Hey internet, remember <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/15/nintendo-officially-announces-pokepark-wii/">PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure</a></em>? It was that not entirely unlike <em>Tiny Toon Adventures 2: Trouble in Wackyland </em>minigame collection set in a Pokemon-themed poke-themepark, remember? You and Pikachu had to complete minigames and make new pokepals in order to collect the 14 missing Sky Prism pieces for Mew. Really? Not ringing any bells? Well, Nintendo and Creatures Inc remember it, and they're making another one.<br />
<br />
The latest issue of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coro_Coro_Comics">CoroCoro Comics</a> has revealed <em>PokePark 2: Beyond the World</em>, headed to the Wii (in Japan, at least) this winter. Pikachu returns as the title's star pocket monster, bringing with him additional playable pals and 4 person multiplayer. No further details are available at the moment, but Tokyo Game Show's imminent hugeness looms over the horizon in a reassuring fashion.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/12/pokepark-2-beyond-the-world-coming-to-wii-this-fall/">PokePark 2: Beyond the World coming to Wii this fall</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 12 Sep 2011 23:15:00 EST. Its whole fall Wii lineup now has solid release dates, with newly dated games including:
<ul>
    <li><em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/kirbys-epic-yarn">Kirby's Epic Yarn</a></em>: October 17</li>
    <li><em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/wii-party">Wii Party</a></em>: October 3</li>
    <li><em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/pokepark-wii">PokePark Wii</a></em>: November 1</li>
    <li><em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/flingsmash">FlingSmash</a></em>: November 7</li>
    <li><em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/donkey-kong-country-returns">Donkey Kong Country Returns</a></em>: November 21</li>
</ul>
On DS, <em><a href="http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/6wqIbzCmluiHj6kL5PNU2hDcX4i4fh11">Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem</a></em> has been given a November 14 date. But Nintendo didn't stop there with the announcements: we now know we can expect <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/super-meat-boy">Super Meat Boy</a></em> for WiiWare and <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/shantae-riskys-revenge">Shantae: Risky's Revenge</a></em> for DSiWare this holiday season (which was previously announced, but it's good to know that game is still on track). Also ... <em>Bit. Trip Fate</em> this fall! That's right, not content with merely giving release dates to games we knew about, Nintendo went ahead and announced someone else's unannounced game. And that's why we love these press releases.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/17/nintendo-dates-q4-lineup-announces-bit-trip-fate/">Nintendo dates Q4 lineup, announces Bit.Trip Fate</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 17 Aug 2010 09:30:00 EST. We've collected all the screenshots and trailers we had yet to post from Nintendo's crowded slate of Wii releases, along with ones you may have missed during our <a href="http://joystiq.com/e3">E3</a> coverage earlier this week. As you might have surmised from the title, the game stars Pikachu and takes place in a <em>Pok&eacute;mon</em> theme park.<br />
<br />
As Pikachu attempts to collect the shards of the "Sky Prism" that protects the park, he and new Pok&eacute;mon friends take part in the park's various attractions. Yes, Pikachu's idea of "helping" is to have fun on all the park's rides. Pikachu is kind of a hedonist. The attractions include Poke-themed activities like Rhyperior's Bumper Burn, Bulbasaur's Daring Dash, Salamence's Air Ace, Venusaur's Vine Swing, and Gyarados' Aqua Dash.<br />
<br />
<em>Pok&eacute;park Wii</em> will be released in Europe on July 9. We don't want to ruin the surprise, but if we had to guess, we'd say this game will be announced in North America at some kind of <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/e3-2010">large industry event</a> being held soon.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/27/pokepark-wii-pikachus-adventure-opening-in-europe-this-july/">Pokepark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure opening in Europe this July</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 27 May 2010 18:00:00 EST. Though it's certainly <em>not</em> the console debut that fans <em>really</em> want, this happens to be the first console Pok&eacute;mon game developed by Creatures Inc., creators of the main handheld series.<br /><br />The game involves Pikachu competing and cooperating with other Pokemans in a sort of theme park through, according to <a href="http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2009/10/15/poke_park_wii_announced/">Andriasang</a>, "<span>tag, battle, and quiz mini-games." The game emphasizes Pikachu's interactions with his new friends and includes a camera mode to allow you to photograph the </span>Pok&eacute;mon you meet.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pokepark-wii-pikachus-big-adventure/">PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Big Adventure</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pokepark-wii-pikachus-big-adventure/#2366902"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/10/pokemon101501_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pokepark-wii-pikachus-big-adventure/#2366901"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/10/pokemon101503_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pokepark-wii-pikachus-big-adventure/#2366900"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/10/pokemon101502_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pokepark-wii-pikachus-big-adventure/#2366899"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/10/pokemon101504_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/15/nintendo-officially-announces-pokepark-wii/">Nintendo officially announces PokePark Wii</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 15 Oct 2009 10:05:00 EST.
