This week's PlayStation Store update enables pre-orders for Naughty Dog's <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/the-last-of-us">The Last of Us</a></em>, bundled with a PSN theme, the soundtrack and some avatars. The PS3 exclusive is slated to launch on PSN and in stores on June 14, 2013, and should be playable as soon as <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/17/last-of-us-digital-version-playable-when-halfway-downloaded/">it's downloaded</a> halfway.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/28/grid-2-review/"><em>Grid 2</em></a> and <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/28/fuse-review/">Fuse</a> </em>are also available through PSN today, launching alongside their retail counterparts. Rockstar's <em>The Warriors</em> is also on the menu, making its PS2 Classics debut for $10.<br />
<br />
Meanwhile, PlayStation Plus subscribers can download a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/28/blazblue-continuum-shift-extend-ps-vita-free-on-ps-plus-this-we/">free copy</a> of <em>BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend</em> on PS Vita, as well as a free PS Vita music app, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/02/25/ps-vita-app-attack-friend-network-and-imaginstruments-this-spri/">Imaginstruments</a></em>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/28/psn-tuesday-the-last-of-us-pre-orders-imaginstruments-on-vita/">PSN Tuesday: The Last of Us pre-orders, Imaginstruments on Vita</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 28 May 2013 20:00:00 EST. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/the-warriors"><em>The Warriors</em></a>, Rockstar's 2005 game based on the 1979 cult movie, is <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/05/22/the-warriors-coming-next-week-to-psn/">coming to PSN next week</a>. As per typical PS Store updates, it arrives in North America on May 28 for $9.99, and then in Europe the day after for &pound;7.99/&euro;9.99.<br />
<br />
Rockstar Toronto reportedly worked on a spiritual successor to <em>The Warriors</em>,<em> </em>an Xbox 360 game called <em>We Are The Mods</em>. According to <a href="http://www.computerandvideogames.com/297658/rockstars-secret-xbox-360-game-unmasked/">CVG</a>, it was similar in style to The Warriors' urban brawling, but set in mid-1960s England, during the Mods and Rockers era.<br />
<br />
Since that never came to fruition, the closest you're going to get to a current-gen Warriors game, outside of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/24/the-rogues-come-out-to-play-in-this-the-warriors-street-brawl-t/">CTXM's <em>The Warriors: Street Brawl</em></a>, is next week's re-release. Like all PS2 Classics on PSN, it's only playable on PS3.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/23/the-warriors-rages-onto-psn-next-week-as-ps2-classic/">The Warriors rages onto PSN next week as PS2 Classic</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 23 May 2013 16:30:00 EST. You may remember The Rogues actually played an important role in the film, starting all of the hoopla and pinning it on The Warriors. We knew The Rogues were rebels, but what we don't get is how they can desecrate a graveyard like this. Is nothing sacred with today's youth? The trailer you see above features another gang from the film -- The Lizzies -- who are apparently capable of at least one more special move (bringing the total up to two so far). <br /><br />Aside from re-confirming a Summer release window for the game on PSN/XBLA, the teaser only offers a <em>teensy</em> bit of gameplay. Though considering the fact that the Summer is nearly over, we're guessing it won't be long before <em>The Warriors: Street Braw</em>l all over your console's digital marketplace. <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dw9yEuwohkk">Can you dig it</a>?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/23/the-warriors-street-brawl-pugilizes-our-eyes-with-new-gang-th/">The Warriors: Street Brawl pugilizes our eyes with new gang, 'The Lizzies'</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 23 Aug 2009 19:30:00 EST. We guess we just expect <em>too much</em> these days, spoiled from the 95% of the industry that does game trailers <em>right</em>. Come on, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/06/new-the-warriors-game-headed-to-xbla-this-summer/">the game announcement</a> had more in it than this! Paramount Digital Entertainment has just announced a new Xbox Live Arcade game based on <em>The Warriors</em>, planned for release this summer. The brawler is part of a 30th anniversary celebration that will include a new comic book series and "other products and entertainment". The new game will feature, of course, the movie's trademark gangs, <em>fighting each other</em>.<br />
<br />
However, don't expect a sequel to the acclaimed <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2005/04/14/warriors-come-out-to-play/">2005 <em>Warriors</em> game</a> by Rockstar -- this game is being made by developer <a href="http://www.ctxm.com/">CTXM</a> and <em>not</em> Rockstar Games.<br />
<br />
Check out the trailer after the break! Oh, and "Warriors, come out to play-ay!" Just because it's important to work that into <em>every </em>post about <em>The Warriors</em>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/06/new-the-warriors-game-headed-to-xbla-this-summer/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>New 'The Warriors' game headed to XBLA this summer</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/06/new-the-warriors-game-headed-to-xbla-this-summer/">New 'The Warriors' game headed to XBLA this summer</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 06 Feb 2009 12:41:00 EST. With a PSP port of <em>The Warriors</em> in the works, could those Rockstar hooligans be dabbling in <a target="_blank" href="http://www.joystiq.com/2005/12/03/sonys-fony-graffiti-sparks-lashback/">guerrilla marketing</a>?<br />
<br />
We wouldn't put it past the studio, which is headquartered in NYC; but this could easily be a remnant from the game's <a target="_blank" href="http://www.joystiq.com/2005/04/14/warriors-come-out-to-play/">first go-round</a> on PlayStation 2 and Xbox -- or just the uninspired work of a fan.
