With limited time, 3DS systems and eyes capable of processing 3D, we couldn't deliver full reviews for the full 3DS launch lineup. However, we've got the next best thing, a ton of impressions on some of our favorite releases we couldn't get enough quality time with for a full critique.

In addition to Face Raiders and AR Games, both pre-installed on the hardware, the system will launch with three first-party games: Pilotwings Resort, Steel Diver, and nintendogs + cats. Each first-party game has a suggested retail price of $39.99.

Thirteen third-party games will be available on March 27th, including Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition and Rayman 3D. Nintendo promises that thirty games will be available for the platform by E3 expo. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Star Fox 64 3D, Kid Icarus: Uprising and a new Mario Kart game will all be available before year's end.

Today, during an earnings release, the company narrowed down the release dates for many of those titles, at least in Europe.

According to the document, Asphalt 3D, Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D, Rabbids 3D, Rayman 3D, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3D, and Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars will all be released in EMEA territories in the quarter ending March 31. Since the 3DS will be out in Europe on March 25, we can safely call all six of these "launch games." As for North America, the document says only "US 3DS line-up to be confirmed later." However, if all of these games are done in time for the European launch, we can probably expect to see all of them in North America around late March too.

This list leaves off two announced Ubisoft 3DS titles: James Noir's Hollywood Crimes and Driver Renegade. Couldn't get all eight games ready at once? We're disappointed, Ubisoft. Only six is an embarrassment.

There are 15 games due out on March 25, including four first-party offerings: Pilotwings Resort (which isn't listed on the Japanese launch roster) and three different Nintendogs and Cats games.

Ubisoft's also making a strong showing on the launch lineup, providing Splinter Cell 3D, Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars and Rayman 3D on day one. Check out the full list after the jump, and keep your fingers crossed for an equally attractive North American launch list. Heck, you could even wish for a more attractive list, if you're feeling particularly optimistic.

Those of you who have experienced the joy of Rayman 2 can probably stop reading now. The rest of you will be glad to hear that the 3DS version will feature "major updates" to certain gameplay elements, including "accessibility, progression and learning curve."

Frankly, we're just glad to have a new excuse to collect Lums again.

It's got a built-in pedometer! The 3DS measures your steps as you walk -- right there in your pocket! Even better: You can pull the thing out whenever and snap all kinds of pics -- the thing's got three cameras! And get this: It also pipes out music, browses the internet and even plays games.

True, you've already got a pile of old DS games (and now defunct DS devices) that you could be playing on your new pedometer, but more than 30 three-DEE titles are expected to be released during the 3DS "launch window" (which begins March 27 and promptly closes on June 7 with the start of E3).

We've listed 24 of the apparent launch-window releases after the break (though Nintendo's being coy about exact dates), including Nintendo's own Nintendogs + cats and Pilotwings Resort, plus a hearty helping of third-party support; with notable newcomers, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked (previously unannounced outside of Japan) and Crush 3D, a possible port of the 2007 PSP platforming puzzler from Sega.

Don't look at the date ambiguity in dismay -- see it as an opportunity! Beginning in late March, you can walk to and from GameStop in anticipation of a new batch of games each Tuesday for ten whole weeks, and the 3DS will count your steps -- each and every one of them! And just imagine how many Street Passes you're going to rack up?

The ESRB's rating offers a bit of new information about the mysterious title -- specifically, the platform. If you want Rayman's disembodied, floating arms to get all up in your face, you'll have to get a 3DS to do so.

There are still plenty of mysteries around Rayman 3D, like when it's coming out and whether it's an original game or a port -- and, if the latter, on which Rayman game it's based. There's no question, however, that Ubisoft has a lot of faith in the new handheld. This is the seventh planned 3DS game from the publisher.

We can think of two likely possibilities for this game: first, that it's a collection of ported Rayman games, in 3D, for PS3, like the recent Prince of Persia rereleases and the upcoming Splinter Cell collection, both from Rayman publisher Ubisoft. Or it's a Rayman game for 3DS.

Both seem equally plausible: Ubisoft is continuing a recent trend, or preparing a mascot platformer for a new Nintendo handheld. Ubisoft declined to comment on this unannounced product, but at the very least we know there's some kind of Rayman product on the way -- besides Rayman Origins, which is decidedly 2D.
