Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 'Uprising' DLC rallies on PS3, PC May 16

Black Ops 2's Uprising DLC pack will be available on Windows PC and PS3 on May 16 for $14.99. The DLC has been available on Xbox 360 since April 16, as part of Microsoft's exclusivity deal with Activision.

Uprising includes four multiplayer maps: Magma, a Japanese village at the base of an erupting volcano; Encore, a vacated London music festival; Vertigo, a map atop an Indian skyscraper; and Studio, a modern remake of the original Black Ops map, Firing Range. In addition to the multiplayer maps, Uprising also includes the Mob of the Dead Zombies mode variant, where Hollywood stars Chazz Palminteri, Michael Madsen, Ray Liotta and Joe Pantoliano fight to survive waves of the undead while stuck on the island prison of Alcatraz during the Prohibition era.

Dishonored's voice cast full of honored Hollywood talent

Bethesda spent a lot of money on the voice cast for Dishonored - like, Susan Sarandon money. Her first video game role will be "Granny Rags," an "intriguing old blind woman now deranged after years of street life." We're sure an actress of Sarandon's caliber will be able to deliver on that "intriguing" character trait.

Other talent revealed today includes Brad Dourif, who's appeared in literally every movie and television show ever produced; Carrie Fisher, who plays the voice of ubiquitous government propaganda; John Slattery (aka Roger Sterling from Mad Men) who plays a smarmy rich guy - actually the specific role is "Admiral Havelock," but we're calling it right now; Chloe Grace Moretz as the kidnapped daughter of the Empress; and Lena Headey as her guardian. Michael Madsen, who you probably don't remember from his performance in the first Yakuza game, appears in Dishonored as an assassin.

Of all these names, we're most surprised with Fisher, mostly because she's not the Star Wars star we're used to seeing in games.

Yakuza nabs celebrities, takes their voices

What do Michael Madsen (Mr. Blonde), Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor from Smallville), Eliza Dushku, (Faith from Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Rachel Leigh Cook (She's All That), and Mark Hamill (uhh, Luke Skywalker) all have in common? Yup, none of them are Japanese and all of them are lending their voices in Sega's American-ization of their Japanese crime-game Ryu ga Gotoku, now Yakuza. Thing is, none of em are playing Kazuma, the title's lead.

For some more on the selection process, check out Gamespot's interview with Justin Lambros, the US producer. Hoping to keep the Japanese dialogue track for that authentic Ryu ga Gotoku feel? Tough luck, says Lambros, "We were hoping to include the Japanese dialogue as an alternate track, but unfortunately there just wasn't enough room on a single disc to put both sets of voice files."
