GameStop's money bin kept on filling up in the <a href="http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=130125&amp;p=irol-newsArticle&amp;ID=1498235&amp;highlight=">third quarter</a> of its fiscal year, with the company reporting $1.9 billion in sales, up 3.5 percent from the same period last year. The company saw a profit of $54.7 million, up 4.8 percent from the $52.2 million from Q3 of last year.<br />
<br />
The top five selling games for the retailer during the period, ending October 30, 2010, were<i> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/15/halo-reach-grabs-200-million-day-one/">Halo: Reach</a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/madden-nfl-11">Madden NFL 2011</a></i>, <i><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/fallout-new-vegas">Fallout: New Vegas</a></i>, <i><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/nba-2k11">NBA 2K11</a></i> and <i><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/medal-of-honor-2010">Medal of Honor</a></i>. <br />
<br />
<a href="http://gamasutra.com/view/news/31616/GameStop_Kinect_Move_In_Very_Short_Supply_WiiLike_Launch_Environment.php">Gamasutra</a> reports that during an investor call earlier today, company president Tony Bartel noted there is strong demand for both Sony's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Move/">Move</a> and Microsoft's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Kinect/">Kinect</a>. The company is "excited" to see that the peripherals are currently in "very short supply" and that they are bringing in an "expanded audience." Company execs believe the two items are comparable to the Wii in terms of bringing a different set of customers to stores.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/19/gamestop-enjoyed-sales-of-1-9b-in-q3-kinect-move-in-very-sho/">GameStop enjoyed sales of $1.9B in Q3; Kinect, Move in 'very short supply'</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 19 Nov 2010 01:00:00 EST. Dear PlayStation,<br />
<br />
It has come to my attention that you intend to launch a new downloadable PlayStation 3 game, dubbed "<a href="http://joystiq.com/game/dead-nation">Dead Nation</a>," on Tuesday, November 30 in North America (and December 1 in Europe). Based on what I have read on various video game blogs and e-podiums, the Housemarque-developed game offers the opportunity to annihilate necrotic ne'er-do-wells in a collapsed and imbalanced society.<br />
<br />
Since this video game has not yet launched, I'm sure there's time yet for you to examine my exciting proposal! Indeed, I hope to correct the imbalance within our own society caused by the cultural overexposure of the living dead, who are now present in television shows, novels, comic books, talk shows and a handful of video games. Isn't it about time you challenged gamers with a worthy foe, and one that doesn't simply covet brains for its nutritional benefits? I'm talking about The B.E.A.N. Replanting Initiative (T.B.R.I.).<br />
<br />
Why pander to your players with pale, unintelligible humans -- with whom they are intimately familiar with! -- when you could send in the:<br />
<br />
<strong>B</strong>ugs! <em>Equipped with monstrous mandibles, thrilling thoraxes and loads of legs!</em><br />
<strong>E</strong>xtraterrestrials! <em>They came to boil our oceans, disintegrate our cities and zap our way of life!</em><br />
<strong>A</strong>liens! <em>I guess we covered this one!</em><br />
<strong>N</strong>azis! <em>History's most hated villains and most reliable, no-strings-attached targets for unrepentant violence!</em><br />
<br />
As you can see, the classic monsters have a lot of life left in them, which is more than you can say for zombies, because they aren't alive at all. With your cooperation, we can put them back in the spotlight. If you'd like, I'd be more than willing to consult on your enemy replacement initiative. Everyone at the B.E.A.N. Replanting Initiative would be more than happy to introduce bugs into your game, or help German-ate your assets.<br />
<br />
Kind regards,<br />
Leonard K. Trubb<br />

Klei Entertainment's stylish murder-em-up, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/shank"><em>Shank</em></a>, has been dated for Steam, according to the latest trailer issued by EA. On October 26, anxious arterial-spray aficionados can work their craft via Valve's Steam service -- as seen in the image above, pre-ordering the game also knocks off 10% of its $14.99 asking price, <a href="http://store.steampowered.com/app/6120/">bringing it down to $13.49</a>. <br />
<br />
Oh, you don't believe us? Really? We thought we got past your trust issues, Reginald? Well, head past the break and check out the trailer for yourself, then feel <em>super guilty</em> for ever doubting us.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/10/07/shank-takes-a-stab-at-steam-on-october-26/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Shank takes a stab at Steam on October 26</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/10/07/shank-takes-a-stab-at-steam-on-october-26/">Shank takes a stab at Steam on October 26</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 07 Oct 2010 18:20:00 EST. That's right, you'll be able to use your body as a controller to make Sonic fall down a mountain on <em>day one</em>.<br />
<br />
"Kinect's unique motion sensor means <em>Sonic Free Riders</em> will see family and friends controlling their favorite Sonic characters and their fully customizable hover boards or bikes," Sega's announcement notes, "by twisting, turning and jumping in an exhilarating race to be the first to cross the finish line!" It will see you, and it will <em>judge</em> you.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/30/sonic-free-riders-on-board-for-kinect-launch-day/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Sonic Free Riders on board for Kinect launch day</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/30/sonic-free-riders-on-board-for-kinect-launch-day/">Sonic Free Riders on board for Kinect launch day</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 30 Sep 2010 16:40:00 EST. This morning, Team17 announced the forthcoming Steam/XBLA release of <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/alien-breed-2-assault">Alien Breed 2: Assault</a></em>, the followup to last year's <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/alien-breed-impact">Alien Breed: Impact</a></em>. Adding to the single-player and co-op campaigns this time around is a new "Survivor Mode," which has players <em>assaulting</em> "endless waves of intense alien horde attacks." The developer also promises a new species to brutally murder en masse: "Webber" aliens.<br />
<br />
Picking up the game on XBLA nets players some "exclusive" Avatar award items in a "Barnes" helmet and body armor, each of which must be earned through game objectives ("killing a set number of aliens" and finishing the single-player campaign, respectively). The title arrives this Wednesday on both XBLA and Steam.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/alien-breed-2-assault/">Alien Breed 2: Assault</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/alien-breed-2-assault/#3381298"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/09/alienbreed2assaultscreen01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/alien-breed-2-assault/#3381299"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/09/alienbreed2assaultscreen02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/alien-breed-2-assault/#3381301"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/09/alienbreed2assaultscreen03_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/alien-breed-2-assault/#3381302"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/09/alienbreed2assaultscreen04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/alien-breed-2-assault/#3381303"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/09/alienbreed2assaultscreen05_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/20/alien-breed-2-assault-launching-this-wednesday/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Alien Breed 2: Assault launching this Wednesday</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/20/alien-breed-2-assault-launching-this-wednesday/">Alien Breed 2: Assault launching this Wednesday</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 20 Sep 2010 13:00:00 EST. Notorious modder <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/ben-heck">Ben Heckendorn</a> (aka "Ben Heck") is taking on a new challenge -- turn a show about modding into <em>entertainment</em>. The <a href="http://www.element-14.com/community/docs/DOC-24096/l/ben-heck-media-room">press release</a> detailing his new show says it'll be starting on September 13 and we're told it'll be hosted on both <a href="http://www.element-14.com/">element14</a> (its sponsor) as well as internet TV channel <a href="http://revision3.com/">Revision3</a>.<br />
<br />
The show's premiere episode will see Heck mod a game controller "for an avid gamer with a serious disability," with subsequent shows to be released every other week. And though we're not sure if he'd be interested, if Heck could figure out a solution to our colorblind issues with certain games, he'll hold a spot in our hearts <em>forever</em>. <br />
The multiplayer <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/source-engine">Source Engine</a>-powered FPS will be released on Steam and XBLA. Up to eight players can compete in various environments within a movie set, fighting to get the starring role in a horror movie by murdering each other with weapons ranging from the expected (guns) to the bizarre ("an exploding remote-controlled rat").<br />
<br />
Check out the first screens in the gallery below, featuring the game's cast of playable movie stereotypes. <em>Bloody Good Time </em>will be available this fall.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/bloody-good-time-pc-xbla/">Bloody Good Time (first screens)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/bloody-good-time-pc-xbla/#3326096"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/09/bgtscreenshotsthirdblack_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/bloody-good-time-pc-xbla/#3326097"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/09/mfpsshotgun2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/bloody-good-time-pc-xbla/#3326099"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/09/mthirdflametrower_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/bloody-good-time-pc-xbla/#3326100"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/09/mthirdfryingpan_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/bloody-good-time-pc-xbla/#3326101"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/09/mthirdrc_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/02/bloody-good-time-source-engine-fps/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Have a Bloody Good Time in Ubisoft's Source Engine FPS</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/02/bloody-good-time-source-engine-fps/">Have a Bloody Good Time in Ubisoft's Source Engine FPS</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 02 Sep 2010 14:53:00 EST. <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/southpeak">Southpeak</a> has announced that its chess title, <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/battle-vs-chess"><em>Battle vs Chess</em></a> (which is totally <em>not</em> <em>Battle Chess</em>) is headed to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 28. Much like Interplay's classic game of nearly the same name, <em>Battle vs Chess</em> lets players compete in the ancient strategy game using animated pieces. <em>Battle vs Chess</em> also includes several different gameplay modes, including a campaign mode and puzzle mode which house "over 50 puzzles and scenarios." Another mode allows players to manually place pieces, which can only be seen by the opponent after the game begins.<br />
<br />
The PC version will retail for $20, while the Xbox and PlayStation 3 versions will be available for $40. Meanwhile, the Wii, DS and PSP versions are slated to be released in the first quarter of 2011 with prices still under wraps for now.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/02/battle-vs-chess-sets-up-september-28-release-gambit/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Battle vs. Chess sets up September 28 release gambit</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/02/battle-vs-chess-sets-up-september-28-release-gambit/">Battle vs. Chess sets up September 28 release gambit</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 02 Sep 2010 04:00:00 EST. "9/9"), which goes very well with the $9.99 price. That's actually the same price as the iPhone version, and you get updated graphics for that (relatively) enormous iPad screen! <br />
<br />
Like the iPhone version, <em>Chinatown Wars HD</em> includes a customizable "Independence Radio" station, so you can listen to your own music while fueling gang wars and looking for the most profitable drug deals, and then keep the music going when you play <em>Grand Theft Auto</em>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/01/grand-theft-auto-chinatown-wars-hd-hotwires-ipad-september-9/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>GTA: Chinatown Wars HD hotwires iPad Sept. 9</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/01/grand-theft-auto-chinatown-wars-hd-hotwires-ipad-september-9/">GTA: Chinatown Wars HD hotwires iPad Sept. 9</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 01 Sep 2010 20:00:00 EST. <a href="http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/111/1117029p1.html">IGN</a> reports that two big announcements have been made at a Microsoft Open House event in Australia. First and foremost, Kinect will launch in the land down under on November 18. The unit will be bundled with <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/kinect-adventures"><em>Kinect Adventures</em></a> for AUD $199 (USD $181). A console bundle with Kinect (presumably the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/20/kinect-bundled-with-slim-4gb-xbox-360-arcade-for-300-new-conso/">4GB Xbox bundle</a> we've seen before) will retail for AUD $449 (USD $407). <br />
<br />
Furthermore, Foxtel's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/20/xbox-360-gets-streaming-tv-in-australia-via-foxtel/">previously announced</a> premium TV streaming service will launch in October. <br />
The first course, on September 29, is <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/hydrophobia">Hydrophobia</a></em> for 1,200 Microsoft Points. Twisted Pixel's <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/comic-jumper">Comic Jumper</a></em> follows on October 6 at the same price. <em>Pinball FX 2</em> will be available October 13. It's free, and can import tables from the first <em>Pinball FX</em>, with each additional table purchased individually. Finally, as discovered earlier <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/31/game-feast-super-meat-boy-release-date/">this morning</a>, <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/super-meat-boy">Super Meat Boy</a></em> will serve as (a kind of disgusting) dessert on October 20, also for 1200 Points.

<br />
The game's <a linkindex="61" href="http://dlgames.square-enix.com/siig/">official site</a> also features that date, both on the page itself and at the end of a brief new trailer (accessed by clicking the box labeled "The Beginning"). We can expect this date to evolve into a more specific date soon, and then an actual playable game after that.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/30/space-invaders-infinity-gene-lands-on-psn-and-xbla-in-september/">Space Invaders Infinity Gene lands on PSN and XBLA in September</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 30 Aug 2010 18:00:00 EST. A Wii version was previously planned, but seems to have fallen away like the walking dead after a sweet solo. In fact, when it was first <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/11/wii-to-fret-over-rock-of-the-dead/">announced</a>, the game was for Wii <em>only</em>! <br />
<br />
We're checking with UFO about the absent Wii game. You can see what could have been (and, on Xbox and PS3, what will be) in two new trailers after the break.<br />
<br />
UFO also announced a set of three apps for various iThings to support the release of the main game. <em><a href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/387233205/id387233205">Rock of the Dead: Zombie Pong</a></em>, a free two-player <em>Pong</em> game with musical and undead themes, is available now for iPad. It'll be followed by <em>Rock of the Dead: Zombie Survival</em>, a miniature, top-down iPhone version of the "real" game, and <em>Rock of the Dead: Whack-a-Zombie</em>, which is exactly what it sounds like, also for iPhone.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/rock-of-the-dead-ps3-xbox-360/">Rock of the Dead (PS3/Xbox 360)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/rock-of-the-dead-ps3-xbox-360/#3298337"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/08/game-2010-07-19-10-05-53-85_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/rock-of-the-dead-ps3-xbox-360/#3298338"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/08/game-2010-07-19-10-11-18-95_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/rock-of-the-dead-ps3-xbox-360/#3298339"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/08/game-2010-07-19-10-13-57-72_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/rock-of-the-dead-ps3-xbox-360/#3298340"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/08/game-2010-07-19-10-16-55-53_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/rock-of-the-dead-ps3-xbox-360/#3298341"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/08/game-2010-07-19-10-30-17-89_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/26/rock-of-the-dead-now-listed-for-ps3-and-360-with-spinoff-ios-ap/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Rock of the Dead now listed for PS3 and 360, with spinoff iOS apps</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/26/rock-of-the-dead-now-listed-for-ps3-and-360-with-spinoff-ios-ap/">Rock of the Dead now listed for PS3 and 360, with spinoff iOS apps</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 26 Aug 2010 08:00:00 EST. In a <a href="http://www.tsl-game.com/news.php?paged=2">post</a> on the game's site, Phoenix's Cesar Bittar notes some of the improvements that have been made based on feedback from those who played the first game. <br />
<br />
Thanks to you, <em>Episode 2: Two Households</em> will have better pathfinding, the option to switch between "extended" and "short" narration, new walking animation (with a walk/run toggle), more subtitle options, and widescreen support. In terms of gameplay, there are 17 new locations, a roughly 4-hour-long quest, and "puzzles a-plenty to keep you entertained."<br />
<br />
If you want to catch up on this King's Quest business so you can understand why fans would go to the trouble of making a tribute game, GoG.com just added a <a href="http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/kings_quest_1_2_3"><em>King's Quest 1-3</em> bundle</a> to its shop, for $9.99. You can get a pack with <a href="http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/king%E2%80%99s_quest_4_5_6"><em>4, 5, and 6</em></a> for the same price. We'll warn you now: these games look and sound quite <em>vintage</em>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/24/new-silver-lining-chapter-out-in-september-old-kings-quest-gam/">New Silver Lining chapter out in September, old King's Quest games on GoG now</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 24 Aug 2010 13:00:00 EST. Classic game show <em>Press Your Luck</em> will have a video game incarnation available starting tomorrow, August 24, on PSN. The game features online and couch co-op for up to three people, along with solo play and over 2,500 trivia questions. The game will likely be $10, but we'll have to wait for confirmation tomorrow.<br />
<br />
Sadly, the video game based on the '80s game show does not feature announcer Rod Roddy nor host Peter Tomarken, who died in 2003 and 2006, respectively. However, it does feature the Whammy, whose lifeforce is filled through human suffering and a steady diet of $100 bills. Check out a video of the game after the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/24/big-money-no-whammies-press-your-luck-coming-to-psn/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Big money, no Whammies! Finally, fans left hanging at the conclusion of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/serious-sam-hd-the-first-encounter"><em>Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter</em></a> can get a bit of closure on September 22, as Majesco has confirmed the launch date for <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/serious-sam-hd-the-second-encounter">Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter</a>. </em>If there's anything that these games are known for, it's their rich narrative and character development, so to leave us hanging like that is <em>criminal</em>. All jokes aside, we could all probably use a bit more of "shoot everybody and don't die" in our lives. Keeps you feeling young, you know?<br />
<br />
<em>Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter</em> adds three new weapons -- the Sniper Rifle, Flamethrower and Chainsaw -- and co-op support for up to four players across 12 maps, including team-based and competitive modes. No price has been announced for <em>The Second Encounter</em>, though we suspect pricing will be in line with the first game: 1200 MS Points ($15).<br />

An <a href="http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/129/index/4546420">announcement</a> from BioWare reveals that you'll be let in on September 7, when the new <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/22/mass-effect-2-dlc-ventures-into-lair-of-the-shadow-broker/">"Lair of the Shadow Broker" DLC</a> is released on PC and Xbox 360. It'll cost 800 Microsoft Points or 800 BioWare Points ($10).<br />
<br />
The announcement mentions five new achievements, new research, and the Shadow Broker intel center -- but here's where it gets interesting. The new DLC will "give fans from <em>Mass Effect 1</em> the chance to continue a relationship with Liara." The Shadow Broker is going to be so upset when he finds out people are sneaking into his lair for hanky-panky.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/mass-effect-2-lair-of-the-shadowbroker-dlc-8-23-10/">Mass Effect 2 ("Lair of the Shadow Broker" DLC)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/mass-effect-2-lair-of-the-shadowbroker-dlc-8-23-10/#3289636"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/08/shadowbroker-04-o_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/mass-effect-2-lair-of-the-shadowbroker-dlc-8-23-10/#3289637"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/08/shadowbroker-05-o_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/mass-effect-2-lair-of-the-shadowbroker-dlc-8-23-10/#3289638"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/08/shadowbroker-06-o_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/mass-effect-2-lair-of-the-shadowbroker-dlc-8-23-10/#3289639"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/08/shadowbroker-07-o_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/23/enter-mass-effect-2s-lair-of-the-shadowbroker-on-september-7/">Enter Mass Effect 2's 'Lair of the Shadow Broker' on September 7</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 23 Aug 2010 16:20:00 EST. Anxious to get your hands on Activision's were<em>thing</em>-infused rock-em-up, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/guitar-hero-warriors-of-rock"><em>Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock</em></a>? Activision revealed a launch date for the game during its annual investors call last night: September 28 (September 24 in the UK). For those of you keeping score at home, that's a full month before the arrival of its competitor, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/rock-band-3">Rock Band 3</a>, </em>which is set to launch on October 26.<br />
<br />
Outside of being compatible with "your existing <em>Guitar Hero</em> music library," <em>Warriors of Rock</em> adds 95 <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/29/guitar-hero-warriors-of-rock-songs-setlist/">new tracks</a> into the mix, including <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/27/guitar-hero-warriors-of-rock-includes-re-recorded-alice-cooper/">re-recordings from Alice Cooper and The Runaways</a>. Additionally, if you're one of the first million to purchase the game in North America, you get <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/03/get-new-soundgarden-album-early-with-guitar-hero-warriors-of-ro/">a free Soundgarden album</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/06/guitar-hero-warriors-of-rock-takes-the-stage-september-28/">Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock takes the stage September 28</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 06 Aug 2010 11:25:00 EST. We understand your apprehension when it comes to trusting in a launch date for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/ruse"><em>RUSE</em></a>, Ubisoft's oft-delayed WWII-based RTS. While befitting of the game's title, the publisher's habit of announcing a release date and then (surprise!) changing it -- <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/ruse,release-date">numerous times over the course of the year</a> -- has grown from a bothersome trick to <em>just plain mean</em>. When Ubisoft's <span class="fn">Aymeric Evennou recently <a href="http://twitter.com/UbiLeak/status/19585493274">tweeted</a> </span>that the date was now set for September 7 (September 9 in Europe; and September 10 in the UK), we couldn't help but feel we were being set up again.<br />
<br />
However, Ubisoft has independently confirmed with Joystiq that <span class="fn">Evennou's posted release dates were accurate and that <em>RUSE</em> will launch in the US on September 7 across PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.</span> (We should note that this confirmation came without a pinky swear.)<span class="fn"><br />

Lordy! Another <em>Worms</em> game already? When we announced <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/front-mission-evolved"><em>Front Mission Evolved</em></a>'s September 14th launch date we <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/25/front-mission-evolved-shoots-for-september-14-release/">joked</a> that Square Enix had neglected to check the calendar. You know, because September 14 is also "International <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/halo-reach">Halo: Reach</a> </em>Day," a notable religious holiday. Also there's another video game coming out that day.<br />
<br />
Now <em>Front Mission Evolved</em> has been pushed back two weeks, to September 28. The funny thing is, other <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/28/dead-rising-2-release-date-a-shambles-delayed-to-sept-28/">high-profile</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/07/fifa-11-kicks-off-september-28-in-north-america-october-1-in-eu/">games</a> are arriving on that new launch date -- sometimes you just need to mecha decision, we guess. <strong>Update:</strong> Check out pre-order bonuses after the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/21/front-mission-evolved-pushed-back-to-september-28-2010/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Front Mission Evolved pushed back to September 28, 2010</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/21/front-mission-evolved-pushed-back-to-september-28-2010/">Front Mission Evolved pushed back to September 28, 2010</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 21 Jul 2010 22:01:00 EST. Activision has declared war on the calm, blue and oh-so-smug skies with the announcement of <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/apache-air-assault">Apache: Air Assault</a></em>, a game where you don't fly a cool airplane because you're too busy piloting a freakin' sweet helichopter. Russian developer Gaijin Entertainment (<em>IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey</em>) promises several variations of Apache birds, each outfitted with sick military weaponry, "highly-detailed damage modeling" and the ability to destroy tanks who are too <em>stupid</em> to fly into the air and fight back.<br />
<br />
Due this fall on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, <em>Apache: Air Assault</em> will offer an "Arcade" mode for those who want to blow things up right away, as well as a "Realistic" mode for players who to blow things up the right way. You can also expect competitive online multiplayer and a local co-op mode that has two people sitting in the same helichopter, going let's go left no let's go right oh it doesn't matter because we can fire like sixteen missiles into that guy's face this is awesome hahaha.<br />

In a press release announcing its European lineup for the next three months, Nintendo made sure to include a couple of surprises. <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/last-window">Last Window: The Secret of Cape West</a></em>, the DS sequel to <em>Hotel Dusk</em> (developed by the now-bankrupt CING), will bring the first game's unique style of sketchy noir to Europe on September 17.<br />
<br />
One week later on September 24, Nintendo of Europe is resurrecting an extremely odd title from Japan: <em>Face Training: Facial exercises to strengthen and relax from Fumiko Inudo</em>, a game about facial exercises designed to keep your face youthful and expressive. The original <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/facetraining/">Japanese version</a> shipped with a camera that attached to the DS through the GBA slot. The European version is for DSi and DSi XL only, and uses those systems' built-in cameras, along with an included stand.<br />
<br />
The other major new release in Nintendo's European lineup is <em>Art Academy: Learn painting and drawing techniques with step-by-step training</em>, out on August 8. This is a full DS game based on a series of DSiWare art education apps. More DS and Wii releases can be found in the full <a href="http://nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/news/2010/metroid__dragon_quest_tetris_face_training_and_much_more_coming_soon_for_nintendo_consoles_18548.html">schedule</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/14/hotel-dusk-sequel-and-face-training-announced-for-ds-in-euro/">Hotel Dusk sequel and ... Did you know that EA's <em>Football Manager</em> franchise is developed in Germany? Did you then know that, in German, the game is titled "Fussball Manager?" 'Cause that just about made our whole year. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, you might be interested to know that EA Sports is bringing another release in the <em>Fussball</em> series out later this year on PC. The publisher announced the title recently alongside the release of a smattering of screens (that we've dropped into a gallery below). <br />
<br />
The tenth entry in the <em>FIFA Manager</em> series promises a lowered barrier of entry for new players, as well as "considerably expanded" online functionality. EA's Bright Future studio in Germany is heading up development of the annual franchise's latest installment, and the game is expected to release sometime this fall. How much time does <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/dead-rising-2">Dead Rising 2</a></em> developer Blue Castle Games need to get its upcoming zombie apocalypse sim ready for consumption by the living? At least one month, it seems, as the game's North American release date has been pushed back to September 28 (from a previously stated <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/11/dead-rising-2-in-us-aug-31-shambles-to-japan-and-europe-l/">late August release</a>). Capcom sent over word this morning of the delay, oddly pointing out that it's "happy to confirm" as much.<br />
<br />
No explanation of the delay was offered (we're asking!), though we suspect Blue Castle probably had to re-articulate the limb separator subroutines and upscale the procedural chainsaw collision detection ... matrix. It's <em>technical stuff</em>, you wouldn't understand.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/28/dead-rising-2-release-date-a-shambles-delayed-to-sept-28/">Dead Rising 2 release date a shambles, delayed to Sept. 28</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 28 Jun 2010 09:16:00 EST. During its keynote press conference, Konami confirmed that <em>Castlevania: Lords of Shadow</em>, the Kojima-assisted, MercurySteam-developed 3D reboot of the classic series set to vanquish the forces of evil on the Xbox 360 and PS3, would arrive "later this fall." Word came from producer David Cox, who emerged before a new trailer was shown to attendees. We'll try to get our hands on said trailer and whip it up on the site. <em><br />

Amid the various <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/15/wii-party-announced-for-u-s-release/">parties</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/15/the-legend-of-zelda-skyward-sword-revealed-and-detailed/">sword-swinging antics</a> at this morning's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/15/nintendo-e3-keynote-live-from-the-nokia-center">Nintendo E3 2010 press conference</a>, a sequel to the wildly popular <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/just-dance">Just Dance</a></em> was announced as heading "exclusively to Wii" in fall 2010. Duets, a "Just Sweat" mode, some sort of approximation of <em>bringing it</em> in "dance crew face-offs," and support for "up to 8 players" will be packed into <em>Just Dance 2</em>. Are you ready to "join the movement?" Yeah, we're not sure we are either, but we get the feeling that those <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/18/ubisoft-reports-76-2-million-operating-loss-in-fiscal-year-2009/">millions of people</a></em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/18/ubisoft-reports-76-2-million-operating-loss-in-fiscal-year-2009/"> who bought the first</a> just might be.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/15/just-dance-2-making-moves-on-wii-this-fall/">Just Dance 2 making moves on Wii this fall</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 15 Jun 2010 12:37:00 EST. And because the first game was met with such lukewarm reception, Konami has prepared a media onslaught documenting the story, improvements and multiplayer of the sequel. Above, you can find a brisk video highlighting the events of the second game.<br />
<br />
For the remainder of the videos, you'll have to head past the break. One provides a quick rundown of the sequel's improvements, while the other gives us an overview of the multiplayer functionality. And if all of that hacking and slashing gives you a touch of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Arrested_Development_characters#Lucille_Austero">the Lucille Twos</a>, then maybe you should just check out the motionless stills in our gallery below.<br />

<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/22/front-mission-evolved-gears-up-for-us-release-this-spring/">Spring</a> has turned to fall for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/front-mission-evolved"><em>Front MIssion Evolved</em></a>, as Square Enix has <a href="http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/front-mission-evolved-advances-to-north-america-on-september-14-2010-94795849.html">announced</a> the game will launch on September 14. The latest entry takes the SRPG franchise into a new direction: third-person shooter. Double Helix, of <em>Silent Hill: Homecoming</em> fame, is developing. Square Enix also announced that the PC version will be playable in stereoscopic 3D, which effectively swaps out the gameplay depth from the strategy games for visual depth.<br />
<br />
It's great we finally have a solid release date, Square Enix, but you probably should've checked the calendar before deciding on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/24/halo-reach-grabs-september-14-release-date/">September 14</a>. We've already <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/30/two-worlds-2-preview/">gone on record</a> as saying that <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/two-worlds-2">Two Worlds II</a> </em>doesn't look nearly as terrible as we fully expected it to, but we're still a little surprised to report we were <em>genuinely</em>, <em>non-ironically</em> excited to see that it had been officially <a href="http://www.businesswire.com/portal/site/home/permalink/?ndmViewId=news_view&amp;newsId=20100503007178&amp;newsLang=en">dated this morning</a>. Publisher SouthPeak says the open-world action-RPG will arrive on Sept. 14 on PS3, 360 and PC.<br />
<br />
Perhaps before then we'll get our hands on the game and be able convert our "non-pessimism" to "optimism." Here's hoping!<br />

You know all those summer plans you have? Well <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/starcraft-2">StarCraft 2</a></em>'s first piece -- the human-based <em>Wings of Liberty</em> -- was just <a href="http://www.marketwatch.com/story/starcraftr-ii-wings-of-libertytm-in-stores-starting-july-27-2010-2010-05-03?reflink=MW_news_stmp">given a July 27 release date</a> for "stores throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Mexico, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and the regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau." What, no Kyrgyzstan?<br />
<br />
Allergic to stores? Unfortunately, Blizzard won't be offering the game directly to consumers through its website until "shortly after retail launch." Seems like you might wanna rethink those summer plans, eh? Remember, this <em>is</em> Blizzard, so ... <em>maybe not</em>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/03/starcraft-2-wings-of-liberty-zerg-rushing-retail-july-27/">Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty Zerg rushing retail July 27</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 03 May 2010 17:28:00 EST. If you're still excited about <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/clash-of-the-titans">Clash of the Titans</a></em> this July, three months after the release of the movie (and twenty-nine years after the release of the <em>other</em> movie), then you can channel that potential excitement into a video game purchase. Namco Bandai have announced that Game Republic's adaptation of the film will be available on PS3 and Xbox 360 on July 27. When you go in to buy it, be sure to bellow "Release the Kraken!" and then awkwardly explain to the clerk that you've temporarily nicknamed your wallet "the Kraken" entirely for the purpose of that joke.<br />
<br />
If you pre-order the game at <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/gamestop">GameStop</a>, you'll receive two bonuses: a "Bird in Hand" quest pack, containing a quest to defeat the Cockatrice (with a "Wing of Icarus" sub-weapon as a reward) and a "Song of Enchantment" quest pack entailing a fight against a succubus and siren, to earn the Orpheus sub-weapon.<br />

(It had previously been <a href="http://nintendo.joystiq.com/2009/08/25/level-5-and-studio-ghiblis-another-world-delayed-until-another/">delayed</a> from last year to this spring.)<br />
<br />
Not much of an announcement of the delay was made -- just quiet indication from various Japanese gaming news sources that <em>Ni no Kuni's</em> scheduled release window had been changed to the fall. Perhaps as some consolation some new screenshots were released, depicting Oliver and a friend working on a car (seen above). If you'd like to know if this is a game worth waiting for (even if a localized version has not been announced), please direct your attention to our <a linkindex="106" href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/25/tgs-2009-hands-on-ni-no-kuni/">impressions</a> of the TGS demo.<br />

Alright, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/ruse">RUSE</a></em> dev team at Ubisoft, that's quite enough! This is at least <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/ruse,release-date">the </a><em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/ruse,release-date">fourth time</a></em> your game has been pushed back from a retail release and frankly, we're tired of thinking up punny headlines based on your game's title at this point. So we'll just be straight up with you, dearest reader: <em><a href="http://www.facebook.com/notes/ruse/important-note-ruse-postponed-until-late-september/116043581753324">RUSE</a></em><a href="http://www.facebook.com/notes/ruse/important-note-ruse-postponed-until-late-september/116043581753324">'s Facebook page</a> has been updated by the development team reflecting <em>another delay</em> until sometime in September. <br />
<br />
The note cites "massive feedback" from the game's beta users as the cause of said delay, and explains that, "this extra time will allow us to implement many of your suggestions and improve the multiplayer experience while polishing the overall game." So, will we finally get to play <em>RUSE</em> in September? We're gonna go ahead and say "maybe ... we think."<br />

What are you doing this summer? Oh, you're going to <a href="http://www.sixflags.com/national/index.aspx">Six Flags</a>? Screw that, you're going to want to <em>blow stuff up</em> ... and <em>punch junk</em> ... and <em>play Gears of War 3</em> instead, right? Okay, we can't help you with that last one, but <a href="http://www.vg247.com/2010/04/06/koei-tecmo-confirms-summer-release-for-quantum-theory/">VG247</a> reports that a very similar experience will be available this summer: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/quantum-theory"><em>Quantum Theory</em></a>.<br />
<br />
A Tecmo Koei spokesperson confirmed to us that the game is set for "a TBA Summer 2010" release. Previously, the game was set to release sometime in March, but was <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/02/quantum-theory-trinity-souls-of-zill-oll-delayed/">pushed back</a> due to quality concerns. We're sure you can't wait to see <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/28/tecmo-sees-opportunity-in-expanding-audience-pursuing-women/">Tecmo's, uh, softer side.</a><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/06/quantum-theory-set-for-summer-release/">Quantum Theory set for 'summer' release</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 06 Apr 2010 16:20:00 EST. The game was originally dated for May 18, but now you won't have the opportunity to smack a minotaur with a sword until July 6*.<br />
<br />
There is some good news, however: along with the new release date, Sega revealed the suggested price for the fighter: a wallet-friendly $29.99. In other good news, there's a new trailer, revealing a game that rivals Clash of the Titans for ridiculous dialogue and gratuitous monster use.<br />

If you're anything like us, you've been looking at your iPhone's old, boring, <em>regular</em> version of <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/simcity">SimCity</a></em>, anxiously anticipating a deluxe update with "improved UI" and "4 distinct season" (ooh, and they're "linked to seasonal disasters!"). Thankfully EA has announced just such an update in <em>SimCity Deluxe</em>, heading to the App Store this summer. <br />
<br />
As you can see above (and more thoroughly below in the gallery), the game will come with a variety of cultures throughout history and their respective accoutrements (pyramids, for instance). No price has been set, but we'd wager it won't be too far off from the $2.99 asking price for the original game -- and hey, under $10 for pyramids? We're okay with that.<br />

Though it seems like we <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/12/review-army-of-two-the-40th-day/"><em>just</em> got back from Shanghai</a>, it appears we're going to be booking another flight soon. Square Enix has announced that <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/kane-and-lynch-2"><em>Kane &amp; Lynch 2: Dog Days</em></a> will kick off "48 hours of hell" for its duo of miscreant protagonists on August 24 in North America and August 27 in Europe.<br />
<br />
If you'd like to spend the interim months preparing for the sequel, there's a new trailer from IGN available directly after the break. (Side note: How weird is it to see the Square Enix logo at the beginning? Totally weird, that's how weird.)<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/17/kane-and-lynchs-dog-days-begin-on-august-24/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Kane &amp; Lynch's Dog Days begin on August 24</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/17/kane-and-lynchs-dog-days-begin-on-august-24/">Kane &amp; Lynch's Dog Days begin on August 24</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 17 Mar 2010 16:30:00 EST.
