Grab your popcorn! <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/04/saw-this-coming-games-based-on-saw-coming/">Film-focused</a> game studio Brash has inked a deal with the <em>Folklore </em>and <em>Genji </em>devs at Game Republic for a game based on, you guessed it, an upcoming Hollywood movie. The announcement follows Brash's recent <a href="http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/jumper?q=jumper">critically-panned</a> game adaptation of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/11/13/brash-to-make-game-based-on-jumper/"><em>Jumper</em></a>, as well as confirmed plans by the company to bring gore-porn series <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/30/saw-game-brings-gorno-to-consoles-in-09/">Saw to consoles in '09</a>.<br /><br />Having Game Republic on board does give us a <em>modicum </em>of hope that things will turn out at least playable, with 20-year industry vet Yoshiki Okamoto of <em>Street Fighter II</em> and <em>Resident Evil</em> fame throwing his weight behind the project. Neither studio has let slip exactly which movie will be the <strike>victim </strike>recipient of the adaptation, however, stating only that it will be based on a "popular" film based in "an incredible fantasy world," and will be released sometime in 2010.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/12/brash-working-with-folklore-dev-on-film-based-game/">Brash working with Folklore dev on film-based game</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 12 Mar 2008 12:00:00 EST. The "Best" games will sell for &yen;3,800 ($36), which represents a saving of roughly &yen;2,200 ($21) for Sony-published games and &yen;3,200 ($30) for third-party titles.<br />
<br />
On the other side of the ocean, Sony told <a href="http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=32694">GamesIndustry.biz</a> that a similar "Platinum" range of budget games would likely arrive in Europe. "We have introduced a Platinum range of best-selling titles for all of our platforms to date, and it is likely that we will do so in the future for PS3," said a spokesman, noting that the timing and lineup had yet to be finalized. <br />
<br />
We'll let you know what Sony America has to say about a budget lineup as soon as they accept our collect call.<br />

It's pretty safe to say at this point the team behind <span style="font-style: italic;">Folklore</span> is quite happy to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/11/psn-thursday-folklore-keeps-telling-tales-and-demo-your-stardus/">keep adding</a> extra content and value to their game through downloadable content. <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2008/01/31/playstation-store-update-20/">This week</a> the PlayStation Store gets another serving of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/folklore"><span style="font-style: italic;">Folklore</span></a> content with the "Nightmares" and "Visions of the Tower" packs. Of course, the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/28/rock-band-weekly-coheed-and-cambria-rush-and-smashing-pumpkins/"><span style="font-style: italic;">Rock Band</span> DLC</a> is available as per usual, and if you're looking for something cheeky, there is a free PixelJunk Monsters theme to download. Even though the <span style="font-style: italic;">Folklore </span>team says <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2008/01/30/final-folklore-add-on-packs-coming-soon/">this is its final add-on</a> for the game, why not keep reaping the rewards of absent competition in the space?<br /><br />Check out the complete list of content after the break and wander over to <a href="http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/01/31/european-psn-updates-for-january-31st/">PS3 Fanboy</a> for the European update details.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/31/psn-thursday-folklore-keeps-telling-tales-while-others-sleep/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>PSN Thursday: Folklore keeps telling tales while others sleep</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/31/psn-thursday-folklore-keeps-telling-tales-while-others-sleep/">PSN Thursday: Folklore keeps telling tales while others sleep</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 31 Jan 2008 17:30:00 EST. Who knew the PS3 exclusive adventure <em>Folklore</em> would have so much downloadable content? New costumes and quests were available for fans of Game Republic's adventure for the past few months. However, it's finally coming to an end. Download packs #5 and #6 are on the way, and they promise to reveal some interesting plot points about the motives of the Faery Lord.<br /><br />Check out the <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2008/01/30/final-folklore-add-on-packs-coming-soon/">PlayStation.blog</a> for the complete details.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/30/folklore-dlc-finally-coming-to-an-end/">Folklore DLC finally coming to an end</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 30 Jan 2008 19:30:00 EST. This is something much cooler though. Imagine designing your own monster and having it featured in the game as a free download. Yep, it's like the old <em>Mega Man</em> days where you designed the bosses and the developers mostly ignored you, except the opposite. The <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2008/01/24/new-folklore-pack-by-the-fans-for-the-fans/">PlayStation Blog interviewed the person</a> who created <em>Folklore</em>'s newest folk named Quasarilli -- here's what "Uridicy" said about the situation.<br /><br />"Art and games have always been a hobby of mine and as an aspiring game artist it is very exciting for me to see a professional 3D model of my creature Quasarilli." Uridicy goes on to express gratitude about and how the design was originally thought up. "I tried to incorporate some tribal elements with the mask like face, feathers, and horns." As for the skill set, Uridicy decided that stealing items would prove a useful skill for the game. This is true, since the game does require you to get a ton of items to level your other critters. We're glad stuff like this exists. It really brings gaming to a different level and will welcome with open arms any other similar contests in the future.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/25/folklore-fan-talks-about-his-downloadable-creation-quasarilli/">Folklore fan talks about his downloadable creation, Quasarilli</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 25 Jan 2008 10:30:00 EST. We all knew that <em>Coded Soul</em> was going to be related to <em>Folklore</em> (aka <em>FolksSoul</em> in Asia). But, we were still surprised to see so many creatures return from the PS3 adventure for this PSP-exclusive RPG. The Japanese <a href="http://www.jp.playstation.com/scej/title/codedsoul/">official website</a> has been updated, and those that played <em>Folklore</em> will be pleasantly surprised by a number of returning monsters. New screenshots are available, in the "World" section of the site -- and boy, does the game look stunning. This week PSN Thursday brings us a demo (and <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2008/01/10/new-super-stardust-hd-features-on-the-way/">update</a>) for frenetic shooter <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/superstardusthd"><span style="font-style: italic;">Super Stardust HD</span></a>, along with the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/08/folklore-keeps-telling-tales-with-two-new-dlc-packs/"><span style="font-style: italic;">Folklore</span> expansion packs</a> and the demo to the game that if you're a games reviewer might just <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/jeff-gerstmann/">cause you to lose your job</a>. For those who need to get a little nostalgic with PlayStation's original mascot, <span style="font-style: italic;">Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back</span> is available for $6 and, as normal, there's always this week's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/07/rock-band-weekly-iron-maiden-hives-stone-temple-pilots/"><span style="font-style: italic;">Rock Band</span> offerings</a>.<br /><br />Those on the continent of fine wine, cheese, and sausages can scope the Euro PSN update over at <a href="http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/01/10/european-psn-updates-for-january-10th/">PS3 Fanboy</a>. The developers of <em>Folklore</em> are really going <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/19/folklore-gets-in-the-holiday-spirit/">carpe diem with the downloadable content</a>, which keeps the sleeper title in our faces and compels us to keep writing about it. The game that can be described simply as "<em>Pok&eacute;mon</em> for adults" is getting two new add-on packs in the near future on the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/psn">PlayStation Network</a> called <em>The Alchemist Pack</em> and <em>The Origin of Belgae</em>; the packs are priced at $4 each or bundled for $6.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/folklore"><em>Folklore</em></a>'s <em>The Alchemist Pack</em> follows protagonist Ellen as she goes to the Undersea City to find her mother, while <em>The Origin of Belgae</em> sees her traveling to the Netherworld during the time of the original adventure. If nothing else, these constant add-ons for <em>Folklore</em> help build a cult following and certainly keep us talking about a title that would have otherwise been long-forgotten by now.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/08/folklore-keeps-telling-tales-with-two-new-dlc-packs/">Folklore keeps telling tales with two new DLC packs</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 08 Jan 2008 18:30:00 EST. American <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Folklore/">Folklore</a></em> fans will soon be catching up with their European brethren as two new add-on packs will soon be released. Already available on the European PSN Store, these expansions each add a number of new quests along with a new folk and costume to collect. <br /><br />Priced at $3.99 each, or $5.99 for both, we're guessing that these add-on packs will be added to the store this week on Thursday. For more details on the add-ons, titled "The Alchemist Pack" and "The Origin of Belgae", check out the <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2008/01/08/more-new-folklore-tales-coming-soon/">PlayStation.Blog</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/08/two-new-folklore-add-on-packs-arrive-on-the-us-psn-store-soon/">Two new Folklore add-on packs coming to the US PSN store "soon"</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 08 Jan 2008 16:00:00 EST. This week's batch of PlayStation Network content is pretty massive - "our biggest ever," according to the official <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2007/12/20/playstation-store-update-15/">US PlayStation blog</a>. There's a catch, of course, in that PSN will not be updated next Thursday (<strike>also known as Christmas Eve)</strike>. Enough pouting, let's open our presents a week early!<br /><br /><span style="font-style: italic;">Warhawk</span> fans have the most gifts under the tree this week, with the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/19/warhawk-expansion-arrives-day-early-free-for-a-few/">already-opened</a> <span style="font-style: italic;">Omega Dawn</span> expansion, a free theme, a game video of the expansion and (gasp!) the original <span style="font-style: italic;">Warhawk</span> PS One title downloadable as a classic for play on either the PS3 or PSP. Rhythm fans also get a tasty sampler of the usual <span style="font-style: italic;">Rock Band</span> DLC and a free <span style="font-style: italic;">Guitar Hero III</span> song, the holiday-themed "<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/20/guitar-hero-iii-gets-sleighful-of-fresh-tracks/">We Three Kings</a>"<span style="font-style: italic;"></span> (strangely absent from the list: the premium <span style="font-style: italic;">GH3</span> songs for this week).<br /><br />Downloadable games include <span style="font-style: italic;">Toy Home, Snakeball </span>and two PS Eye games:<span style="font-style: italic;"> Trials of Topoq </span>and <span style="font-style: italic;">Mesmerize: Distort. </span>A demo for <span style="font-style: italic;">Blacksite: Area 51 </span>is also out, and those looking for more festive updates can check out the free <span style="font-style: italic;">Folklore </span>DLC and <span style="font-style: italic;">PAIN </span>wallpaper. Full update list after the break; check out our sister site PS3 Fanboy for <a href="http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2007/12/20/european-psn-updates-for-december-20th/">European PSN</a> update info.<br /><br /><strong>Update: </strong>So apparently we have two fewer days to shop for Christmas gifts than we thought. With just a few days before Christmas, Game Republic and SCEA are getting in the holiday spirit by offering a free <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/folklore">Folklore</a> </em>add-on pack this week. The free download via the PlayStation Store includes two new winter-themed outfits for Ellen and Keats, a new quest called "Holy Night Visitor" for Keats and an entirely new Folk named Grab Bag.<br /><br />Ellen sports a new red snow-bunny outfit with matching earmuffs, while Keats' new outfit consists of a white trench coat and a holiday themed beanie and sweater. Ellen is sure to get Mrs. Claus jealous with her sweet red snow-bunny outfit complete with the earmuffs. <br /><br />This is a gracious offering from Game Republic, and we can only hope that it might pique a few gamer's interest enough to go out and buy this great game.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/19/christmas-comes-early-free-folklore-add-on-pack-available-this/">Christmas comes early: Free Folklore add-on pack available this week</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 19 Dec 2007 23:00:00 EST. This Thursday's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/psn-thursday">PSN update</a> brings a new holiday-themed <em>Folklore</em> add-on pack at the festive price of <em>free</em>. The <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2007/12/19/a-holiday-gift-to-all-folklore-fans/">PlayStation Blog</a> says that both protagonists Ellen and Keats will receive holiday outfits, with Ellen getting a snow-bunny outfit and Keats a white trenchcoat with reindeer sweater.<br /><br />Keats will also receive a new mission called "Holy Night Visitor," along with a brand new <strike>Pok&eacute;mon</strike> Folk called "Grab Bag," an anthropomorphic present which attacks enemies with holiday cheer. This would be the second time in recent memory Folklore has received <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/05/new-folklore-content-coming-this-month/">additional content</a>, so if you somehow run out of games this holiday and have any interest in RPGs, Folklore is a competent game worth checking out.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/19/folklore-gets-in-the-holiday-spirit/">Folklore gets in the holiday spirit</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 19 Dec 2007 21:00:00 EST. This week's <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2007/12/06/playstation-store-update-13/">PSN Thursday</a> update rolls in with some <span style="font-style: italic;">High Velocity Bowling</span>. The $10 PSN downloadable game is joined by a few <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/05/new-folklore-content-coming-this-month/"><span style="font-style: italic;">Folklore</span> add-ons</a> and the prerequisite <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/04/rock-band-weekly-enjoy-the-black-sabbath/"><span style="font-style: italic;">Rock Band</span> DLC</a>. Although we shouldn't be that excited, we're a little giddy over the free <span style="font-style: italic;">Ratchet &amp; Clank</span> theme -- and no, it's not a furry thing. (Not that there'd be anything wrong with that if it was.)<br /><br />For the PSN European update check out sister-site <a href="http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2007/12/06/european-psn-updates-for-december-6th/">PS3 Fanboy</a>. US folks can hit up the full update list after the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/06/psn-thursday-well-bowl-at-a-high-velocity/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>PSN Thursday: We'll bowl at a high velocity</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/06/psn-thursday-well-bowl-at-a-high-velocity/">PSN Thursday: We'll bowl at a high velocity</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 06 Dec 2007 17:00:00 EST. The first, "The Kidnapped Folk," includes quests to track down some kidnapped Folk, a new look for female lead Ellen and a new Folk called Maximillian, seen at right (think Pac-Man joining the <a href="http://www.scademo.com/">SCA</a>).<br /><br />The second is called "Bottom of the Sea," and adds new missions set ... well, at the bottom of the sea. There's also a new Folk called Phutcampus. If you're interested in these new facets of the <em>Folklore</em> world it's going to cost you, though. The packs will run you $3.99 a piece or two for $5.99. We'll let you know when we hear a concrete release date.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/05/new-folklore-content-coming-this-month/">New Folklore content coming this month</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 05 Dec 2007 15:45:00 EST. A recent update on the <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2007/12/05/new-folklore-tales-coming/">PlayStation.Blog</a> revealed that the add-on packs for <em>Folklore</em> will be available on the American PSN Store tomorrow. While the Kidnapped Soul pack and the Under the Sea pack have been available in Europe for a wee while now, they will finally be making their way to the US Store this Thursday priced at $3.99 each or bundled together for $5.99.<br /><br />Inside each pack is a new costume for Ellen or Keats as well as four new quests and a new Folk to capture, allowing you to keep the game going even after you've completed it. Fong also hints to more <em>Folklore</em> surprises coming in the future. European fans of <em>Folklore</em> were asked to draw new creatures for Game Republic's PS3 adventure. The <a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2007/12/04/from-a-folklore-player%e2%80%99s-dream-to-game-republic%e2%80%99s-reality/">Malion </a>emerged victorious, and will appear in a future downloadable expansion for the game. The Malion is certainly far more attractive than the winner of the American contest, the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/05/winner-of-folklore-character-creation-contest-chosen/">Quasarilli</a>. However, it'll certainly be interesting to see how these two creatures are brought to life by Game Republic and implemented in the game.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/04/new-player-created-folklore-revealed/">New player-created Folklore revealed</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 04 Dec 2007 13:00:00 EST. Would you kindly play the <em>Folklore</em> demo? This action RPG from Game Republic may not have garnered the same hype as titles like <em>Lair</em> and <em>Heavenly Sword</em>. Regardless of its subdued launch, the game offers some <a href="http://reviews.ps3fanboy.com/2007/10/11/ps3-fanboy-review-folklore/">truly fantastic gaming</a> -- some of the best on PS3.<br /><br />Sony wants you to get a taste of what <em>Folklore</em> has to offer. Like <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Camel">Joe Camel</a>, they're giving you a free sample in the PS Store ... and a few more incentives. Play through the game, download these <a href="http://fp.scea.com/Content/events/293/info/QAndA_questions.pdf">sweepstakes questions</a>, and answer them based on your findings from the demo. If you manage to get all the questions right, you'll be entered to win a copy of the limited edition <em>Folklore</em> art book. And when they say "limited," they mean it. The promotion ends on November 2nd. Good luck!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/20/play-folklore-demo-win-folklore-art-book/">Play Folklore demo, win Folklore art book</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 20 Oct 2007 11:15:00 EST. If you took advantage of the new price drop on the 80 GB PS3, you'll be happy to hear that you can start putting those luxurious gigs to good use with tons of new content on the PlayStation Store. First off, you've got some new demos for <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Folklore/">Folklore</a></em> and <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/search/?q=Juiced%202%3A%20Hot%20Import%20Nights">Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights</a> </em>and videos for <em>Uncharted</em>, <em>Turok</em> and <em>Devil May Cry 4</em>. In addition to some movie trailers, there's also a new <em>Eye of Judgement</em>-based theme.<br /><br />As if that weren't enough, the new update also come equipped with <em>value</em>, as the price of David Jaffe's super fun <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/CallingAllCars/">Calling All Cars</a> </em>has been reduced for one week to $4.99. ... Hey, does this mean it actually is in the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/02/jaffe-swears-off-blogging-was-it-something-we-said/">garage sale bin</a> now?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/19/playstation-store-gets-new-demos-trailers/">PlayStation Store gets new demos, trailers</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 19 Oct 2007 10:30:00 EST. Of all of Sony's titles this year, <em>Folklore</em> may have received the least attention from the gaming community. That's a shame, considering it's one of the most original and fascinating games of the year. The team at Game Republic has crafted a game filled with ephemeral beauty, mystery and intrigue. Yes, it has its share of flaws. However, the thought-provoking story, unique combat system and fantastic art style combine for an experience that no PS3 owner should miss.<br /><br />The game's protagonist, Ellen, finds herself in the town of Doolin to meet her long-lost mother. However, all she sees is her mother, dead, for a few seconds before her lifeless body is seemingly spirited away. Keats, an investigative reporter of the paranormal, joins Ellen in Doolin, and finds his destiny is closely tied with Ellen's. Unfortunately, the game's opening moments seem to do everything possible to dissuade players from pressing onward. The murder of Ellen's mom is certainly intriguing, but the decidedly drab palette of Doolin and uninspired music make the game feel lifeless. Navigating the town at first feels like a chore, and the confusing pace of the comic book-esque cinematics do little to help invigorate the player. But, the Netherworld beckons, and it's there that the game starts showing off its true potential.<br /><br />Ellen (and Keats) can both see the dead and journey into the Netherworld. When the player first steps into the Faery Realm, they're greeted by a lush, vivid dream-like world that stands in stark contrast to Doolin. Ironically, the world of the dead is far more alive. Here, players will utilize <em>Folklore</em>'s unique combat system.<br /><br /><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/11/ps3-fanboy-review-folklore/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>PS3 Fanboy review: Folklore</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/11/ps3-fanboy-review-folklore/">PS3 Fanboy review: Folklore</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 11 Oct 2007 19:00:00 EST. See, these are <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/newgames">the weeks</a> that picking the top release is easy. <em>The Orange Box</em> looks to be one of the best games of the year, but, more importantly, it looks to be one of the best gaming <em>values.</em> And we're all about the value here on Joystiq. We'd clip coupons, if our hands weren't already horribly misshapen and arthritis-ridden from decades of <em>clipping coupons. </em>Yeah ... we're pretty hardcore. PS3 is getting an interesting release too, with <span style="font-style: italic;">Folklore.</span> Check out all the releases after the break.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/half-life-2-orange-box/">Half-Life 2: Orange Box</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/half-life-2-orange-box/#310200"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/orangebox-e307-10_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/half-life-2-orange-box/#310201"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/orangebox-e307-01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/half-life-2-orange-box/#310202"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/orangebox-e307-02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/half-life-2-orange-box/#310203"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/orangebox-e307-05_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/half-life-2-orange-box/#310204"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/orangebox-e307-06_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/08/new-games-this-week-orange-box-edition/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>New games this week: Orange Box edition</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/08/new-games-this-week-orange-box-edition/">New games this week: Orange Box edition</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 08 Oct 2007 09:00:00 EST. Happy <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Folklore/">Folklore</a></em> week! Sure, Japan has had it for a couple of months now but since then we've been waiting patiently for the localisation process to be completed. This week our waiting pays off. But <em>Folklore</em> isn't the only big hitter to be released this week. Here's the full release list:<br /><br /><strong>US Games</strong>
<ul>

</ul>
<strong>European Games<br /></strong>
<ul>
    <li><a href="http://www.game.co.uk/PS3/Sport/Extreme/~r331611/Skate/"><em>Skate</em></a></li>
    <li><em><a href="http://www.game.co.uk/PS3/Sport/Basketball/~r332005/NBA-Live-08/">NBA 08</a></em></li>
    <li><em><a href="http://www.game.co.uk/PS3/Sport/Basketball/~r332005/NBA-Live-08/">Folklore</a></em></li>
</ul>
<strong>Asian Games<br /></strong>
<ul>
    <li><a href="http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-ze-49-en-70-2a8l.html"><em>NBA Live 08</em></a></li>
    <li><em><a href="http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-ze-49-en-70-2635.html">Rise From Lair</a></em></li>
    <li><em><a href="http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-ze-49-en-70-264b.html">The Godfather: The Don's edition</a></em></li>
</ul>
Not a bad haul. We're really pleased to see that <em>Folklore</em> is being released in the same week in Europe and America. We're also happy to see <em>Skate</em> finally get its PS3 release over in Europe. As for Asia, we're intrigued to see how well <em>Lair</em> (named <em>Rise From Lair</em> over there) sells, considering its <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/04/japan-loves-lair-famitsu-awards-game-high-score/">critical acclaim</a>. <br /><br />Don't forget, if there's a game on the list that looks interesting to you then feel free to order it, regardless of territory. Your PS3 <em>loves</em> games from other regions. Release dates are subject to constant change, so make sure you check with your local store before venturing out of the house.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/07/worldwide-ps3-releases-for-the-week-of-october-8th/">Worldwide PS3 releases for the week of October 7</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 07 Oct 2007 15:00:00 EST. Here is the Quasarilli, the winning entry of SCEA's Create a Folk contest. This creature creation was chosen by the development team, Game Republic, and will be featured in an upcoming downloadable expansion for the game. The winner, Lisa, will also be receiving a limited edition art book and a free copy of the game. Congrats!<br /><br />Stay tuned for PS3 Fanboy's review of <em>Folklore</em> next Tuesday.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/05/winner-of-folklore-character-creation-contest-chosen/">Winner of Folklore character creation contest chosen</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 05 Oct 2007 02:00:00 EST. Currently, there are more than 100 Folks in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/folklore/"><em>Folklore</em></a>, but Sony needs just one more.<br /><br />Developer Game Republic will turn the winner's artwork into an in-game character that will be downloadable from the PlayStation Store. Even more exciting is that entries will be judged by a panel that includes Yoshiki Okamoto of <em>Resident Evil</em> and <em>Devil May Cry</em> fame.<br /><br />The competition just kicked off and will run through Oct. 22. To create an entry, you must provide an illustration of your character, his name, a detailed description and a unique attack the player can absorb from him. If you've gotten all the videos from the PS Store and still want to watch these, you might just be looking forward to this game. We are, too, so don't feel bad about that. This is probably the only game Sony has pushed this hard -- it's already got multiple videos, multiple demos, and downloadable packs in the pipeline. <div align="center"><img vspace="4" hspace="4" border="0" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/08/lairlore.jpg" alt="" /></div>
What started out as a simple <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/27/deal-of-the-day-lair-and-folklore-for-15-each-at-amazon/">deal of the day</a> has turned into an ugly battle between Amazon and some of its customers. <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Lair/">Lair</a> </em>and <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Folklore/">Folklore</a></em> were listed for &pound;14.95 each, an incredible deal by anyone's standards. Because of this, both games shot to the top of the Amazon bestseller's list for Video Games. Some of our more paranoid commenters emailed Amazon about whether the price was correct and whether they would honour it if it turned out to be an error. At least one person apparently got an email stating that the prices were correct and that they should expect no price change.<br /></div>
<br /> As the old saying goes, "just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you." Amazon yesterday started sending out emails stating that people's <em>Lair</em> and <em>Folklore</em> orders had been cancelled due to a pricing mistake. It seems weird to us that two games were priced wrongly for exactly the same amount of time and at exactly the same price. What are your thoughts?<br /><br />[Thanks to everyone who sent this in]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/30/amazon-will-not-honour-incorrect-prices-on-lair-and-folklore-o/">Amazon will not honour "incorrect prices" on Lair and Folklore orders</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 30 Aug 2007 12:30:00 EST. Amazon's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/27/deal-of-the-day-lair-and-folklore-for-15-each-at-amazon/">amazing deal</a> on <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Lair/">Lair</a></em> and <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Folklore/">Folklore</a></em> yesterday seems to have unceremoniously come to an end. The price for each game has risen to &pound;34.99, more than double the "sale" price. Was it a sale though? We're not sure. It didn't take long for both games to hit the number 1 and number 2 spot on the bestsellers list for Video Games. We're sure Amazon themselves would have noticed the amount of attention the games were getting if it was a mistake.<br /><br />We don't know whether yesterday's prices will be honoured for those that pre-ordered the games, but are looking into it. If you've been in contact with Amazon about it, please let us know.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/28/deal-of-yesterday-lair-and-folklore-back-at-full-price-at-amazo/">Deal of Yesterday: Lair and Folklore back at full price at Amazon</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 28 Aug 2007 13:30:00 EST. Despite there being no retail releases in Europe <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/26/worldwide-ps3-releases-for-the-week-of-august-27th/">this week</a>, Amazon are keeping people happy with two potentially great games available for &pound;15 each. <a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Lair-PS3/dp/B000VE8FQG/ref=sr_1_11/203-1540389-2693505?ie=UTF8&amp;s=videogames&amp;qid=1188141703&amp;sr=1-11"><em>Lair</em></a> and <em><a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Folklore-PS3/dp/B000VEA7TE/ref=pd_ts_vg_h__2/026-5070551-1061200?ie=UTF8&amp;s=videogames">Folklore</a> </em>have both received the less-than-half-price treatment and are now firmly at the top of the bestsellers list for Video Games. <br /><br />This seemingly random deal has no explanation attached, nor an indication of when it might end. So if you fancy getting two PS3 exclusives for this incredibly cheap price, then do it now. Both titles promise to be excellent fun and we've thoroughly enjoyed our hands on time with both of them. The only problem now is, do you import <em>Lair</em> and pay full price, but get it a month early? Or order it from Amazon for less than half price and wait until mid October? Decisions, decisions ...<br /><br />[Thanks to everyone who sent this in]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/27/deal-of-the-day-lair-and-folklore-for-15-each-at-amazon/">Deal of the Day: Lair and Folklore for £15 each at Amazon</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 27 Aug 2007 06:00:00 EST. Nope, still no <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/EverydayShooter/">Everyday Shooter</a></em>. Instead, this week's PSN update is bloated with video content, including a <a target="_blank" href="http://ps3.joystiq.com/2007/08/23/lgc07-kojima-san-introduces-metal-gear-solid-4s-boss-character/">preview</a> of <em>Metal Gear Solid 4's</em> beastly bosses (<em>RAGE!!</em>) and another installment of the <em>Heavenly Sword</em> anime ad (building hype for a game that <a target="_blank" href="http://ps3.ign.com/articles/815/815031p1.html">one early review</a> seems to suggest is just that, <em>hype</em>). And, if you didn't lift it from the Japanese Store <a target="_blank" href="http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2007/06/01/new-folklore-demo-is-great-let-us-tell-you-why/">months ago</a>, an expanded localized version of the <span style="font-style: italic;">Folklore</span> demo (still without voice-overs 'cept in FMVs) is also available:<br />

Come and get these downloads while they're hot. We're a bit late with this post so they've cooled down a bit, but nevertheless the following still requires your attention. In celebration of the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/lgc07/">Leipzig Games Convention</a> Sony yesterday released a whole load of new stuff onto the European PSN. The full list is below, but we feel we must begin with a disclaimer; the <em>Folklore</em> demo will only be <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/20/eu-psn-update-due-on-wednesday-folklore-demo-included/">available</a> until the end of August. We've updated our <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Folklore/">Folklore</a></em> gallery with a load more images that really show off the great art style of this game. For those of you who don't find screenshots too exciting, take a look regardless. Monster designs, concept art and the final boxart are included. <br /><br />Just six of the game's monster designs are shown below, but rest assured that all 100+ are as creepy as stylish as the ones you see here. We have some more interesting information about this title that we gleaned from our time at 3Rooms yesterday. Here they are in handy bullet point form.<br />
<ul>
    <li>100+ monsters to catch and abilities to learn</li>
    <li>The game takes advantage of the internet by allowing user created dungeons, online leaderboards and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/20/six-quest-packs-planned-for-folklore/">Quest Packs</a></li>
    <li>The game includes seven different regions (read: levels): Hell Realm, Faery Realm, Warcadia, Endless Corridor, Netherworld Cave, Undersea City</li>
    <li>Ellen's costumes each correspond to one of the above regions</li>
    <li>You can start the game as either Ellen or Keats. You then play as that character for five chapters, before being able to switch between them at will during the final two chapters.</li>
</ul>

Sony has confirmed a PSP version of the title is in the works. The game probably won't be <em>exactly</em> the same (graphically obvious, plotline will also probably differ), but the interesting thing to note is the involvement of Kouji Okada. You may know Okada as the creator of the always-critically-acclaimed <em>Shin Megami Tensei</em> titles. What does this mean? You're going to get a badass PSP game.<br /><br />While our speculation leads us to believe this PSP title will be set in the same universe but tell a different story, there's nothing to confirm that. Sony has remained quiet on the issue. We aren't even aware of any link-up between the PSP and PS3 game for extra content, monsters, etc. Even if there is none, we know the title will be worthy of following up on, so expect to hear more in the coming weeks!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/20/folklore-will-get-some-life-on-the-psp/">Folklore will get some life on the PSP</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 20 Aug 2007 21:15:00 EST. During the <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Folklore/">Folklore</a> </em>presentation by the game's designer Yoshiki Okamoto at Sony's PR space, 3Rooms, some details on planned downloadable content were shown. Six download packs, or "Quest Packs", have been planned. Each pack will contain the following:<br />
<ul>
    <li>4 new quests</li>
    <li>1 new costume</li>
    <li>1 new monster<br /></li>
</ul>
At the moment there is something that looks suspiciously like the first Quest Pack on the Japanese PSN Store. It weighs in at about 24MB and is downloadable for free. We obviously love the idea of these packs being free. Unlike <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/03/want-the-upcoming-ninja-gaiden-sigma-expansions-get-your-wallet/">some downloadable content</a>. We also caught a glimpse of the concept designs for Ellen's costumes and they look great. There's one for each of the seven areas of the game, with an extra one being added with each of the six Quest Packs.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/20/six-quest-packs-planned-for-folklore/">Six quest packs planned for Folklore</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 20 Aug 2007 18:10:00 EST. PS3 Fanboy's trip to Sony alcove 3Rooms today wasn't all <a href="http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2007/08/20/new-playstation-eye-title-spotted-trials-of-topoq/">waving of hands</a> and flipping of cards, they also managed to walk away with the news that the EU PlayStation Store would be <a href="http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2007/08/20/eu-psn-update-due-on-wednesday-folklore-demo-included/">getting a hearty update</a> on Wednesday. The new content (including several trailers) will arrive in conjunction with Sony's press conference from Leipzig and will be topped off with a new demo for <em>Folklore</em>, the upcoming action-adventure set in a small Irish village.<br /><br />Sony told the PS3 Fanboy gang that the demo will be coming to the US soon, they're just not sure exactly when. Europeans will want to act fast, though, because the demo will only be available for a limited time before it disappears again into the mist. (If you're wondering, this would, in fact, be a perfect place for a <em><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brigadoon">Brigadoon</a> </em>reference. Unfortunately, that's set in Scotland. We know, we were disappointed too.)<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/20/wednesday-to-bring-new-content-folklore-demo-to-the-eu-psn/">Wednesday to bring new content, Folklore demo to the EU PSN</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 20 Aug 2007 17:25:00 EST. The EU PSN store is in a sorry state, wouldn't you say? Don't worry, we've <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/16/european-psn-updates-for-august-16th/">already</a> said <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/18/threespeech-feel-the-same-as-us-about-eu-psn-seeking-answers/">it</a> for you. Don't worry though, while we were at Sony's 3Rooms today, we were told that Wednesday night will see a large update straight from Leipzig. Why Wednesday? Because that's when the Sony Press Conference is, of course. The update will contain lots of trailers from the show as well as an English language <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Folklore/">Folklore</a></em> demo. <br /><br />Don't go being tardy about downloading it, however. The demo will only be available for a limited time before being pulled down again. We're not entirely sure why, but we're warning you regardless. If you didn't play the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/01/new-folklore-demo-is-great-let-us-tell-you-why/">Japanese demo</a> (or if you did and got stuck, what with it being in Japanese and all) then get it downloaded. <em>Folklore</em> is unique in its aesthetic style as well as its gameplay and has been shamefully overlooked. It's like playing a Japanese Tim Burton film.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/20/eu-psn-update-due-on-wednesday-folklore-demo-included/">EU PSN update due on Wednesday; Folklore demo included</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 20 Aug 2007 15:15:00 EST. Here at Joystiq, for instance, our coats are <em>much</em> longer than that and our accents are <em>much</em> thicker ... and sexier. <p>While we wait for the <em>Folklore</em> demo to hit US shores, it appears that 1UP has net an <a href="http://gamevideos.com/video/id/13971">exclusive trailer</a> for this upcoming PS3 action adventure. As we mentioned <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/15/hands-on-folklore/">at E3</a>, the game revolves around controlling two different characters as they travel back and forth from the Faery World. After watching this new trailer, do you share the same excitement as one <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/bloggers/jem-alexander/">unnamed British blogger</a>?</p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/16/two-heroes-share-one-destiny-in-new-folklore-trailer/">Two heroes share one destiny in new Folklore trailer</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 16 Aug 2007 20:30:00 EST. It's an interesting read, so we'll summarize the best points below for fun.<br />
<ul>
    <li>The two characters, Ellen and Keats, view the same events from different perspectives, but eventually end up working together towards the same resolution. We're sort of sad to hear this -- we wanted branching storylines, but so long as it wraps up well, we won't complain.</li>
    <li>Fong's favorite battle is against the Fleshrum. We've no idea what that means, but now when we play the game and get to that boss battle, we'll squeal in delight knowing it's going to be a lot of fun.</li>
    <li>When asked about the use of Blu-ray, Fong declared proudly: "Blu-ray allows us to provide a high-def audio and video experience without cutting corners or inconveniencing users with disc swaps."</li>
</ul>
In addition to those funky points, Fong tells us that there is a US and UK version of the demo planned to hit the PS Store, but he didn't say whether it would be before or after the October 9th release of the game. Either way, <em>Folklore</em> is one of the PS Fanboy's most anticipated games, so we're ready to grab us some souls.<br />[Thanks, Justin!]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/07/folklore-producer-admits-his-favorite-battle-us-uk-demo-plans/">Folklore producer admits his favorite battle, US/UK demo plans</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 07 Aug 2007 11:45:00 EST.
