<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/tales-of-graces"><em>Tales of Graces</em></a> and a new, currently unnamed <em>Tales of</em> title are on the way to PlayStation 3, according to info leaked from Japanese mag <em>Jump</em> (translated by <a href="http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2010/07/28/new_tales_for_ps3/">Andriasang</a>). <em>Tales of Graces F</em> will be the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/27/tales-of-vesperia-blu-ray-unlocks-additional-ps3-content/">second</a> entry in Namco Bandai's popular RPG series to ditch platform exclusivity before undergoing enhancement for PS3. The formerly Wii-exclusive title will get a facelift and some added features before it debuts in Japan this winter (possibly to the sound of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/08/japanese-gamer-breaks-disc-and-burns-magazine-article-over-vespe/">snapping game discs</a>).<br />
<br />
Namco has also revealed plans to release <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/tales-of-the-world/">Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3</a></em> on PSP sometime in 2011. We'll let you know as soon as the publisher shares its plans for North America and Europe.<br />
<br />
<strong>Update</strong>: Namco currently has no plans to release "<em>Tales of Graces</em> (PS3)" in North America.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/28/tales-of-graces-coming-to-ps3-new-tales-game-revealed/">Tales of Graces coming to PS3, new Tales game revealed</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 28 Jul 2010 12:00:00 EST. Sales for PSP titles in Japan were strong in the month of February according to data collected by <a href="http://www.famitsu.com/game/rank/monthly/1222413_1818.html">Famitsu</a> (via <a href="http://psp.ign.com/articles/958/958285p1.html">IGN</a>). Four PSP games dominated the top ten, while two of them crowned the top three. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/tales-of-the-world-2"><em>Tales of the World 2: Radiant Mythology</em></a>, which had been at <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/12/tales-of-the-world-and-demons-souls-takes-top-spots-in-japanese-c/">number one</a> for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/09/tales-of-the-world-and-pes-2009-dominate-japanese-sales-charts/">several weeks</a>, is unsurprisingly the strongest seller for February at 288,860 units . It had beaten the month's other top portable role-playing game, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/mario-and-luigi-rpg-3"><em>Mario &amp; Luigi RPG 3</em></a>, by a mere 10K units but had a two-week lead. Konami's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/winning-eleven"><em>Winning Eleven 2009</em></a> for PSP took third place with 177,399 units sold.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/idolmaster/"><em>Idolmaster SP</em></a>, which released in three different versions, ranked-in only at #7. Meanwhile, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/monster-hunter-portable-2nd-g/"><em>Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G</em></a> stays in the top ten at #9. Yeah, you read that right. It's still selling massively, despite being a year old. It just edged out fellow <a href="http://nintendo.joystiq.com/2009/01/07/3-million-copies-of-wii-fit-sold-in-japan/">three-million-club member</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/wii-fit"><em>Wii Fit</em></a> at #10 by 16K units. Check after the break for the full top ten and their respective sales numbers. <br /><br />[Via <a href="http://psp.ign.com/articles/958/958285p1.html">IGN</a>]<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/03/02/japans-february-software-charts-dominated-by-psp-games/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Japan's February software charts dominated by PSP games</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/03/02/japans-february-software-charts-dominated-by-psp-games/">Japan's February software charts dominated by PSP games</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 02 Mar 2009 18:00:00 EST. The currently Japan-only PSP RPG, <em>Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2</em>, is growing far beyond just the <em>Tales</em> universe. The all-star lineup of Namco Bandai stars expands in new downloadable content, which allows players to get costumes from <em>Soulcalibur</em> and <em>Legend of Valkyrie</em>. According to <a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2009/02/17/soulcalibur-mythology-part-of-tales-of-the-world-radiant-mythology-2/">Siliconera</a>, most of these costumes have been free.<br /><br />We're pretty certain that Namco Bandai will bring this game over to the US, DLC intact. It seems as though PSP owners will need to get ready for a new era of DLC and microtransactions.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/18/tales-of-the-world-gets-soulcalibur-themed-dlc/">Tales of the World gets Soulcalibur-themed DLC</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 18 Feb 2009 11:30:00 EST. It seems as though nothing can stop the PSP in Japan. The top two releases in Japan last week are both PSP titles. <em>Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2</em>, Namco Bandai's PSP-exclusive fan service RPG, takes the top spot with over 212,000 units sold in one week. The PSP version of <em>Pro Evolution Soccer 2009</em> also made a strong debut in the second spot, with over 109,000 units sold.<br /><br />These numbers impress, and continue to reflect the startling difference between the Japanese and American PSP markets. What kind of game would make American gamers go wild for the PSP, in the same way <em>Monster Hunter</em> has?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/09/tales-of-the-world-and-pes-2009-dominate-japanese-sales-charts/">Tales of the World &amp; PES 2009 dominate Japanese sales charts</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 09 Feb 2009 12:30:00 EST. <p>The TGS trailer for the upcoming PSP fanservice RPG, <em>Tales of the World 2</em>, is rather epic. Once again, this game features a number of characters from various games in the <em>Tales</em> universe. With the current popularity of PSP, and Japan's eternal love for the franchise, this will undoubtedly be a best-seller.</p>

It looks like <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/tales-of-the-world-2/"><em>Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2</em></a> has all its cameo characters accounted for. The popular ensemble of 19 guest characters from other <em>Tales</em> games will return in <em>Tales of the World 2</em>. Not only that, but it looks like they're also bringing <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/08/tales-of-the-world-2-is-a-rpg-made-for-you/">additional friends</a> to the party. Some of the newer cameos belong to Cless Alvein from <em>Tales of Phantasia</em>, and Presea Combatir from <em>Tales of Symphonia</em>. There are more screens of other characters over at <a href="http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/game/docs/20080723/pm2.htm?ref=rss">GameWatch</a>, do you recognize anyone?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/23/new-tales-of-the-world-screens-exude-fan-service/">New Tales of the World 2 screens exude fan service</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 23 Jul 2008 13:00:00 EST. <p>It's time for more fanservice! <em>Tales of the World 2</em> looks to bring even more traditional <em>Tales</em> battles to the handheld. The original looked good, but this sequel looks visually better in our eyes. With free DLC, and tons of characters, this RPG looks like it'll sweep the Japanese charts yet again.</p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/12/tales-of-the-world-2-debut-trailer/">Tales of the World 2 debut trailer</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 12 Jul 2008 12:00:00 EST. A few more details about <em>Tales of the World 2</em> were revealed today. The upcoming PSP sequel will be developed by Alfa System, the team responsible for both the first <em>Tales of the World</em> game and the PSP <em>Phantasy Star Portable</em>. According to producer Ryuuji Ohdate, the sequel is an "RPG made for you," as it's mostly constructed by user feedback.<br /><br />The number of characters in the game has been upped from 19 to 49, and the new character creation system is far more expansive than ever. Just like <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/category/monster-hunter/"><em>Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G</em></a>, the title will feature regular free DLC -- a tactic that has worked marvelously for Capcom.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.psphyper.com/psp/early-details-of-tales-of-the-world-radiant-mythology-2/">PSPHyper</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/08/tales-of-the-world-2-is-a-rpg-made-for-you/">Tales of the World 2 is a 'RPG made for you'</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 08 Jul 2008 18:49:00 EST. <div align="left">The first screenshots from <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/tales-of-the-world-2"><em>Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2</em></a> have been released by <a href="http://www.famitsu.com/game/news/1216408_1124.html">Famitsu</a> on their website, along with a single one from <a href="http://news.dengeki.com/elem/000/000/091/91138/">Dengeki Online</a>. The official site has also been launched <a href="http://namco-ch.net/radiantmythology2/index.php">here</a>, even though there isn't any information in it other than the game is slated for a winter release in Japan. It also appears Veigue from <em>Tales of Rebirth </em>will make an appearance. There isn't much to go by at this point, but take a look at the three screenshots over at <a href="http://www.psphyper.com/psp/tales-of-the-world-radiant-mythology-2-first-screens/">PSPHyper</a>.<br />

<div align="left">Surprise, surprise -- a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/talesoftheworld"><em>Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2</em></a> has been announced in Japan. We were pleasantly surprised to see in this week's issue of Shonen Jump details on another <em>Radiant Mythology</em> game. Details are scarce at this point, but like the previous Tales of the World games, it is a crossover title with characters from different <em>Tales</em> games. The character count is reportedly over 50, more than double the less than 20 characters of the first game. Even the formerly exclusive Xbox 360 character Yuri Lowell from <a href="http://xbox.joystiq.com/tag/tales-of-vesperia"><em>Tales of Vesperia</em></a> is in it. Take a look at the other characters in the scan over at <a href="http://www.psphyper.com/psp/tales-of-the-world-to-shine-on-psp-again/">PSPHyper</a>. The first <em>Radiant Mythology</em> title was released in the US, so we are hoping this sequel does the same. Stay tuned for more info!<br /><br />[Thanks, <a href="http://symphonicheaven.com/">Shawn</a> and Saigon!]</div>
