Some games are available piecemeal, but the remainder must be acquired in special bundles - like <em>Resident Evil</em>, <em>Resident Evil 2</em> and <em>Resident Evil 3</em>, combined here for &euro;14.99 (&pound;11.99).<br /><br /><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/resident-evil-4"><em>Resident Evil 4</em></a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Resident-Evil-Code-Veronica-X"><em>Resident Evil: Code Veronica X</em></a> are also bundled together for &euro;19.99 (&pound;15.99), while several other games have been knocked down to &euro;14.99 (&pound;10.99) each: <em>Operation Raccoon City, </em>the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/resident-evil-5-gold-edition/">gold edition</a> of <em>Resident Evil 5</em> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/06/26/relive-the-undead-onslaught-today-in-resident-evil-chronicles-hd/"><em>Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection</em></a> - the HD Move-compatible port of both <em>Chronicles</em> games originally released on the Wii. Sorry, UK, <em>Chronicles HD</em> will cost you an extra quid, at &pound;10.99.<br /><br />The latest entry in the series, <em>Resident Evil 6</em>, is &euro;24.99 (&pound;19.99). Finally, a bundle that includes all of this is available for &euro;69.99 (&pound;59.99). No word on whether PlayStation Plus members will see additional discounts on these items, though we've contacted Sony for clarification.<br /><br /><span>Remember: the sale doesn't start until tomorrow, after the PlayStation Store update. Don't go accidentally buying any of this stuff now, because if there's one thing everyone knows about you, it's that you're totally not a chump at all. </span><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/13/resident-evil-series-on-sale-on-european-ps-store-this-week/">Resident Evil series on sale on European PS Store this week</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 13 Mar 2013 02:00:00 EST. It takes for granted that you already know the fiction going into the affair, that you already know about its character classes and that you already have people in mind for your squad. It thinks you know about the special abilities and unlockables of each class, and how to access that content, right from the start.<br /><br />Those who missed out on <em>Resident Evil 2</em> and <em>3</em> may not appreciate the small bits of fanservice developer Slant 6 Games has tossed in, but that's minor compared to how much context is missing elsewhere.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-operation-raccoon-city-10-31-11/">Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City (10/31/11)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-operation-raccoon-city-10-31-11/#4572348"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/10/rerohunk03_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-operation-raccoon-city-10-31-11/#4572349"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/10/rerohunk04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-operation-raccoon-city-10-31-11/#4572350"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/10/rerohunk06_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-operation-raccoon-city-10-31-11/#4572351"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/10/reromerged1319105061_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-operation-raccoon-city-10-31-11/#4572352"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/10/reronich01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/03/20/resident-evil-operation-raccoon-city-review/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City review: Evacuation plan</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/03/20/resident-evil-operation-raccoon-city-review/">Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City review: Evacuation plan</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 20 Mar 2012 11:00:00 EST. This seems like a pretty natural fit -- the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/playstation-phone">PlayStation Phone</a>, which, hilariously enough, still hasn't been formally acknowledged by Sony, was recently <a href="http://www.next-gen.biz/news/playstation-phone-is-real-runs-ps1-games">captured on video</a> running a PSOne emulator Android application called ROM Buddy PSX. It should be stressed that the handheld (which has supposedly been branded the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/22/reports-suggest-playstation-phone-called-xperia-play-to-be-re/">Xperia Play</a>) doesn't have this functionality built in -- the video is simply demonstrating how the Play's slide-out gamepad can be used to interact with the App, and the zombies therein.<br />
<br />
Of course, that doesn't make the video any less <em>dead sexy</em>. Check out the video after the jump to see the PlayStation Phone living up to its unofficial name, playing ROMs of <em>Resident Evil 2</em> and <em>Rage Racer</em>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/01/10/playstation-phone-caught-on-video-playing-unofficial-psone-andro/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>PlayStation Phone caught on video playing unofficial PSOne Android app</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/01/10/playstation-phone-caught-on-video-playing-unofficial-psone-andro/">PlayStation Phone caught on video playing unofficial PSOne Android app</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 10 Jan 2011 12:35:00 EST. <div align="left">Capcom is making good on its <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/04/capcom-preparing-to-release-between-20-and-40-ps1-and-psp-titles/">promise to release</a> a ridiculous amount of PSP and PS1 titles on the PSN and has announced, via the <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/07/01/capcom-classics-coming-to-psn-starting-tomorrow/">PS Blog</a>, the next batch of games that will be available to (re)purchase. <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/resident-evil">Resident Evil</a> </em>fans won't be disappointed with the rest of the PS1 franchise entries making their way to the PSN, alongside <em>Dino Crisis</em>. PSP fans will also get their hands on seven titles, including two <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/mega-man">Mega Man</a> </em>games, two <em>Capcom Classics</em> collections, <em>Darkstalkers</em> and <em>Power Stone Collection.</em> <br /><br />It's a pretty good bunch of games and you can see the full list after the break. Other than <em>Capcom Classics Remixed</em>, which releases in America this week, none of the other games have been dated for any territory, nor even confirmed for European release. We've contacted Capcom Europe to ask, but release dates for the US will be revealed on the PlayStation Blog over time.</div>

Capcom has seemingly dealt a swift and deadly blow to <a href="http://www.the-horror.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&amp;threadid=2314">rumor</a> of a <em>Resident Evil 2</em> remake (not <a href="http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/cube/residentevil2?q=resident%20evil%202">the port</a> again) for Wii that's allegedly been detailed in <em>Famitsu</em>.
