Nintendo brings another original, downloadable 3DS game to the eShop, inspiring ... not quite cautious optimism, but a cautious lessening of pessimism. Intelligent Systems' <em>Pushmo</em> is a puzzler about pulling stacked 3D blocks into and out of the screen to make climbing paths. It makes sense for a puzzle game on 3DS!<br />
<br />
On WiiWare, we finally have the opportunity to try out RedLynx's <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/motoheroz"><em>MotoHeroz</em></a> without paying $15 for the privilege.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pushmo-3ds-eshop/">Pushmo (3DS eShop)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pushmo-3ds-eshop/#4666511"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/12/i31857_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pushmo-3ds-eshop/#4666512"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/12/i31858_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pushmo-3ds-eshop/#4666513"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/12/i31859_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pushmo-3ds-eshop/#4666514"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/12/i31860_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pushmo-3ds-eshop/#4666515"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/12/i31861_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/08/nintendoware-weekly-pushmo/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>NintendoWare Weekly: Pushmo</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/08/nintendoware-weekly-pushmo/">NintendoWare Weekly: Pushmo</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 08 Dec 2011 12:25:00 EST. <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/crap-of-defense"><em>Crap of Defense</em></a> -- in spite of <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/crap-of-defense/id354661439?mt=8">declaring itself to be</a> the "worst game ever" -- is making the jump to pretty much every platform out there. Like the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/01/iphones-crap-of-defense-teased-for-psp-with-a-name-change/">PSP version</a>, the game is being re-branded as <em>Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder</em>, but will (presumably) feature the same sloppily drawn visuals and rather cheap-sounding audio. Like <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/angry-birds"><em>Angry Birds</em></a>, this game simply cannot be contained by the iPhone.<br />
<br />
Already available as a PSN Mini in Europe, the <a href="http://www.esrb.org/ratings/synopsis.jsp?Certificate=29756">ESRB</a> has rated additional versions of the game for DSi, Wii, Xbox 360 and PC. Considering the simplicity of the game, we're unsurprised by how quickly the developer has been able to make so many ports. Watch the distressingly cheap trailer for the iPhone original after the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/10/paper-wars-rated-for-dsi-wii-xbox-360-and-pc/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Paper Wars rated for DSi, Wii, Xbox 360 and PC</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/10/paper-wars-rated-for-dsi-wii-xbox-360-and-pc/">Paper Wars rated for DSi, Wii, Xbox 360 and PC</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 10 Sep 2010 11:40:00 EST. <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/crap-of-defense"><em>Crap of Defense</em></a> is an iPhone game that <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/crap-of-defense/id354661439?mt=8">declares itself to be</a> the "worst game ever," with sloppily drawn soldiers attempting to take a castle, and the player tasked with <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7w4LoGcKo5s">blowing them up with armaments and upgrades</a>. But apparently someone with the power to publish a PSP game thinks it's alright, because developer iFun4all recently sent us an email containing the above image, teasing a spitting-image PSP game called <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/paper-wars-cannon-fodder"><em>Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder</em></a>. <br />
<br />
There wasn't any further information included, but it's probably a safe guess that <em>Crap of Defense</em> got a port and a slightly less offensive name. There have been quite a few PSP games <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/09/29/puzzle-quest-spreads-to-iphone-appstore-this-fall/">ported across to the iPhone</a>, but looks like this is a case of cross-pollination the other way. We'll let you know when we hear more about what the game is like.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/01/iphones-crap-of-defense-teased-for-psp-with-a-name-change/">iPhone's Crap of Defense teased for PSP, with a name change</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 01 Jul 2010 04:30:00 EST.
