"As a gift to the persistently loyal fanbase for our Jedi games and in memory of LucasArts, we are releasing the source code for both games for people to enjoy and play with." The source code for each game can be found on Source Forge through the source links below, opening the game up to anxious modders across the galaxy.<br /><br /><em>Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast</em> launched on the PC in 2002, with ports to Mac OSX, the original Xbox and Nintendo GameCube coming the following year. It's the sequel to 1998's <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_Jedi_Knight:_Mysteries_of_the_Sith"><em>Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith</em></a>, developed by LucasArts for the PC, and revolves around the New Republic that forms after the collapse of the Empire. Raven's big, scary, four-eyed father also makes a brief appearance during her fittingly insane super, and if you're familiar enough with her story to know <em>his</em> name, you're also familiar enough to be upset about her outfit and chin.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/14/injustice-gods-among-us-latest-character-reveal-is-so-raven/">Injustice: Gods Among Us' latest character reveal is so Raven</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 14 Mar 2013 16:00:00 EST. You can use the app to check your career stats and recent match performances, edit your classes, and search for and apply to Clans - pretty much the same stuff you can do with the app via <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3"><em>Modern Warfare 3</em></a>.<br /><br />You can also use it to stream <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/11/09/call-of-duty-elites-tv-content-previewed/">Call of Duty Elite TV</a>, access multiplayer guides, and track challenges. The iOS app is universal and compatible with all iDevices running iOS 5.0 or greater; however, the app does not have iPhone 5 screen support.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/11/14/call-of-duty-elite-app-gets-black-ops-2-support-on-ios-android/">Call of Duty Elite app gets Black Ops 2 support on iOS, Android</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 14 Nov 2012 18:30:00 EST. The ASA took exception to the copious gunfire, explosions and the depiction of "New York under military assault" - you know, Call of Duty stuff. The ad originally aired in November during an afternoon soccer match and, although Activision followed the advertising guidelines it had been given at the time, the ASA has decided that the commercial "could cause distress to some children who might see the ad." As such, the ad can no longer be show prior to 7:30pm.<br /><br />It's a shame, really. Activision needs all the help it can get <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/12/activision-trumpets-1-billion-for-modern-warfare-3/">spreading the word</a> about Call of Duty.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/07/25/modern-warfare-3-ad-too-violent-for-uk-soccer-time/">Modern Warfare 3 ad too violent for UK soccer time</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 25 Jul 2012 11:00:00 EST. Maybe you missed out on the Raven Software-deveolped <em>Quake 4</em> during its initial launch, way back when in 2005? Bethesda is giving everyone a second chance to take on the Strogg this summer.<br /><br />The <a href="http://www.bethblog.com/2012/04/11/quake-4-returns-to-xbox-360/">Bethesda Blog</a> has announced that the Xbox 360 version of <em>Quake 4</em> is being re-released at a new $19.99 price point on June 19. Currently, the only ways to pick up a copy of <em>Quake 4</em> are through <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/steam">Steam</a> (on Windows PC) and at the bottom of your local game retailer's bargain bin.<br /><br />Or maybe your cousin Carl? He told us he liked <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/quake/"><em>Quake</em></a> once. Borrow his copy!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/04/11/quake-4-relaunches-june-19-for-20/">Quake 4 relaunches on June 19 for $20</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 11 Apr 2012 13:30:00 EST. Activision is sharing the four-piece bonus with Elite subscribers throughout the coming months, but isn't saying exactly what the content will be. All we know is that it'll be interspersed throughout the planned Elite content "season."<br /><br />Elite's platform ubiquity is increasing as well, with the service's planned launch on tablets coming in the near future. Nearly 2 million folks have already snagged the app across both iOS and Android -- that's quite a few, considering <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/09/call-of-duty-elite-pulls-in-7-million-users-1-5-million-paid-me/">approximately 7 million folks</a> are Elite users. Bond fansite <a href="http://www.mi6.co.uk/news/index.php?itemid=9117&amp;t=mi6&amp;s=news">MI6</a> claims that the recently approved bankruptcy plan at MGM has allowed the unannounced Bond title to be "taken off hiatus," and says it's back in production at Raven. Additionally, the report alleges that the Bond title was one of two games being worked on by Raven -- a sequel to 2009's <em>X-Men Origins: Wolverine</em> is said to also have been in production, though that game is reportedly "on the backburner" currently.<br />
<br />
Given the recent death sentence handed to <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/james-bond-007-blood-stone">James Bond 007: Blood Stone</a></em> by Activision (did you know that game was released, because it <em>totally was</em>) and the <a href="http://www.slashfilm.com/mgm-approved-bankruptcy-composer-bond-23/">tumultuous story of Bond's 23rd film</a> (said to now be back on track) -- not to mention Raven's ties to the very, very lucrative Call of Duty franchise and a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/10/11/report-raven-hit-with-layoffs-lets-40-go/">recent thinning</a> of the studio's staff -- we're a bit wary that the supposed stealth Bond will ever see the light of day. Regardless, we are totally, 100 percent confident in our unabashed excitement for the reignited Bond 23 plans.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/06/rumor-raven-software-working-on-stealth-based-bond-game-follow/">Rumor: Raven Software working on stealth-based Bond game, follow-up to Wolverine 'on the backburner'</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 06 Dec 2010 15:50:00 EST. When faced with the imminent collapse of your once idyllic and isolated society, you'll find that adhering to a few simple rules could save your too-good-to-be-true life. The difference between escaping dystopia and dying of dysentery in a locker is made plain in these important steps:<br />
<br />
<ol>
    <li>Don't bother trying to keep up with the Joneses anymore. Their mutated forms have granted them incredible endurance and speed.</li>
    <li>Avoid any scientific laboratories, especially those staffed by inter-dimensional riftologists. If you must visit one, always go for the Exploding Barrel Research Center.</li>
    <li>For god's sake, don't use an antiquated audio recorder -- no matter how charming it is -- to capture your final, downtrodden play at preservation. The minute you start talking about how you got separated from the others, you're inviting ... w<em>hat was that noise</em>? <em>Oh god, I can hear it in the vents and AAAAIIEEEEE</em> etc.</li>

If <a href="http://g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/704663/Activision-Pulls-Raven-Software-Off-Bond-Game-Now-Designing-Call-Of-Duty-Maps.html">reports from G4</a> sources are to be believed, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/singularity">Singularity</a></em> developer Raven Software is working on a "stealth-centric <em>Bond</em> game" (not to be confused with the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/22/james-bond-bloodstone-retailer-listing/">unannounced <em>Bond</em> racer</a>). Not only that, <em>but</em> the game has supposedly been put on hold so that Raven can create map packs for this November's Treyarch-developed <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/call-of-duty-black-ops">Call of Duty: Black Ops</a></em>. Apparently, in the wake of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/@breakup">Activision's kerfuffle</a> with (now former) Infinity Ward staff, the publisher is having to assign substitute developers to work on various components of the lucrative <em>Call of Duty</em> franchise.<br />
<br />
While the situation sounds less than ideal for Raven, it beats the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/27/raven-software-confirms-layoffs-new-size-reflects-upcoming-wo/">pretty heavy layoffs</a> suffered by the studio last year. Now having <em>too much</em> work sounds like a <em>good</em> problem for Raven, especially in a still-ailing <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/economy">economy</a>. We reached out to Activision to confirm this report, but hadn't heard back as of publishing.<br />
<br />
<strong>Update:</strong> Activision responded, "Activision does not comment on rumor and speculation."<br type="_moz" />

Heck, the game's developer, Raven Software, even had to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/27/raven-software-confirms-layoffs-new-size-reflects-upcoming-wo/">lay off some folks</a> last summer to reflect a lightened workload after the release of <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/x-men-origins-wolverine">Wolverine</a></em> and <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/wolfenstein">Wolfenstein</a></em>. <br />
<br />
But the game popped back up on our radar last night when its latest trailer was shown on <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-last-singularity/64560">GameTrailers TV</a>, complete with a solidified June 29 release date (as <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/09/amazon-and-gamefly-agree-singularity-out-june-29/">Amazon and Gamefly listings</a> previously indicated). If you're into WWII-era alternate realities featuring god-like special abilities, the trailer that we've embedded after the break is right up your alley. If not, well, here are the Wonderpets with <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwxwUiDbRCk">a </a><em><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwxwUiDbRCk">very sewious</a></em><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwxwUiDbRCk"> message</a>.<br />

It seems <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/18/report-wolfenstein-multiplayer-team-struck-with-layoffs/">the unfortunate rumors</a> we've been hearing to this effect for some time are true -- Raven Software has confirmed that a round of layoffs recently hit the developer (reports range from 30 to 56 folks cut from the studio's 180-man staff). <a href="http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/60206">Raven and Activision issued a statement</a> explaining that after releasing <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/wolverine"><em>X-Men Origins: Wolverine</em></a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/wolfenstein"><em>Wolfenstein</em></a> so close together, the Raven is "slightly reducing its workforce to better reflect the studio's upcoming slate," which only includes the development of <em>Singularity</em>.<br />
<br />
Of course, other reports include unconfirmed, cause-and-effect-esque reasons for the layoffs. <a href="http://kotaku.com/5346302/raven-hit-by-layoffs-some-point-to-lackluster-wolfenstein-sales">Kotaku reports that sources have attributed</a> the firings to the over-budget (and underselling) <em>Wolfenstein</em>, as well as the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/08/singularity-sucked-into-q1-2010/">holiday-to-Q1 delay of <em>Singularity</em></a>. Regardless of the reason for the downsizing, we hope the affected parties can get back on their feet with a quickness.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/27/raven-software-confirms-layoffs-new-size-reflects-upcoming-wo/">Raven Software confirms layoffs, new size 'reflects' upcoming work load</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 27 Aug 2009 10:01:00 EST. Raven Software's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/singularity"><em>Singularity</em></a> promises just that. Oh, also, you can turn enemies into dust. Sold! <br /><br />We're a bit worried that the game has been pushed back into the surprisingly crowded early-2010 time frame -- considering we'll be playing <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/19/dark-void-touching-down-january-12/"><em>Dark Void</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/27/splinter-cell-conviction-delayed-until-march-quarter/"><em>Splinter Cell Conviction</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/13/bioshock-2-delayed-to-fiscal-2010/"><em>BioShock 2</em></a>, and, ahem, <em>a million other games</em>. <a href="http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/wolfenstein-multiplayer-team-axed-on-release-day">GI.biz</a> reports that an unspecified number of employees from <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/wolfenstein"><em>Wolfenstein</em></a>'s multiplayer developer, <a href="http://endrantstudios.com/">Endrant Studios</a>, were laid off today. Adding insult to injury, today just happens to mark the official launch of the game. Making matters even <em>worse</em>, <em>Wolfenstein</em> is the studio's first title.<br />
<br />
According to an Endrant spokesperson, now that the<em> Wolfenstein </em>development cycle is complete, the studio has "regrettably been forced to make adjustments to staff and headcounts," adding that the laid-off staff members "worked incredibly hard on [Endrant's] latest title." The spokesperson also issued the studio's hope that the former employees "land on their feet quickly."<br />
<br />
For our part, we hope they do too.<br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/18/report-wolfenstein-multiplayer-team-struck-with-layoffs/">Report: Wolfenstein multiplayer team struck with layoffs</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 18 Aug 2009 17:30:00 EST. First-person time manipulation news now, with a brief note from Activision alerting us to a delay in the release of Raven Software's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/singularity"><em>Singularity</em></a>, which was previously slated for a late 2009 arrival. It seems the publisher has wisely decided to push the sci-fi adventure back into March 2010 -- and well out of the way of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/modern-warfare-2"><em>Modern Warfare 2</em></a>'s commercially crushing tank treads.<br /><br />"The level of excitement for Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2 coming out of E3 well exceeded our expectations and therefore we have decided to move Raven's upcoming sci-fi first person action title, Singularity, from 2009 to Q1 2010," an Activision spokesperson declared. "We believe that the March quarter will provide a better opportunity to establish the new cutting-edge action IP as a "must-have" title and clears the way for Modern Warfare 2 to dominate this holiday season."<br /><br />Thanks for taking one for the team, <em>Singularity</em>! Now, if you Assassin's Creeds and Splinter Cells and BioShocks could just skooch over a tad ...<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/singularity/">Singularity</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/singularity/#1380642"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/02/timewave_seq_01-2232009-19_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/singularity/#1380674"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/02/spetsnaz_02-2232009-2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/singularity/#1380643"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/02/screenshot00011-2232009-58_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/singularity/#1380675"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/02/screenshot00031-2232009-26_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/singularity/#1380644"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/02/screenshot00009-2232009-1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/08/singularity-sucked-into-q1-2010/">Singularity sucked into Q1 2010</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 08 Jul 2009 19:59:00 EST. <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-motion-wolfenstein/52341">GameTrailers</a> has posted a new <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/wolfenstein">Wolfenstein</a> </em>motion comic. We're not quite sure how to feel about it really. Sure, it's nice to see B.J. Blazkowicz doing what he does best. We also like that <em>Wolfenstein</em>'s famous chain gun-wielding Hitler once again gets what he deserves. Still, the whole thing is just so <em>cheesy</em>. If we didn't know better, we'd say that B.J. is trying to fill the one-liner chasm that has been left by the dearly departed <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/duke-nukem">Duke Nukem</a>.<br /><br />Don't take our word for it though, watch it after the break and see what you think.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://news.bigdownload.com/2009/07/03/animated-wolfenstein-shorts-debut/">BigDownload</a>]<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/04/wolfenstein-motion-comic-serves-up-action-with-a-side-of-cheese/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Wolfenstein motion comic serves up action with a side of cheese</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/04/wolfenstein-motion-comic-serves-up-action-with-a-side-of-cheese/">Wolfenstein motion comic serves up action with a side of cheese</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 04 Jul 2009 21:00:00 EST. Stat tracking is nothing new for FPS games, but we have to hand it to Raven for being thorough. According to <a href="http://multiplayerblog.mtv.com/2009/06/25/wolfenstein-campaign-to-feature-16384-nazi-deaths/">MTV Multiplayer</a>, the upcoming <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/wolfenstein"><em>Wolfenstein</em></a> keeps track of not only how many Nazis you kill, but the manner in which they died. Multiplayer asserts that it saw a stat screen at 36 percent completion, which noted that 639 kills had been made. Using some simple math, the blog calculated that a total of 1638.4 Nazis will meet their doom by the end of the game.<br /><br />Now, we hate to criticize, but that's assuming the rate of Nazi influx is <em>constant</em>, which it almost assuredly is not. Still, regardless of exactly how many have fallen by the end, we take comfort in the fact that we'll know exactly how many were dissolved, dismembered, burned and electrocuted. Strangely, the game doesn't appear to keep track of the number that have killed the old fashioned way: with a bullet.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/25/wolfenstein-includes-comprehensive-nazi-death-stat-tracker/">Wolfenstein includes comprehensive Nazi death stat tracker</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 25 Jun 2009 23:59:00 EST. Why futz with bullet-riddled corpses or, even worse, exploded viscera? With the particle cannon, enemies simply disintegrate, making for vary little mess and easy cleanup. You can see it in action in the latest trailer for <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/wolfenstein"><em>Wolfenstein</em></a>. This particular particle cannon is fairly effective, though it does seem to harbor one small design flaw: it disintegrates everything but hats.<br /><br />We're guessing the Allies probably consulted with the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQzzjBR9Etw">ACME Corporation</a> on the particle cannon's design.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/08/disintegrate-bad-people-with-wolfensteins-particle-cannon/">Disintegrate bad people with Wolfenstein's particle cannon</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 08 May 2009 21:30:00 EST. One thousand three hundred and fifty five people: murdered. Okay, <span style="font-style: italic;">some</span> of them were unfeeling killer robots, but even after eliminating every piece of scrap metal from the virtual cemetery, you're left with a considerable number of motionless bodies by the end of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/wolverine"><span style="font-style: italic;">X-Men Origins: Wolverine</span></a>. Or at least things that, when reassembled, vaguely resemble bodies. <br />
<br />
<span style="font-style: italic;">Wolverine</span> is a game that exudes excess and revels in recklessness. The design mirrors that of its protagonist, an unhinged brute who lops off limbs, tears apart helicopters and frequently howls at the camera. Oh, and he apparently has a lot of fun, too. Like <span style="font-style: italic;">God of War</span> and its ilk, Wolverine is at its best when it feels like all limitations have been dissolved, along with any possibility of you succumbing to a mere <em>army</em> of opponents. Even distance becomes an ex-factor, with an always satisfying lunge maneuver planting you in someone's chest before they can do something futile -- like shooting you.<br />

It appears the demo for <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/x-men-origins-wolverine">X-Men Origins: Wolverine</a></em> is <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/press/2009/0417-wolverinedemo.htm">available now</a> on Xbox 360. Go experience the thrills of watching Wolverine cut bad guys into meaty chunks and shove them head-first into ... well, you'll see. Don't be fooled, gamer parents out there: Activision may have the PG-13 rated movie's title on the box, but this game is certainly rated Mature and likely not suitable for the kiddies. Definitely take <em>Wolverine</em> for a test drive if you're up for an intense <span style="font-style: italic;">God of War</span> experience set in the Marvel universe.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/30/wolverine-demo-available-now-on-xbox-360/">Wolverine demo available now on Xbox 360</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 30 Apr 2009 23:00:00 EST. That mantra is very simple: <em>It's only a licensed game.</em> Just say it over and over again. It's only a licensed game. It's only a licensed game. It won't be any good.<br />
<br />
Keep repeating that while watching the video above, which focuses on the game's story, particularly that of Sabretooth. In the upcoming film, Sabretooth is actually portrayed as Wolverine's brother, which makes for some ... <em>interesting</em> family dynamics. The video also takes a quick look at both Gambit and The Blob. So, again, just remember to keep repeating the mantra ...<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/17/latest-wolverine-vid-picks-at-sabretooth/">Latest Wolverine vid picks at Sabretooth</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 17 Apr 2009 03:00:00 EST. The latest behind-the-scenes video goes a step further than just claiming that the title will be the best Wolverine game ever made, Raven actually calls out <em>all</em> other games. Senior Producer Jeff Poffenbarger lays it on the line at the end of the video saying, "Every other game is like ... some pansy."<br />
<br />
Oh, no he <em>didn't</em>. Watch the video and see just what Raven is talking about. Be warned though, the video contains some pretty graphic violence against melons.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/09/wolverine-devs-every-other-game-is-some-pansy/">Wolverine devs: Every other game is 'some pansy'</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 09 Apr 2009 20:30:00 EST. And we liked it. <br />
<br />
We've now played a near final version -- once again starting out in the jungle -- and, well, we still like it. Luckily we got to see a lot more of what players are in for and found that, while Kratos probably has grounds for a civil suit, there are definitely plenty of unique elements to help Wolverine's adventure stand on its own.<br />

The <a href="http://www.wolfenstein.com/">official website</a> for the latest iteration of <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/wolfenstein">Wolfenstein</a> </em>is now open for business. The site contains everything you'd expect from a game site, including screens, videos, forums and a blog. A handful of the screens are new, and there is also a hefty load of concept art, all of which we've compiled in the galleries below. Be sure to check out the concept art, as it contains a sneak peak at some of the game's multiplayer classes. The site also promises some upcoming webisodes, so stay tuned.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Activision/">Activision</a> has also announced that this week's episode of GameTrailers TV will be dedicated to <em>Wolfenstein</em>. The episode will feature a new trailer, plenty of gameplay footage and a look at one of the game's bosses. The episode is scheduled to air this Friday on SpikeTV.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wolfenstein-3-19-09/">Wolfenstein (3/19/09)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wolfenstein-3-19-09/#1441127"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/03/image_005_lrg_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wolfenstein-3-19-09/#1441133"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/03/image_006_lrg_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wolfenstein-3-19-09/#1441130"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/03/image_008_lrg_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wolfenstein-3-19-09/#1441128"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/03/image_009_lrg_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wolfenstein-3-19-09/#1441129"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/03/image_010_lrg_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wolfenstein-concept-art/">Wolfenstein Concept Art</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wolfenstein-concept-art/#1441139"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/03/concept_art_001_lrg_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wolfenstein-concept-art/#1441140"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/03/early-geists-designs-01_lrg_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wolfenstein-concept-art/#1441141"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/03/geist-collector-approved-design_lrg_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wolfenstein-concept-art/#1441142"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/03/hospital_exam_room_lrg_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wolfenstein-concept-art/#1441149"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/03/hospital_hallway_lrg_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/03/19/achtung-wolfenstein-website-is-live/">Achtung! He's fast, strong, mean [Get a room! - Ed] ... and he has an adamantium skeleton complete with kick-ass adamantium claws. Judging by the latest trailer for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/wolverine"><em>X-Men Origins: Wolverine</em></a>, if the game is even <em>half</em> as good as it looks -- which <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/06/nycc-09-hands-on-wolverine-claws-of-olympus/">seems to be the case</a>, incidentally -- we're in for a treat. There is no stealth here. There is only running, jumping and killing. Even better, it appears that the running and jumping are there purely to <em>facilitate</em> the killing.<br />
<br />
Oh, and Wolverine <em>deflects a rocket</em> with his claws. <em>With. His. Claws</em>. That is all.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/03/10/video-wolverine-is-one-angry-awesome-dude/">Video: Wolverine is one angry, awesome dude</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 10 Mar 2009 15:00:00 EST. In Raven Software's latest FPS, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/singularity"><span style="font-style: italic;">Singularity</span></a>, you play as a salesperson for Cingular Wireless, now AT&amp;T Wireless. No, that's not right. Oh yes. You play as a character who, unlike a Cingular salesperson, can manipulate time -- travel through it, use it to make folks <span style="font-style: italic;">age to death</span> ... y'know, the usual. <br /><br />Anyway, the game's publisher, Activision, has released the first trailer for it and a <span style="font-style: italic;">couple dozen </span>screenshots. The game looks mighty good, but we won't be totally convinced until we confirm players can use time to grow beards quickly. That and play it at E3. The trailer's hanging out just after the break or skip the lame Flash-vid and <a href="http://www.bigdownload.com/games/singularity/pc/singularity-reveal-trailer-hd/">download it in glorious HD from Big Download</a>.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/singularity/">Singularity</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/singularity/#1380642"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/02/timewave_seq_01-2232009-19_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/singularity/#1380674"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/02/spetsnaz_02-2232009-2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/singularity/#1380643"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/02/screenshot00011-2232009-58_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/singularity/#1380675"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/02/screenshot00031-2232009-26_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/singularity/#1380644"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/02/screenshot00009-2232009-1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/23/singularity-spawns-multiple-screenshots-first-trailer/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Singularity spawns multiple screenshots, first trailer</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/23/singularity-spawns-multiple-screenshots-first-trailer/">Singularity spawns multiple screenshots, first trailer</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 23 Feb 2009 16:00:00 EST. When we think back on our proudest achievements throughout our video gaming careers, a few notable moments come to mind -- for instance, the first time we <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2NGIfCooAA"><em>caught 'em all</em></a>. Or when we topped our friends' high scores on <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/search/?q=Pac-Man%20Championship%20Edition">Pac-Man Championship Edition</a></em>. The first time we beat <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idZ9C0Qtj2A">the wretched wind tunnel level in <em>Battletoads</em></a>. Oh, and how could we forget -- that time we shuffled robo-Hitler off this mortal coil in <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfenstein_3D"><em>Wolfenstein 3D</em></a>. That guy was a <em>jerk</em>.<br /><br />Unfortunately, the satisfaction one feels after putting the kibosh on a genocidist won't be present in Id Software and Raven's next installment in their Nazi-stomping franchise, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/search/?q=Wolfenstein">Wolfenstein</a></em>. In an interview with Eurogamer, Id lead artist Kevin Cloud confirmed that <a href="http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=207258">the Fuhrer will not be present in the upcoming title</a>, claiming that the developer needs to "save something for future Wolfensteins." Who could possibly replace him as the game's nefarious evil boss, though? <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eva_Braun">Eva Braun</a>? Bowser, perhaps?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/09/new-wolfenstein-game-will-not-feature-hitler/">New Wolfenstein game will not feature Hitler</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 09 Aug 2008 21:00:00 EST. <em>Wolfenstein</em> fans rejoice because it looks like the next entry in the fabled franchise is set to debut at E3 this year. The news comes from a <a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/sphereNews/idUS130786+08-Jul-2008+PRN20080708?sp=true&amp;view=sphere">press release</a> covering Spike TV's E3 plans (of all places). So says the press release: "Geoff Keighley is on the E3 show floor to give Spike viewers the inside scoop on the sights and sounds of the show. Also, tune in for more world exclusive surprises including something special from id Software and Raven Software." The time listed for this particular bit of programming is "Tuesday, July 15 and Wednesday, July 16 (11:59 PM - Midnight, ET/PT)."<br /><br />Considering the next <em>Wolfenstein</em> is Raven Software's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/16/wolfenstein-set-for-2008-release/">current project</a>, it sounds like that's what we'll be seeing. Strangely, this is listed for GameTrailers TV's E3 Minute program which, as noted above, is only a minute long. With id Software's E3 plans <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/04/id-software-admits-uncertainty-regarding-plans-for-e3/">still very hazy</a>, it's looks like things may be starting to take shape after all. Let's hope we wind up with more than a minute's worth of <em>Wolfenstein</em> when all is said and done.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/09/wolfenstein-will-probably-be-at-e3/">Wolfenstein will probably be at E3</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 09 Jul 2008 17:30:00 EST. We thought it was important to comb through <a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/sphereNews/idUS130786+08-Jul-2008+PRN20080708?sp=true&amp;view=sphere">Spike TV's E3 coverage plans</a>, if only so we could plan our walking paths to put us in front of the cameras as much as humanly possible. But imagine our surprise when we actually found news hiding within our ticket to stardom. Check this listing:<br /><br />"Geoff Keighley is on the E3 show floor to give Spike viewers the inside scoop on the sights and sounds of the show. Also, tune in for more world exclusive surprises including something special from id Software and Raven Software. -- Tuesday, July 15 and Wednesday, July 16 (11:59 PM - Midnight, ET/PT)"<br /><br />Something special from id and Raven, huh? Could it be the 2-and-1/2-years-in-development <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Wolfenstein/">Wolfenstein</a></em> follow up that's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/14/next-gen-wolfenstein-resurfaces-with-2008-release/">supposed to arrive</a> this year? Yeah, we think that's a pretty safe bet. Speaking to <a href="http://www.gamespot.com/news/6173213.html?part=rss&amp;tag=gs_news&amp;subj=6173213">GameSpot</a>, the publisher said that the shooter is "being developed in Minnesota" and would be released on their Activision Value label. <br /><br />You know who's not in Minnesota? Madison, Wisconsin-based Raven Software, who developed the previous two <em>Soldier of Fortune </em>titles. Former Raven employee Kenn Hoekstra posted on <a href="http://www.bluesnews.com/cgi-bin/board.pl?action=viewthread&amp;threadid=78865&amp;id=387330&amp;boardid=1&amp;view=threads">Blue's News</a> forums that that there was a new developer. We were just wondering how much our awesome DS Fanboy audience crossed over with the "mainstream" audience. And by that we mean people who pick up the Disney Channel tie-in games.<br /><br />We're not making fun here; we aren't judging or anything. We are genuinely interested. Who among us has played <em><a href="http://disney.go.com/disneyinteractivestudios/product.html?platform=ds&amp;game=zackcody">The Suite Life of Zack &amp; Cody</a>, </em>or <a href="http://disney.go.com/disneyinteractivestudios/product.html?platform=ds&amp;game=hannahmontana"><em>Hannah Montana</em></a>, or <em><a href="http://disney.go.com/disneyinteractivestudios/product.html?platform=ds&amp;game=raven3">That's So Raven: Psychic on the Scene</a>?</em> We usually pay no attention at all to this stuff, so we'd actually like to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/dsd">hear impressions</a> of it from our commenting friends. Are they bland? Are any of them surprisingly playable? Or hilariously, lovably awful?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/20/ds-daily-the-suite-life-of-zack-and-cody-and-you/">DS Daily: The Suite Life of Zack &amp; Cody &amp; You</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 20 May 2007 11:00:00 EST. Actually, you'll be happy to know that the next game in the series will be hitting the 360 <a href="http://news.yahoo.com/s/wisc/20070511/lo_wisc/13305259">later next year</a>. In an interview with a Wisconsin new station, who were doing a story on video game development, Raven Software talked about what new tools they use for next gen development and hinted that <em>Wolfenstein</em> will be releasing sometime in 2008. Huge news? Not really, but the <em>Wolfenstein</em> dev team has kept quite mum about their little baby, so any news is rather exciting. After <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/02/27/next-gen-wolfenstein-lands-on-360-this-year/">falling off radar</a> for a little over a year, the "next-gen" version of <em>Wolfenstein</em> continues development with a 2008 release date attached to it. Announced <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2005/10/05/next-wolfenstein-to-debut-on-xbox-360/">back in 2005</a>, the game was expected last year and just sorta disappeared. Now a <a href="http://news.yahoo.com/s/wisc/20070511/lo_wisc/13305259">random story</a> by a Wisconsin television station about motion capture technology brings news that the game isn't complete vaporware and developer Raven Software (<em>Marvel Ultimate Alliance</em>) is still working on it.<br /><br />The focus of the news piece is the actress Raven Software hired to play "an elite force assassin" in the game. The actress, Carrie Coon, will have her face scanned for use in the game. Femme fatales always make a game better, just ask Ada Wong (<em>Resident Evil</em>) or Mona Sax (<em>Max Payne</em>). Well, we hope that the game will get a real name soon and some screens to go with the official announcement. With any luck the title won't disappear for another year -- we need more WWII based, Nazi killin', first-person shooters!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/14/next-gen-wolfenstein-resurfaces-with-2008-release/">'Next-gen' Wolfenstein resurfaces with 2008 release</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 14 May 2007 21:00:00 EST. Naturally, we're a little confused, as a trailer was released on Marketplace just to let us know that the content would arrive April 10th (i.e. yesterday). The trailer has now been pulled, and the official <em>Marvel: Ultimate Alliance</em> website says nothing of the content beyond the original announcement that was made last month. Of course, it's possible the content failed the certification process, in which case fans could be waiting a while to get their hands on the new heroes and villains. <br /><br />Was anyone out there looking forward to this new DLC?<br /> <font color="red"><br />Update</font>: The sheer magnitude of all the super villainy contained in this post created a time vacuum, thus shoving the post backwards in time an entire day. The evil has since been rectified and the post returned to its proper time.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/11/new-marvel-ua-content-still-mia/">New Marvel: UA content still MIA</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 11 Apr 2007 10:15:00 EST. The news comes from <a href="http://biz.gamedaily.com/industry/news/?id=15563">GameDaily.biz</a>, though it seems the original article has been removed. Luckily, <a href="http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27206">Evil Avatar</a> has captured the important bits. The content pack is set to bring 8 different heroes and villains to the game, including Hawkeye, Magneto, the Incredible Hulk, Nightcrawler, Sabretooth, Doctor Doom (!), Cyclops, and Venom (!!). The Hero Pack and Villain Pack will set you back 500 points each, or you could grab all 8 in one pack for a cool 800. Individual gamer pictures will also be available for 80 points each. No release date has been confirmed.<br /><br />Are you willing to drop the MS Points to breathe new life into <em>Marvel</em>?<br /><br /><font color="red">Update</font>: As awesome as Magneto is, he doesn't deserve to be listed twice. Added Nightcrawler, who richly deserves to be there.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/22/new-marvel-ultimate-alliance-content-soon/">New Marvel: Ultimate Alliance content soon</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 22 Mar 2007 14:45:00 EST. There's no Incredible Hulk (he's in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2005/08/17/the-incredible-hulk-ultimate-destruction/">Vivendi's game</a>), but just about everyone else from the House of Ideas makes an appearance, which amounts to at least 20 playable characters on each platform. Where <em>Ultimate Alliance</em> really shines over <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/10/20/metareview-justice-league-heroes/"><em>Justice League Heroes</em></a> is in the stronger focus on teamwork, not to mention a more impressive cast of <a href="http://comics.ign.com/articles/740/740523p1.html">villains</a>. &lt;Your team name here&gt;, assemble!<br />

When an enemy is slain, there's a chance that the fallen will gift you with a cluster of healing orbs that automatically zoom to your character. <li><a href="http://www.gamepro.com/microsoft/xbox360/games/reviews/84588.shtml">GamePro</a> (<strong>90/100</strong>) appreciates the challenging enemy AI<span name="intelliTxt" id="intelliTxt"><span nd="1" class="bodytext"></span>: </span>"The major boss battles are head and shoulders above anything you've seen in the past. <li><a href="http://reviews.teamxbox.com/xbox-360/1240/Marvel-Ultimate-Alliance/p1/">TeamXbox</a> (<strong>88/100</strong>) was dazzled by the production quality: "The opening cinematic by Blur Studios is perhaps the finest I have witnessed in a videogame...but it's worth mentioning that the in-game footage cut scenes by Raven are no slouches either. Raven's in-game work is really nice too. Characters all have that comic book look, but have been updated to have their own edge. The backgrounds are just as sweet, flexing a bunch of post-production effects and lots of animations."</li>

Iron Man and Mr. Fantastic are the latest attractions, and although these heroes are both geniuses, they have their flaws -- one has a drinking problem, and the other spends too many hours in the lab. The Marvel games publisher is no longer accepting entries for puny Dr. Banner, but a new casting call for Namor the Sub-Mariner (the elvish-looking guy with wings on his feet) has just been announced. If you're lucky enough to become the voice of the Atlantean prince, maybe you'll get a chance to woo the Invisible Woman.<br /><br />Activision is also still auditioning voices for Jean Grey, so ladies, step on up to the mic! The contest ends July 23.<br /><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/06/06/marvel-wants-your-voice-for-ultimate-alliance/"></a><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/06/27/activision-adds-namor-to-ultimate-voice-contest/">Activision auditioning voices for Namor</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 27 Jun 2006 18:00:00 EST. If you've got the chops to be a super hero, Marvel and Activision want to hear from you (literally). The creators of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/05/17/marvel-heroes-unite-for-ultimate-alliance/"><em>Marvel Ultimate Alliance</em></a> are currently auditioning aspiring voice actors for the parts of Hulk alter ego Bruce Banner and the X-Men's Jean Grey (a.k.a. Marvel Girl/Phoenix/Dark Phoenix). The top male and female entries will have their voices featured in the game, and will also take home an Xbox 360 and other prizes.<br /><br />Now, before you dust off those old Bill Bixby videotapes and start practicing the classic "you wouldn't like me when I'm angry" line, there is specific dialogue you will have to read into the Flash recorder on the <a href="http://www.marvelultimatealliance.com/news.php?id=200&amp;cat=all_news&amp;page=1#headline">official site</a>. Practice up and make Stan Lee proud.<br /><br />[via TeamXbox]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/06/06/marvel-wants-your-voice-for-ultimate-alliance/">Marvel wants your voice for Ultimate Alliance</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 06 Jun 2006 13:57:00 EST.
