Ace Attorney 5 will be released July 25 in Japan, with a special edition containing a Phoenix Wright figurine (to scale with the Edgeworth figurine released alongside the sorely missed Ace Attorney Investigations 2), a 3DS case patterned after the colors of Phoenix's suit, and as yet unrevealed decorative stickers with chibi characters on them.

Various permutations of the special bundle omit the figure and/or case; it's almost certain that none of these bundles will ever make it out of Japan. However, we were able to import this new trailer just fine!

We'll note that, in an unfortunate coincidence, the trailer begins with an animated sequence depicting a bomb going off.

This trailer not only confirms Project X Zone's June 25 release date, but the names of a lot of different attacks in the Sega/Capcom strategy RPG, thanks to some lovely subtitles added to the western release.

Launch copies of Project X Zone will be released as "Limited" editions at the normal $40 price, with a "mini-art book," a poster, and a music CD, all trying to encapsulate the horde of recognizable characters.

In actuality, only production of the Neo Geo X Gold Limited Edition model has ceased, which was always part of the plan. You know, it being a Limited Edition product and everything.

"Tommo will be continuing to support the NEOGEO X format going forward with more games, peripherals and software updates, as well as more units of the console hardware," Tommo told Engadget. "The NEOGEO X Gold System Limited Edition Collection Series that includes Ninja Masters, was always planned to be a limited edition product."

Further elaborations were not made concerning what said games and peripherals might be. Considering that the original Neo Geo AES didn't really have peripherals though, save for a memory card and an adapter that let the AES play arcade cabinet cartridges, we're curious about what Tommo might come up with.

You know how they make those designer jeans that look like you've owned 'em for 30 years, despite being brand new and insanely expensive? Well, this is like that, but for an Xbox 360.

Launching in March, the official Tomb Raider Limited Edition Wireless Controller will cost $60 and come bundled with a code for exclusive character DLC; a hooded, goggled archer that can be seen in the video above. The controller itself features multiple layers of paint and laser etching, so not only does it look beat to hell but it'll feel that way too.

As per usual with special edition Xbox 360 pads, it's also equipped with one of those nifty transforming D-pads, though whether the D-pad has been artificially aged like a too-expensive guitar replica is unknown.

We're not sure if y'all are aware of this, but Valentine's Day works way, way differently in Japan than it does here. Boys traditionally don't give Valentines to girls, for instance; women are the primary gift-givers, and generally speaking giving anything other than chocolate is atypical.

There's also two new Lollipop Chainsaw special editions coming out exclusively in Japan this Valentine's Day, but that's less of a cultural difference and more of a marketing thing. The game's new "Premium Edition" will cost ¥3,980 (about $48) and will include codes to unlock costumes and additional character voices.

Meanwhile, the ¥4,980 ($60ish) "Valentine Edition" includes a "Happy Valentine Disc," which contains a PC desktop Juliet clock, wallpapers and various gravure pictures of the game's official cosplay models. It also comes with a "Premium Movie Disc" full of trailers and cinematics, as well as a Lollipop Chainsaw manga and the Premium Edition's unlock codes.

No word yet on a potential North American release of either version, but we have learned that the Japanese phrase "義理チョコ" (giri-choko) means "obligatory gift chocolate," which is probably more entertaining in the long run.

Halo 4's online multiplayer components will feature a new way to differentiate your own Spartan from those used by the other seasoned warriors you'll be battling with over Xbox Live. Dubbed "Specializations" and available after reaching Level 50, Halo 4's version of character classes each feature nine levels of various unlockable cosmetic upgrades (outfits, armor and weapon skins, etc), capped off by a final tenth level that grants a class-specific ability.

There are eight different Specializations in total, two of which will be available to everyone as soon as the game launches on November 6: Wetworks, which allows the use of Promethean Vision without the usual drawbacks, as well as a quieter sprint, and Pioneer, which gains XP at an accelerated rate, provided that perk is active.

The other six Specializations (Engineer, Tracker, Rogue, Stalker, Patherfinder and Operator) will be gradually made available to players post launch, unless they preorder the Halo 4 Limited Edition, in which case all eight classes will be available from day one. Now, when we say limited edition, we mean exceedingly limited edition: Mad Catz is only manufacturing 600 of these arcade sticks in total - 300 for each system. While the parts used in the stick are not explicitly broken down, the fact that it's part of the manufacturer's Fightstick Pro line implies heavy usage of Sanwa Denshi buttons and sticks.

For all intents and purposes, the limited edition joint appears to be a translucent purple version of Mad Catz's Street Fighter X Tekken stick, and at $159.99 it costs about the same as well. Pre-orders are now active at Mad Catz's GameShark shop.

Just in time for Independence Day, Ubisoft has offered up a way to show a little national pride, Assassin's Creed 3 style. The company has announced the Assassin's Creed 3 Limited Edition, which will retail for $119.99 and come with extra goods, including a huge 24" by 48" Assassin's Creed-inspired colonial American flag. Ubisoft sent a flag fitting this description to the press last week, and we've placed a picture of it after the break. (see update)

There's also a 9.44" statue of new assassin Connor, and a metal belt buckle, presumably used for holding up your pants while carrying out cold-blooded murders. The Limited Edition is an exclusive to retailers in North America and Latin America, so Europeans are out of luck on this one.

There's also a Digital Deluxe Edition available straight from Ubisoft for the PC. For $64.99 you'll get a notebook featuring "George Washington's true story" (we hope wooden teeth are involved), three extra single-player missions, two extra in-game outfits, and an Assassin's Creed soundtrack collection.

Nuketown 2025 is apparently a remodeled version of the popular Black Ops map, Nuketown.

Each image suggests there will be a "limited edition pack" of Black Ops 2, which we assume is akin to the first pressing limited edition runs we've seen for games like Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Twisted Metal. We've inquired with Activision and will update accordingly.

Unfortunately for us outside Japan, there won't be a lot of opportunity to actually purchase the unit. That kind of goes for the folks in Japan as well, as the only way to even have a chance to purchase the unit is by winning a raffle offered by Konami in February. The bundle will run ¥22,980 ($298) for those lucky enough to grab one, and it'll come with the game itself, the fancy 3DS, a "snake-styled" 3DS, and two ... folders. When I was young, I really liked Jurassic Park. Of the many, many JP toys I owned (I still have one of these), I remember one T-shirt in particular. On the front was a sweet raptor, and on the back was a map of Jurassic Park, including the locations of its dinosaurs. I spent weeks meticulously recreating said map, literally pixel by pixel, using Microsoft Paint - we didn't have Minecraft back then, and if we had, our computer wouldn't have been able to run it.

And now Telltale goes and announces a Deluxe Edition of Jurassic Park: The Game for Mac and PC. The package is a veritable cornucopia of Jurassic Park memorabilia, including an InGen ID badge and field guide, a Jurassic Park staff patch and, best of all, a replica brochure from the movie including the map. The package can be pre-ordered for $40.

But the point I'm trying to make is that someone at Telltale has either been tailing me for 18 years or, in a far more likely scenario, they found a Being John Malkovich door into my head. Get out, Telltale. Get out of my head.

On Twitter, Producer Katsuhiro Harada revealed the limited edition package for Tekken Hybrid, including the standard edition, an artbook, and the soundtrack, in a much bigger box. Harada specifies that "PSN contents" will also be included, and that the soundtrack consists of two discs. Official pricing details haven't been announced, but Amazon says $59.99, a $20 premium over the standard edition.

And now Konami is adding some cosmetic enhancements to the packaging, as well, at least for those willing to splash out a little more.

The HD Collection will be available in a Limited Edition, with new box art by series artist Yoji Shinkawa and an exclusive art book. No pricing details have been announced -- but, then, no pricing details for the standard retail or downloadable versions have been announced either. So whatever the standard one costs, this one will cost a little more than that.

Like buying games brand new? EA sure wants you to, as its "Limited Edition" of Need for Speed: The Run incentivizes just such a purchase with the bonus inclusion of three fancy sports cars -- for the same price as the regular ol' "normal" edition, no less. Along with special access to a Porsche 911 Carrera S, a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and a Lamborghini Aventador, picking up the "Limited Edition" nets you "five exclusive Challenges" to slay with your high-powered sports car of choice.

The only version of the Limited Edition that we can spot thus far is on EA's own Origin PC download store for the totally-normal-edition price of $49.99, so it stands to reason that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions are similarly priced ($59.99 on consoles). Just to be sure, we've asked EA for a better idea of what to expect, price-wise, come November.

Update: EA clarified that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions will cost the standard $59.99, and the "Limited Edition" will operate similarly to the "Limited Edition" version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

As far as the cars go, the "VIP Pack" grants 5 of the world's fastest and least pronounceable cars, including the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera and the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. Your garage will also come stocked with 10 of history's "best classic American muscle cars," although those vehicles have yet to be specifically named. You'll also land the previously announced "Ship Bonus" pack, as well as an unknown number of customized BMW whips that will also be available as day-one DLC.

Cars of Forza Motorsport 4 Presented by Top Gear is a 96-page gallery of auto-erotica, highlighting the game's many vehicles via images from Top Gear's "extensive" collection and color commentary from the publication's editors. This mirror's the game's Autovista mode, where Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson says (presumably) hilarious and British things about cars. No pricing information has been given, but we assume it'll probably still be cheaper than buying an actual Koenigsegg.

The UK will get the "Physical Warfare" version for the same price as the regular edition, which includes a small arsenal of weaponry, as well as access to the "Back to Karkand" multiplayer expansion -- four remade maps from Battlefield 2.

As this edition has only been announced for the UK thus far, it can only be ordered from GAME and GameStation for now, running the standard £39.99 on 360/PS3 and £34.99 on PC. That said, when EA initially confirmed the "Back to Karkand" expansion, DICE community manager Daniel Matros noted that it would be available worldwide via an in-box code.
