If you're even remotely interested in Nintendo's The Legendary Starfy, then you'd better pay attention. Not only will one lucky winner walk away with a copy of the game on DS, but also a size L t-shirt, sticker sheet and water bottle (for those extra-long gameplay sessions). So, let's get to it!
  • Leave a comment telling us what your favorite item in the prize pack is (we're partial to the sticker sheet)
  • You must be 18 years or older and a resident of the US or Canada (excluding Quebec)
  • Limit 1 entry per person per day
  • This entry period ends at 3:00PM ET on Wednesday, September 16

You may be looking at your copy of Starfy right now and wondering if another one is coming out -- no, this is for the one that came out on June 9.

The event will run from 1-3 p.m. and will feature Starfy-themed contests, face painting, balloons, and even a life-sized Starfy mascot character. That seems like a lot of attention for a game from a developer who usually doesn't even take credit for the games it works on. Good for TOSE.

This week, it's all about the release of MotionPlus and The Legendary Starfy, with plenty of video content for both. Sadly, we don't have a demo of the latter, which we were really hoping for. But, hey, you can at least play Ant Nation. That's something, right? Right?

Why didn't we ever see the previous games? It's not like Nintendo of America didn't trust TOSE to create a good platform game. What's next, Kuru Kuru Kururin?

Whatever the reasoning, it appears that Nintendo is finally going to give us a Starfy game for reals. Look at those screens! Localization is happening! The Legendary Starfy is launching in North America on June 8. Head into our gallery if you feel prepared for five points of cuteness.
