The latest game in the long-running series was last seen on XBLA in July 2011.

The core gameplay, according to HeroCraft, will remain the same as always: players race through caves while collecting diamonds and defeating enemies. Boulder Dash-XL for iOS includes two playable characters, five game modes, four worlds, over 100 caves, and "lots of diamonds and fun."
