De Lancie is, of course, known for his part as "Q" in the James Bond series, aiding Bond in his interstellar travels of exploration and diplomacy. Or he was a popular Star Trek character -- one of the two.<br /><br />Anyway, De Lancie is playing the part of Professor Fitz Quadrangle, advising the main character on gameplay and ushering story points forward (he is, after all, stuck in an alternate dimension, anxiously awaiting your help). De Lancie details his role and offers a taste of his voice work in the latest teaser, seen above.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/04/04/quantum-conundrum-gets-an-extra-q/">Quantum Conundrum gets an extra Q</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 04 Apr 2012 16:00:00 EST. A <a href="http://www.elshaddai-sb.jp/">teaser site</a> has launched showcasing concept art for five new characters, two of which bear a striking (albeit <em>distinctly female</em>) resemblance to Lucifel and Enoch from the first game.<br /><br />The text in front of the concept art roughly translates to "Who is the ultimate angel who God speaks of?" <a href="http://andriasang.com/con0ba/el_shaddai_2012/">according to Andriasang</a>. The site's URL, <em>www.elshaddai-sb.jp</em>, may also contain clues, specifically that "sb" may be the initials of this thing's subtitle, whatever it is. We'll keep an eye our for more details, but right now our money is on a fighting game: <em>El Shaddai: Super Battle</em>, <em>El Shaddai: Seraphim Battalion</em>, something along those lines.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/03/17/ignition-teaser-site-hints-at-new-el-shaddai-title/">Ignition teaser site hints at new El Shaddai title</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 17 Mar 2012 16:30:00 EST. Wondering what BioWare's next, unannounced project is? So are we! Game Informer has the exclusive on the first teaser image (seen above), and promises <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/03/new-alan-wake-bioware-game-and-mgs-rising-details-at-vgas/">all will be revealed</a> at next month's Spike Video Game Awards show. We've got high hopes that your eyes are sharper than ours, because we're not seeing much here other than the obvious: the dude flying from the car appears to be black, wearing a chain of bullets, and ... uh ... maybe he's being attacked by the smoke monster? Like you, we'll find out when the VGAs air on December 10.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/07/biowares-next-ip-teased-with-uncharted-esque-car-flipping-actio/">BioWare's next IP teased with Uncharted-esque car flipping action shot</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 07 Nov 2011 12:14:00 EST. Straight outta <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/pax-prime-2011">PAX</a> comes this teaser for Markus "Notch" Perrson's newest Mojang joint, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/scrolls"><em>Scrolls</em></a>. There are, like, <em>so</em>, <em>so</em> many things in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/starhawk"><em>Starhawk</em></a> to drive/pilot/murder with, and the latest cinematic teaser for the forthcoming sequel depicts nearly all of them doing what they do best. If you didn't make it to the end of Konami's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/konami">pre-E3 presentation</a>, you might have missed one of the most exciting clips therein. In the last few seconds, a fireball flies in from off-screen, forming the <em>Contra</em> "C," and teases: "They're coming." Not soon enough! You'll be just as shocked as we were to hear that, yes, this year's big <em>Assassin's Creed</em> game, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/assassins-creed-revelations"><em>Revelations</em></a>, will be given its first big media blowout at E3. As much is confirmed at the tail end of the latest teaser for Ezio's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/05/assassins-creed-revelations-concludes-ezios-story-this-novemb/">final chapter</a>, which we've embedded after the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/26/assassins-creed-revelations-teaser-warns-of-big-june-6-reveal/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Assassin's Creed: Revelations teaser warns of big June 6 reveal</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/26/assassins-creed-revelations-teaser-warns-of-big-june-6-reveal/">Assassin's Creed: Revelations teaser warns of big June 6 reveal</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 26 May 2011 13:00:00 EST. You remember that crazy <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/04/29/ubisoft-calls-on-the-community-to-reveal-next-assassins-creed-g/"><em>Assassin's Creed</em> teaser</a> site that Ubisoft briefly launched late last week before pulling it down and pretending nothing happened? Turns out the French publisher is interested in promoting its next <em>AC</em> game after all, as the <a href="http://www.facebook.com/assassinscreed?sk=app_150031305061905">Facebook posting</a> has reappeared and a trio of teaser videos are now available (found after the break).<br />
<br />
The latest of the videos shows what appears to be the first <em>Assassin's Creed'</em>s main protagonist, Altair, though the only portion unobscured with distortion is -- <em>naturally</em> -- his hidden blade. Some vaguely <em>Assassin's Creed 1</em>-looking buildings can also be seen in the upper left corner, potentially hinting at a return to the Middle Eastern setting for the next game in the series.<br />
<br />
Folks interested in helping speed the reveal process for the next game can choose from a variety of social media-tied means to assist, though the progress bar for the reveal is reflecting just a four percent completion as of right now. While we're really interested in finding out what the next <em>AC</em> game is, we'd never outright suggest spamming your Facebook/Twitter for game reveal countdowns. We'll just say this: Do what you think is <em>right</em>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/02/assassins-creed-reveal-campaign-reactivated-third-teaser-clip/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Assassin's Creed reveal campaign reactivated, third teaser clip appears</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/02/assassins-creed-reveal-campaign-reactivated-third-teaser-clip/">Assassin's Creed reveal campaign reactivated, third teaser clip appears</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 02 May 2011 13:30:00 EST. We've known a new <em>Soul Calibur</em> game is coming <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/26/soul-calibur-series-returns-to-the-stage-of-history/">since back in December</a> and now it would appear that Namco Bandai is finally ready to make a formal announcement. Well, not <em>now</em> now. Like, in two weeks.<br />
<br />
A site teasing a "new chapter" in <em>something</em> has recently emerged online, counting down to May 11 -- presumably when the identity of said chapter will be announced. Corroborating the mid-May reveal is <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/Daishi_CALIBUR/status/62391426650091520">a tweet</a> from <em>Soul Calibur's</em> "current game director" Daishi Odashima promising "to announce something" at that time. If we were rating the mystery behind this reveal, we'd probably give it an F. Minus.<br />
<br />

Gameplay rarely lives up to the trailers that precede it, and we certainly hope that's the case with the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/prey-2"><em>Prey 2</em></a> teaser Bethesda sent out this morning. If the Prey franchise is passed from a disenfranchised Native American and his spirit grandpa to a whiny bro and his pistol-wielding air marshal pal, we don't think we can count it as anything other than a downgrade.<br />
<br />
See for yourself just after the jump.<br />
<br />
[<strong>Update</strong>: Bethesda has clarified for us that our new hit character "whiny bro" was tragically killed in this video. However, sky cop survives to head up <em>Prey 2</em>.]<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/03/16/prey-2-teaser-leaves-us-scratching-our-human-heads/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Prey 2 teaser leaves us scratching our Human Heads</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/03/16/prey-2-teaser-leaves-us-scratching-our-human-heads/">Prey 2 teaser leaves us scratching our Human Heads</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 16 Mar 2011 10:30:00 EST. It turned out each glyph represented a letter, and with the puzzle solved a new site was spelled out: ATaleOfTwoRichards.com. And that site has brought us the blurred image seen above, which bears a notable resemblance to the logo (posted after the break) for <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/20/tales-of-graces-ps3-preview/">Tales of Graces F</a></em>, the PS3 port of <em>Tales of Graces </em>that was released in Japan in early December. Additionally, the "Richard" in the URL could be a reference to <a href="http://aselia.wikia.com/wiki/Richard">the character</a> of the same name, who appears both as a child and an adult in the game (which could sort of be considered "two Richards").<br />
<br />
Even more conclusive evidence that Namco is doing the impossible and actually localizing a <em>Tales</em> game can be found after the break, in the form of the <em>less</em> blurred image that was initially posted on the teaser site, according to NeoGAF poster <a href="http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=25602647&amp;postcount=199">miladesn</a>.<br />
<strong><br />
Update:</strong> Namco has refreshed ATaleofTwoRichards.com with an even blurrier image and the date "2.2.2011" (February 2).<br />
<strong><br />
Update [2/2/11, 3:20PM ET]:</strong> Namco has updated the teaser site with -- if you can believe it -- the <em>blurriest</em> image yet. Additionally, the teased date of "2.2.2011" has been removed. So now what?<br />

When will you get to see Silicon Knights' <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/x-men-destiny">X-Men Destiny</a></em> in action? <em>We just don't know</em>. You can, however, watch this <em>total</em> teaser for it from the latest episode of <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/gametrailers-tv/111">GTTV</a>. We're hoping that the X-Men among you will dissect the trailer and let us know of any interesting tidbits in the comments below.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/10/x-men-destiny-teased-again/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>X-Men Destiny teased again</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/10/x-men-destiny-teased-again/">X-Men Destiny teased again</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 10 Dec 2010 12:30:00 EST. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/26/murder-your-maker-teaser-site-hints-at-vga-reveal/">Last week</a>, Activision uploaded a teaser site featuring the tagline "Murder Your Maker," which we hypothesized was hinting at the reveal of a new installment in the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/prototype"><em>Prototype</em></a> series during the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/spike-vga-2010">Spike VGAs</a>. A brief video which was recently added to the site appears to confirm our suspicions.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/04/murder-your-maker-vga-teaser-site-updated-with-prototype-foota/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>'Murder Your Maker' VGA teaser site updated with Prototype footage</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/04/murder-your-maker-vga-teaser-site-updated-with-prototype-foota/">'Murder Your Maker' VGA teaser site updated with Prototype footage</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 04 Dec 2010 17:30:00 EST. Earlier this week, a mysterious <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/spike-vga-2010">Spike VGA 2010</a> site asked its visitors to <a href="http://m.spike.com/lookcloser.rbml;jsessionid=mqeld-gwyjcZV7Nq4QLq1A**">consider the <em>secret meanings</em></a> of two <em>mysterious</em> and <em>secret</em> phrases: "MURDER" and "LOOK CLOSER." Today, a new teaser site offers a few more clues. The page, titled "<a href="http://www.murderyourmaker.com/">Murder Your Maker</a>," features the image seen above: A bald man, staring at a wall covered in maps, newspaper clippings and delicious strands of black licorice. Or, wait. String. Yeah, that's definitely string.<br />
<br />
The "Murder Your Maker" tagline has led some theorists to believe we're looking at a teaser for a sequel to last year's super violent, open-world title, <em>Prototype</em>. Alex Mercer certainly has some <em>daddy issues</em>, but our money is on that new <em>God of War</em> game, where Kratos is literally tasked with killing God. <br />
<br />
Oh, Activision runs the website? Well, in that case ... does "<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/16/new-activision-title-bloodhunt-revealed-by-australian-ratings/">Bloodhunt</a>" sound about right?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/26/murder-your-maker-teaser-site-hints-at-vga-reveal/">'Murder Your Maker' teaser site hints at VGA reveal</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 26 Nov 2010 12:30:00 EST. Once again, <em>some</em> sneaky developers are <a href="http://www.vg247.com/2010/11/20/vga-video-teases-something-to-do-with-left-4-dead/">hinting at</a> a big game reveal during the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/spike-vga-2010">Spike 2010 VGAs</a> using extremely surreptitious methods. <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcEdB0byh7g">A commercial</a> for the awards program (posted after the jump) flashes the above image for a <em>fraction</em> of a second, seemingly indicating the premiere of <em>some</em> kind of game featuring "Infected." A couple years ago, we would have taken this as evidence of a new <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/left-4-dead"><em>Left 4 Dead</em></a>, but considering how zombies are now somehow included in every piece of popular media known to man, we can't be quite so certain.<br />
<br />
Also briefly flashed during the ad is a QR code -- much like those dropped by BioWare, which hinted at <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/17/bioware-revealing-new-project-at-vgas-on-december-11/">its own VGA reveal</a> last Wednesday. However, scanning this particular bar code leads you to <a href="http://m.spike.com/lookcloser.rbml;jsessionid=tWmrMMTV9gybnZW9nAVvzQ**">another VGA teaser site</a>, featuring the words "Look Closer" and "Murder." We have no idea what this means, but if someone's working on some kind of snuff film game, then they should <em>probably</em> stop, because we're <em>so not down</em>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/21/spike-vga-2010-commercial-hints-at-infected-game-revelation/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Spike VGA 2010 commercial hints at 'Infected' game revelation</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/21/spike-vga-2010-commercial-hints-at-infected-game-revelation/">Spike VGA 2010 commercial hints at 'Infected' game revelation</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 21 Nov 2010 15:00:00 EST. <a href="http://kinostalker.com/">A teaser site</a> has revealed that a TV series based on the <em>Stalker</em> FPS franchise is being developed for Russian television. The site is called "KinoS.T.A.L.K.E.R." ("kino" meaning "film" in Russian), has both an English and a Russian section, and was linked to by Ukraine's <a href="http://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=100401110031206&amp;id=111521215540469">GSC Game World's Facebook profile</a>. There's also a trailer on the site, subtitled in English, though it's hard to tell what's going on with all the series standards in there -- including mutants, darkness, and explosions aplenty.<br />
<br />
Still, the site clearly states that there is a "TV series coming soon" based on the property, which itself takes influence from <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stalker_%28film%29">Andrei Tarkovsky's 1979 film</a>, as well as the old science fiction story "Roadside Picnic." <em>Stalker</em> fans will probably be happy to hear that the series will mutate into yet another form of media.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/11/russian-stalker-tv-series-teased/">Russian Stalker TV series teased</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 11 Nov 2010 16:00:00 EST. What good's a secret project without a secret teaser website? <a href="http://whatisicarus.com/">WhatIsIcarus.com</a> isn't much at the moment -- as evidenced by the image above -- but it's likely to fill in leading up to the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/24/irrational-games-event-on-august-11th-in-nyc-game-reveal-probab/">August 11 reveal</a> of Irrational Game's "Project Icarus." <br />
<br />
While <a href="http://www.whois.net/whois/whatisicarus.com">domain registry info</a> does not directly link the mystery site to Irrational, its <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Name_server">nameservers</a> point to parent-company Take-Two, along with (curiously) sister subsidiary Rockstar Games. Ubisoft has released a teaser video and <a href="http://driver.uk.ubi.com/teaser/">a countdown site</a> for its relaunch of the <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/driver"><em>Driver</em></a> series (the last title of which was released <a href="http://nintendo.joystiq.com/2007/04/03/a-few-good-driver-screens/">back in the heady days of aught-seven</a>). We knew that there would be <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/27/new-driver-game-parked-at-ubisofts-e3-booth/">a new <em>Driver</em> to see at E3</a>, and the site's countdown lines up with 5 p.m. PDT next Monday, June 14, which happens to be the exact same time that Ubisoft is <a href="http://www.ubisoftgroup.com/index.php?p=59&amp;art_id=60&amp;vars=Y29tX2lkPTc0OSZzZW5kZXJfdXJsPWluZGV4LnBocCUzRnAlM0Q2MyUyNmFydF9pZCUzRA%3D%3D">holding its pre-expo press conference</a>. What are the odds?<br />
<br />
The trailer seems to hint at most of the mainstays of the series, including our old friend Tanner (who's been transplanted to California, apparently, and has become a 49ers fan), rip-roaring muscle cars and the old "garage stunts checklist" that players had to pull off back when the series started. The site also links to <a href="http://www.facebook.com/Driver">a Facebook page</a>, where you can "discover the driver's identity" (wait, didn't they just show it in the video?) by clicking the "Like" button. So if Ubisoft's goal was to get <em>Driver</em> fans intrigued, it's probably working. We'll light the fires and kick the tires on the game in about a week.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/07/braking-ubisofts-new-driver-teased-in-video/">Braking: Ubisoft's new Driver teased in video</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 07 Jun 2010 22:00:00 EST. There's a substantial number of games we've been hoping to see unveiled <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/e3-2010">at E3</a> later this month, but our desire for the announcement of one game in particular easily overshadows all others: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/half-life-2-episode-3"><em>Half-Life 2: Episode 3</em></a>. We've tempered our expectations for such an announcement after being disappointed at trade shows for like, <em>a decade</em> -- but if the teaser image posted after the jump is legit, our wait might just be coming to an end in a little over a week.<br />
<br />
The image features the <em>Half-Life</em> Lambda symbol, the word "Freeman," a barely visible watermark of what <em>appears</em> to be G-Man's face, and a mention of June 14 -- the original date for the (rather humorously) <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/02/portal-2-e3-event-cancelled-and-replaced-by-a-surprise/">canceled <em>Portal 2</em> event</a>. We're still worried about playing the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlzVDDSfeeA">Charlie Brown</a> to Valve's Lucy -- <a href="http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2010/06/05/episode-three-rumours-appear-like-a-ghost/">Rock, Paper, Shotgun claims</a> the image is a fake, but doesn't provide the source for that information. We've contacted Valve about the teaser's authenticity, though we're finding it awfully hard to type out an email when all of our fingers are crossed.<br />
<br />
Update: Reader Jake Handy pinged Valve's Gabe Newell about this, and Newell's response couldn't have been clearer -- or more terse: "Fake."<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/05/rumor-half-life-2-announcement-teased-by-freeman-art/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Rumor: Half-Life 2 announcement teased by 'Freeman' art [update]</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/05/rumor-half-life-2-announcement-teased-by-freeman-art/">Rumor: Half-Life 2 announcement teased by 'Freeman' art [update]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 05 Jun 2010 15:30:00 EST. So, it's a lot like every <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/alan-wake">Alan Wake</a></em> video, but it's <em>especially</em> like the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/bright-falls">Bright Falls</a> prequel series in that it's composed of live-action footage. The only thing that looks unrealistic, really, is the imperiled author's jacket-hoodie combination.<br />
<br />
We're impressed by how well the video captures some of the Xbox 360 thriller's imagery -- such as the blinding flares and the mysterious manuscript pages -- and we suspect it's part of a live-action commercial (much like those made for Microsoft's <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/29/full-halo-reach-live-action-short-is-longer/">Halo</a></em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/29/full-halo-reach-live-action-short-is-longer/"> franchise</a>) or another web short. The last page in the most recent issue of Portugal's PlayStation: The Official Magazine features a pair of eyes you might be familiar with, depending on how frequently you stare into the baby blues of your video game protagonists. <a href="http://scrawlfx.com/2010/05/infamous-2-teased-for-next-issue-of-rops">Scrawl captured the image</a> of the teasing brow, which <em>appears</em> to belong to one Cole McGrath, hero (or anti-hero) of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/infamous"><em>inFamous</em></a>. That observation is supported by the text following the image, which translates to "the announcement of a great PlayStation 3 exclusive sequel in the next ROPS." (ROPS is the acronym for the magazine's Portuguese edition.)<br />
<br />
Now that the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/infamous-2">pile of evidence</a> indicating a sequel to last year's charged action game is teetering into the clouds, we think it's safe to expect some form of announcement <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/e3-2010">at E3</a>. In fact, we'd be <em>shocked</em> if ... no? We can't use that one anymore? Fair enough.<br />

Dookieheads (that's what Green Day fans are colloquially referred to, right?) who downloaded the two-track <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/green-day-rock-band"><em>Green Day: Rock Band</em></a> demo from Xbox Live Marketplace today (gold subscribers only) found a little bonus waiting for them when they exited the demo: The teaser image posted above. Alongside the series' four iconic instrument logos is a whole new symbol, which seems to indicate that keyboards (or perhaps ... <em>keytars?</em>) will be added to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/rock-band-3"><em>Rock Band 3</em></a>.<br />
<br />
You can <a href="http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/offers/0ddf0001-0000-4000-8000-0000454188e9">check out the demo</a>, which includes the songs "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" and "Welcome to Paradise," to see the teaser firsthand, and to start imagining all the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcWVL4B-4pI">wonderful implications</a> a <em>Rock Band</em> keyboard might have.<br />

As <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/05/assassins-creed-brotherhood-placeholder-art-spotted-at-gamestop/">promised</a>, Ubisoft has started its marketing efforts for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/assassins-creed-brotherhood"><em>Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood</em></a>. An e-mail from the game's Abstergo Industries barely attempts to extend the fiction into reality, linking to a Flash-filled Ubisoft <a href="http://assassinscreed.us.ubi.com/abstergoindustries/">promotional website</a>. Presumably, the teaser site provides insight into some of the weapons that may be used in the sequel's new multiplayer component, including an axe, fan, syringe, dagger and claw. (Solve the puzzle on the website to unveil yet another weapon: the switch blade.)<br />

Some concept art (placed after the break) is buried in the site, possibly offering a clue as to how the story of <em>Brotherhood</em> will unfold. We're pretty certain these are rows of Animus machines waiting to be activated, but perhaps you can provide your own conspiracy theories.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/10/assassins-creed-brotherhood-teased-via-abstergo-industries-e-m/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood teased via Abstergo Industries e-mail</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/10/assassins-creed-brotherhood-teased-via-abstergo-industries-e-m/">Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood teased via Abstergo Industries e-mail</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 10 May 2010 16:58:00 EST. A mystery figure has appeared in the latest update to the <em>God of War</em> teaser site "<a href="http://spartansstandtall.com/">SpartansStandTall</a>." His reflection (captured above) momentarily flashes on screen during the video loop of the site's rendered thunderstorm. This is the second update to the site; its URL is <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/18/god-of-war-website-teases-spartans-stand-tall/">revealed</a> to players that unlock the <em>God of War 3</em> Platinum Trophy. <br />
<br />
The apparent meter that circles the icon in the upper right corner of the full screen (not pictured) is now three-quarters full (it was one-quarter full to start and was filled to halfway upon the first update), suggesting that the next update will display a full meter and perhaps the <em>ultimate</em> reveal. (DLC? Spin-off? <em>3D Blu-ray movie?</em> It's anyone's <em>guess</em>.) The icon itself is thought to be representative of the Spartan army's shield; the upside-down "V" being the Greek letter Lamba, standing for "Lacedaemon" (what the ancient Greeks called Sparta).<br />
<br />
So who is this mystery man? He certainly looks like he could be angry. And anger has always fueled this franchise, which <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/19/interview-god-of-war-3-ends-trilogy-but-not-franchise/">still has some venting to do</a>.<br />

No one's completely cracked the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/16/telltale-teases-mystery-of-scoggins-erasers/">mystery of Scoggins</a>, as teased on Telltale's official site, but <a href="http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/28258/Telltale_Teases_Game_Based_On_Work_Of_Animator_Graham_Annable.php">Gamasutra</a> has placed a big part of the puzzle. The outlet has connected the work of artist Graham Annable, responsible for the "<a href="http://www.grickle.com">Grickle</a>" <a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/grickle">short films</a> and books, to the teaser. Not only does the Scoggins art closely match that of Annable's, he has a history with Telltale, formerly serving as creative director at the company. Moreover, we noticed the same gnomes from the teaser image (which he calls "The Hidden People") in <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/30473764@N05/">these Flickr samples</a> of Annable's work. <br />
<br />
It tells us little of what kind of games we can expect from the collaboration, but we'd expect questions about that to be answered on May 4, as you can see in the teaser above.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/27/telltales-scoggins-project-related-to-artist-graham-annable/">Telltale's 'Scoggins' project related to artist Graham Annable</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 27 Apr 2010 18:40:00 EST. When translated, the image (pictured right) tells site visitors to check the "back" of the chalkboard for the name of Ludo&iuml;d's next project. Clicking the image flips the board, but only reveals <a href="http://ludoid.fr/precision.html">rubbed out text</a>. Tease!<br />
<br />
Fr&eacute;d&eacute;rick Raynal is best known for co-designing the original <em>Alone in the Dark</em> (1992), a forebearer of the survival horror genre. Raynal is also responsible for the cult-hit <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Big_Adventure"><em>Little Big Adventure</em></a> series; however, Ludo&iuml;d has already said its upcoming project will not be a continuation of that franchise.<br />
<br />
So, all we have to go on is some French text and a chalkboard that looks suspiciously like an iPhone or iPad. <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4G-y83Aj3LU"><em>Time Commando</em></a> reboot anyone?<br />

We apologize for any and all spelling or grammatical errors this post may contain. We're not at our usual razor-sharp level of literary acuity this morning, due to the fact that we stayed up all night to analyze the image you see above. <a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2010/02/07/whos-that-pokemon/">According to Siliconera</a>, that silhouetted figure up there is the <a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2010/02/07/whos-that-pokemon/">first new fifth-generation Pok&eacute;mon</a>, and we <em>need</em> to know what it is. We'll find out during the February 21 episode of <em>Pok&eacute;mon Sunday --</em> but we both know that we can't be expected to wait that long.<br />
<br />
So, let's just start riffing. It looks bipedal, right? That could indicate that it's a fighting-type -- then again, look at its <em>plumage</em>. Kinda looks like the trappings of a fire-type, doesn't it? Then again, it could just as easily be a new evolution of Lucario! Or -- wait, you know what it actually resembles? <em>Our shame</em>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/08/lets-all-analyze-this-new-pokemons-silhouette/">Let's all analyze this new Pokemon's silhouette</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 08 Feb 2010 11:30:00 EST. Those of you who guessed "comic book" along with us when the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/command-and-conquer"><em>Command &amp; Conquer</em></a> team hinted that their universe was <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/29/command-and-conquer-coming-to-new-medium-in-2010/">headed to a "new medium"</a> were still stuck in the past of 2009 -- here in 2010, comics move like video, and they're called "motion comics." Geez, get with the decade! EA's <a href="http://www.commandandconquer.com/news/cc-motion-comic-teaser-trailer">posted a teaser trailer for the <em>C&amp;C</em> "motion comic,"</a> created in conjunction with <a href="http://www.apecomics.com/">Ape Entertainment</a>, and almost literally, all it says is that Episode 1 is coming soon.<br />
<br />
There's also a guy in a truck who wants to know the same thing we do: What he's doing here. Oh yeah, and can we know where "here," is, too, and what this has to do with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/28/command-and-conquer-4-multiplayer-beta-rolled-out-today/">the game</a>? You can head after the break to watch the entire teaser for yourself. Just be sure not to blink.<br />

That "title premiere" could, of course, refer to a new game announcement, <em>or</em> it could refer to the release of new details about a known title, like the yet-to-be-dated <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/lost-planet-2">Lost Planet 2</a>, </em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/dead-rising-2/"><em>Dead Rising 2</em></a> or even <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/super-street-fighter-iv"><em>Super Street Fighter IV</em></a>.<br />
<br />
However, the "Capcom X Microsoft" wording suggests a project that is a bit more <em>collaborative </em>than, say, a release date for a multiplatform product, so it's possible we're waiting on a new Xbox-exclusive. In any case, it's easy enough to determine what this premiere is all about using the "just wait until January 26" method. That's next Tuesday, by the way.<br />

<em><font size="1">click to embiggen</font></em></div>
The above image could mean a lot of things: that life is fleeting, that every day brings a new challenge, or that maybe you should cancel those plans to visit <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palace_of_Westminster">the Palace of Westminster</a> next year. But according to the official <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/command-and-conquer-4"><em>Command &amp; Conquer 4</em></a> website, it only means one thing: the RTS series is <a href="http://www.commandandconquer.com/content/newsletter-subscribers-exclusive-sneak-peek?sourceid=ea4993">coming to a brand new medium</a> in 2010, "never created for the <em>C&amp;C</em> franchise before, until now." The image above is a sneak peek, the site says, but doesn't give us anything more than that.<br />
<br />
Four color us crazy, but we look at the intricate <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiaroscuro"><em>chiaroscuro</em></a>, inking, and shading above, and the words "comic book" jump to mind. But maybe that's too obvious. We'll be happy to follow <em>C&amp;C</em> into whatever new medium it has planned, as long as it <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/10/18/lost-bsg-actors-join-candc-3-tiberium-wars/">brings Tricia Helfer</a> along.<br />

As such, they have no concept of our Earth "trucks" and "awesome jets," and can only transform into ... things that look pretty much like trucks and awesome jets, but <em>alien.</em><br />
<br />
The teaser after the break introduces the setting for the new High Moon-developed title, and Game Informer promises more info on its constantly updating <a href="http://gameinformer.com/mag/cybertron.aspx"><em>War for Cybertron</em></a> hub page. If the new locale and exotic transformations don't grab you, think about this: <em>all humans</em> are millions of miles away from Cybertron, so unlike the movies, you'll actually get to see the Transformers in this game.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/11/transformers-staying-home-for-transformers-war-for-cybertron/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Transformers staying home for Transformers: War for Cybertron</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/11/transformers-staying-home-for-transformers-war-for-cybertron/">Transformers staying home for Transformers: War for Cybertron</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 11 Dec 2009 11:15:00 EST. What do you see in <a href="http://twitpic.com/s61qb">the ink blot above</a>? A butterfly with cattails attached to its wings? Well, that probably means you're insane. The popular theory is that the image, which was linked to on the <a href="http://twitter.com/isaacclarke/status/6354917680">recently relocated</a> official <a href="http://twitter.com/deadspace"><em>Dead Space</em> Twitter page</a>, is actually a teaser for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/dead-space-2"><em>Dead Space 2</em></a>. This much is supported by the strange script featured at the bottom of the image (visible in the full picture, posted after the jump), which, when translated using <a href="http://fc09.deviantart.com/fs34/f/2008/295/2/f/Rune_Translation_Guide_by_MFox87.jpg">this helpful guide</a> (via horror game news blog <a href="http://helldescent.com/2009/12/05/twitter-account-teases-dead-space-2/">Hell Descent</a>), reads "the nightmare is over but it will not end."<br />
<br />
There's also a few Necromorphs hidden in the ink blot, including Mr. "I'm going to stab you with these sharp tentacles" and Mr. "I'm just a baby but I'll bite your face off." (Disclaimer: Those probably aren't their Christian names.) We feel we can confidently add this to the growing pile of evidence for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/24/rumor-opm-teases-dead-space-reveal-in-december/">an upcoming announcement</a> for the follow-up to last year's dismemberment simulator.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/06/dead-space-2-possibly-teased-by-necromorphic-ink-blot/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Dead Space 2 possibly teased by Necromorphic ink blot</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/06/dead-space-2-possibly-teased-by-necromorphic-ink-blot/">Dead Space 2 possibly teased by Necromorphic ink blot</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 06 Dec 2009 13:30:00 EST. There's a good reason for that -- <a href="http://www.viddler.com/explore/Joystiq/videos/2471/">the latest teaser</a> for the episodic, co-op mystery series <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/blue-toad-murder-files"><em>Blue Toad Murder Files</em></a> features the single greatest narrator ever featured in any trailer, ever. There's something strangely poetic to his cadence, and, of course, to his impassioned dialect every time he utters the third word in the game's title: "<em>Maaaahhdaaaah</em>." Absolutely brilliant.<br />
<br />
Check out the trailer above, and make sure you stick around until the very end. That's when the narrator <em>really</em> hits his stride.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/04/blue-toad-murder-files-teaser-has-the-best-accent-ever/">Blue Toad Murder Files teaser has the best accent ever</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 04 Dec 2009 14:15:00 EST. Well, <em>crap</em>. Now we have a reason to watch the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Spike-VGA-2009">Spike Video Game Awards</a>. See, while we can live without the <strong>WORLD EXCLUSIVE</strong> trailers for next year's big releases, we don't think we can skip out on the unveiling of a new <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/star-wars"><em>Star Wars</em></a> game in good conscience.<br />
<br />
According to <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/video/star-wars-spike-tv/59426">the latest teaser</a>, viewers of the 2009 Spike VGAs will be able to find out "what's next" for the <em>Star Wars</em> gaming franchise. We've got our fingers triple-crossed for a new <em>Jedi Outcast</em> entry, but have also prepared our hearts for the icy embrace of <em>Super Bombad Racing 2</em>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/25/new-star-wars-game-debuting-during-spike-video-game-awards/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>New Star Wars game debuting during Spike Video Game Awards</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/25/new-star-wars-game-debuting-during-spike-video-game-awards/">New Star Wars game debuting during Spike Video Game Awards</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 25 Nov 2009 14:20:00 EST. It appears as though <a href="http://kotaku.com/5409176/mysterious-new-2k-games-shooter-teased-by-spike-%5Bupdate%5D?skyline=true&amp;s=i">yesterday's mystery teaser</a> for the upcoming <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Spike-VGA-2009">Spike TV Video Game Awards</a>, featuring a CGI scene of a war in Dubai, is actually not the newest teaser in the world. Revealed back in August, the clip is said to be from upcoming 2K Games franchise reboot <em>Spec Ops</em>. <br />
<br />
Originally, the title was claimed by EGM rumor mill "Quartermann" to be in development in the shuttered magazine's July 2008 issue. <a href="http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3177031">1UP</a> claims the title to be confirmed by the 90-second teaser trailer that we've dropped after the break. We'd suggest checking it out simply for the fact that it contains more footage than the teaser from yesterday, but the fact that Bj&ouml;rk is involved makes us all the more inclined to recommend a viewing. For those of you thirsting for more, your next chance to see the game will be at 2009's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/23/keighley-promises-even-better-exclusives-at-the-vgas/">world exclusive-filled</a> VGAs. We've contacted 2K Games for comment and will update this post if we hear more.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/21/mystery-vga-teaser-revealed-as-spec-ops/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Mystery VGA teaser revealed as Spec Ops</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/21/mystery-vga-teaser-revealed-as-spec-ops/">Mystery VGA teaser revealed as Spec Ops</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 21 Nov 2009 15:00:00 EST. Zombie obliterators who've managed to survive <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/left-4-dead-2"><em>Left 4 Dead 2</em>'s</a> "Dark Carnival" campaign are probably familiar with the Southern rock outfit known as the Midnight Riders. While they're not exactly an <em>enormous</em> focus in the game's overarching story, <a href="http://www.midnight-riders.com/">a teaser page featuring the heavily bearded band</a> (and a cryptic "Coming Soon") is leading some folks to believe that the Riders will soon play a much larger role in the game's proceedings. <br />
<br />
Given the number of facial hair-sporting members of the band (see: four), we're really hoping to get some form of DLC that turns them into playable characters. Perhaps even a new campaign, in which they cure the global zombie infection using nothing but the power of their <em>rock music</em>. How about it, Valve?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/19/left-4-dead-2s-midnight-riders-get-a-gloriously-bearded-teaser/">Left 4 Dead 2's Midnight Riders get a gloriously bearded teaser page</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 19 Nov 2009 19:30:00 EST. On Monday, we brought you an awfully <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/02/spicy-horse-teasing-alice-sequel-for-2011-release/">official-looking teaser trailer</a> for a follow-up to <em>American McGee's Alice</em>, which was announced in February. Now, <a href="http://www.americanmcgee.com/wordpress/2009/11/04/return-of-alice-video-madness/">via his blog</a>, McGee is debunking the cool stop-motion clip, saying, "I wanted to clear up any confusion ... it was unofficial, and does not represent any of the final art direction or story elements in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/alice-2"><em>Alice 2</em></a>." It's worth noting that when we attempted to verify the clip's authenticity on Monday, we tracked the site (the now-missing <a href="http://www.returnofalice.com/">www.returnofalice.com</a>) back to <a href="http://www.americanmcgee.com/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=um3fiso6i3qp4p302cqkmjjmf6&amp;topic=1669.msg96184#msg96184">American McGee</a>, so the confusion is pretty understandable. <br />
<br />
The "fan" that created the video, Troy Morgan, is an accomplished artist who has <a href="http://www.troymorgan.com/Troy_Morgan_CV.pdf">worked with the developer</a> in the past. Morgan says he created the ad on spec as an ad pitch to EA, though it appears not to have been picked up. It's a pity, because the clip was just starting to get us excited for a return to (evil) Wonderland.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/04/alice-2-teaser-not-officially-sanctioned/">Alice 2 'teaser' not officially sanctioned</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 04 Nov 2009 12:15:00 EST. We figured that Naughty Dog would tire of its propensity to tease us once <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/uncharted-2"><em>Uncharted 2: Among Thieves</em></a> had finally hit store shelves. However, if the developer's <a href="http://twitter.com/Naughty_Dog/status/5282450503">recent late-night tweet</a> is any indication, its still got a few surprises up its sleeve. The aforementioned tweet simply read, "working late tonight, got a ton of things that need to get done," and included a link to <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/naughty_dog/4057947070/in/photostream/">the unsettling image above</a>.<br /> <br /> If we were to wager a guess as to what those ... <em>things</em> are, our early analysis would be <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_characters_in_Killzone#Helghast">Helghast</a> skeletons. Now, with Halloween coming up, the <em>skeletons</em> thing makes sense. Helghast, though? That's just <em>garishly</em> non-canonical.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/30/naughty-dog-teases-spooky-uncharted-2-image/">Naughty Dog teases spooky Uncharted 2 image</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 30 Oct 2009 09:52:00 EST.
