No, the Wii isn't getting bigger (unless you're <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/30/wii-warm-up-once-it-was-small/">buying a lot of peripherals</a>!) -- the Hulk has taken it over! This hand-painted system is both random and spectacular; random because, well, we don't really think of the gigantic <em>Hulk</em> and <em>Wii</em> together that often, and spectacular because ... you did <em>see</em> it, right? At the moment, the modded Wii is bidless on eBay, but we expect that will change directly. A portion of the sale price will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, too, so you can feel good about Hulking out.<br /><br />Oh, and, uh ... you get <em>The Incredible Hulk</em> game as a bonus. Y'know. In case you really just want that instead.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/01/wii-hulks-out-for-charity/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Wii Hulks out for charity</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/01/wii-hulks-out-for-charity/">Wii Hulks out for charity</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 01 Jul 2008 09:30:00 EST. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/02/wii-releases-this-week-lego-indiana-jones-edition/">This week's releases</a> only show one title that we're particularly interested in (hint: it's pictured in the post above), but that's not to say other notable titles aren't releasing. Some of you have been following <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/14/the-hulk-bashes-his-way-onto-the-wii/"><em>The Incredible Hulk</em></a>, we're sure, as its promise to let you destroy tons of stuff will be enough to get you on board. Actually, reading that last sentence, we're kind of interested, too.<br /><br />Anywho, what will you be playing this weekend? Going to pick up <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/04/producer-hints-at-lego-indiana-jones-sequel/"><em>LEGO Indiana Jones</em></a>? Going to pick something else up, perhaps a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/category/wiiware">WiiWare</a> game? What are you playing?<br /><br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/06/wrup-indiana-was-the-dogs-name-edition/">WRUP: 'Indiana was the dog's name' edition</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 06 Jun 2008 13:15:00 EST. <div align="left">It's finally here kids. Yes, it's the granddaddy of all <a href="http://www.realultimatepower.net/">ninja</a> simulators, <em>Ninja Gaiden</em>. This particular entry in the series is somewhat anachronistically titled <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/ninja-gaiden-2"><em>Ninja Gaiden II</em></a>. We can tell you unreservedly (<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/30/x3f-tv-x3f-impressions-ninja-gaiden-ii-demo/">and from experience)</a> that it is glorious in execution. It's also goriest in executions. Eviscerations abound as gamers take on the role of Ryu Hayabusa, the superest of all super ninjas. But wait, what's that? There are <em>more</em> games shipping this week <em>and</em> they don't all suck? Whoa. Imagine our surprise. Behold this week's list:<br />

Most of this week's releases are movie-tie-ins, so if that's your kind of thing, then prepared to be very happy. For most of us, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/15/new-lego-indy-trailer-is-chock-full-of-the-right-stuff/"><em>LEGO Indiana Jones</em></a> is going to be the hot item available on store shelves. Anyone picking this up? Anxious to see how Traveller's Tales have added <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/29/piecing-together-more-indy-with-new-screens/">their hilarious spin</a> on the first three <em>Indiana Jones</em> movies?<br />

Previous screens didn't show much else besides the Hulk himself, but these showcase the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/incredible-hulk-screens/789989/">Abomination</a>, New York and the graphics engine. Other than the screens, it was revealed that GameStop has some sort of exclusive in their package. The description on <a href="http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?Product%5FID=68667">their website</a> describes it as "Gamestop Exclusive Red Hulk" but who knows what that really means, as that description could apply to almost anything. So if you're going to buy the game from GameStop, be aware, you could be be getting everything from a skin to a sticker to an action figure. <br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/incredible-hulk-screens/">Incredible Hulk Screens</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/incredible-hulk-screens/#789992"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/xbox.joystiq.com/media/2008/05/2468969990_82e4800ba5_o_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/incredible-hulk-screens/#789991"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/xbox.joystiq.com/media/2008/05/2468969802_6aa8fb4413_o_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/incredible-hulk-screens/#789990"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/xbox.joystiq.com/media/2008/05/2468969752_7f3c673ac4_o_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/incredible-hulk-screens/#789989"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/xbox.joystiq.com/media/2008/05/2468969706_e6403eb253_o_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/incredible-hulk-screens/#789988"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/xbox.joystiq.com/media/2008/05/2468147469_01767840d1_o_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/05/hulk-screens-gamestop-gets-exclusive/">Hulk screens, Gamestop gets exclusive</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 05 May 2008 22:00:00 EST. Well, what more is there to say about these screens of the upcoming <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/IncredibleHulk/">Incredible Hulk</a></em> movie-game other than <em>The Hulk</em> is in them. They don't look especially good and considering the team that brought us Ultimate Destruction is busy doing their <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/prototype">own thing</a> and back catalog of developer Edge of Reality consists of the <em>Over the Hedge</em> and <em>Shark Tale</em> game adaptations, we're definitely sticking with the comment that these screens have <em>The Hulk</em> in them. 'Nuff said. <br />

And for <em>Hulk </em>purists, you don't have to worry. SEGA didn't switch up anything too drastically seeing that it's one of those ever popular film based games. You'll still be playing a green Hulk, you'll still be strong, you'll still break stuff and you'll still be angry. Very Hulk-like, no? Watch the trailer, decide if you enjoy what you see and, while you're at it, garner an opinion for the film as well. Personally, we're giving both the movie and the game a "meh" and will be focusing our video game destruction appetite towards <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/prototype"><em>Prototype</em></a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/30/video-the-incredible-hulk-breaks-stuff/">Video: The Incredible Hulk breaks stuff</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 30 Mar 2008 07:45:00 EST. Well, <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/player/32352.html?r=1&amp;type=wmv">after watching this debut trailer</a> for <em>The Incredible Hulk</em>, we'll see your groan, and raise you an extremely disappointed sigh.<br /><br /> Throwing <a href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=rT4ttppTkVs"><em>Ultimate Destruction</em>'s havoc-wreaking formula</a> to the wind, the adaptation will apparently focus on our favorite lesser-known pastimes of the green meanie: moving very slowly, getting repeatedly knocked over, and being stomped on by robots. If this trailer is any indication of what we can expect from the final product, we think we'd rather spend $60 to have <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lou_Ferrigno">Lou Ferrigno pummel us</a> for a few hours. It would be much less painful, and he could probably use the cash.<br /><br />(We're joking, of course. We love you, Lou. The <em>Incredible Hulk</em> video game is coming to every system and their mother, with the exception of the PSP. While the DS might not be your first system of choice for a title like this, those of you who prefer handheld versions of games might be looking forward to this release.<br /><br />Maybe we're just jaded, but we don't have high hopes for <em>The Incredible Hulk</em>. Video games that are based on movies that are based on comic books are usually mediocre, at best. Still, those of you who love Bruce Banner and his big, green alter ego might find this game hard to resist.<br /><br />One thing that sounds fun about this title is that you can pick up objects around you (like cars) and use them as weapons. The press release also boasts an "open-world representation of Manhattan," but we wouldn't be surprised if the open-world feature was cut from the DS version in favor of a more linear game.<br /><br />You can expect<em> The Incredible Hulk</em> to hit stores in June 2008, right around the movie's release.<br /><br />[Via GamesPress press release]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/13/sega-brings-the-incredible-hulk-to-the-incredible-ds/">Sega brings the Incredible Hulk to the incredible DS</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 13 Mar 2008 17:00:00 EST.
