European PlayStation Store seems to be stuck in the past. There's a <em>Fat Princess</em> DLC bundle, the digital releases of <em>Modnation Racers</em> and <em>Dragon Age: Origins</em>, and the fifth installment of the <em>Back to the Future</em> adventure game series. We haven't played it yet, but based on the history of the franchise, there's probably a pretty good chance of getting <em>literally</em> stuck in the past.<br />

Carbon Games is the new Seattle-based, independent development house built by members of Titan Studios, creators of <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/fat-princess">Fat Princess</a></em>. Titan Studios, which was a subsidiary of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/epic-games-china">Epic Games China</a>, was "gracefully" shuttered a month ago.<br />
<br />
"Everyone that is starting Carbon is from Titan, but it's only about half of what was left. We are just bringing over the core people at this time. We had some QA, which were really great people, but we can't add people just yet," Carbon Games founder James Green told Joystiq. "We had actually been winding down Titan gracefully for a while. The longterm plan has always been for Epic Games China to exist on their own. We were just in a support/advisory role, which is why we never followed up <em>Fat Princess</em> with anything."<br />
<br />
Green tells Joystiq that Carbon is in a position where they are self-funded and can experiment. The focus is on smaller, accessible core titles. The initial games will be on PC so the Carbon team can "iterate and get player feedback faster and actually control the patching process." Their first project will not be another <em>Fat Princess</em> -- Green does say they'd like to return to that style in time, but the scope of such a title is bigger than what Carbon is currently working on.<br />
<br />
The studio plans to begin publicly testing its first project later this year. Folks interested in helping with the process should keep an eye on the <a href="http://carbongames.com/">company's website</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/07/05/carbon-games-formed-by-fat-princess-devs/">Carbon Games formed by Fat Princess devs</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 05 Jul 2011 15:50:00 EST. Titan Studios didn't wait too long after the launch of its multiplayer PSN title, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em></a>, before it started teasing new archetypes which would appear in the game's first major DLC release. Now that said content has <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/26/fat-princess-getting-plumper-with-fat-roles-dlc-on-june-29/"><em>finally</em> launched</a>, it seems Atomic Operations is wasting no time in teasing the next expansion for the game: One which might just involve waves of shambling undead.<br />
<br />
The game's catalog of in-game tips recently had a message added which reads, "I think Zombies are coming soon, run!" Helpful advice, indeed. A few fans also noticed that the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/26/fat-princess-getting-plumper-with-fat-roles-dlc-on-june-29/">debut trailer</a> for the recently launched Fat Roles DLC features pumpkins in lieu of cakes in a few clips. We could be in for a whole slew of Halloween-flavored <em>Fat Princess</em> classes -- either that, or the titular overweight monarch is switching over to a more vegan-friendly diet.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/05/fat-princess-in-game-tips-teasing-zombie-dlc/">Fat Princess in-game tips teasing Zombie DLC</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 05 Jul 2010 15:30:00 EST. If you thought <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em></a> couldn't pack on any more pounds, think again, because <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/26/fat-princess-getting-plumper-with-fat-roles-dlc-on-june-29/">the promised "Fat Roles " DLC</a> is now available for download on the Euro PSN. On top of that, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/23/sega-marks-down-downloadable-games-for-sonics-birthday/">the celebration of Sonic's 19th birthday</a> continues and -- honestly, guys, there's <em>so much</em> this week, it'd probably be best if you just cruised past the break and saw the full list for yourself. <br />

Next Tuesday, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em>'</a> roster of playable classes will be fattened considerably when the Ninja, Pirate and Giant archetypes (which have been frequently teased over the past year) hit the PSN as part of the <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2010/06/25/fatter-princess-fat-roles-dlc-and-fourplay-party-feature-with-patch-1-06/">"Fat Roles" pack</a>. The expansion, which will cost $4.99, includes the three classes and four new maps, all of which are previewed in the trailer posted after the jump.<br />
<br />
If you're strapped for cash, the game is also getting a free update adding four-player couch multiplayer to the game, which should lead to some noisy banter to concern your neighbors. "Put down the girl, stuff that cake in her mouth, and then let's kill this priest!"<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/26/fat-princess-getting-plumper-with-fat-roles-dlc-on-june-29/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Fat Princess getting plumper with Fat Roles DLC on June 29</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/26/fat-princess-getting-plumper-with-fat-roles-dlc-on-june-29/">Fat Princess getting plumper with Fat Roles DLC on June 29</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 26 Jun 2010 10:30:00 EST. It's been a long time coming, but <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em></a> is finally getting the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/19/fat-princess-ninjas-wont-be-lonesome-anymore/">long overdue</a> pirates and ninjas DLC. In addition to the premium "Fat Roles" content, the online-only PSN game will be patched to version 1.06, which adds a rather significant new feature: four-player same-screen co-op.<br />
<br />
Being able to bring three local friends into an online match does a lot to enhance the overall experience. There's the obvious benefit of being able to chat and coordinate strategy in person, but there's also the added bonus of enhanced spawns: so long as one member of the party remains alive, any fallen teammates can revive quickly at a captured tower. (No need to go all the way back to base!)<br />
<br />
While the 1.06 patch is free, the Fat Roles DLC is a premium add-on. All players will be able to see the new hat which activates the three new classes (pirates, ninjas and giants), however only those that have purchased the DLC will be able to pick up and wear the hats. Obviously, each of the classes have their own unique abilities: pirates have a gun, which can be charged for a more lethal attack; ninjas can throw shurikens; and giants can instantly kill other players (but cannot regenerate health). In addition to these base powers, the Fat Roles offer additional special powers.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/21/preview-fat-princess-1-06-and-fat-roles-dlc/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Preview: Fat Princess 1.06 &amp; Fat Roles DLC</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/21/preview-fat-princess-1-06-and-fat-roles-dlc/">Preview: Fat Princess 1.06 &amp; Fat Roles DLC</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 21 Jun 2010 06:30:00 EST. <em>Pinball Heroes</em> may be an odd way of cashing in on Sony's most successful franchises, but it works. The original release debuted on the PSP (via PlayStation Network) last year, and featured four tables based on <em>Uncharted</em>, <em>PAIN</em>, <em>Hot Shots Golf</em> and <em>High Velocity Bowling</em>. A new expansion pack, available next week on the PlayStation Store, will add four more tables to the mix: <em>Fat Princess</em>, <em>Wipeout HD Fury</em>, <em>ModNation Racers</em> and <em>MotorStorm</em>.<br />
<br />
All four tables will be bundled together for $9.99, and can be played with or without the original game. PSP Go owners have even more reason to check out <em>Pinball Heroes</em> -- it's one of the few games that can actually be played in closed system mode!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/21/pinball-heroes-adds-fat-princess-wipeout-modnation-and-motorst/">Pinball Heroes adds Fat Princess, Wipeout, ModNation and Motorstorm tables</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 21 May 2010 19:30:00 EST. Industry veteran Chris Millar has been around -- he's been with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/blizzard-entertainment">Blizzard</a> since the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/warcraft-2"><em>WarCraft II</em></a> days, and has worked on everything from <em>Black and White 2</em> to <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess">Fat Princess</a> - </em>but now he's off to head up his own company <a href="http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/blizzard-vet-forms-atomic-operations-production-studio">called Atomic Operations</a>. In <a href="http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/27809/QA_Blizzard_Lionhead_Epic_Vet_Chris_Millar_Launches_Atomic_Operations.php">this quick Q&amp;A with Gamasutra</a>, he says that the company will be a grab-bag of methods and products, all using "an evolved production method similar to that of movies." They've already got a project out the door, too: Atomic is the company that's supporting <em>Fat Princess</em>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/25/fat-princess-expands-with-two-free-dlc-maps-today/">with the bugfixes</a> released the other day and presumably more to come.<br />
<br />
Millar and Atomic Operations join the multitude of other Blizzard veterans off working on their own companies. Let's see, there's Keith Lee and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/27/iphone-app-offers-achievements-for-life-booyah/">his crew at Booyah</a>, the ex-Blizzard folks <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/06/the9-invests-nearly-15-million-into-red-5-studios-fire-rain/">at Red 5 Studios</a>, the unfortunate souls at <a href="http://xbox.joystiq.com/2008/04/08/yaris-developer-closes-its-doors-we-snicker/">Castaway Entertainment</a> and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flagship_Studios">Flagship Studios</a> (now <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/12/02/former-flagshipers-form-gravity-bear/">Gravity Bear</a> and <a href="http://news.bigdownload.com/2009/07/21/former-blizzard-north-exec-to-lead-marvel-universe-mmo-developer/">Gargantuan Studios</a>), new <em>WoW</em> TCG licensees <a href="http://cryptozoic.com/">Cryptozoic</a>, and a few <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/04/ncsoft-unveils-carbine-arms-with-former-wow-and-fallout-devs/">other little developers</a> and divisions headed up by ex-Blizzard devs. Whew, that's a whole lot of babies -- Blizzard is like the Zeus of gaming studios lately. What are they serving in the cafeteria over there, startup cola?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/26/former-blizzard-dev-starts-atomic-operations-game-studio/">Former Blizzard dev starts Atomic Operations game studio</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 26 Mar 2010 08:00:00 EST. Have you made a date with the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em></a> on PS3 lately? If not, perhaps this news will entice you to jump back on: a new patch today will add two new maps to the online PSN game. Frost Bite and Candy Mountain are both snow-themed maps, ripe for cake eating and princess snatching. This update will boost the number of free DLC maps to four.<br />
<br />
It appears that with this update, <em>Fat Princess</em> will switch hands to a new developer: Atomic Operations, helmed by former heads of Titan Studios. It seems that they may be working on that long-teased <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com/2009/08/19/fat-princess-ninjas-wont-be-lonesome-anymore/">pirate-themed update</a>, as a recent post on the <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2010/03/25/fat-princess-ps3-fat-fan-fare-with-patch-1-05/">PlayStation.Blog</a> ends with a "Yo ho ho." Of course, we could be wrong, and SCEA's Deborah Mars may simply be saying hi to some <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ho_Hos">cream-filled cakes</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/25/fat-princess-expands-with-two-free-dlc-maps-today/">Fat Princess expands with two free DLC maps today</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 25 Mar 2010 15:15:00 EST. If our <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/18/fat-princess-fistful-of-cake-preview/">comprehensive video preview</a> of <em>Fat Princess</em> for PSP whet your appetite for more, you'll be glad to know that the full experience isn't too far away. <em>Fistful of Cake</em> will be appearing on both UMD and PSN on April 27, promising "new game modes, new maps, a new extended storyline for single player." And although the single player options have been greatly expanded, multiplayer remains a big focus for the game, with 8-player Ad-Hoc and Infrastructure support.<br />
<br />
The <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2010/03/19/fat-princess-fistful-of-cake-trailer-and-interview/">PlayStation.Blog</a> features a Q&amp;A, a new trailer (posted after the break) and box art. Curiously missing from the announcement, however, is a price. An SCEA rep told us the price has yet to be "100% confirmed," and that an announcement would be forthcoming.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/19/fat-princess-fistful-of-cake-squeezes-onto-umd-and-psn-april-27/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake squeezes onto UMD and PSN April 27</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/19/fat-princess-fistful-of-cake-squeezes-onto-umd-and-psn-april-27/">Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake squeezes onto UMD and PSN April 27</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 19 Mar 2010 22:30:00 EST. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess-fistful-of-cake"><em>Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake</em></a> is a great match for the PSP. The game's structure, its very nature, means it can be segmented in a very effective way on a handheld platform -- a quick match during your morning subway ride or while taking a break from work is when <em>Fistful of Cake</em> works best. <br />

<a href="http://www.svsgames.com/?p=379">Supervillain Studios</a>, the developer of the upcoming <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess-fistful-of-cake"><em>Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake</em></a> for PSP, has released some new screens of the game, featuring the new Reaper Mode. Supervillain also lets us know that its developing for a simultaneous (or "near-simultaneous") worldwide release, though publisher Sony has yet to put a date on this cake, regardless of region. He also notes that the game is "pretty solid and bug free right now," which is always good to hear. Enough about <em>hearing</em>; make with the <em>seeing</em> in the gallery below!<br />

Say what you will about <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em></a> developer Titan Studios -- but don't say the team behind the slightly chunky Capture the Flag title is unappreciative. In <a href="http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2010/01/20/fat-princess-all-hail-the-fans-with-patch-1-04/">a recent PlayStation.Blog post</a>, the developer thanked its fans for their continued support, and announced that the game will receive a patch tomorrow. The update includes a few alterations to how online rankings are calculated -- but the <strike>meat</strike> cream filling of the patch is a brand new, totally free map, titled "Brownie Town." <br />
<br />
No further details on the new playground were given, but we're guessing it'll be a symmetrical metropolitan area covered in sweet, chocolatey pastries. Let us know how it is once the game is updated tomorrow!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/20/fat-princess-gets-patch-for-the-fans-free-brownie-town-map/">Fat Princess gets patch for the fans, free 'Brownie Town' map</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 20 Jan 2010 15:15:00 EST. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/flower"><em><strong>Flower</strong></em></a><br />
This year had a number of terrific downloadable games (this list is a testament to that), however no game -- retail or digital -- connected with me like <em>Flower</em>. Jenova Chen's <em>flOw</em> was an interesting experiment, but Flower is an <em>actual</em> game. In fact, <em>Flower</em> is one of the few experiences I can think of that show the true potential of games as a unique storytelling medium. No other non-interactive art form will ever be able to replicate what thatgamecompany has managed to create.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/02/best-of-the-rest-andrews-picks-of-2009/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Best of the Rest: Andrew's Picks of 2009</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/02/best-of-the-rest-andrews-picks-of-2009/">Best of the Rest: Andrew's Picks of 2009</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 02 Jan 2010 21:00:00 EST. What started out as tepid fascination in <em>DJ Hero</em> quickly turned into a deep, passionate love. I initially thought it was just another rhythm game knock-off with an obtuse peripheral and a too-high price point. However, as my turntabling improved, my fondness for the game multiplied. Based on the game's lackluster sales, I'm guessing most people shared my outright hesitance -- but once you invest a bit of time and patience into <em>DJ Hero</em>, I guarantee you'll get hooked. (And <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/06/dj-heros-full-track-list-revealed/#continued">that soundtrack</a>! "Oh man, I can't wait for the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/12/titan-demoes-fat-princess-new-pork-map/">New Pork</a> map for <em>Fat Princess</em>. It'll probably cost money and not come out until next year." Well, fictional person made up for this blog post, you are <em>wrong</em>! New Pork, a brand new map revealed during PAX, will be available to all players this Thursday, 10/29, as part of the upcoming 1.03 patch. In addition to the new map, the patch tweaks a number of issues and even introduces two new control methods. "Two new control schemes have been implemented to allow players to use the R1 button to attack and to free the player's right hand for target switching. This is AWESOME," says the <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/10/fat-princess-demo-patch-1-03-new-pork-map-is-free-oh-my/">PlayStation Blog</a>.<br /><br />Additionally, the no-blood mode now features candy confetti -- a delicious way to kill opponents and make your parents happy. If that's not reason enough to log back on, we don't know what is.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/26/fat-princess-new-pork-map-coming-10-29-is-free/">Fat Princess: New Pork map coming Oct. 29 for free</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 26 Oct 2009 01:30:00 EST. <div align="left">The portable version of Sony's PSN-exclusive darling, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em></a>, was being demoed by the publisher at yesterday's PSP holiday showcase and looked ... just like the console version. We asked Sony what would set the game apart from its console counterpart -- other than the fact that it's on PSP -- and were enthusiastically told, "It'll feature 50 percent more content!"<br /><br />Okay, that's very nice, but also very vague. So, we of course asked for more details and learned that the game will have a variety of modes not found in the PS3 release, including one where the class hat generators are busted at the beginning of the match and must be repaired using resources before they can be used.<br /><br />Another mode removes the princess from the equation and has players delivering something to their opponents' castle rather than removing it -- a bomb. Sony calls this portable version of the game "<em>Fat Princess 1.5</em>," saying that it also has an expanded single-player component, a new map and the aforementioned new modes (plus some). If there's anything this franchise stresses, it's that "more is better."</div>

Jeff Rubenstein over at PlayStation.Blog recently got a chance to check out <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess'</em></a> new stompin' grounds at the game's demo booth at PAX -- you'll find <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/09/fat-princess-new-pork/">his video preview</a> of the Roman-esque <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com/2009/09/05/new-fat-princess-map-new-pork-revealed/"><em>New Pork</em> arena</a> posted after the jump. The map not only possesses a visual aesthetic that stands out from the title's pre-existing levels, it's also got a neat instant-travel sewer system and a central resource hub that should lend itself to some fairly hectic skirmishes.<br />
<br />
Also discussed in the video is the upcoming content patch, which will renovate the ranking system, balance the classes a bit and make the team switching mechanic less exploitable. Not discussed are the quartet of new classes hinted at by Titan Studios last month. We want -- nay, <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com/2009/08/18/titan-teases-fat-princess-ninjas/"><em>we need</em> ninjas</a> in this game.<br /><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/12/titan-demoes-fat-princess-new-pork-map/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Titan demoes Fat Princess' New Pork map</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/12/titan-demoes-fat-princess-new-pork-map/">Titan demoes Fat Princess' New Pork map</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 12 Sep 2009 16:30:00 EST. If you thought <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em></a> was all about cake, then you were wrong! During PAX, the Titan Studios team announced plans for new DLC for the PSN multiplayer game. The first revelation is a new map entitled "New Pork" that looks more like Rome than a swine-flavored version of New York. Titan Studios is promising new kinds of strategies for use in the new map: "Use multiple sewer shortcuts to sneak up behind your enemies, blow up barricades to open up new routes of assault and defend your princess from the rooftops."<br /><br />According to the dev, this is just "the beginning of additional content for <em>Fat Princess</em>." Considering <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/23/the-kingdom-comes-to-fat-princess/">all</a> the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/20/titan-studios-skips-robot-zombies-adds-chefs/">teases</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/19/fat-princess-ninjas-wont-be-lonesome-anymore/">leaked</a> so <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/18/titan-teases-fat-princess-ninjas/">far</a>, we're pretty certain that whatever Titan is cooking up is going to be huge -- <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/04/fat-princesss-patch-of-ample-proportions/"><em>fat</em></a>, even.<br /><br />[Thanks, redskyy!]<br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/05/new-fat-princess-map-new-pork-revealed/">New Fat Princess map 'New Pork' revealed</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 05 Sep 2009 13:00:00 EST. Okay, so let's backtrack a bit here. Titan Studios has already invited <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/19/fat-princess-ninjas-wont-be-lonesome-anymore/">pirates</a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/18/titan-teases-fat-princess-ninjas/">ninjas</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/20/titan-studios-skips-robot-zombies-adds-chefs/">chefs</a> to the <em>Fat Princess</em> party. Now, it looks like we might see some other royalty: the kings? Titan's been very tight-lipped about all these reveals so far. Makes sense, too, considering the addition of four new classes would change up the game quite a bit! We're wondering if the kings can also succumb to the deadly allure of cake. If so, the battle lines are drawn: pirates versus ninjas, chefs versus kings. We can't wait!<br /><br />[Thanks, Kgg!]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/23/the-kingdom-comes-to-fat-princess/">The kingdom comes to Fat Princess</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 23 Aug 2009 13:45:00 EST. Yesterday, Titan Studios teased <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/18/titan-teases-fat-princess-ninjas/">ninjas</a> for <em>Fat Princess</em>. But what's a ninja to do without the help of their mortal enemies? Looks like PSN's online cake-fest will continue the ages-long saga of the epic battle between ninjas ... and <a href="http://titanstudios.com/blog/2009/08/avast/">pirates</a>. Predictable? Yes, but <em>far</em> from unwelcome.<br /><br />Who else thinks Titan should go one step further and announce Pirates versus Ninjas ... versus Zombies for <em>Fat Princess</em>?<br /><br />[Thanks, HeavyToka!]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/19/fat-princess-ninjas-wont-be-lonesome-anymore/">Fat Princess ninjas won't be lonesome anymore</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 19 Aug 2009 14:30:00 EST. Just when you thought the PlayStation news was about to stop and let bloggers go to sleep, Titan Studios shows off this image on their <a href="http://titanstudios.com/blog/2009/08/check-it/">blog</a>. Royalty thieves living in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/08/fat-princess-online-fixing-patch-live-in-north-america-coming-t/">North America have been enjoying</a> relatively lag- and disconnection-free online multiplayer in <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess">Fat Princess</a> </em>for about a week now. Europeans no longer have a reason to be jealous -- the online-fixing Patch 1.02 is <a href="http://titanstudios.com/blog/2009/08/fat-princess-eu-1-02-patch-live/">now live in their respective continent</a>. Don't believe us? Go ahead and boot the game up, and you should get the download prompt. See? There. Now, don't you <em>ever</em> dispute our credibility again, or else we're going to have a <em>conversation</em>. With our <em>fists</em>.<br /><br />The only place yet to get the patch is Asia, though Titan Studios promises to have that territory up and running "by the end of the week."<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/14/fat-princess-online-multiplayer-receives-patch-in-europe/">Fat Princess online multiplayer receives patch in Europe</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 14 Aug 2009 12:15:00 EST. If you were an early adopter of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em></a> living in North America who was let down by the game's disconnection-prone online multiplayer, you may want to give it another shot -- Titan Studios recently <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com/2009/08/04/fat-princesss-patch-of-ample-proportions/">released a patch for the title</a> which is designed to improve server stability, reduce lag, and fix a few in-game bugs (such as broken hat machines and scoring exploits).<br /><br />Fret not, European cake-feeders -- according to <a href="http://titanstudios.com/blog/2009/08/fat-princess-sony-america-patch-live/">a recent blog post announcing the patch's release</a>, the update will be coming to your fair continent next week. Until then, you can always spend your time playing the game's entertaining single-player offerings. Better yet, you can don a silly hat and start throwing cake at ladies in <em>real life</em>. We're sure they'd appreciate that.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/08/fat-princess-online-fixing-patch-live-in-north-america-coming-t/">Fat Princess online-fixing patch live in North America, coming to Europe next week</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 08 Aug 2009 14:00:00 EST. As <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Fat-Princess/" style="font-style: italic;">Fat Princess</a> fans have already realized, Titan's portly PSN exclusive is plagued with connection and balance issues; but <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/02/titan-studios-says-fat-princess-fixes-are-on-the-way/">a fix is on the way</a>. While Titan Studios has yet to put a date on the upcoming patch, it has revealed a list of some of the issues that will be addressed. According to <a href="http://titanstudios.com/blog/2009/08/feedback-fixes-faq-and-strategies/">a recent post</a> on the dev's blog, the patch will tackle connection issues, lag, hosting problems, scoreboard errors, dead hat machines and scoring exploits -- to name a few.<br /> <br /> The plump princess's dev team has also compiled a growing list of balance changes and feature requests based on player feedback for future updates, including the addition of new modes, maps and classes to an already rotund release. Titan promises an online FAQ will be made available soon to address upcoming changes in greater detail -- a full listing of issues and future changes can be found after the break.<br />
<br />[Via <a href="http://www.ps3center.net/news/3448/fat-princess-update-detailed/">PS3Center</a>]<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/04/fat-princesss-patch-of-ample-proportions/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Fat Princess's patch of ample proportions</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/04/fat-princesss-patch-of-ample-proportions/">Fat Princess's patch of ample proportions</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 04 Aug 2009 15:15:00 EST. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em></a> players rejoice! Titan Studios announced this weekend that it's hard at work on a patch that will fix the multitude of online multiplayer issues that folks have been dealing with. Notably, FPers have been encountering unsightly lag, causing many a broken heart (and more importantly, lost matches). <br />
<br />
<a href="http://titanstudios.com/blog/2009/08/update-from-titan-fixes-coming/">Titan says</a> that it's well aware of the problems -- thanks in no small part to an active, vocal community -- and that it's "working with Sony now to get the patch into the Sony testing process as soon as possible." The company hasn't released a more specific window for the patch's arrival on PlayStation Network, but we've asked Sony for comment and will update this post when we hear back.<br />
<br />
<strong>Update:</strong> Sony has told us that while there isn't a more solid release window set for the patch, we will know as soon as it has one. Sorry, folks!<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">Just another American PSN update today. A little better than normal updates perhaps, thanks to the inclusion of <span style="font-style: italic;">Fat Princess</span>, but it's also a red letter day. As I'll be moving on next week, it's the last time this blogger will be handling the weekly PSN updates -- both American and <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com/2009/07/29/european-psn-releases-for-july-30/">European</a> -- after <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com/2007/05/10/calling-all-cars-due-for-release-tonight/">over two years</a>. Wow, updates were different back then. <br /><br />Don't worry, though, you'll be in the safe hands of Alexander Sliwinski, who I took over this very post from back when Joystiq underwent restructuring in January. Anyway, what are you still doing here? You've got weighty princesses to rescue!<br /></div>

<div align="left">Tomorrow, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em></a> begins its invading spree. First it'll invade the <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com/2009/07/29/european-psn-releases-for-july-30/">PlayStation Store</a>, then it'll invade <a href="http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2009/07/29/motorstorm-game-launching-crashes-into-playstation-home-fat-princess-ambles-slowly-behind%E2%80%A6/">PlayStation <em>Home</em></a> and then, finally, the game will invade <em>our hearts</em>. The European <em>Home</em> Events space will be decked out with <em>Fat Princess</em> characters and you will be tasked with answering eight questions about the game in order to win slices of cake. Obtaining all eight slices will net you a Princess Throne for your <em>Home </em>apartment. <br /><br />We're not sure whether this space will be available in the US version of <em>Home</em> too, but don't worry Americans, we've got something for you here, too. The <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com/2009/07/29/trophies-fat-princess/">Trophy list</a> for <em>Fat Princess</em> has been handed to us on a crumb-littered silver platter, and you can check out some of the hilarious names the devs have dreamt up right now. Our favorite? "The Cake Is Not A Lie," obviously!</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">Do not adjust your computer internet monitor screens! Yes, today <span style="font-style: italic;">is</span> Wednesday. <div align="left">The release date for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em></a> -- which has been <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/20/youll-have-to-over-wait-for-fat-princess/">nebulous</a> for a while now -- has finally been nailed down. You'll be playing some class-based cartoony multiplayer (with a dash of bloody ultraviolence) this Thursday, July 30. This is a simultaneous release for American, European and Asian regions -- though a Japanese release date has yet to be confirmed. <br /><br />While the adorable cartoon protagonists will be losing arms and legs liberally, you'll be able to keep yours firmly attached thanks to a reasonable asking price of $15. No doubt European and Asian prices will be announced soon. Make sure you check out the <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/07/27/fat-princess-worth-the-weight-heres-the-date/">PlayStation Blog</a> for a PlayStation Eye interview with the developers from Titan Studios.</div>

We're not sure who or what put together these images of fattened celebrities in celebration of upcoming PSN title <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em></a>, but we sure do think they're <strike>swell</strike> <em>terrifying</em>. UK tabloid <a href="http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/features/2537182/Victoria-Beckham-Posh-Spice-looking-fat-David-Beckhams-wife-looking-chubby-in-funny-new-spoof-snaps.html">The Sun</a> has a whole mess of faux fat celebrities images, ranging from everyone's favorite Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham, to supermodel Naomi Campbell.<br /><br />Though information coming out of Europe about <em>Fat Princess</em>' release date -- <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/20/youll-have-to-over-wait-for-fat-princess/">even from Sony</a> -- has been less than accurate, the piece puts FP on track for an August PSN release. We've contacted Sony of Europe to ask for comment on the release date (as well as give us some idea where in the world these images came from).<br /><br />And no, we have no idea what Madonna has on her head either. It looks like the much anticipated cake binging/capture the flag sim <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em></a>, which was promised to hit the PSN sometime in June, will not make its initial release window. <a href="http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2009/06/18/playstation-store-update-%E2%80%93-18th-june-2009/comment-page-5/#comment-6510">Playstation.Blog Europe's Mike Kebby</a> confirmed that while the game would have a global release date, said date won't be next week, and that we can expect the highly frosted gore fest to drop "at some point this summer." Hopefully the warm summer months won't whittle our precious <em>Fat Princess</em> down to just a <em>Princess</em>. That's not nearly as catchy a title.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess-4-29-09/">Fat Princess (4/29/09)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess-4-29-09/#1525710"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/2009-04-17_14-55-52_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess-4-29-09/#1525711"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/2009-04-17_14-55-56_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess-4-29-09/#1525712"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/2009-04-17_14-56-32_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess-4-29-09/#1525669"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/2009-04-17_15-58-56_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess-4-29-09/#1525670"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/2009-04-17_15-59-00_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/20/youll-have-to-over-wait-for-fat-princess/">You'll have to over-wait for Fat Princess</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 20 Jun 2009 15:30:00 EST. It's been a long time coming, but the European <a href="http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2009/06/01/whats-coming-up-on-psn-this-june/">PlayStation.Blog</a> has confirmed that Sony's online cake-fest, <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em></a>, will receive a June release. Just in case you didn't notice, that's <em>this</em> month. While the release timetable is only confirmed for Europe, it's likely the PSN capture-the-princess game will find a global release.<br /><br />In addition to <em>Fat Princess</em>, SCEE confirmed June releases for <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com/tag/trash-panic"><em>Trash Panic</em></a>, <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com/tag/numblast"><em>Numblast</em></a> and a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/ghostbusters"><em>Ghostbusters</em></a> demo. PSP owners will be able to expect <em>Ape Academy 2</em>, <em>Everybody's Golf 2</em>, <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com/tag/syphon-filter"><em>Syphon Filter Logan's Shadow</em></a> and <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com/tag/wipeout-pulse"><em>WipEout Pulse</em></a> in the European PS Store.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess/">Fat Princess</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess/#2056562"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/06/fp_e3_gore_6_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess/#2056563"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/06/fp_e3_gore_8_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess/#2056564"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/06/fp_e3_gore_10_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess/#2056565"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/06/fp_e3_nogore_2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess/#2056566"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/06/fp_e3_nogore_4_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/01/fat-princess-gobbles-up-june-release/">Fat Princess gobbles up June release</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 01 Jun 2009 09:30:00 EST. The <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/05/19/fat-princess-dev-diary-ah-for-the-love-of-cake/">PlayStation.Blog</a> has updated with a dev diary for the game which talks about the various inspirations for the game. One interesting tidbit to note: <em>Fat Princess</em> was actually a work-in-progress title, but the producers couldn't think of any better way of labeling the game. Good thing they kept it, because <em>Fat Princess</em> is becoming a real icon amongst the PlayStation hardcore.<br /><br />You'll be able to watch this video again on the PlayStation Store later this week. Until then, feel free to watch this over and over again.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/19/fat-princess-dev-diary-reveals-more-footage-cake/">Fat Princess dev diary reveals more footage, cake</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 19 May 2009 17:00:00 EST. Well, isn't that just adorable. Tipster John sent us this image from the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fat-princess"><em>Fat Princess</em></a> beta, which you can see too by clicking on the game's "Online Store" section. We put a picture for you after the break if you're still completely confused.<br /><br />It seems that after being <em>utterly abandoned</em> during <em>Resident Evil 5</em>, the merchant from <em>RE4</em> has taken up a job in the world of <em>Fat Princess</em>. Well, we guess times are tight all over.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/19/fat-princess-tips-hood-to-resident-evil/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Fat Princess tips hood to Resident Evil</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/19/fat-princess-tips-hood-to-resident-evil/">Fat Princess tips hood to Resident Evil</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 19 May 2009 10:00:00 EST. Okay, so <em>Fat Princess</em> is still in beta. But it's so close! Can you taste it? We have a fresh batch of new <em>Fat Princess</em> screenshots from Sony's Gamers Day -- check 'em out!<br /><br />For those of you in the beta right now, feel free to leave a comment. Are you enjoying the cute (but gory!) online multiplayer?<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess-4-29-09/">Fat Princess (4/29/09)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess-4-29-09/#1525710"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/2009-04-17_14-55-52_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess-4-29-09/#1525711"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/2009-04-17_14-55-56_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess-4-29-09/#1525712"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/2009-04-17_14-56-32_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess-4-29-09/#1525669"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/2009-04-17_15-58-56_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fat-princess-4-29-09/#1525670"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/2009-04-17_15-59-00_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/29/get-fat-off-of-these-new-fat-princess-screens/">Get fat off of these new Fat Princess screens</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 29 Apr 2009 12:30:00 EST.
