Trip Fate</em> didn't give you a clear enough idea about the game, you'll be able to try it yourself at no cost on November 22. That's when Nintendo of America brings back last year's WiiWare demo program.<br />
<br />
Next Monday, in addition to <em>Fate</em>, you'll be able to download demos for <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/thruspace">ThruSpace</a></em>, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/jett-rocket">Jett Rocket</a></em>, and <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/and-yet-it-moves">And Yet It Moves</a></em>. Like the new demo program in Europe, these demos will only be available for a limited time, and will be rotated out regularly. That means that you should download every demo that you see, just in case you decide you want to try it out later. Or is that just us?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/18/wiiware-demo/">Nintendo tries WiiWare demos again in North America Nov. 22</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 18 Nov 2010 11:00:00 EST. Even more frustrating is that Nintendo did <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/03/nintendo-planning-to-offer-wiiware-demos/">offer</a> a series of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/16/nintendoware-weekly-wiiware-demos-pokemon-rumble-indiana-jone/">demos</a> last year, but made it a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/10/nintendo-wiiware-demo-program-was-always-limited-time-offer/">limited-time initiative</a> for no good reason, going so far as to remove the few demos that were available. <br />
<br />
Nintendo of Europe announced that the demo program is returning this Friday, November 5. Encouragingly, it's referred to as an "ongoing" demo program, suggesting that the whole thing won't disappear in a month. However, the individual demos <em>will</em> be rotated out regularly, which is back to being a bit frustrating. The latest demos will be listed <a href="http://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/systems/wiiware_8343.html">here</a> after the program starts up.<br />
<br />
The first set of demos includes <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/furry-legends"><em>Furry Legends</em></a><em>, </em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/jett-rocket"><em>Jett Rocket</em></a><em>, </em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/10/18/nintendoware-weekly-final-fantasy-mystic-quest-thruspace/"><em>ThruSpace</em></a>, and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/29/zombie-panic-hits-wonderland-and-north-america-this-monday/"><em>Zombie Panic in Wonderland</em></a>. We're checking with Nintendo of America about the prospect of a similar program here.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/03/wiiware-demos-return-this-week-in-europe/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>WiiWare demos return this week in Europe</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/03/wiiware-demos-return-this-week-in-europe/">WiiWare demos return this week in Europe</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 03 Nov 2010 05:00:00 EST. Even if not, we don't <em>think</em> this constitutes a spoiler: the ending provides a pretty strong hint that developer Shin'en is planning a sequel. How strong? "To be continued in <em>Jett Rocket 2</em>."<br />
<br />
Shin'en is probably hard at work adding <em>extreme</em> new vehicles and new areas of the planet Yoroppa right now. The developer can't know yet if the game sold well enough to justify a sequel (because it's been out for a day). <em>Pong Toss</em> achieved sufficient sales for a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/pong-toss-pro">sequel</a>, so it's entirely possible. Actually, if there are two games about throwing ping-pong balls into plastic cups, we're going to go ahead and say that <em>anything</em> is possible.<br type="_moz" /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/30/jett-rocket-ending-announces-jett-rocket-2/">Jett Rocket ending announces Jett Rocket 2</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 30 Jun 2010 10:30:00 EST. It's kind of hard to believe. It's even a Mario game -- a Mario sports game, but a Mario game nonetheless.<br />
<br />
Meanwhile, WiiWare hosts a <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/jett-rocket">3D platformer</a> that appears very Mario-like, and DSiWare introduces North America to <em>Maestro</em>, a musical platforming game that was only released in Europe in its full cartridge incarnation.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/28/nintendoware-weekly-mario-tennis-jett-rocket-maestro/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>NintendoWare Weekly: Mario Tennis, Jett Rocket, Maestro</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/28/nintendoware-weekly-mario-tennis-jett-rocket-maestro/">NintendoWare Weekly: Mario Tennis, Jett Rocket, Maestro</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 28 Jun 2010 09:55:00 EST. Let's just get this out of the way: Wow, this looks nice for a WiiWare game. We're kind of amazed by how nice the environments and the lighting effects look! It seems like there are plenty of interesting elements (or gimmicks) in the levels, as well. Oh, not to mention that the protagonist has a jetpack.<br />
<br />
Shin'en has yet to date the platformer. We're certain we don't have to say this, but we would warn the developer to avoid releasing a 3D platformer in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/super-mario-galaxy-2">May</a>.<br />

It looks impressive, with graphics that recall <em>Super Mario Galaxy</em>.<br />
<br />
With a name like Jett Rocket, you'd expect some kind of powered vehicles, and the game features three: a paraglider, a "Jet Boat," and a "Jet Snowboard."
