The shots show off 25 different titles, some of which are already known, and some that aren't. Notable games include <em>Rabbids Party Land</em>, <em>Marvel Super Heroes</em>, <em>Just Dance 4</em>, <em>Monsters Party</em> and <em>Sports Connection</em>. Granted, many titles may be placeholders. For example, "Zombie" seems like an awfully vague title.<br /><br />There's no way to know how accurate the list actually is, though there are plenty of Ubisoft titles listed, so it certainly feels like a proper console launch. Check out the full list after the break.<br /><br /><strong>Update:</strong> A <a href="http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=37629861&amp;postcount=66">user on NeoGAF</a> who claims to have recently left Blockbuster's employment has stated that the company's list of Wii U titles is "entirely speculated by the sales team" and that titles are "there purely as placeholders." <br /><br />[Thanks, Vallanthaz]<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/07/report-blockbuster-uk-lists-25-wii-u-titles/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Report: Blockbuster UK lists 25 Wii U titles</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/07/report-blockbuster-uk-lists-25-wii-u-titles/">Report: Blockbuster UK lists 25 Wii U titles</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 07 May 2012 10:30:00 EST. Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb has provided a handy guide to the full Kinect launch lineup -- including launch day games and those arriving soon after. If you wagered there would be <em>four</em> sports minigame collections (<em>Kinect Sports, Deca Sports Freedom</em>, <em>Game Party In Motion</em> and <em>MotionSports</em>), you win!<br />
<br />
The seventeen-game lineup also includes three dancing games (<em>Dance Central, Zumba Fitness</em>, and <em>DanceMasters</em>), four exercise games (<em>Your Shape: Fitness Evolved, The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout, EA Sports Active 2.0</em>, and the aforementioned<em> Zumba Fitness</em>), and two 'boarding games (<em>Adrenalin Misfits</em> and <em>Sonic Free Riders</em>). See the full list after the break.<br />
<br />
Major Nelson notes that the Xbox 360 launched in North America with 18 games, just one more than Kinect is launching with -- bearing out Shane Kim's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/12/kim-microsoft-treating-natal-launch-like-a-new-console/">comment</a> that Microsoft would treat the Kinect launch like a new system. Or, it would, if this list didn't count the Kinect games coming out weeks after the Kinect release date as "launch games" vs. the 360's 18-game launch day. In any case, the Kinect has a lot of <em>choices</em>, even if they're all within a few categories.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/10/18/north-american-kinect-launch-window-games-rounded-up/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>North American Kinect launch window games rounded up</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/10/18/north-american-kinect-launch-window-games-rounded-up/">North American Kinect launch window games rounded up</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 18 Oct 2010 10:45:00 EST. If you've been denying yourself the opportunity to play <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Balance-Board/">Balance Board</a> games from a hilarious seated position for <em>budgetary</em> reasons, today's Amazon "15 Days, 15 Deals" special will appeal to you. The retailer has discounted a few Wii games including <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/11/06/rabbids-rave-about-fitness/">Raving Rabbids TV Party</a>.</em> Also among the reduced-price games: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/02/wii-fanboy-review-wario-land-shake-it/"><em>Wario Land: Shake It! </em></a>for $40. And guess what? It's more or less the same story throughout the rest of Europe.<br /><br />The Irish are shedding the Guinness pounds, the Germans are working off those br&auml;twurst, and Sweden ... well, we don't really have a lazy, go-to food stereotype for the Swedes. Anyhow, the point is: they're all loving it, and if <span style="font-style: italic;">Wii Fit</span> doesn't appear in a chart (see: Spain, Denmark), it's probably because a country hasn't got it yet, or the charts have fallen behind.<br /><br />Mind you, don't expect any of this Nintendo dominance to last: next week's charts are guaranteed to be all about <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/Grand-Theft-Auto-IV/">one game</a> (yet we suspect <span style="font-style: italic;">Wii Fit</span> might <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">give you</span> have better legs than <span style="font-style: italic;">GTA IV</span> in the long-term). Surely the rise of <span style="font-style: italic;">Mario Kart DS</span> to 8th in Ireland, 8th in France, and 7th in Germany can't all be a mere coincidence? By our reckoning, <span style="font-style: italic;">Mario Kart Wii</span> has ramped up Europe's interest in <span style="font-style: italic;">Mario Kart</span> <span style="font-style: italic;">generally</span>. Fortunately, <span style="font-style: italic;">Mario Kart DS</span> is the bee's knees!<br /><br />Finally, this week's overachiever award goes to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/19/metareview-sega-superstars-tennis/"><span style="font-style: italic;">Sega Superstars Tennis</span></a> -- despite the Wii version's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/13/no-online-in-sega-superstar-tennis-wii-because-of-time-constrai/">lack of online play</a>, Sega's tennis/blue skies extravaganza climbed to <span style="font-style: italic;">fourth</span> in the UK. Head beyond the break for more European chartage, and please accept our humble apologies for the lack of a Spanish top ten -- that should be back next week.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/26/another-week-in-europe/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Another Week in Europe</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/26/another-week-in-europe/">Another Week in Europe</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 26 Apr 2008 17:00:00 EST. Midway has announced that <em>Blitz: The League 2</em>, sequel to their <em>totally extreme</em> football game, will release simultaneously on all three home consoles this fall (we're guessing it'll be right in time to get lost among all the holiday releases). What about the <em>first</em> game, which was supposed to be a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/05/23/rumor-16-titles-at-launch/">Wii launch title</a>? <em><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chZsmKZ9Rjw">Saaaaaaaacked</a>. </em>Midway also announced a sequel to <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/28/midway-reveals-game-party-doesnt-get-wii-gamers/">Game Party</a>.</em> They must have made back the twenty bucks they spent developing the first one. <br /><br />No details have been revealed about either game -- Midway is planning to release more information about their entire lineup at E3. We at least know what to expect from <em>Game Party 2</em>: an average minigame collection that will generate <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/12/another-week-in-europe/">inexplicably high sales</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/19/blitz-the-league-game-party-sequels-coming/">Blitz: The League, Game Party sequels coming</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 19 Apr 2008 12:00:00 EST. They've looked low. And they've reached their verdict: there isn't a better pair of Wii games than <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/22/mario-and-sonic-wins-uk-post-holiday-period/"><span style="font-style: italic;">Mario &amp; Sonic at the Olympic Games</span></a> and ... <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/28/midway-reveals-game-party-doesnt-get-wii-gamers/"><span style="font-style: italic;">Game Party</span></a>. As a polished, slick, licensed product, we can totally understand (and almost <span style="font-style: italic;">support</span>) <span style="font-style: italic;">Mario &amp; Sonic</span> doing well (it came second to <span style="font-style: italic;">Army of Two</span>), but <span style="font-style: italic;">Game Party</span>? Could this be the same <span style="font-style: italic;">Game Party</span> that averages a whopping <a href="http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/941690.asp?q=game%20party">23%</a> on GameRankings, and which achieved a heady top score of <a href="http://uk.wii.ign.com/articles/841/841052p1.html">32%</a> from IGN? It is? Way to go, Britain!<br /><br />Beyond the top ten, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/03/carnival-games-only-for-vanilla-faces/"><span style="font-style: italic;">Carnival: Funfair Games</span></a> makes it to 16th place (and there's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/11/more-carnival-games-come-to-the-wii/">more</a> where that came from), <span style="font-style: italic;">Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity</span> and <span style="font-style: italic;">Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree</span> sit in 31st and 37th spot respectively, and we weep into our keyboards for the future of the country.<br /><br />Meanwhile, consumers in mainland Europe are also all over the plumber and the hedgehog, with the Wii version of <span style="font-style: italic;">Mario &amp; Sonic</span> registering top ten positions in the Netherlands and Spain, and sharing top spot in Ireland with the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/12/ds-fanboy-review-mario-and-sonic-at-the-olympic-games/">DS edition</a>. <span style="font-style: italic;">Wii Play</span> even makes an appearance in the Spanish and German charts, as it rolls cheerfully towards <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/10/analyst-predicts-the-wiis-bestsellers/">world domination</a>.<br /><br />Hit the break for a sprinkling of European charts!<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/12/another-week-in-europe/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Another Week in Europe</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/12/another-week-in-europe/">Another Week in Europe</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 12 Mar 2008 11:15:00 EST. If it's one thing Wii owners want, it's another minigame compilation title, amirite? No, in fact, I am <em>wrong</em>. <em>Dead wrong</em>. Because, like us, we're pretty sure you don't want any more minigame compilations.<br />
<br />
The game is to feature "a collection of classic skill games from around the world," including a half-dozen different minigames. These activities are to be comprised of darts, trivia and ... beer pong (looks like it, based on the image above)? Midway will be releasing <em>Game Party</em> come this November.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/28/midway-reveals-game-party-doesnt-get-wii-gamers/">Midway reveals Game Party, doesn't get Wii gamers</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 28 Jun 2007 12:00:00 EST. Midway just announced <em>Game Party</em> for the Wii, "a collection of classic skill games from around the world," like darts, table hockey, hoop shot (basketball?), and trivia. They go on to gloat that "more than a half dozen games are available." Whoa! Those half-dozen plus, which also seem to include Skee-ball and a variant of beer pong judging by the above image, hardly make a dent in the Wii's now <a href="http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1560247/20070522/id_0.jhtml"><em>towering</em> pile of minigames</a>, but every little bit helps we suppose. Unsurprisingly, <em>Game Party</em> will be available in November, just in time for ... well, y'know.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/28/midway-announces-game-party-cashes-in-on-wii-minigames/">Midway announces Game Party, cashes in on Wii minigames</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 28 Jun 2007 11:25:00 EST.
