That's around the same time XSEED plans to bring the Namco Bandai title to North America.

Also in March, the publisher will release Rune Factory Frontier on Wii, and Avalon Code and My World My Way on DS. Before that, in February, Rising Star will release Half-Minute Hero on PSP, and, through "affiliate label" Gamebridge, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Way of the Samurai 3. While the DS Fanboy audience seems divided on Atlus's My World, My Way, we're feeling pretty positive about this one. Atlus has brought forth pleasing and ridiculous female leads before, and we always welcome the change of pace. The bits of dialogue we see here, and have seen before, look just a little predictable, but we're talking about Atlus here, so the end result will probably include a fine dose of hilarity. For now, we've got faith in weirdness.

My World, My Way was just dated -- expect it in early February.

Nintendo has graced us with their customary infodump of the next quarter's DS and Wii releases, and by far the biggest news in terms of guaranteed sales: Pokémon Platinum has finally been officially confirmed for North America (not that there was ever a speck of doubt), and it's indeed coming March 22. Statistically speaking, you will probably purchase it. Also in first-party news, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon hits February 16, a bit earlier than Circuit City predicted. Personal Trainer: Math will be Nintendo's first DS release of the year on January 12.

In third-party news, we're thrilled to see a January 6 release date for Retro Game Challenge -- except that according to the list, it'll be competing with Big Bang Mini. Atlus's My World, My Way is on its way February 3, with Legacy of Ys following on the 10th, and Trackmania on March 17.

GTA Chinatown Wars has yet to be dated in this release, but we know it's March 17. And Monster Band from DreamCatcher: could it be Music Monstars? Is that just for us?

Atlus has officially revealed the RPG, My World, My Way, that was previously spotted on the ESRB database. As suspected, it's a localized version of Global A's Sekai wa Atashi de Mawatteru (The World Revolves Around Me), and it sounds totally hilarious and great.

My World stars Elise, a princess who tries to impress a handsome adventurer by going out on her own adventure. Her greatest asset is her own selfishness: she can use "Pout Points" (seriously) to alter the environment, add and remove monsters, and change other aspects of the game to her advantage. She also has a slime pal who can mimic monster abilities!

This game looked interesting before, and now the Atlus Effect is totally working on it. This is aided by an actual, measurable Atlus effect: we can already tell from the website and the announcement email that the localization is really clever. We will be following it closely as it approaches its February release!

The ESRB has listed a rating for an unannounced Atlus game called My World, My Way. While this could be anything, Siliconera's Spencer conjectures that this is a localized version of Global A's Sekai wa Atashi de Mawatteru (The World Revolves around Me), an interesting RPG from earlier this year in which the player controls a "selfish princess" who alters the landscape in order to complete objectives.

Supporting the belief that this is the mystery game is the fact that just released another Global A DS game: Master of the Monster Lair was published in Japan by that company. We'd be happy if this turned out to be true, because we thought Sekai wa Atashi de Mawatteru looked really interesting, and, of course, having Atlus attached would only make it seem more so.

While we're on the subject of ESRB ratings, a few more DS titles caught our eye as interesting: Atari's The Chase: Felix Meets Felicity, which we totally don't know anything about, and the very cool My English Coach para hispanoparlantes.
