<br />
In these belt-tightening, penny-pinching times, it literally pays to have a nose for the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/category/sales/">bargains</a>. That's where we, or rather Gamefly, comes in. The game rental outfit has a broad selection of <em>used</em> Wii software for low, world banking crisis-friendly prices, and we chose ten of the best sub-$20 games to tempt you. Thar be bargains ahead!<br />
<ul>
    <li><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/18/wii-fanboy-review-baroque/"><em>Baroque</em></a> for $12.99</li>

</ul>
There's actually a ton more we <em>could</em> have mentioned, including <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/25/the-king-of-super-mario-galaxy-shirts/"><em>Super Mario Galaxy</em></a> for $32.99, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/07/metareview-smash-bros-brawl/"><em>Super Smash Bros. Sadly, "One hundred and fifty-eight for under forty-two" just doesn't work as a headline. Hit up the "Source" link for the full set.<br />

<br />If you've managed to get this far in your internet life without running into Goatse, congratulations! Do yourself a favor and keep it that way -- trust us on this one.<br /><br />It has been months since Chinese accessory manufacturers last entertained us with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/22/trauma-center-kit-an-actual-product-that-somebody-is-selling/">inane</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/11/07/another-day-another-crazy-wii-peripheral/">Wii</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/26/more-wiimote-extensions-for-the-imagination-impaired/">remote</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/25/because-playing-table-tennis-with-a-fake-racquet-attachment-woul/">attachments</a>; we were beginning to fear that they had run out of wacky ideas! But here comes the Ball Bearing Maze Special Salver [sic] to cure our accessory doldrums!<br /><br />With this handy, Kororinpa-branded product, all you need to do is drop your remote into that center compartment, and you'll have more exciting, immersive experience playing marble/labyrinthine games such as <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/search/?q=kororinpa&amp;searchsubmit=">Kororinpa: Marble Mania</a></em> and, uh, that's it. Similarly designed games like <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/supermonkeyball">Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz</a></em>, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/search/?q=mercury+meltdown&amp;searchsubmit=">Mercury Meltdown Revolution</a></em>, and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/dewysadventure"><em>Dewy's Adventure</em></a> all require easy access to the controller's buttons, so this accessory wouldn't work well with those.<br /><br />Couple that limited support with the Maze Special Salver's pricing, $27.99 plus shipping/handling, and this attachment looks almost as unattractive as the terrible image its design alludes to. You would be better off taping your remote to a cafeteria tray!<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://gonintendo.com/?p=48527">Go Nintendo</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/04/marble-game-accessory-modeled-after-goatse/">Marble game accessory modeled after Goatse</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 04 Jul 2008 22:30:00 EST. <br />Is <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/12/14/mercury-still-making-its-way-to-wii/"><span style="font-style: italic;">Mercury Meltdown Revolution</span></a> a part of your Wii collection? If not, it absolutely <span style="font-style: italic;">should </span>be, for Ignition's addictive puzzler must be one of the most criminally overlooked gems on the platform. And now Costco has it for <span style="font-style: italic;">$10.99</span>, along with a bunch of other titles that range from pretty damn good to shovelware (oh, hai <span style="font-style: italic;">Pool Party</span>). <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/16/angelina-jolie-buys-ghost-squad-promotes-violence/">Angelina Jolie favorite</a> <span style="font-style: italic;">Ghost Squad</span> is also on sale, giving you a chance to knock terrorists from their speeding, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/10/ghost-squad-stands-out-from-the-crowd/">swan-shaped jet skis</a>, <span style="font-style: italic;">and</span> save money in the process. If a better offer has come along this <span style="font-style: italic;">century</span>, we've yet to see it.<br /><br />Below are the six titles that most stood out to us (the full list is past the jump); we expect at least two of these to be in your house by June 22nd, when the sale ends:<br />

Ignition Entertainment, publisher of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/MercuryMeltdown/"><em>Mercury Meltdown</em></a> and the adolescent undead romp <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/25/ignition-takes-on-zombie-genre-for-nintendo-ds/ "><em>Teenage Zombies</em></a>, today announced the opening of not one, but two new studios committed to so-called next-gen game development. <br /><br />The new studios will operate out of both Tokyo and Florida, and according to Ignition will focus on creating "new IP specifically for the next generation formats," but which formats exactly remain a mystery. In fact, no details about upcoming projects from either Ignition Tokyo or Florida have been announced, though in looking at the company's subsidiary Digi-Guys, which has been working on <em>WarDevil </em>since <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2004/12/03/a-glimpse-at-the-power-of-xbox-2/">well before the launch of the Xbox 360</a>, it's clear that these studios are not in a hurry.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/17/mercury-meltdown-pub-expands-promises-new-next-gen-ip/">Mercury Meltdown pub expands, promises new next-gen IP</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 17 Dec 2007 21:30:00 EST.
