Yesterday <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/22/behold-the-joystiq-t-shirt-contest-winner/">we showed off</a> our prize-winning design by Mr. Josh Smith, which we're sure you're still reeling from. We hope, however, that you haven't completely stuffed your eyeballs because they'll want to feast on the design we're about to show you from our buddy, <a href="http://coryschmitz.com/">Cory Schmitz</a>.<br />
<br />
Not only does it just <em>look cool</em>, but it also features two references to the infamous Joystiq theme days. We love it a lot, and we hope you do too. Ready? OK.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/23/bear-witness-to-cory-schmitzs-joystiq-t-shirt-design/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Bear witness to Cory Schmitz's Joystiq T-shirt design</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/23/bear-witness-to-cory-schmitzs-joystiq-t-shirt-design/">Bear witness to Cory Schmitz's Joystiq T-shirt design</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 23 Sep 2011 12:05:00 EST. Ubisoft has collected the three issues of the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/assassins-creed-the-fall"><em>Assassin's Creed: The Fall</em></a> comic book into a trade paperback, which it's calling the "Deluxe Edition." Even if you've already read <em>The Fall</em>, Ubisoft wants to persuade you to buy this, even if only to get you ready to buy the next series, <a href="http://www.ubiworkshop.com/post/?pid=2942"><em>The Chain</em></a>. The book has a new ten-page epilogue meant to bridge the story between <em>The Fall</em> and <em>The Chain</em>, by Karl Kerschl and Cameron Stewart.<br />
<br />
If you only feel like reading <em>one</em> word, and want it on your chest instead of inside a book, UbiWorkshop has something for you as well. The store is now offering <a href="http://www.ubiworkshop.com/post/?pid=3723">t-shirts</a> with a circa-1980s Ubisoft logo, devised by people who were apparently <em>way into</em> the MTV aesthetic.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/20/assassins-creed-the-fall-deluxe-edition-retro-ubi-shirts-on-ub/">Assassin's Creed The Fall Deluxe Edition, retro Ubi shirts on UbiWorkshop</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 20 Sep 2011 22:40:00 EST. Between your comments and the input of Team Joystiq, we've narrowed the Joystiq T-shirt Contest down to just six finalists. Exciting, we know! But before we pick the winner, we're looking for one last round of input from you guys and gals.<br />
<br />
We don't necessarily need to know your favorite, we're more looking for your thoughts on each of the designs. Which would you simply wear and which would you buy multiples of in case of mud fight or run-by fruiting?<br />
<br />
We'll be picking the winner -- who'll receive a console of their choice and five games -- soon, so let us know!<br />

We've painstakingly compiled a gallery of all <strong>118</strong> entrants in our <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/22/design-a-joystiq-shirt-and-win-a-console-with-games/">Joystiq T-shirt design contest</a>. Now, this is where you come in: We need your feedback on the entries! You'll see the number of each design in the gallery (make sure you click through the whole thing). Just comment below with that number and a brief bit about <em>why</em> it's your favorite. Why does it make your heart thrum with passion? Why does it fill your blood with <em>desire</em>?<br />
<br />
This isn't really a vote, but how you guys and girls feel about the designs is going to be a huge factor in which winner we select. And since the victor will not only enter the annals of Joystiq history, but also win a game console with five games, there's a lot on the line.<br />
<br />
Note: We didn't want to bias you by making them too prominent, but if you check the file name on any image, you'll be able to find out the artist's name. Thanks so much to everyone that entered. We don't think we're overstating our point by saying we were honestly moved by some of the love put into these images.<br />

We're sure you're <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/22/design-a-joystiq-shirt-and-win-a-console-with-games/">already feverishly working</a> on your T-shirt designs for Joystiq; we just wanted to remind you that you've only got until Sunday to submit yours. One winner is going to get their T-shirt made by Joystiq and get a console of their choice with five randomly selected games, so get to designing. Complete rules and submission guidelines are after the break.<br />
<br />
Just a note: Don't feel like you have to prominently feature our logo. As <a href="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/09/petermolyneuxjoystiqtshirt200607.jpg?500">our boy Petey M.</a> demonstrates, our last winner had a really cool image with the Joystiq name just sort of lovingly placed at the side. Good luck!<br />
<br />
(Update: Technically, the winner of our T-shirt contest in 2006 was Mr. Philip Palermo. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/04/21/the-2006-joystiq-t-shirt/">Here's his great shirt</a>.)<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/01/reminder-design-a-joystiq-t-shirt-and-win-a-console-with-games/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Reminder: Design a Joystiq T-shirt and win a console with games!</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/01/reminder-design-a-joystiq-t-shirt-and-win-a-console-with-games/">Reminder: Design a Joystiq T-shirt and win a console with games!</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 01 Sep 2011 16:30:00 EST. Get a jump on <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/monaco"><em>Monaco</em></a> fandom by buying merch in advance of the game's release -- even in advance of any announcement of a release! Pocketwatch Games is <a href="http://www.facebook.com/MonacoIsMine?sk=app_135607783795">taking orders</a> on <em>Monaco</em> t-shirts, in order to help support the ongoing development of the heist game. It's a gesture of courtesy, considering the team has all the inspiration it needs for moneymaking initiatives <em>right in the game</em>.<br />
<br />
Pocketwatch is selling the t-shirts under a "pay what you want" model, sort of like the <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/humble-indie-bundle">Humble Indie Bundle</a>, but for a more tangible, wearable bundle. You have to pay at least $8 for the shirt and $6 shipping to cover costs, but you're free to throw in as much extra as you like. If you pay $19 or more, you'll get a button; $94 or more gets you a set of four. And the developers get to continue eating food while making <em>Monaco</em>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/07/28/pay-what-you-want-for-a-monaco-shirt/">Pay what you want for a Monaco shirt</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 28 Jul 2011 11:00:00 EST. You pre-ordered a copy of <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/portal-2"><em>Portal 2 </em></a>from Amazon, then bought another one from Steam, and you paid $40 for the Potato Sack just to ensure you'd get the game ASAP. Maybe you also stood in line for a copy last night. Now that you have the game, it's becoming more difficult to find ways to give Valve your money.<br />
<br />
Don't worry, though, you aren't being forced into financial responsibility just yet. Valve has added a dangerous amount of new <em>Portal 2</em> merchandise to its online store, including: ten new <a href="http://store.valvesoftware.com/index.php?t=1&amp;g=9">t-shirts</a>, a track jacket, a tank top, a hoodie, thirteen <a href="http://store.valvesoftware.com/index.php?t=3&amp;g=9">prints</a>, and a <a href="http://store.valvesoftware.com/index.php?t=2&amp;g=9">pint glass</a> for good measure (of one pint).<br />
<br />
You're going to be so deep into debt with Valve that <em>you'll</em> have to seek extra work as a test subject.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/04/19/portal-2-stuff-ready-for-transport-to-you-not-by-portal-unfort/">Portal 2 stuff ready for transport to you (not by portal, unfortunately)</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 19 Apr 2011 12:30:00 EST. Ohhh ... <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/03/22/giant-ar-card-used-to-create-a-mega-mii/"><em>right</em></a>. Or maybe drawing one on a whiteboard? But you've <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/04/01/great-news-the-3ds-will-recognize-a-giant-ar-card-drawn-on-a-wh/">already done that too</a>? Okay, okay, we've got it -- you could wear one like a shirt! Wait, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/03/22/first-3000-european-3ds-registrants-become-walking-ar-cards/">what?!</a> <em>Dammit!</em><br />
<br />
Well, anyway, assuming you weren't one of the first 3,000 European 3DS registrants to receive Nintendo's bonus AR t-shirt, Level Up Studios has you covered! The company's $18 black t-shirt comes adorned with the same question mark block seen on the official Nintendo equivalent, only a bit larger (and nicer looking, we'd say).<br />
<br />
Head past the break for a video of the shirt in terrifying live action.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/04/09/birth-a-dragon-from-your-chest-with-this-3ds-ar-card-t-shirt/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Birth a dragon from your chest with this 3DS AR card t-shirt</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/04/09/birth-a-dragon-from-your-chest-with-this-3ds-ar-card-t-shirt/">Birth a dragon from your chest with this 3DS AR card t-shirt</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 09 Apr 2011 10:30:00 EST. ThinkGeek is selling two officially-licensed t-shirts, one <a href="http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts-apparel/unisex/gaming/e71d/">featuring the Creeper</a> and another <a href="http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts-apparel/unisex/gaming/e713/">bearing the logo</a> of a fictitious Crafters union. Each shirt is available for $20 in sizes up to XL, with XXL and XXXL versions available for an additional dollar per X.<br />
<br />
Either is a great gift for the <em>Minecraft</em> fan in your life -- but if you don't have the money for t-shirts, you can always give the thoughtful gift of personal assurance that monsters can't knock your house over.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/13/minecraft-shirts/">Official t-shirts provide uniforms for Minecrafting</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 13 Dec 2010 23:00:00 EST. Perhaps later, when the company actually reveals what this design (featuring "an old-time soviet exoskeleton?") is about, you'll be really cool for having the shirt even before it became a thing.<br />
<br />
The design comes from UbiWorkshop's Concept Lab. Ubi's Julien Cuny teased some of the possible destinations for these images: "A comic book? Animated movie? Or live-action? A novel maybe? Anime? I don't know... a boardgame? Again, it's obviously not a video game..." Obviously? Again? The only "answer" provided is, "The best Superheroes are the ones you've never heard of," which suggests that the new property is about Batman erasing the entire world's memory.<br />
<br />
The shirt will only be <a href="http://ubiworkshop.myshopify.com/collections/all/products/design1">offered</a> through December 6, for $20 CAD (also about $20 USD).<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/26/ubiworkshop-selling-mysterious-superhero-concept-art-on-shirts/">UbiWorkshop selling mysterious 'superhero' concept art on shirts</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 26 Nov 2010 18:00:00 EST. Look, everyone should own a piece of apparel with a Chocobo on it, alright? That's just a scientific fact. We can't imagine doing better than <a href="http://riptapparel.com/shirt/11/10/2010/hold-your-chocobos">this entry</a> on democratic T-shirt retailer RIPT: Titled "Hold Your Chocobos," the shirt features the graphic above and, for today only, will cost you just $10.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/10/this-chocobo-shirt-is-something-we-would-like-to-own/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>This Chocobo shirt is something we would like to own</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/10/this-chocobo-shirt-is-something-we-would-like-to-own/">This Chocobo shirt is something we would like to own</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 10 Nov 2010 12:45:00 EST. Come get some background on Randy Pitchford's back-in-fashion Duke Nukem shirt, seen above:<br />
<br />
"I moved to Texas and became a professional game maker to join Allen Blum, he created<em> Duke Nukem 3D,</em>" the Gearbox co-founder told an audience at PAX. "He and Todd Replogle in Southern California, freaking invented this whole damned thing. And I moved out to Texas to join him and George Broussard and Scott Miller, and all the guys on the team, so that I could be part of <em>Duke Nukem 3</em>D. Because I wanted to add to that. I thought it was awesome; it was really fun and I wanted to be part of that team.<br />
<br />
"This t-shirt I'm wearing, George gave me this t-shirt in 1996," Pitchford continued, now speaking as part of the team that now hopes to complete <em>Duke Nukem Forever</em>. "And we've been waiting for this game ever since. Guys like Alan didn't want to let the Duke dream die. They've worked their butts off all this time making great stuff."<br />

"Clicking out beats to the <em>Mario</em> tunes with disposable pens" sounds a lot less impressive and awesome than <a href="http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1927227">this video actually is</a>, so you might as well go ahead and check the video after the break to watch for yourself. We can't help think that Shane has better things to do, but this is what <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9eA1JyTnz0&amp;feature=related">the kids are up to nowadays</a>, we guess. No more useless than <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pogs">pogs</a> were back in the nineties, and a lot cheaper to boot.<br />
<br />
A better question might be: Where can we get that T-shirt? Our extensive Google-searching turned up <a href="http://www.myteespot.com/Mario-p-1-c-61-all.html">lots of great Mario shirts</a>, but we couldn't find that one for sale. If you see it online, let us know in the comments below.<br />

<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Rockstar/">Rockstar</a> has <a href="http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/2009/11/23/2291/new_ballad_of_gay_tony_t-shirts_at_the_rockstar_warehouse">unleashed</a> some brand new <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/grand-theft-auto-iv"><em>Grand Theft Auto IV</em></a> T-shirts, giving fans of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/the-ballad-of-gay-tony"><em>The Ballad of Gay Tony</em></a> a reason to hit the floor show off their best moves. Available for $20 each, the shirts depict the logos of two of the DLC's nightclubs, <a href="http://www.rockstargames.com/warehouse/">Hercules</a> and <a href="http://www.rockstargames.com/warehouse/">Bahama Mamas</a>. If you've been looking to make a super hip fashion statement ... well, you probably shouldn't be buying video game T-shirts. During the last day of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/TGS-2009/">TGS 2009</a>, Microsoft was handing out free (and stylish!) UNSC-branded t-shirts to gamers willing to wait in line to play (the already released) <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Halo-3-ODST/"><em>Halo 3: ODST</em></a>. For their effort, gamers seemed to enjoy the reward of partaking in local multiplayer sessions of <em>ODST</em>'s Firefight mode. <br />

Check out a closer look at the shirt after the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/27/tgs-2009-wait-to-play-halo-3-odst-get-unsc-threads/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>TGS 2009: Wait to play Halo 3: ODST, get UNSC threads</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/27/tgs-2009-wait-to-play-halo-3-odst-get-unsc-threads/">TGS 2009: Wait to play Halo 3: ODST, get UNSC threads</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 27 Sep 2009 01:00:00 EST. Alright, look. When <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/persona-3-portable"><em>Persona 3 Portable</em></a> is released in Japan, it's going to be attached to an exorbitantly large 6,279 yen ($68) price tag. As long as you're shelling out so much dough for the title, why not kick that total up to 8,495 yen ($92) and spring for the game's limited edition bundle?<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2009/09/21/the-stuff-inside-the-persona-3-portable-dx-pack/">Siliconera recently uncovered</a> the bonus items included in the aptly titled <em>Persona 3 Portable DX</em> bundle: A <em>Persona</em>-branded t-shirt (seen above), 12 PSP jacket-sized character posters, and a 2010 desk calendar. You know what would've been a great addition to this bundle? Some <em>Persona 3</em> papercraft made out of three 1,000 yen banknotes. Now <em>that's</em> a collector's item.<br />

Let's be honest: this shirt isn't all too cool. That's a shame, considering we love our <em>PixelJunk</em>, and would love to wear some tees showing off our fandom. This rather uninspired shirt is from premium t-shirt maker The King of Games, and will cost a premium price: 3800円 (about $40). Considering the stylish look of all the <em>PixelJunk</em> games so far, we have to admit we're disappointed by this offering. Thankfully, an equally priced <em>PixelJunk Eden Encore</em> t-shirt is a bit more eye catching.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.destructoid.com/the-king-of-games-unveils-sexy-pixeljunk-t-shirts-137457.phtml">Destructoid</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/27/show-off-your-pixeljunk-with-boring-expensive-tees/">Show off your PixelJunk with boring, expensive tees</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 27 Jun 2009 10:45:00 EST. The winner of the E3 2009 T-shirt contest is Christine Sununu of The Granite State (New Hampshire). The garment will be available for purchase during the show, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Midnight Mission, an LA-based organization helping the homeless.<br /><br />Also, as a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/06/esa-holding-charity-events-during-e3/">reminder</a>, the Red Cross will have a blood drive on site (you do not to be an attendee to donate), but you have to make an appointment. Go to www.givelife.com and enter E3 as the sponsor code to set up an appointment. The donations will take place on the concourse breezeway between the west and south hall ... so, no, it won't grant access to the show. But, remember, you can <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/19/strategize-the-e3-2009-floor-plans/">always try to find other ways</a> in.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/28/official-e3-2009-t-shirt-revealed-reminder-of-blood-drive/">Official E3 2009 T-shirt revealed, reminder of blood drive</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 28 May 2009 14:30:00 EST. Your wardrobe could use a bit more gamer chic. One of Japan's more popular clothing brands is introducing a new line of t-shirts in collaboration with a number of gaming companies. The store is offering tees based on <em>Sonic the Hedgehog</em>, <em>Mega-Man</em>, <em>PaRappa the Rapper</em>, <em>LittleBigPlanet</em>, <em>Resident Evil</em> and more. The shirts retail for 1500 yen (about $15) each.<br /><br />The designs are simple, often featuring very subtle references to these gaming franchises . This way, you can make a nerdy statement without actually having to <em>look like one</em>.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.offworld.com/2009/04/uniqlo-games-tees-the-rest.html">Offworld</a>]<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ut-japan-game/">UT Japan>Game</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ut-japan-game/#1505433"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/09_057519_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ut-japan-game/#1505432"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/09_057435_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ut-japan-game/#1505431"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/09_057189_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ut-japan-game/#1505430"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/09_056069_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ut-japan-game/#1505429"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/09_056065_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/20/uniqlo-launches-new-line-of-gamer-tees/">Uniqlo launches new line of gamer tees</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 20 Apr 2009 20:45:00 EST. The first reviews are appearing for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/14/le-blob/"><em>de Blob</em></a>, and they're <a href="http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=243226">really</a><em> </em><a href="http://uk.wii.ign.com/articles/911/911521p1.html">good</a>. We should all buy it, in other words, but it's worth mentioning that a couple of retailers are willing to <em>bribe</em> you to purchase your copy from them. <a href="http://www.bestbuy.com/site//olspage.jsp?id=1215819389015&amp;skuId=8947358&amp;type=product">Best Buy</a>, for example, is offering customers a free and also very yellow <em>de Blob</em> T-shirt (pictured <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/media/2008/09/de-blob-shirt-98254.jpg">here</a>). It's rather nice, in our opinion. We'd <em>definitely</em> wear it in public, and we're <em>extraordinarily fashionable</em> people. Meanwhile, <a href="http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/Search.do?c=1&amp;searchType=user&amp;keyword=Wii:%20De%20Blob&amp;searchSection=All#&amp;Key=85">Circuit City</a> is giving away copies of the <em>de Blob</em> soundtrack, which is <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/08/de-blob-moving-as-quickly-as-de-blur/">happy and catchy and jazzy</a>.<br /><br />Wherever you purchase it from, we just hope de Blob sells <em>some copies</em>. We're tired of the myth that the Wii lacks quality third-party releases, but also tired of people not buying <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/zack-and-wiki">said</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/no-more-heroes">games</a>.<br /><br />[<u>Update</u>: Brits take note: <em>de Blob</em> is a measly &pound;18 at <a href="http://www.play.com/Games/Wii/4-/3593386/-/Product.html?searchstring=De+Blob&amp;searchsource=0">Play</a> -- thanks, Nigeria!]<br /><br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/09/23/de-blob-comes-with-de-freebies/">de Blob comes with de Freebies [Update 1]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 23 Sep 2008 17:19:00 EST. <div align="left"><a href="http://www.jinx.com/fall_2008_line.aspx">J!NX</a> unveiled its new fall line of clothing (read: mostly geek shirts, and a few hoodies) during the clamorous din of PAX, and we thought we'd pass it along to you. They don't have much directly in the way of video gaming except for the <a href="http://www.jinx.com/jinx_fall_2008_line/men/invaders_fitted.html?catid=111&amp;cs=2&amp;csd=111">old-school shirt above</a>, but it's pretty darn 8-bitty. <br /><br />So, it's you're looking for more geekwear, hit the link and start shopping. Although, are geek t-shirts about to hit the "enough already" stage? It seems like everywhere you go there's a "Wish You Were Beer," or a "Darth Vader Does It On The Dark Side" shirt. In the future, archaeologists will dig up people clothed in these shirts and think we were either highly evolved, or incredibly stupid.</div>

In keeping with the retro-y spirit of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/mega-man-9"><em>Mega Man 9</em></a>, Capcom decided to commission <a href="http://www.iam8bit.net/">I Am 8-bit</a> artist <a href="http://www.geralddejesus.com/home.html">Gerald de Jesus</a> to create the most awful faux box art possible for the game. Capcom then put it on T-shirts for its staff to wear at E3. The idea was to mimic the <a href="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/ea/MegamanBox.jpg">atrocious cover</a> of the original <em>Mega Man</em> for NES (widely considered to be the worst box art of all time) and it worked. <em>Really</em> well.<br /> <br /> Capcom's head PR honcho, Chris Kramer, has <a href="http://www.capcom-unity.com/kramez/blog/2008/07/22/mega_man_9_">updated the company's blog</a> with word that the exceedingly kitsch shirts will actually be re-printed for sale to the masses, although exactly when and where we can expect to snap one up is still being ironed <strike>on</strike> out.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/23/capcom-to-sell-intentionally-awful-mega-man-9-shirts/">Capcom to sell intentionally awful Mega Man 9 shirts</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 23 Jul 2008 01:00:00 EST. It's true, Take-Em-Out is the easiest way to have fun!<br /><br />If there wasn't any reason to pick up <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/22/carnival-games-officially-announced/"><em>Carnival Games</em></a> before, is the promise of a free t-shirt going to tip the scales in Wal-Mart's favor? Well, probably - <em>Carnival Games</em> is one popular piece of software, free T-shirt or not. If you buy (and wear) this, hundreds of Wii owners are sure to point and nod approvingly. Best of all, there's even <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/11/more-carnival-games-come-to-the-wii/">more opportunities</a> on the horizon to become popular with the Carnies.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://gonintendo.com/?p=46456">GoNintendo</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/17/get-back-at-carnival-folk-by-scoring-free-stuff/">Get back at Carnival folk by scoring free stuff</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 17 Jun 2008 18:00:00 EST. As it stands, you currently have a few front-runner options: John McCain, Barack Obama, or ... Mario and Luigi?<br /><br />Yes, the joke's been done before (especially because of the nine thousand <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/mario-party/"><em>Mario Party</em></a> games out there), but now it's on a t-shirt. Yet, that's not where Nintendo stops interfering in politics.<br /><br />Supporters of presidential candidate (and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/26/barack-rocks-the-check-mii-out-channel/">popular Mii</a>), Barack Obama, have made a ton of 1up themed paraphernalia endorsing the candidate. The "O" in "Obama" was replaced with the green power-up, and the slogan reads, "Obama: 1up for America." Check past the break (or just <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/13/obama-and-mccain-face-stiff-competition/">click here</a>) to see the design made by the Leftique.<br /><br />Now all we need is some game gear for McCain, and Nintendo will have completely taken over this election.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/13/obama-and-mccain-face-stiff-competition/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Obama and McCain face stiff competition</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/13/obama-and-mccain-face-stiff-competition/">Obama and McCain face stiff competition</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 13 Jun 2008 22:00:00 EST. Even though it's been far too long since we've seen the classic Blue Bomber in action, Capcom knows how much gamers love the little fella. That's why they're selling this simple but delightful Mega Man shirt at <a href="http://shop.capcom.com/DRHM/servlet/ControllerServlet?Action=DisplayProductDetailsPage&amp;SiteID=capcomus&amp;Locale=en_US&amp;Env=BASE&amp;productID=103977600">their online store</a>.<br /><br />This fabricized ode to the lovable robot will set you back $18 (not including Capcom's usually exorbitant shipping prices), but can you really put a price on nostalgia? Unfortunately, though, the website won't let you buy the shirt at present. Perhaps it's already sold out?<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://blog.capcom.com/archives/1176">Capcom's Blog</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/01/capcom-offers-mega-mega-man-shirt/">Capcom offers mega Mega Man shirt</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 01 May 2008 18:00:00 EST. There are many reasons to desire a shirt emblazoned with the countenance of Sega's spiky, azure mascot -- perhaps as a celebratory measure following the formal announcement of Sonic's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/sonic-unleashed/">upcoming 2D/3D adventure, <span style="font-style: italic;">Sonic Unleashed</span></a>. Maybe you want to want to make <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7vu8avv9kc">your own personal Jaleelitude</a> known to the world. Or just maybe, you want to warn could-be attackers that <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGVl-Hc2jE0">you've seen the Sonic PSAs</a>, and that you know how to protect your bathing suit area from uncomfortable touches.<br />
<br />
Such a shirt exists, as do a number of other garments featuring characters from other Sega mainstays (such as Virtua Fighter and House of the Dead) <a href="http://store.uniqlo.com/jp/store/feature/ut/sega/">from a Japanese clothier named UNIQLO</a> -- unfortunately, said tees are only available in Japan. However, as our <a href="http://www.nintendowiifanboy.com/2008/04/09/japanese-retailer-uniqlo-celebrates-sega/">controller-waggling brethren at Wii Fanboy discovered</a>, UNIQLO has stores in the UK and in New York -- so at least we can hope for a timely port.<br />

Gaming apparel. It's often only attainable through various <a href="http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts/gaming/">specialty websites</a> or other, more dastardly means. It appears that things are about to change, at least regarding indie games, as retailer Target is now carrying gaming apparel. Even better, each shirt only costs $12 <em>and comes with a full version of the game</em>. As you can see in the above picture, we think <em>World of Goo </em>is awesome. Also, you can see other gaming-related shirts. <br /><br />As for whether your local Target is supporting this, unless you live in California, we can't tell you. Target has, for some reason, only included a list of CA stores carrying the merch. For that list, head past the break.<br /><br /><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/27/goo-up-your-torso-for-a-couple-bucks-at-target/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Goo up your torso for a couple bucks at Target</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/27/goo-up-your-torso-for-a-couple-bucks-at-target/">Goo up your torso for a couple bucks at Target</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 27 Mar 2008 22:35:00 EST. Gamers can do anything -- and this t-shirt, currently available from Etsy seller disrepair, proves it. This would be a good thing to have on hand the next time someone starts disparaging gamers as useless members of society who lose and start committing random acts of violence. You could just tear open your hoodie and thrust out your chest, superhero-style. <br /><br />Or maybe that's just an us thing.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/13/because-gaming-is-inspirational/">Because gaming is inspirational</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 13 Dec 2007 16:00:00 EST. While the themed coverage will continue through Sunday, this is the last of our week long edition of Show and Tell. We're as sad as you are, and we didn't even get through everyone's submissions! If you didn't see your stuff featured here, don't fret -- we'll continue to take our weekly look at your gaming gear, and so there's still plenty of chances for us to revisit some of this week's submissions.<br /><br />As for today's edition, we wanted to focus on the biggest and the best -- and that means collections. Some of you had some really nice sets of <em>Zelda</em> gear, and this day's for you. Check out the gallery below to see everything, including half of reader Kimya's collection. Yes, half -- the other half is back home in Spain, but she has a <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/kimya/sets/72157600161793020/">Flickr set</a> she keeps adding things to as well. We said wow.<br /><br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/05/show-and-tell-zelda-week-day-five/">Show and Tell: Zelda week, day five</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 05 Oct 2007 18:00:00 EST. T-shirts are popular, of course, but we've seen <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/spugmeistress/676685013/in/set-72157600575815263/">jewelry</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/01/show-and-tell-zelda-week-day-one/">more</a> in the past. There is no limit to creativity when it comes to draping our bodies with game gear, which is why today's Show and Tell is dedicated to wearable items of all types. We've got quite a few specimens after the jump -- so check 'em out!<br /><br />Do you have some awesome <em>Zelda</em> gear? Anything from t-shirts to tattoos, to statues and standees, if it features Link, we want to help you show it off. Snap some pics and send 'em to <strong>showmeit <strong>[at]</strong> dsfanboy [dot] com</strong>. This is the shirt Microsoft was handing out to attendees at their Community and International Press Party. All they had left by the time we strolled in were mediums, but we'll be giving this shirt away to one lucky reader who can hopefully squeeze their massive girth into its slim width. Our remedial Japanese translates the text as "Save Cortana." <div align="left">It's easy to forget that brothers Mario and Luigi actually have day jobs, since they're so busy driving go karts, smashing mushrooms, and playing <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/10/boo-mario-is-wonderful/">dress-up</a>, but this shirt serves as a reminder that the dynamic duo can <em>also</em> take care of those pesky U-bend clogs for you. We're slowly gathering entries for our yet-to-be-announced <em>Phoenix Wright</em> Shirt Makers' Club. These elite <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/crafts">crafters </a>have decided to express their fandom for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Capcom/">Capcom</a>'s graphic <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/adventure/">adventure</a> series and its characters in the most reverent way they know: by giving Phoenix Wright a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/01/02/diy-make-your-own-phoenix-wright-shirt/">place of honor</a> on the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/01/11/yet-another-phoenix-wright-shirt-we-want/">front of a t-shirt</a>. <br /><br />The latest, from reader Maxy, goes beyond the limitations of home crafting. Maxy's sister has access to professional apparel-printing machinery at a uniform company, and transferred this iconic image of Phoenix on what looks like a 3/4 sleeve baseball shirt. Maya Fey, as pictured on the <a href="http://www.ncsxshop.com/cgi-bin/shop/NTR-P-AGYJ-N.html"><em>Gyakuten Saiban </em>boxart</a>, appears on the back. It's kind of unfair that we can't follow Maxy's example and make one of these! It may be unfair enough to warrant an OBJECTION! <br /><br />No, it's just kind of unfair.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/17/more-fan-created-phoenix-wright-ace-apparel/">More fan-created Phoenix Wright: Ace Apparel</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 17 Jul 2007 11:50:00 EST.
