"But whether you seek answers, revenge, or reconciliation with your lost love, you may find more than you bargained for."<br />
<br />
Contrary to the marketing line, you'll likely find <em>less</em> than you bargained for in <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/25/dragon-age-origins-story-concluded-in-witch-hunt-dlc/">Dragon Age: Witch Hunt</a></em>, a disappointing and flimsy finale to the <em>Dragon Age: Origins</em> storyline. It's not a terrible chunk of content -- and it would have to do far worse before it could tarnish BioWare's other efforts in keeping the <em>Dragon Age</em> universe alive for almost a year now -- but the crucial failure to deliver a satisfying conclusion is hard to forget. We'll talk forgiveness later.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/08/dragon-age-witch-hunt-dlc-review/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Dragon Age: Witch Hunt DLC review: Build a bridge out of her</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/08/dragon-age-witch-hunt-dlc-review/">Dragon Age: Witch Hunt DLC review: Build a bridge out of her</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 08 Sep 2010 21:00:00 EST. And you thought they'd save this one for the sequel! BioWare has announced "Witch Hunt," a new <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/dragon-age-origins">Dragon Age: Origins</a></em> add-on that concludes the storyline and investigates the true motives of Morrigan, the sardonic witch known for delivering <em>sick burns</em> via verbal insult or fireball incantation. This will be of particular interest if you spent time, err, <em>investigating</em> Morrigan during the main quest. <br />
<br />
As BioWare puts it dramatically, "Her plans and her whereabouts have remained a mystery... until now." <br />
<br />
Well, until September 7, when you'll download <em>Witch Hunt</em> for $7 (or 560 MS/BioWare points) on PC, PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. The content will allow you to create a new, high-powered character or import your hero from <em>Dragon Age: Origins</em> and the <em>Awakening</em> expansion. "But whether you seek answers, revenge, or reconciliation with your lost love," BioWare warns, "you may find more than you bargained for."<br />
<br />
That's always nice when it comes to DLC, isn't it?<br />

Capcom has finally released some in-game shots of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/marvel-vs-capcom-3"><em>Marvel vs Capcom 3</em></a>. The screens are missing HUD elements, but that's fine -- we just wanted to see how the game would "<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/20/marvel-vs-capcom-3-fate-of-two-worlds-ps3-xbox-360-spring-2011/">blur the line between 2D and 3D graphics</a>." Frankly, we're surprised it doesn't look more like <em>Super Street Fighter IV</em>. And not a single <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZZUMjoxfZA">curleh mustache</a> in sight? <em>How will the fans react?</em><br />
<br />
Head into our gallery below to check out the new screens, which feature <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/marvel-vs-capcom-3-5-27-2010/full/#3018776">a Ryu vs Wolverine match-up</a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/marvel-vs-capcom-3-5-27-2010/full/#3018779">Iron Man shooting Morrigan <em>in the face</em></a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/marvel-vs-capcom-3-5-27-2010/full/#3018773">a trigger-happy Chris Redfield taking on The Hulk</a>. <br />

<br />Two new characters (<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/we-love-golf/809885/">here</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/we-love-golf/809874/">here</a>) have been revealed for those of us here in North America in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/capcom">Capcom's</a> upcoming golf title, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/02/we-think-well-love-we-love-golf/"><em>We Love Golf</em></a>. While it would appear one of those characters is Morrigan, from <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darkstalkers">the <em>Darkstalkers</em> games</a>, that's actually just a costume on one of the new characters (so we guess this is the result of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/18/ken-and-morrigan-to-love-golf/">that poll</a>?). There's also another costume that allows the other new character to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/we-love-golf/809880/">dress up as Ken</a>.<br /><br />Check out the new characters in our gallery below, which has been updated with over 20 new screens from the game.<br /><br /><br /><br />[Via press release]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/16/north-america-gets-exclusive-love-in-we-love-golf/">North America gets exclusive love in We Love Golf</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 16 May 2008 15:00:00 EST. If there's one thing to keep us interested in video game golf it's alternate costumes, followed closely by karate masters and top-heavy succubi. Thankfully, however, Capcom is giving us all three in its upcoming Wii exclusive <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/we-love-golf"><em>We Love Golf</em></a>, which will let players dress their golfers as either <em>Street Fighter</em> blondie Ken or <em>Darkstalkers </em>femme fatale Morrigan, among other familiar faces.<br /><br />While the pair's North American-exclusive inclusion in the game <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/13/we-love-golf-american-release-to-include-online-play/">was revealed</a> last March following the results of a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/12/vote-capcom-faves-into-we-love-golf/">reader poll</a>, Capcom took time today to send over some screens showing what we can expect when the duo hits the links on July 15. Check out the shots below, including what Capcom calls its "first African-American incarnation of Ken Masters." <em>Shoryuken</em>!<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/we-love-golf-5-16-08/">We Love Golf (5/16/08)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/we-love-golf-5-16-08/#810145"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/05/stephanie_bankershot01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/we-love-golf-5-16-08/#810144"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/05/mark_shot09_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/we-love-golf-5-16-08/#810143"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/05/mark_shot07_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/we-love-golf-5-16-08/#810142"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/05/mark_shot06_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/we-love-golf-5-16-08/#810141"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/05/mark_shot04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/16/ken-and-morrigan-shown-hitting-the-links-in-we-love-golf/">Ken and Morrigan shown hitting the links in We Love Golf</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 16 May 2008 14:12:00 EST. A week and a half on, and the people have spoken, voting for Ken (from, <em>duh</em>,<em> Street Fighter</em>) and Morrigan (from the <em>Darkstalker</em> series).<br /><br />Neither character exactly springs to mind when golf is mentioned, though we suppose that's precisely the point. Mind you, we fear Morrigan especially will struggle to fit in. Will that choice of hair color really fly with the stuffy golf establishment? And what of those demonic wings sprouting from the side of her head? She'll be a pariah within minutes of flapping into the clubhouse.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/18/ken-and-morrigan-to-love-golf/">Ken and Morrigan to love golf</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 18 Feb 2008 20:00:00 EST. You've perused the top ten women of tennis. You may even have seen the top ten girls of gaming, but you haven't yet seen the top ten girls of PSP. Until now that is! The requirements are simple, to qualify she has to be a girl and has to be in a PSP game. But enough with the procrastinating, on with the ceremony!</p>
