Also on WiiWare, Nintendo's still-weird Balance Board-equipped <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/rock-and-roll-climber"><em>Rock N' Roll Climber</em></a>, whose rock-climbing/air-guitar concept, and whose non-standard apostrophe use we'll never get used to.<br />
<br />
The big draw for us is the arcade brawler version of <em>Ninja Gaiden</em>, which seems fresh to us after 20 years of dodging eagles in the NES game.<br />

There is no way to feel anything less than <span style="font-style: italic;">amped</span> about a game that combines the dangerously awesome sport of rock climbing with the rebellious, implied <span style="font-style: italic;">rocking</span> of air guitar.<br /><br />After the break, you can see the full list. Spoiler alert: none of the demos involve rocking <em>or</em> rock climbing.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/10/this-week-on-the-nintendo-channel-rocking-on-rocks/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>This Week on the Nintendo Channel: Rocking on Rocks</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/10/this-week-on-the-nintendo-channel-rocking-on-rocks/">This Week on the Nintendo Channel: Rocking on Rocks</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 10 Aug 2009 17:25:00 EST. According to our liveblog, at the top of the rock wall, "The character reaches the top, picks up a guitar, and plays a single riff."<br /><br />This isn't entirely unexpected -- the title showed up on the ESRB database last week, but Nintendo apparently wasn't ready to tell us about it!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/03/25/gdc09-nintendo-reveals-rock-and-roll-climber/">GDC09: Nintendo reveals Rock and Roll Climber</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 25 Mar 2009 12:54:00 EST.
