Pokemon caught in this game, including "some hard-to-get Pokemon," can be transferred into <em>Black 2</em> and <em>White 2</em>.<br /><br /><em>Pokedex 3D Pro</em> is an upgraded version of the free Pokedex 3D app, with "detailed information about the more than 600 Pok&eacute;mon featured in the history of the Pok&eacute;mon video game series." Unlike Pokedex 3D, which hid many of its contents behind AR markers, everyone is unlocked from the start.<br /><br />Pricing information was not announced for North America, but <em>Dream Radar</em> and <em>Pokedex 3D Pro</em> sell for 300 yen ($3.75) and 1,500 yen ($18.77) in Japan respectively. Is ultimate <em>Pokemon</em> knowledge worth $18 to you?<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pokedex-3d-pro-3ds-eshop/">Pokedex 3D Pro (3DS eShop)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pokedex-3d-pro-3ds-eshop/#5024782"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/05/pokedex3dprobk_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pokedex-3d-pro-3ds-eshop/#5024783"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/05/pokedex3dpropika1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pokedex-3d-pro-3ds-eshop/#5024784"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/05/pokedex3dpropika2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pokedex-3d-pro-3ds-eshop/#5024785"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/05/pokedex3dpropika3_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pokedex-3d-pro-3ds-eshop/#5024786"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/05/pokedex3dprowk_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pokemon-dream-radar-3ds-eshop/">Pokemon Dream Radar (3DS eShop)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pokemon-dream-radar-3ds-eshop/#5024787"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/05/pokemon-dream-radar_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/15/pokemon-dream-radar-pokedex-3d-pro-coming-to-north-american-3ds/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Pokemon Dream Radar, Pokedex 3D Pro coming to North American 3DS this fall</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/15/pokemon-dream-radar-pokedex-3d-pro-coming-to-north-american-3ds/">Pokemon Dream Radar, Pokedex 3D Pro coming to North American 3DS this fall</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 15 May 2012 10:30:00 EST. It'll be out in Japan June 23 for 300 yen. We're going to think of it as the <em>Face Raiders</em> sequel we never got.<br /><br /><em>Pokemon Zengoku Zukan Pro</em> is a premium version of the freeware <em>Pokedex 3D</em>. We didn't catch exactly what the upgrades were (Japanese language stream and all) but whatever it is, Nintendo plans to charge 1,500 yen ($18) for it!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/04/20/pokemon-ar-searcher-updated-pokedex-3d-coming-to-3ds-eshop/">Pokemon AR Searcher, updated Pokedex 3D coming to 3DS eShop</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 20 Apr 2012 23:15:00 EST. To keep you from ever having to look at an actual comic at Comic-Con, another game company has announced its lineup of playable demos. You'll be able to play a great deal of Nintendo's recent and upcoming 3DS lineup, most of its Wii lineup ... and <em>Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2</em> on DS.<br />
<br />
Nintendo will have both a normal booth at Comic-Con, #5135, and a "Nintendo Gaming Lounge" at the adjacent Marriott Marquis &amp; Marina hotel. This "Gaming Lounge" will feature playable demos of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/super-mario-3d"><em>Super Mario</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/kid-icarus-uprising"><em>Kid Icarus Uprising</em></a>, <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/mario-kart-3d"><em>Mario Kart</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/metal-gear-solid-snake-eater-3d"><em>Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D</em></a>, <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/shinobi"><em>Shinobi</em></a>, and more 3DS games. In addition, you'll be able to try <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/the-legend-of-zelda-skyward-sword">The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword</a></em>, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/06/11/rhythm-heaven-preview/">Rhythm Heaven</a></em>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/06/08/fortune-street-favors-the-board-game-fan/"><em>Fortune Street</em></a>, and more on Wii.<br />
<br />
Bring your DS and/or 3DS when you go. From 4-6 pm on July 21, Nintendo will host a <em>Pok&eacute;mon Black</em>/<em>White </em>meetup. The Lounge will also have a giant <em>Pok&eacute;dex 3D</em> AR marker of Reshiram for you to take commemorative pictures with, and a "gallery" of oversized AR Cards. There will even be downloadable maps for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/dragon-quest-ix"><em>Dragon Quest IX</em></a>!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/07/18/nintendos-comic-con-lounge-stocked-with-mario-zelda-rhythm-he/">Nintendo's Comic-Con lounge stocked with Mario, Zelda, Rhythm Heaven, and more</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 18 Jul 2011 10:15:00 EST. It may be the middle of the night, but here you are, sitting at your computer, 3DS in-hand, flipping through that brand new <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/pokedex-3d">Pok&eacute;dex</a>. Pok&eacute;mans in 3D! Well we've got good news, friend. In our travels around the E3 2011 show floor, we spotted a rare one: the Hydreigon. That's kinda like a water dragon thing, right?<br />
<br />
Anyway, if you'll pause the Pok&eacute;dex for a moment and whip out your QR Code scanner, you'll snag the elusive Pok&eacute;mon yourself. Sure, you can't exactly battle him against your friends, but you could always ... pose in pictures with him! Or show your friends! Or ... <em>uh</em> ... explore his stats! Yeah!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/06/08/heres-your-scannable-hydreigon-for-the-pokedex-3d/">Here's your scannable Hydreigon for the Pokedex 3D</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 08 Jun 2011 01:30:00 EST. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/06/02/excitebike-3d-free-for-30-days-after-eshop-launch-pokedex-3d-fr/"><img border="1" hspace="4" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/06/pokedex3d530pxtitle.jpg" vspace="4" /></a></div>
When the eShop launches on June 6, it won't just be our Japanese friends ripping up the track: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/04/26/excitebike-3d-classic-to-be-offered-free-with-3ds-eshop-update/"><em>Excitebike 3D Classic</em></a>, a remake of the NES title, will be right there for free on the North American store. Act fast, though, as you'll be paying $5.99 to download it after the first 30 days of availability have elapsed.<br />
<br />
If you don't mind parting with some cash, you'll also be able to buy Game Boy ports <em>Super Mario Land</em>, <em>Alleyway</em> and <em>Radar Mission</em> on day one.<br />
<br />
The update will also add the ability for DSi and DSi XL owners to transfer "most" of their DSiWare purchases to the system (we're looking for clarification on what titles will be left behind).<br />
<br />
But let's get to the <em>really</em> important news: Nintendo's eShop will also arrive alongside <em>Pok&eacute;Dex 3D</em>, a virtual compendium of pokemon from the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/03/04/pokemon-black-and-white-review/"><em>Black/White</em></a> games. It's available as a free download (not timed) and lets you summon vast amounts of information on the critters, as well as full 3D models. It also has Street Pass functionality (unlock random pok&eacute;mon by exchanging data) and QR support.<br />
<br />
The QR feature is actually pretty neat: you can take a picture of your friend, set it as a background layer, then snap a pic of a QR code to introduce a pok&eacute;mon. Now you won't have to photoshop all your pok&eacute;-snaps!<br />
