The above image shows a poster found in <em>ODST</em>, which portrays a planet within close proximity to a large white sphere, with the message "DESTINY AWAITS" scrawled above. The similarities between this image and the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/11/27/bungie-confirms-leak-of-story-info-concept-art-for-destiny/">recently leaked <em>Destiny</em> concept art</a> is undeniable, especially the title screen-esque image <a href="http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/11/28/destiny-story-details-concept-art-leaked">obtained by IGN</a>.<br /><br />Former Bungie employee and Halo series level designer Vic Deleon has <a href="https://twitter.com/vicdeleon/statuses/274066360466800641">confirmed</a> the connection, exclaiming that the secret had "FINALLY BEEN FOUND!" on Twitter. In light of these events, we've decided to dig even further into the annals of Halo lore by running the entirety of <em>Halo: The Fall of Reach</em> through an anagram construction algorithm and seeing what we come up with. Should that prove fruitless, we'll start decompiling the code for <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pathways_Into_Darkness"><em>Pathways into Darkness</em></a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/11/30/bungies-destiny-was-teased-way-back-in-halo-3-odst/">Bungie's Destiny was teased way back in Halo 3: ODST</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 30 Nov 2012 15:15:00 EST. Did you upgrade to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/wii-fit-plus"><em>Wii Fit Plus</em></a> so you can stay in shape over the holidays? While some may <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/11/fitness-group-underwhelmed-by-wii-fit-exercises/">question</a> the validity of a <em>Wii Fit</em> "workout," premium water company Hint is trying to capitalize on the craze by offering all purchasers of Nintendo's latest fitness title a free case of water. A standalone copy of <em>Wii Fit Plus</em> costs $20, while a 12-pack of Hint water costs <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K8WVYA?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=prey0f&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B000K8WVYA">$22</a>, making this quite the "deal."<br /><br />According to its <a href="http://www.drinkhint.com/">official website</a>, "Hint is a pure healthy water lightly infused with natural flavors. Unsweetened. Lightly flavored. No calories." If you're into that sort of thing, you can send in a digital scan of your <em>Wii Fit Plus</em> receipt to <strong>hintwater@5wpr.com</strong>. You'll be able to choose from one of the following flavors: Blackberry, Watermelon, Pomegranate Tangerine, Mango Grapefruit or Raspberry Lime.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/10/buy-wii-fit-plus-get-free-water/">Buy Wii Fit Plus, get free water</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 10 Nov 2009 23:15:00 EST. Or a strange new <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warheads_(confectionery)">candy</a>. <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warhead_%28disambiguation%29">Or ...</a>)<br /><br />The recent filing isn't Crytek's first hint at extension of the brand -- the company has also filed for trademark protection of "<a href="http://tarr.uspto.gov/servlet/tarr?regser=serial&amp;entry=77120123">Crysis Wars</a>" and "<a href="http://tarr.uspto.gov/servlet/tarr?regser=serial&amp;entry=77120140">World in Crysis</a>." Whatever the inevitable sequel/spin-off/port/expansion ends up being called, we just hope they cap the system requirements now. That way, we may actually have <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/09/crysis-pc-requirements-a-new-pc/">a computer that can actually run the game in its most beautiful detail</a> when it eventually comes out.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/11/trademark-hints-at-crysis-warhead-sequel/">Crytek trademarks 'Crysis Warhead'</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 11 Mar 2008 19:30:00 EST. Furthermore, on Christmas Day, they'll drop cult-favorite and this blogger's most anticipated VC title, <em>Toe Jam &amp; Earl</em>. Awesome.<br /><br />From Hudson, their website left the internet-at-large with this little clue:<br /><strong></strong><em><br />WHICH GAME COMES NEXT? This one is a doosy. Truly a classic. Here's your first clue:<br /><br />VGCE0590PG46<br /><br />Yes, I know. that's freakin cryptic. If no one can figure it out, I may drop another clue tomorrow.<br /><br />Good luck!<br /><br /></em>Brilliant minds came together, formulas were solved, chemicals were mixed, and lo, the secret was revealed. VGCE0590PG46 stands for <em>Video Game and Computer Entertainment</em>, May 1990, Page 46. Dig up a couple of old magazine scans, and <em>voil&agrave;! </em>The game is <em>Military Madness</em>, a turn-based strategy game with a fairly large following.<br /><br />Couldn't they have just told us right out?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/12/14/upcoming-vc-releases/">Upcoming VC releases</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 14 Dec 2006 08:00:00 EST.
