But if, for some reason, you do end up buying the last-generation console as the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/09/13/wii-u-north-america-launch-date-price/">new one arrives</a>, you could do worse than the two new bundles revealed today, which will be in North American stores on Nov. 4.<br /><br />A $129.99 bundle replaces the <em>Wii Sports</em> pack-ins with <em>Just Dance 4</em>. For $20 more, there's the blue Wii with a copy of <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/skylanders-giants"><em>Skylanders Giants</em></a>, the Portal of Power peripheral, two figures and an exclusive Giant Skylander. Oh ... no. Someone's going to spend $150 on that Wii bundle just for the exclusive figure. That's going to happen.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/nintendo-wii-2012-holiday-bundles/">Nintendo Wii 2012 Holiday Bundles</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/nintendo-wii-2012-holiday-bundles/#5384552"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/10/wiijd4bundle_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/nintendo-wii-2012-holiday-bundles/#5384553"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/10/wiisgbundle_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/24/just-dance-4-skylanders-giants-wii-bundles-available-in-novembe/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Just Dance 4, Skylanders Giants Wii bundles available in November</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/24/just-dance-4-skylanders-giants-wii-bundles-available-in-novembe/">Just Dance 4, Skylanders Giants Wii bundles available in November</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 24 Oct 2012 10:30:00 EST. Just in case you were worried that there weren't quite enough Xbox 360 bundles to choose from, it looks like Microsoft has another one headed down the pike. The bundle in question includes a 250GB Xbox 360 S console as well as <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/alan-wake"><em>Alan Wake</em></a> and the eternal pack-in, <em>Forza Motorsport 3</em>. The image above -- pulled directly from one of Microsoft's retailer resource services -- is denoted as a Canadian bundle.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2010/10/12/xbox-360-holiday-bundle-includes-forza-motorsport-3-and-alan-wake-in-korea/">Siliconera</a> also reports that the bundle has been announced for South Korea at a price of 398,000 won ($356). A tipster has informed <a href="http://kotaku.com/5664546/250gb-xbox-will-include-forza-alan-wake">Kotaku</a> that the bundle is available in Europe as well, retailing for &euro;250 ($348). We've contacted Microsoft to find out if the bundle is coming stateside as well.<br />
<br />
One intriguing note about the bundle: It doesn't actually include a physical copy of <em>Alan Wake</em>, instead offering a code to download the game in its entirety (see a close-up image in the gallery below). While it's likely to be a Games on Demand title in the near future, it's also worth noting that Remedy has <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/18/episodic-alan-wake-release-would-be-interesting-expe/">expressed interest</a> in releasing the game in downloadable episodes, <em>a la </em><em>Fable 2</em>.<br />

<div align="left">News coming out of the Tokyo Game Show is Microsoft's <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/community/news/2008/1008-holidaybundles.htm">announcement</a> of the once <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/07/rumor-xbox-360-holiday-bundles-to-include-family-friendly-games/">rumored</a> Xbox 360 holiday bundles that'll be releasing to retail this month. And note that all 360 console SKUs come with at least one free game.<br /></div>
</div>
<br />The $199 Xbox 360 Arcade holiday bundle comes with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/sega-superstars-tennis"><em>SEGA Superstars Tennis</em></a> and both the $299 Xbox 360 Pro and $399 Xbox 360 Elite consoles come bundled with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/lego-indiana-jones"><em>LEGO Indiana Jones</em></a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/kung-fu-panda"><em>Kung Fu Panda</em></a> this holiday season. Also, after sniffing through press materials, we spotted holiday <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/xbox-360-holiday-08-bundles/1087281/full/">box stickers</a> and they mention a free Netflix trial. You know, because <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/netflix">Netflix</a> is doing that whole 360 streaming thing.<br /><br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/09/ms-announces-holiday-bundles-free-netflix-trial/">MS announces holiday bundles, free Netflix trial</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 09 Oct 2008 10:15:00 EST. <div align="left"><strong>Update:</strong> Swedish retailer Webhallen.com has the rumored <a href="http://www.webhallen.com/prod.php?id=91845">Arcade</a>, <a href="http://www.webhallen.com/prod.php?id=91847">Pro</a> and <a href="http://www.webhallen.com/prod.php?id=91846">Elite</a> holiday bundles for sale and pictured on their site. It's more proof, but we still have no "official" word from Microsoft. Thanks Dirty Whirlwind.<br /><br />Just as was done <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/13/360-holiday-bundles-to-include-mua-and-forza-2/">last year</a>, Microsoft may be looking to release special Xbox 360 packages that are bundled with a few free games to entice holiday console purchasers. And according to our insider Gamestop tipster, this holiday Microsoft will be bundling family friendly games with all three major 360 consoles.<br /></div>
</div>
<br />We've been informed that the Xbox 360 Arcade model will come packaged with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/sega-superstar-tennis"><em>SEGA Superstar Tennis</em></a> and both the Pro and Elite models will come bundled with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/kung-fu-panda"><em>Kung Fu Panda</em></a> and <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/lego-indiana-jones">LEGO Indiana Jones</a></em>. Sadly, we don't have any picture proof of the new bundles or a solid release date, but we'll keep digging to see whether or not the holiday game bundling is legit. For now, we advise being optimistically skeptical.<br /><br />[Thanks, Travisto]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/07/rumor-xbox-360-holiday-bundles-to-include-family-friendly-games/">Rumor: Xbox 360 holiday bundles to include family friendly games [update]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 07 Oct 2008 09:45:00 EST. This of course directly relates to the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/27/rumor-2-new-360-bundles-for-the-holidays/">bundle rumors</a> we've been hearing new console SKUs hitting store shelves in time for holiday fun. So, if we were the betting types, we'd be on the lookout for some <em>Forza 2</em> / <em>Marvel Ultimate Alliance</em> bundle action later this month with the Arcade 360 possibly kicking the Core to the curb. Holiday bundles FTW!<br /><br />[Thanks, Jill]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/01/evidence-of-new-xbox-360-holiday-bundles/">Evidence of new Xbox 360 holiday bundles</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 01 Oct 2007 10:30:00 EST.
