As <a href="http://www.officialnintendomagazine.co.uk/48874/pink-3ds-xl-release-date-may-in-the-uk/">Official Nintendo Magazine</a> reveals, it isn't the same as <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/02/12/pink-3ds-xl-returns-to-america-for-valentines-day/">the pink-and-white number</a> which recently re-toured North America.<br /><br />There's no word yet on other regions. While Nintendo recently announced the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/17/animal-crossing-3ds-xl-coming-to-north-america-and-europe/">Animal Crossing</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/14/pikachu-3ds-xl-sparks-into-north-america-on-march-24/">Pikachu</a> 3DS XLs for the west, for now, much like <a href="http://goodtoknow.media.ipcdigital.co.uk/111/000007612/2176_orh100000w614/queen16.jpg">one of the Queen's hats</a>, this particular portable is big, pink, and only in the UK.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/22/new-pink-3ds-xl-announced-for-uk-coming-next-month/">New Pink 3DS XL announced for UK, coming next month</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 22 Apr 2013 08:45:00 EST. Just in time for Valentine's Day, when the color pink overruns stores nationwide, Nintendo is bringing the pink 3DS XL back.<br /><br />According to a post on the company's Facebook page, it'l be out this week "at stores coast to coast." It would probably look really nice with a bouquet of roses. Next week's update is December 30 on Xbox 360, but due to the update schedules of other consoles, the hard partying will need to be fashionably late in January on Wii and PS3.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/12/28/rock-band-weekly-andrew-w-k-fun-p-nk-and-hot-chelle-rae/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Rock Band Weekly: Andrew W.K., Fun., P!nk and Hot Chelle Rae</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/12/28/rock-band-weekly-andrew-w-k-fun-p-nk-and-hot-chelle-rae/">Rock Band Weekly: Andrew W.K., Fun., P!nk and Hot Chelle Rae</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 28 Dec 2012 15:30:00 EST. The latest fashionable accessory available through the site: the pink and white 3DS XL. Gilt is the first retailer to offer this 3DS XL color in North America, bundling it with either <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/professor-layton-and-the-miracle-mask"><em>Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask</em></a> (which is currently sold out) or <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/style-savvy-trendsetters"><em>Style Savvy: Trendsetters</em></a> for $219.99, $20 less than buying the system and a game separately.<br /><br />Note that the bundles will arrive between November 26 and December 6, so don't buy it expecting to play <em>Style Savvy</em> right away; it'll show up fashionably late.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/11/02/pink-3ds-xl-debuts-through-gilt/">Pink 3DS XL debuts through Gilt</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 02 Nov 2012 15:00:00 EST. "Get the Party Started" comes off her <em>Missundaztood </em>album, while the other three songs are from her Grammy-nominated <em>Funhouse</em> album. Today, Nintendo announced that a standalone release for the Pearl Pink handheld will be offered Feb. 10, for $169.99. Of course, since the bundle was the same price, this isn't so much a cheaper option as it is <em>no free game</em>.<br /><br />In the announcement of the standalone release, Nintendo positions it as a Valentine's Day-themed item and suggests ways the 3DS can help sweethearts get closer, including snapping photos of dates with the camera (aww), bringing out each other's "sweet side" with a virtual puppy, playing <em>Pushmo</em> and <em>Freakyforms</em> (o... kay) and racing each other in <em>Mario Kart 7</em>. That last one is more likely to end a relationship than start one, we're afraid.<br /><br />The UK will also see a bundle-free release of the pink 3DS on Feb. 10, along with the Ice White model, which has yet to be released in North America in any form. Don't worry, we're sure it will.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/30/start-a-meaningful-relationship-with-a-pearl-pink-3ds-feb-10/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Start a meaningful relationship with a Pearl Pink 3DS Feb. 10</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/30/start-a-meaningful-relationship-with-a-pearl-pink-3ds-feb-10/">Start a meaningful relationship with a Pearl Pink 3DS Feb. 10</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 30 Jan 2012 11:30:00 EST. Because you're worth it, Sony is introducing the "Spring Blossom Pink" PSP to Japan this March. This &yen;16,800 ($183) model elegantly calls out, "easy, breezy <em>and beautiful</em>." Due to its soft effortless features, it's the type of PSP that will have commuters asking, "Maybe she's born with it?" <br />
<br />
If this latest PSP-3000 color does jet set across the pacific, we'd be shocked if it wasn't bundled with the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/24/new-hannah-montana-psp-bundle-includes-lilac-psp/">tween girl du jour</a>.<br />

A live version of Tom Petty &amp; The Heartbreakers' "Mary Jane's Last Dance" is available next week within the band's <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/rock-band-weekly"><span style="font-style: italic;">Rock Band</span> DLC</a> six-pack. The song may not be everyone's cup of formaldehyde, but it's certainly memorable for conjuring up one of the <a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x882c0_tom-petty-and-the-heartbreakers-mar_music">creepiest music videos <em>of all time</em></a>. We have no idea what the song is actually about, but it will always be the story of Tom Petty stealing Kim Basinger's corpse from the morgue, dressing her up, and then at the end .... AHHhhHhHHHH!<br />
<br />
Check out the full update after the break, no new <em>Rock Band Unplugged</em> DLC next week.<br />
<br />
<strong>Update</strong>: PSN will updated on Tuesday.<br />

Currently, no announcements have been made outside of Japan, but with the black Wiimote on the way to North America, and the black system and Classic Controller Pro announced for Europe today, it seems like only a matter of time before all Wiimote variants are available everywhere.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/20/see-the-wii-remote-in-pink-and-blue/">See the Wii Remote in pink and blue</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 20 Oct 2009 16:15:00 EST. After all, doesn't picking on the weak make us all feel a little better? So don't worry about today: we've got not one but TWO S's replaced with Z's! <br /><br /><h3>Pedigree</h3> Instead of talking about the developer and publisher, let's just take a long look at the title. It's in three parts. First: "Bratz," a franchise which has been criticized locally for allegedly attempting to sell sex to children. Abroad, things are even worse: "On December 21, 2006, the National Labor Committee announced that the factory workers in China, who make Bratz dolls, labor for 94.5 hours a week, while the factory pays only $0.515 an hour, $4.13 a day. The per doll amount is $0.17, much less than the Bratz dolls actually cost (from $20 to $40)." (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bratz#Labor_conditions">Wikipedia</a>). <br /><br /> And most important of all, let's not forget the last letter of the first word, a disgusting trait also shared with the second word: "Ponyz." When did the letter "S" become uncool? Did he totally say <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HN1ru6_u8lY">ohmigod</a> and she was all like "right?" Or did Z suddenly become incredibly popular? Did Z come skateboarding through space while wearing sunglasses and playing a hot pink electric guitar? That's <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HP4EPIXWFMU">still cool</a>, right? <br /><br /> Finally, we have the number 2 ... as if there were so many unanswered questions at the end of <em>Bratz Ponyz 1</em>. <p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/12/17/bury-the-shovelware-bratz-ponyz-2/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Bury the Shovelware: Bratz Ponyz 2</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/12/17/bury-the-shovelware-bratz-ponyz-2/">Bury the Shovelware: Bratz Ponyz 2</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 17 Dec 2008 13:00:00 EST. <br />While we're still waiting for that leopard skin Wiimote <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/strap/">wrist strap</a> of our <em>dreams</em>, Nintendo will shortly release green, blue, pink, and white straps in Japan. Other than helping to distinguish Wiimotes between multiplayer sessions, we can't really think of a compelling need for these non-threatening, pastel accessories, but perhaps they're a sign that matching controllers are on the way? That's probably a long shot, but it would be nice.<br /><br />For those of you with an interest in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/category/imports/">importing</a>, these are scheduled to appear next month for &yen;300 ($2.80) each, or you can snag the four-pack above for &yen;1,000 ($9.25). But, some are more brave than us, taking the responsibility of maintaining the integrity of their precious handheld upon themselves.<br /><br />Enter flickr user shalf, who has a daughter that broke the power switch on her pink DS Lite. Like a good dad, he isn't going to make her wait for the time it takes to ship the handheld to Nintendo and get it back repaired, he's done it himself! And, thankfully, he's taken tons of pictures and placed them on his flickr page for all to see. Hopefully, some of you out there thinking about taking apart your DS Lite can learn a thing or two from his efforts.<br /> <br />

Now, we know nothing of traditional Indian weddings (which we're assuming this is, also we know nothing of <em>plain old regular weddings</em>, either), but we do know about <em>getting our game on</em>. Honestly, we're just surprised that everyone is all smiles as she plays away on her sweet pink DS Lite. We thought weddings were supposed to be <em>ultra serious</em> and that they left no room for enjoying games. Shows what we know!<br /><br />Even our own <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/bloggers/eric-caoili">Eric Caoili</a> admits to enjoying his DS a bit before his own wedding. He remarks that he was playing some <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/search/?q=mr+driller"><em>Mr. Driller</em></a> minutes before it all went down. We congratulate him on both playing an <em>awesome</em> game and having the guts to possibly anger the bride-to-be on their wedding day. The man has courage, we'll give him that! But, then again, we're sure that she couldn't argue with the merits of <em>drilling several hundred meters underground</em>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/02/whats-the-best-way-to-pass-time-before-a-wedding-ds-of-course/">What's the best way to pass time before a wedding? A fairly dreary, rubbish "rainbow," admittedly, but a rainbow of <em>sorts</em>. These 'chuks are all part of Nyko's new Kama range of wireless <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/nunchuk">nunchuks</a>, and are classified as gray, black, pink, and gold (the one on the right, apparently). They also happen to be <em>limited edition</em>, and that's probably why Nyko is happy to charge us $35 per nunchuk, a considerable mark-up on the $20 you'd pay for a standard <em>wired</em> Nunchuck (how pass&eacute;!). The gray ones are <a href="http://www.nyko.com//store/ProductDetail.aspx?i=133">up for sale now</a> (there's 300 of them to go round), and the other colors will follow in the coming days (the black and gold are the rarest, numbering only 150). <br /><br />Nyko <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">already has a wireless nunchuck out on the market</span> previously released a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/12/wii-fanboy-review-nykos-wireless-nunchuk-adapter/">wireless Nunchuck adapter</a>, so we don't doubt that these would also do the job nicely. However, unlike the adapter, this is a standalone wireless Nunchuck. No messy cords to bundle up. But $35 for a peripheral that will clash with our lovely white Wiimotes? We'll pass on this one.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/nykos-kama-wireless-nunchuks/">Nyko's Kama wireless nunchuks</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/nykos-kama-wireless-nunchuks/#768266"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/2008/04/nunchuk_001_gjfd_nyko_kamo_cg_hkdsd_004_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/nykos-kama-wireless-nunchuks/#768265"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/2008/04/nunchuk_001_gjfd_nyko_kamo_cg_hkdsd_003_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/nykos-kama-wireless-nunchuks/#768264"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/2008/04/nunchuk_001_gjfd_nyko_kamo_cg_hkdsd_002_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/nykos-kama-wireless-nunchuks/#768263"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/2008/04/nunchuk_001_gjfd_nyko_kamo_cg_hkdsd_001_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/nykos-kama-wireless-nunchuks/#768262"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/2008/04/nunchuk_001_gjfd_nyko_kamo_cg_hkdsd_005_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2008/04/22/come-and-get-limited-edition-colored-kama-wireless-nunchucks/">Siliconera</a>]<br /><br />[<span style="font-weight: bold;">Update:</span> Update: Corrected a few errors in the article. $35 is the standard price for all of Nyko's Kama wireless nunchucks: the limited edition Kama line of nunchucks cost the same as Nyko's standard Kama Wireless Nunchucks soon to be released.]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/23/a-rainbow-of-nunchuks/">A rainbow of Nunchuks [Update]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 23 Apr 2008 13:30:00 EST. You know how you're <em>ALWAYS</em> thinking about nothing else but pink things, cooking, and raising <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/20/baby-pals-creeps-the-hell-out-of-us/"><em>cute ickle babies</em></a>? Well, Nintendo is, like, <em>TOTALLY</em> on your wavelength! The company has just teamed up with publisher Future to launch gaming magazine <em>Girl Gamer</em> in the UK, and it won't cost you a penny, meaning you can save for those divine shoes that you just <em>have to have or you'll die</em>.<br /><br />The 32-page magazine is being given away with the latest copies of <em>Bliss </em>and <em>Mizz</em>, two of the UK's most popular girl's titles, and is yet further evidence that Nintendo is <em>completely in touch</em> with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/30/ds-success-prompts-the-girls-guide-to-gaming/">female gamers</a>. Just look at the cover: pink things? <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/media/2008/01/pink_ds_028538583.jpg">Check</a>! This detail from a Sears ad has revealed two new DS hardware configurations. We already knew of the gold <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/10/eastmost-penninsula-is-the-secret-zelda-ds-lite/"><em>Phantom Hourglass</em> box</a>, but this is the firmest confirmation we've seen from an actual retailer.<br /><br />More interesting is the reveal of a metallic pink <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/16/puppy-takes-out-frustrations-on-nintendogs-cart/">Nintendogs: Best Friends Edition</a> </em>bundle for $149.99. We don't know if this is a Sears exclusive, but the little ad clipping makes no mention of exclusivity. We doubt it, since one of our intrepid commenters <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/10/eastmost-penninsula-is-the-secret-zelda-ds-lite/#c8089414">hinted at exactly this hardware</a> for GameStop as well. A new hardware bundle for a two-year-old game? Seems ludicrous on the outset, but it'll probably sell a (few million) bundle(s).<br /><br />[Thanks, Steve 3.2!]<br /> </div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/29/sears-black-friday-ad-reveals-two-new-ds-lites/">Sears Black Friday ad reveals two new DS Lites</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 29 Oct 2007 10:40:00 EST. If you're Canadian, we're sorry (we kid!). No, actually if you're Canadian and so happen to be in the market for a new DS Lite, then you're in luck. Turns out retailer Zellers is dishing out DS Lites for only $109.99, but only if they're of the black, white or pink variety. <br /><br />Should you want to check out the flyer, hit up <a href="http://hbc.flyerservices.com/noncached_admin/Landing.asp">this link</a> and input your postal code. Once done, it should send you over to the appropriate area. Or, you could just walk into one of the stores, if you have one near you.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/16/canadians-get-a-deal-on-the-ds-lite/">Canadians get a deal on the DS Lite</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 16 Oct 2007 11:20:00 EST. They're here, they're pretty ugly, get used to it. The new colored Xbox 360 controllers are now available to <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/catalog.aspx?st=wireless&amp;g=205000000&amp;s=2&amp;p=1&amp;c=10">purchase</a> for $49.99. We really couldn't say it better than X3F when they pointed out these are the perfect "It's a Boy" or "It's a Girl" baby shower gift colors. Sadly, the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/12/pink-and-blue-xbox-360-controllers-coming-in-november-or-dec/">powder blue controller</a> we were hoping for and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/11/colored-xbox-360-controllers/">saw at E3</a> won't be in North America just yet, but you can always import it from Japan starting November 1. And just remember, if you hate all these colors, you can always <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/12/21/make-your-own-colored-xbox-360-controller/">make your own</a>.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2007/10/02/pink-and-blue-controllers-available-for-purchase/">X3F</a>]<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/xbox-360-pink-and-blue-controllers/">Xbox 360 Pink and Blue Controllers</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/xbox-360-pink-and-blue-controllers/#396622"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/09/light-blue-xbox360-controller_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/xbox-360-pink-and-blue-controllers/#395060"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/09/p1010430_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/xbox-360-pink-and-blue-controllers/#395063"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/09/p1010431_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/xbox-360-pink-and-blue-controllers/#395061"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/09/p1010433_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/xbox-360-pink-and-blue-controllers/#395058"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/09/p1010434_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/03/blue-and-pink-xbox-360-controllers-now-available/">Blue and pink Xbox 360 controllers now available</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 03 Oct 2007 09:30:00 EST. Fed up with screen protectors? Scared that you'll eventually crack your system's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/hinge">hinge</a>? Looking to replace the DS Lite you threw against the wall after your girlfriend <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/media/2007/08/felt-pink-ds-lite-2-dsf.jpg">dumped you via <span style="font-style: italic;">PictoChat</span></a>. Seriously, why didn't she just tell you to your face? She was only a few feet away when she did it!<br /><br />This latest hardware revision for the Nintendo DS, Felt Pink, makes those issues things of the past; the new design is even lighter and has a softer D-pad! Carol Esther, the craftster behind this limited edition portable, is willing to part with it for only fifteen dollars! Head past the post break for a photo of the handheld with its lid pulled back.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/30/nintendo-ds-lite-felt-pink-edition/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Nintendo DS Lite, Felt Pink edition</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/30/nintendo-ds-lite-felt-pink-edition/">Nintendo DS Lite, Felt Pink edition</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 30 Aug 2007 13:50:00 EST. A mysterious NeoGAF poster called CubeRevolution is reporting, via equally mysterious sources, a new DS Lite <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/bundle">bundl</a>e for Europe, to be released in September. The purported bundle will consist of a pink DS Lite and a copy of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/24/harvest-moon-crossing/"><em>Harvest Moon DS</em></a>, and will retail for 149.99 Euros, which, for those of us who don't habitually shop with Euros, is the usual cost of a DS Lite alone.<br /><br />CubeRevolution said that an official statement about this bundle would be made during the <a href="http://www.gc-germany.com/">Leipzig Games Convention</a>, which takes place from August 23-26. If you a) live in Europe, b) want a pink DS, and c) would enjoy either <em>Harvest Moon DS </em>or an extra game to trade in, we recommend waiting until after the Games Convention to make your purchase, just in case this turns out to be true.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/07/rumor-harvest-moon-bundle-for-europe/">Rumor: Harvest Moon bundle for Europe?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 07 Aug 2007 18:10:00 EST. We know some of you are still <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/03/ds-daily-lite-or-phat/">clinging to the old ways</a>, but never fear -- we're here to help! This week, we're going to look at ten reasons to make the switch ... and ten reasons to stick with what you've got. Oh, we never said we'd make the decision <em>easy</em>.<br /><br />Of course, the minute we convince you, Nintendo's apt to completely redesign the hardware all over again! But don't worry -- you'll be armed with a list of reasons to wait on anything new ... at least, until we decide to start convincing you to upgrade <span style="font-style: italic;">again</span>. It's the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circle_Of_Life">circle of Nintenfandom</a>; you know you're used to it by now.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/20/ten-reasons-to-stick-with-your-phat/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Ten reasons to stick with your Phat</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/20/ten-reasons-to-stick-with-your-phat/">Ten reasons to stick with your Phat</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 20 Jul 2007 10:40:00 EST. <p>The new DS Lites have been released in Japan and have shown up on import shopping sites. That's right, for only $179 + shipping, you can have a DS Lite in one of the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/30/two-new-ds-lite-colors-for-japan/">two new Japan-exclusive colors</a>! You have your choice of Like the Regular DS Phat Color but on a Lite, or Like the Pink One but Shinier.</p>
<p>Sure, you pay a premium, but it may be worth it to have a DS that looks somewhat different from other DS's in the immediate area. Depends on how you feel about the new colors! What do you think-- Gloss Silver or <em>Gross Silver?</em> Metallic Pink or Me-<em>tacky Pink?</em></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/13/gloss-silver-and-metallic-pink-ds-lites-now-available-for-import/">Gloss Silver and Metallic Pink DS Lites now available for import</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 13 Jul 2007 17:20:00 EST. We were all fine and content with the new dark and intense colors, but new photos have us second guessing ourselves. The guys over at <a href="http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=news&amp;newsid=18871">MaxConsole</a> posted a shot of the new controllers in their natural habitat and honestly, the pictures supplied on Xbox.com don't match. Well, they are close, because the controllers are pink and blue, but in reality the controllers are more Easter egg pastel than dark intense colors. We're officially renaming the color descriptions to "puffy cloud sky blue" and "soft and gentle I need love pink". They're perfect for baby showers too!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/12/pink-and-blue-controllers-shot-in-the-wild/">Pink and blue controllers shot in the wild</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 12 Jul 2007 14:15:00 EST. The <em>Scene It</em> controllers aren't the only cue that Microsoft has been taking from Nintendo lately. The <strike>coral</strike> pink Xbox 360 controller, along with the powder blue, just scream for you to pick them up and say, "Awwww." It's just the perfect color for that girl in your life ... or pastel lover. No word when these will release though you'd think there'd be signage or something like that. Just remember, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/12/21/make-your-own-colored-xbox-360-controller/">you can always make your own</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/11/colored-xbox-360-controllers/">Colored Xbox 360 controllers</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 11 Jul 2007 23:05:00 EST. The brick's interior was also gussied up, but with what, we're not sure. Daffodils and closed-eye kisses from <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/disney">Prince Charming</a> maybe?<br /><br />On its completion, her project sent out a rainbow-tailed shockwave that was felt for miles, magically transforming tough-guy motorcycles into purple unicorns, perfuming musky-scented men, and X-ing out every Y chromosome in its path. Squeal and swoon past the post break for a better view of this girly mod and its <em>Princess Cupcake</em> hood.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/06/fit-for-a-princess-ds-plays-dress-up/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Fit for a princess: DS plays dress-up</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/06/fit-for-a-princess-ds-plays-dress-up/">Fit for a princess: DS plays dress-up</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 06 Jul 2007 19:00:00 EST. The answer: nothing! Girly <em>Halo</em> fan bs angel created a jewel encrusted <a href="http://hawtymcbloggy.wordpress.com/2007/06/14/master-chief-a-true-guitar-hero/">X-plorer guitar</a> for her pink Master Chief spartan to rock out with. The project took around two hours to complete with most of that time dedicated to attaching the little jewels. You can check out more pictures of this pink wonder after the break. Now only if bs angel can hook us up with a few tickets to the pink Master Chief rock concert that's going down this Summer ... our fingers are crossed.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://nikon.bungie.org/news.html?item=19053">HBO</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/28/pink-spartans-know-how-to-rock/">Pink Spartans know how to rock</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 28 Jun 2007 12:15:00 EST. <br />We're not sure children really count as <em>gaming gear</em>, but who are we to define the boundaries of a parent's love? Don't worry, Elmer, we're just kidding -- we absolutely approve of your sending us this picture of your twin daughters, which is why we've chosen to feature them in our first edition of <a href="http://showtell">Show and Tell</a>. These little dolls are only a year and a half old, and they've already mastered the art of wrangling the handhelds away from their parents ... and from those looks of intense concentration, they're already on their way to becoming serious gamers. <br /><br />The proud papa even sent us a video -- you can check it out after the jump. And just remember, you too can be in this spot, with everyone cooing over your awesome game-related photos and swag. Just take some pictures and send them to <strong>showmeit at dsfanboy dot com</strong>, and we'll take care of the rest<strong>. </strong>We've gotten lots of great submissions so far, but we always want more. Thanks again to Elmer and his lovely daughters!<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/14/show-and-tell-gamer-babies-in-the-house/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Show and Tell: Gamer babies in the house</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/14/show-and-tell-gamer-babies-in-the-house/">Show and Tell: Gamer babies in the house</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 14 Jun 2007 13:00:00 EST. <br />
Users drop a standard stylus into the Touch Pen Attachment's casing just like with an ink refill. Including two replaceable styli with every purchase seems a bit unnecessary, but we're not going to argue with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/free">free</a> stuff. The pen's wider and taller body will be able to rest on your hand, and the rubber grip makes sure that the stick won't slip out of your fingers during a hectic game of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/elitebeatagents/"><em>Elite Beat Agents</em></a>.<br />
<br />
The Touch Pen Attachment is as portable as any other writing utensil, but you can also latch it onto the back of your handheld with the two plastic bumps on the clip. From the product shots we've seen, the nubs fit right into the holes meant for the DS Lite's strap.<br />
<br />
The pens come in White, Black, and Pink, retailing for about $6.00 each. Head past the post break for more photos of the Touch Pen Attachment DS Lite.<br />

Around here, you can find lots of pink DS Lites, but anything else is a little more difficult lately. Some readers report that they can't find a DS at all, anywhere. But, the Pink PSP headphones are <em>not</em> as nice. At least, according to <a href="http://plaza.rakuten.co.jp/pspcell/diary/200702140001/">PSP GadgetZ</a>. The man that buys everything PSP-related was surprised to see that although his new black headphones worked fine, these pink official earbuds do nothing at all. Is it just a one-time defect, or is the entire line-up of pink headphones from Sony busted up? I'd like to think the former, but just in case, you may want to avoid this import.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.psp-vault.com/Article861.psp">PSP-Vault</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/02/14/girls-watch-out-pink-headphones-dont-work/">Girls, watch out! You can go with phat or sleek. You can turn it into a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/07/07/ds-phat-mod-koopa-troopa-shell/">turtle shell</a> or a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/04/09/turn-your-ds-into-a-tank/">tank</a>. You can <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2005/12/12/interesting-and-cheap-way-to-customize-your-ds/">tattoo it</a> or you can go for plain, sparkling white. With the DS, the choice is yours ... and some people like to go for multiples. For DS owners, it seems less is definitely <em>not</em> more. So what about you? Are you packing more than one DS? Was it the lure of a new color, or did you yearn for a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/09/28/special-edition-pokemon-ds-lite-and-game-launches-in-japan/">special edition</a>? Did you make the transition from phat to lite? <a href="http://dsfanboy.com/tag/dsd">We'd love to know</a> if you have more than one DS lying around the house. <br /><br />And while we're on the subject ... anyone else just itching for the blue ones to make their way outside Japan? Import costs are just no fun.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/01/28/ds-daily-seeing-double/">DS Daily: Seeing double</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 28 Jan 2007 10:00:00 EST. Of course, there were <em>more</em> DS units around, but hey, details, details ....<br /><br />But it's the same the world over. The Wii is not Nintendo's only star this holiday season, or even its brightest. The little handheld that could continues to rock crazy sales in every market. Best Buy and GameStop employees here in the States report that they can't keep them on the shelves, especially the newer <strike>Noble</strike> Coral Pink DS Lites. <br /><br />It's a good year to be a Nintendo fan.<br /><br />[<font color="red">Update 1</font>: Since we're not in Japan, it's tragically <em>Coral</em> Pink.
