Oh, not much, just creating an original animated trailer for <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/super-time-force"><em>Super TIME Force</em></a>, complete with an educational message about never giving up even if you're going to burn to death, because you can always just rewind time!<br /><br />Of course, no vintage cartoon - no matter how new it actually is - is complete without a totally awesome animal mascot, and Super TIME Force is no exception. But PAX goes for four days, you say - what about the rest of the weekend? We'll cover Saturday for you as well: "Videogame collective" Attract Mode and videogame apparel site Fangamer are teaming up to <a href="http://attractmo.de/fangamer-versus-attract-mode/">hold a great big live art and game show</a>, starting at 7pm on Saturday, September 1 in Seattle.<br /><br /><em>Cumulo Nimblers</em>, Capy's <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/super-time-force"><em>Super Time Force</em></a>, and Eric Zimmerman's <a href="http://www.metaga.me/"><em>Metagame</em></a> will all be there and playable, 8-bit artist Danimal Cannon and hip-hop gamer MegaRan (<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5ue7gh2lkk">he's good</a>) will provide the tunes, and the whole show will be drenched in <a href="http://attractmo.de/fangamer-versus-attract-mode-just-a-taste/">some of the best video-game related artwork</a> you'll find (and which you can see examples of in the gallery below). It'll be a rad time indeed; it's an all ages show that's open to the public, and admission is $5.<br /><br />The event starts at 7pm and goes until 11 on Saturday September 1, and you can find it at the 1927 Events space, at 1927 3rd Ave. in Seattle. As for your Friday and Sunday nights at PAX, well, you'll have to find your own party space for those.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fangamer-vs-attract-mode-pax-2012-art-show/">Fangamer vs. Attract Mode PAX 2012 Art Show</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fangamer-vs-attract-mode-pax-2012-art-show/#5238001"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/08/fgvsam024_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fangamer-vs-attract-mode-pax-2012-art-show/#5238002"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/08/fgvsam025_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fangamer-vs-attract-mode-pax-2012-art-show/#5238003"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/08/fgvsam013_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fangamer-vs-attract-mode-pax-2012-art-show/#5238004"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/08/fgvsam014_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/fangamer-vs-attract-mode-pax-2012-art-show/#5238005"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/08/fgvsam015_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/08/28/attract-mode-and-fangamer-host-all-ages-video-game-art-show-satu/">Attract Mode and Fangamer host all-ages video game art show Saturday night at PAX</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 28 Aug 2012 06:00:00 EST. Relax, that's not another Highlander in the vicinity, it's your body knowing that something special is about to happen. You're about to attend an awesome gaming convention and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/03/01/joystiq-show-live-at-pax-east/">possibly come hang with your pals at Joystiq</a>!<br /><br />Today, we're glad to report the show will be even better: Capybara Games will have a playable build of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/super-time-force"><em>Super T.I.M.E. Force</em></a> at its booth, the developer has <a href="http://www.capybaragames.com/2012/03/super-time-force-pax-east-screens-too/">revealed</a>. <em>Super T.I.M.E. Force</em> is <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/10/26/find-the-time-to-check-out-super-t-i-m-e-force/">an IGF 2012 entry</a> and won the XBLA prize this year, meaning we'll see it arrive on Xbox Live Arcade eventually.<br /><br />Capy will be situated at booth #764, so stop by if you want to play. You may have to push us out of the way, though -- fair warning and all of that.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/03/23/super-time-force-infiltrating-pax-east/">Super T.I.M.E. It's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/10/25/make-t-i-m-e-to-go-through-the-igf-2012-entries/">an IGF 2012 entry</a> and, now that we've seen it in action, easily one of our most anticipated games. <em>Super T.I.M.E. Force</em> looks like distilled chaos, only in space. With guns. And giant explosions. Obviously this teaser piqued our interest, so we talked to Capybara Games president Nathan Vella for some more info.<br />
<br />
He wouldn't budge on platforms, but told us we shouldn't expect to see this on iOS platforms. He told us he hopes to see the game in "lots of places," but "until we have ink on paper" he can't say with any kind of certainty.<br />
<br />
Vella says the idea for the game originated at the Toronto Game Jam, where three of Capy's guys came up with the concept. It's been expanded since, though Vella says there isn't a rush to get this out the door. The studio is taking its time with it, so don't expect to get your hands on it anytime soon.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/10/26/find-the-time-to-check-out-super-t-i-m-e-force/">Find the time to check out Super T.I.M.E. Want to browse through 568 of the best, most innovative, weirdest games you'll see this year? The Independent Game Festival has posted all of its entrants for the 2012 Main Competition, with screens, synopses and, in some cases, videos.<br />
<br />
We're staring at this list trying to figure out some way to sift through it. IGF chair Brandon Boyer, who had a headstart, has <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/brandonnn/status/128840442522501120">pointed out</a> a new game by <em>Sword &amp; Sworcery/Clash of Heroes </em>developer Capy, called <em><a href="http://www.igf.com/php-bin/entry2012.php?id=583">Super T.I.M.E. Force</a></em>, in which players "JUMP THROUGH TIME AND KILL STUFF THAT NEVER SHOULD'VE HAPPENED."<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/10/25/make-t-i-m-e-to-go-through-the-igf-2012-entries/">Make T.I.M.E. to go through the IGF 2012 entries</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 25 Oct 2011 13:15:00 EST.
