"We really need them to do a lot for us. They're the ones out there selling the consoles, selling the peripherals and, in this time, we're trying to figure out how to fit that in to the whole digital landscape shift. We're just taking a bit of a measured pace with it."<br /><br />Microsoft's Xbox 360 has been the top selling console in the United States for the past <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/14/february-npd-dead-space-3-on-top-aliens-colonial-marines-in-s/">26 months</a>. Asked if the company would have moved faster on day-and-date if that weren't the case, Yeager responded, "I probably can't comment on that one."<br /><br />He continued, "We really strongly believe it's important to have these retail partnerships and the ability to sell our console is the most critical thing for us. If you don't sell the console, you can't sell anything else."<br /><br />Yeager pointed out that Games on Demand titles have gradually decreased their lag time between retail and digital distribution on the service. Sony's PlayStation 4 has already outlined a heavy digital distribution strategy. Microsoft is expected to announce the plans for its upcoming console in the coming months.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/22/xbox-games-on-demand-manager-explains-why-it-lags-on-day-and-dat/">Xbox Games on Demand manager explains why it lags on day-and-date launches</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 22 Mar 2013 08:00:00 EST. That issue will temporarily be resolved from February 26 through March 4, with the "Ultimate Game Sale."<br /><br />Specific prices aren't offered, but games are being marked down up to 75% for the sale, and the list includes, like, everything. All the <em>Calls of Duties</em>, the <em>Halos</em>, the <em>Batmen</em>, <em>Borderlandses, Metal Gear Solid HD, Dead Island, The Orange Box</em>, etc. Even <em>El Shaddai</em>. Check the list after the break for many more.<br /><br />Yes, these could all be discounted 1% and one game nobody cares about discounted 75%, but XBLM will be worth a look next week just in case. <p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/02/22/huge-xbox-games-on-demand-sale-next-week/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Huge Xbox Games on Demand sale next week</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/02/22/huge-xbox-games-on-demand-sale-next-week/">Huge Xbox Games on Demand sale next week</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 22 Feb 2013 13:30:00 EST. Rockstar is trying to make a case for downloading by discounting four of its top games through Xbox Live's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/games-on-demand">Games on Demand</a> service.<br /><br />For today only, you can download <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/la-noire"><em>LA Noire</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/max-payne-3"><em>Max Payne 3</em></a> and <em>Midnight Club: LA</em> for 33% off each - that comes out to $20 for <em>LA Noire</em> and <em>Red Dead Redemption</em>, $40 for <em>Max Payne 3</em> and $10 for <em>Midnight Club: LA</em>. All of the games save for <em>Max Payne 3</em> are going for more than their Games on Demand sale price on Amazon right now.<br /><br />Of course, we'd be remiss if we didn't mention three of these games are included in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/11/rockstar-games-collection-bundles-red-dead-redemption-la-noir/"><em>Rockstar Games Collection 1</em></a>. The only game not included is <em>Max Payne 3</em>, but that's fine because Max just <em>loves</em> being the black sheep of the family.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/12/21/games-on-demand-sale-max-payne-3-red-dead-redemption-la-noire/">Games on Demand sale: Max Payne 3, Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire, Midnight Club: LA</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 21 Dec 2012 13:00:00 EST. The downloadable version of <em>Fable 2</em> has been removed from Xbox Live Marketplace, both via Xbox.com or the console itself. The news comes courtesy of a <a href="http://uk.gamespot.com/news/fable-ii-pulled-from-xbox-live-6400935">GameSpot</a> tipster, and we have confirmed that <em>Fable 2</em> has been pulled from Xbox Live in both its <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/13/fable-2-episodic-experiment-deemed-massively-successful-by-mol/">episodic</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/06/fable-2-follows-the-breadcrumbs-to-games-on-demand/">Games on Demand</a> forms. Associated <em>Fable 2</em> content, including DLC, trailers and avatar items, is still available for download. Furthermore, both the original <em>Fable</em> and <em>Fable 3</em> remain available to download.<br /><br />We've put word into Microsoft to see what's up. It's too early to be certain, but we suspect Hobbes were involved.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/12/03/fable-2-removed-from-xbox-com-games-on-demand/">Fable 2 removed from Xbox.com, Games on Demand</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 03 Dec 2012 14:00:00 EST. Remember, celebrating the "holiday shopping season" is very different than celebrating the "holiday season" in the physical world, in that it involves more running people over, less sleep and more blind greed. Staying in to download some games for cheap is probably your best bet anyway.<br /><br />Xbox Live has <em>Dead Island, Gunstringer, Left 4 Dead 2 </em>and<em> Portal 2</em> for $20 each via Games on Demand ($10 off). Everything else is half off, including Darksiders 2 Argul's Tomb DLC and Death Rides Pack for 280 MS Points each, Magic 2013 for 400 MS Points and an expansion for 200 MS Points, Rock Band Blitz for 600 MS Points, <em>Sleeping Dogs </em>DLC for 120 MS Points and <em>Spelunky </em>for 600 MS Points. There's more on the complete list below, provided by <a href="http://majornelson.com/2012/11/20/xbox-live-marketplace-holiday-offers/">Major Nelson</a>.<br /><br />If you do want to venture out into the wild this weekend, Microsoft previously listed some noteworthy <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/11/16/xbox-360-black-friday-deals/">retail Xbox 360 Black Friday deals</a>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/11/20/xbox-live-black-friday-sales-keep-you-safe-this-holiday-shopping/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Xbox Live Black Friday sales keep you safe this holiday shopping season</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/11/20/xbox-live-black-friday-sales-keep-you-safe-this-holiday-shopping/">Xbox Live Black Friday sales keep you safe this holiday shopping season</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 20 Nov 2012 13:20:00 EST. If you are, let's say, a <em>person</em>, there's a reasonable chance your PC was ill-equipped to play <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/crysis"><em>Crysis</em></a> when it was first released in 2007. The erstwhile PC gaming benchmark is now officially available via Xbox Live Games on Demand and PlayStation Network. Well, the single-player portion is available anyway, as the console release doesn't include multiplayer.<br />
<br />
For those on the fence, we'll have a <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/deja-review">Deja Review</a> up soon. For everyone else, you can snag <em>most</em> of <em>Crysis</em> for $20.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/10/04/crysis-suiting-up-on-xbox-live-psn/">Crysis suiting up on Xbox Live, PSN</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 04 Oct 2011 19:30:00 EST. It might not have triggered a technological apoplexy in your PC, but the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/17/cryengine-3-sdk-available-now-for-free/">malleable</a> CryEngine 3 has granted Crytek access to a wider ranger of platforms -- including Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The original <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/crysis"><em>Crysis</em></a> is cruising to consoles (via PlayStation Network and Xbox Live's Games on Demand service) on October 4 for $20, according to <a href="http://www.ea.com/news/crysis-1-is-coming-to-xbox-live-and-psn">EA</a>'s last announcement.<br />

The publisher sent out a small batch of screenshots too, which we've appended below. Eager to virtually explore the bizarre world of Agent York in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/deadly-premonition"><em>Deadly Premonition</em></a>, but can't seem to locate a hard copy of the cult hit? Rising Star Games has you covered, as the publisher plans to launch the title digitally through Xbox Live's Games on Demand service next week, on July 5, for an unannounced price -- at least in the UK. We've reached out to <em>DP</em>'s North American publisher, Ignition Entertainment, to see if it's landing Stateside as well.<br />
<br />
So, rather than spending July 5 sweating profusely, how about grabbing a piping hot cup of coffee, turning on the AC, and walking through the doors of perception with us? Don't worry, <em>we'll bring the pie</em>.<br />
<br />
<strong>Update:</strong> The game will cost &pound;14.99/&euro;19.99 in the UK/EU, and Rising Star is only handling distribution in PAL territories. We've yet to hear back from Ignition reps.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/06/28/deadly-premonition-walking-backwards-to-uk-games-on-demand-next/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Deadly Premonition walking backwards to UK Games on Demand next week</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/06/28/deadly-premonition-walking-backwards-to-uk-games-on-demand-next/">Deadly Premonition walking backwards to UK Games on Demand next week</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 28 Jun 2011 22:00:00 EST. Most notable among the four titles is probably <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/vanquish"><em>Vanquish</em></a>, which can be had for a steep $40. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/dirt-2"><em>DiRT 2</em></a> is also available for $30, while either <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/velvet-assassin"><em>Velvet Assassin</em></a> or <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/operation-flashpoint-dragon-rising"><em>Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising</em></a> can be had for $20.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/12/xbl-games-on-demand-adds-vanquish-dirt-2-more/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>XBL Games on Demand adds Vanquish, DiRT 2, more</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/12/xbl-games-on-demand-adds-vanquish-dirt-2-more/">XBL Games on Demand adds Vanquish, DiRT 2, more</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 12 May 2011 22:30:00 EST. It's going to be a busy month on Xbox Live. Not only is <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/03/04/gears-of-war-3-beta-bulletstorm-players-in-april-18-gamestop-p/">the Gears of War 3 beta</a> set to drop on April 25 for those who pre-ordered through GameStop (April 18 for those who <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/03/04/gears-of-war-3-beta-bulletstorm-players-in-april-18-gamestop-p/">snagged Bulletstorm</a>), there's also a half-month full of XBLA games, Games on Demand titles and deals -- even some slashed prices on Microsoft Game Studios content, like the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/10/25/halo-reach-noble-map-pack-trailer/"><em>Halo: Reach </em>Noble Map Pack</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/10/11/alan-wake-the-writer-review/"><em>Alan Wake's</em> The Writer DLC</a>.<br />

<a href="http://majornelson.com/archive/2011/03/03/comingsoontothexboxlivemarketplacemarchthird.aspx">Major Nelson</a> has posted highlights from the Xbox Live Marketplace schedule for March. First up, the <em>Dragon Age 2</em> "Black Emporium" DLC -- free to those who purchase <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/01/12/dragon-age-2-bonus-dlc-opens-the-black-emporium-for-business/">new copies of the game</a> -- will land on March 8 for 800 points ($10). Second, as promised, bonus characters Jill and Shuma Gorath will be available for <em>Marvel vs. Capcom 3</em> on March 15 for 400 points ($5) each.<br />
<br />
In other XBLM happenings, March 7 kicks off a Lara Croft themed "Deal of the Week," which will see <em>Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light</em> knocked down to 600 points ($7.50). <em>Lara Croft</em> DLC will also be discounted by fifty percent. Also, the week of March 14 will see several St. Patrick's Day deals, notably some discounted Green Day DLC (green -- geddit?) and Social Distortion's "Bad Luck" for <em>Rock Band</em>.<br />
<br />
Finally, Xbox Live Silver members can enjoy free Xbox Live Gold this weekend, beginning Friday, March 4 at 12PM ET through Monday, March 7 at 12PM ET. Head past the break for a more complete schedule of releases.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/03/03/xblm-in-march-lara-croft-deals-mvc3-and-dragon-age-2-dlc/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>XBLM in March: Lara Croft deals, MvC3 and Dragon Age 2 DLC, free Gold weekend</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/03/03/xblm-in-march-lara-croft-deals-mvc3-and-dragon-age-2-dlc/">XBLM in March: Lara Croft deals, MvC3 and Dragon Age 2 DLC, free Gold weekend</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 03 Mar 2011 17:40:00 EST. Let's just start this post by advising readers not to purchase <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/modern-warfare-2">Modern Warfare 2</a></em> via Xbox Live Games on Demand. The game was just added to the service and currently commands a price of <a href="http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/Modern-Warfare-2/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d80241560817?cid=SLink&amp;DownloadType=Game#LiveZone">$60</a>. Please, if you must purchase Modern Warfare 2, buy it elsewhere -- like, literally <em>anywhere</em> else. You'll save some money.<br />
<br />
Now, with that out of the way, two other games are now available on demand, namely <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/aliens-vs-predator">Aliens vs. Predator</a></em> and <em>Rapala Tournament Fishing</em>. The former will set you back <a href="http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/Aliens-vs-Predator/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8025345082a?DownloadType=Game#LiveZone">$30</a> while the latter can be reeled in for <a href="http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/Rapala-Tournament/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d802415607eb?DownloadType=Game#LiveZone">$20</a>. Finally, Sega has also <a href="http://blogs.sega.com/usa/2011/02/15/aliens-vs-predator-and-bayonetta-on-games-on-demand/">announced</a> that <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/bayonetta">Bayonetta</a></em> will strut her way onto XBL Games on Demand next week for an undetermined price. We're going to <em>guess</em> it's lower than $60. <p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/15/avp-modern-warfare-2-on-xbl-games-on-demand-bayonetta-next-wee/">AvP, Modern Warfare 2 on XBL Games on Demand, Bayonetta next week</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 15 Feb 2011 19:40:00 EST. <div style="text-align: left;">Another Tuesday, another batch of Xbox Live Games on Demand. This week it's <em>NFL Tour</em>, <em>FaceBreaker</em> and <em>Stuntman: Ignition</em>. They're available for $20 each in the US. (As usual, pricing and availability vary by region.) Also, you should probably think long and hard before picking up <a href="http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/nfltour?q=nfl%20tour"><em>NFL Tour</em></a> or <a href="http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/facebreaker?q=facebreaker"><em>FaceBreaker</em></a>.<br />

<em>NBA Street Homecourt</em> and hack-n-slasher <em>Conan</em> are both available now for $20 on Xbox 360's Games on Demand. Yes, you can pick up physical copies of both titles for half that price used at GameStop. Also, <em>Rockstar Table Tennis</em> is now available on GoD in Asia and <em>Project Sylpheed</em> can be purchased off the service in Japan.<br />

Major Nelson has <a href="http://www.majornelson.com/archive/2010/06/04/coming-soon-to-the-xbox-live-marketplace-june-4.aspx">spilled all of the proverbial beans</a> on next week's XBL content and deals, and it looks like the perfect time to catch up on some games you might have missed. <br />
<br />
Leading the pack is <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/earthworm-jim-hd"><em>Earthworm Jim HD</em></a>, the long-awaited re-release of the only game in memory that lets you launch cows for fun and profit. It'll be out on Wednesday, June 9, for 800<img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.xbox360fanboy.com/media/2007/11/microsoftpointslogosmall.gif" alt="" /> ($10). <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/red-faction-guerilla">Red Faction Guerrilla</a> </em>and <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/need-for-speed-undercover"><em>Need for Speed Undercover</em></a> will be released for Games on Demand, and a demo for <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/lego-harry-potter"><em>LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4</em></a> will be out on Monday, June 7.<br />
<br />
The deals are excellent as well -- <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/worms-2-armageddon"><em>Worms 2: Armageddon</em></a>, <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/duke-nukem-hd"><em>Duke Nukem 3D</em></a> and <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/peggle"><em>Peggle</em></a> (yes!) will all be on sale next week for 400<img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.xbox360fanboy.com/media/2007/11/microsoftpointslogosmall.gif" alt="" /> ($5), and you'll be able to get FPSes <em>Serious Sam HD</em>, <em>Call of Duty Classic</em> and <em>Battlefield 1943</em> for just 800<img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.xbox360fanboy.com/media/2007/11/microsoftpointslogosmall.gif" alt="" /> ($10).<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/05/earthworms-fps-deals-and-lego-harry-potter-on-xbla-next-week/">Earthworms, FPS deals and LEGO Harry Potter on XBLM next week</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 05 Jun 2010 09:00:00 EST. It's all about war on Xbox Live Games on Demand this week. Up for grabs are two war, one from the history books and another inspired by more modern fare. <em>Battlestations: Midway</em> puts players in charge of sea and air skirmishes of World War II. Meanwhile, <em>Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare</em> is ... well, you're <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/04/seen-e3-infinity-ward-accepts-call-of-duty-4-guinness-record/">probably familiar with that one</a>. As always, even in war, prices and availability vary by region.<br />

Let's face it, most of us will never be a Jedi nor a professional tennis player. However, thanks to Xbox Live Games on Demand, you can now <em>pretend</em> to be either one, since <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/star-wars-the-force-unleashed"><em>Star Wars: The Force Unleashed</em></a> and <em>Top Spin 3 </em>are both up for grabs this week. We'll let you sort out which one is about Jedi knights. As always, availability and pricing will vary by region.<br />

We hope you like militaristic destruction, because that's what you're getting on Games on Demand this week. Up for grabs are three games about blowing stuff up and not much else. First is <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/endwar"><em>Tom Clancy's EndWar</em></a>, the 2009 voice-controlled real-time strategy game from Ubisoft. Next we have some WWII naval and air combat by way of <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/battlestations-pacific"><em>Battlestations: Pacific</em></a>. Finally, there's <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/raiden-fighters-aces"><em>Raiden Fighters Aces</em></a>, a compilation of the <em>Raiden Fighters </em>arcade shoot-em-up series.<br />
<br />
You can add one of the games to your download queue with the handy Xbox Live Marketplace links below. Just remember that pricing and availability vary by region.<br />

That, ladies and gentlemen, is a lot of new Games on Demand. We've got three new ones this week and a price drop. As for the new titles, we've got a platformer, military shooter and hardcore skating simulation in <em>Prince of Persia</em>, <em>Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway</em> and <em>Skate 2</em>, respectively. <em>Prince of Persia</em> and <em>Skate 2</em> each run $19.99 in the US, while <em>Brothers in Arms</em> will set you back $29.99. Meanwhile, Rockstar's <em>Table Tennis</em> has seen a 10 dollar price drop to $19.99. As always, pricing and availability vary by region.<br />

You know that dusty piggy bank you've had sitting on the shelf forever? Look, forget the kid's college fund -- she's not going to college for, like, <em>years</em> -- and bust that thing open! There's going to be some solid content on Xbox Live Marketplace this month.<br />
<br />
In the mood for XBLA games? How does <em><a linkindex="46" href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/rocket-knight">Rocket Knight</a> </em>or <a linkindex="47" href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/04/this-wednesday-zeno-clash-raystorm-hd-fly-into-xbla/"><em>Zeno Clash</em></a> tickle your fancy? Oh, so you want some DLC -- <a linkindex="48" href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/04/dragon-age-origins-darkspawn-chronicles-coming-may-18/"><em>Dragon Age: Origins</em></a> will have more to offer the tireless adventurer later this month. Want to learn the <a linkindex="49" href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/the-secret-of-monkey-island-special-edition"><em>Secret of Monkey Island</em></a><em>?</em> During the week of May 17, the <em>secret</em> will be half-off. See what we mean?<br />
<br />
Head past the break for more XBLM release highlights for the month provided by Microsoft.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/04/xbox-live-marketplace-in-may-rocket-knight-dragon-age-dlc/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Xbox Live Marketplace in May: Rocket Knight, Dragon Age DLC and more</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/04/xbox-live-marketplace-in-may-rocket-knight-dragon-age-dlc/">Xbox Live Marketplace in May: Rocket Knight, Dragon Age DLC and more</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 04 May 2010 16:03:00 EST. You'd think <em>one</em> April Xbox Live schedule would be enough, but apparently not for Microsoft. The company just issued another release schedule packed with Xbox Live Arcade, DLC, Games on Demand, Avatar goodies and Deals of the Qeek. Leading the pack is the long-awaited <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/20/tecmo-bowl-throwback-blitzing-xbla-on-april-28/">release of <em>Tecmo Bowl Throwback</em></a>. Xbox owners can also expect new <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/game-room">Game Room</a> titles, <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/left-4-dead-2"><em>Left 4 Dead 2</em></a> and <em>BioShock 2</em> DLC and a half-priced <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/the-dishwasher-dead-samurai"><em>The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai</em></a>. Check out a full list of the impending releases after the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/20/xbox-live-april-schedule-redux-more-game-room-tecmo-bowl/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Xbox Live April schedule redux: More Game Room, Tecmo Bowl</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/20/xbox-live-april-schedule-redux-more-game-room-tecmo-bowl/">Xbox Live April schedule redux: More Game Room, Tecmo Bowl</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 20 Apr 2010 15:30:00 EST. Microsoft has unfurled some of its <a href="http://gamerscoreblog.com/press/archive/2010/04/06/ws186.aspx">plans</a> for Xbox Live downloadable content for April, including new additions to Games on Demand and Deals of the Week, as well as the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/18/finally-final-fight-double-impact-arrives-april-14-and-15/">April 14th</a> release of <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/final-fight-double-impact">Final Fight: Double Impact</a>.</em><br />
<br />
On top of that, look for a half-priced <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/the-maw"><em>The Maw</em></a> on the week of April 12 and two add-ons for <em>Mega Man 10</em> this week: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/01/wiiware-mega-man-10-gets-dlc-bass-character-on-april-5/">Bass</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/23/mega-man-10-special-stages-bring-back-obscure-bosses/">Special Stage 1</a>. You've been able to download <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fable-2"><em>Fable 2</em></a> through Xbox Live episodically until now, but who has time for all that thumb stick manipulation, button pressing and dashboard navigation? <em>Zeroes</em>, that's who. Starting today, you can buy the game like a sane person: In one big chunk for $20 from Games on Demand. Additionally, <em>Kung Fu Panda</em> is now available for purchase through Games on Demand for $30.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://majornelson.com/archive/2010/04/06/games-on-demand-fable-ii-and-fallout-3.aspx">Major Nelson also announced</a> that <a href="http://fallout-3"><em>Fallout 3</em></a> is now available on demand in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, leaving India and Japan as the sole holdout territories that can't experience the joy of <em>nuclear devastation </em>with a single button press. Soon, guys. Soon.<br />

<a href="http://www.majornelson.com/archive/2010/03/23/xbox-live-marketplace-release-schedule-march-23.aspx">Major Nelson</a> has dropped a new <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/xblm">Xbox Live Marketplace</a> schedule for the remainder of March and beginning of April and, while we knew about most of the major releases already, there's still some surprises to be found. First, the next two weeks will see some nice Deal of the Week promotions, with <em>Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram</em> falling to 800<img alt="" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.xbox360fanboy.com/media/2007/11/microsoftpointslogosmall.gif" /> ($10) and <em>Geometry Wars 2</em> dropping to a paltry 400<img alt="" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.xbox360fanboy.com/media/2007/11/microsoftpointslogosmall.gif" /> ($5).<br />
<br />
Beyond that, Xbox Live Silver members will also be able to enjoy free Xbox Live Gold -- including online multiplayer, Netflix, last.fm, Facebook and Twitter -- from noon ET on April 1 through noon ET on April 5. And, as if all that wasn't enough, Major announced that ten Xbox Live Arcade games will go on sale from April 1 through April 7. The full list of games hasn't been announced, though it will include <em>Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix</em>, <em>South Park</em> and <em>Defense Grid</em>. Check out the full Xbox Live schedule after the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/23/xbox-live-march-schedule-free-xbox-live-gold-xbla-sale/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Xbox Live March schedule: Free Xbox Live Gold, XBLA sale</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/23/xbox-live-march-schedule-free-xbox-live-gold-xbla-sale/">Xbox Live March schedule: Free Xbox Live Gold, XBLA sale</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 23 Mar 2010 13:47:00 EST. Attention would-be wastelanders, <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/fallout-3"><em>Fallout 3</em></a> is <a href="http://majornelson.com/archive/2010/03/02/games-on-demand-fallout-3-and-street-fighter-iv.aspx">now available</a> on <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/@xbox,games-on-demand">Xbox Live Games on Demand</a>. The game clocks in at 5GB and is available in all Xbox Live regions except India, Japan and New Zealand. It costs $29.99 in North America, which is about even with most retailers. As usual, prices for other regions will vary.<br />
<br />
Meanwhile, <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/street-fighter-iv"><em>Street Fighter IV</em></a> -- <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/09/street-fighter-iv-hits-games-on-demand/">previously available only in North America and Asia</a> -- is now available in all Xbox Live regions. Before you plunk down the cash for <em>Street Fighter IV</em>, though, don't forget that you can grab <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/26/super-street-fighter-iv-dated-april-27-lost-planet-2-on-may-18/">something a little more <em>super</em></a> next month.<br />
