We were thinking about another Wii Warm Up recently, when the idea to ask about the sensor bar popped into our head. Personally, we're fans of sticking the thing under our TV, but what about you? Do you have your sensor bar placed above your TV. Do you have it below the screen, just as we do? Is it on top or the bottom?
Wii Warm Up: Top or bottom? originally appeared on Joystiq on Tue, 19 Aug 2008 08:00:00 EST. The numbers they use appear to be different from the Media Create numbers we usually use, but one has to wonder how in the world they can claim accuracy down to individual units. We think it has something to do with spirits. Here's the top ten (Japanese sales only, remember), and for the rest, follow the link!

1. More Brain Training (Nintendo) - 3,417,956 sold

2. New Super Mario Bros. (Nintendo) - 3,351,234 sold

3. Animal Crossing: Wild World (Nintendo) - 3,335,195 sold

4. Pokémon Diamond / Pearl (Nintendo) - 3,060,032 sold

5. Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training (Nintendo) - 2,837,394 sold

6. Mario Kart DS (Nintendo) - 1,626,242 sold

7. English Training (Nintendo) - 1,408,243 sold

8. Nintendogs (Nintendo) - 1,335,185 sold

9. Big Brain Academy (Nintendo) - 1,299,188 sold

10. Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop (Bandai) - 1,110,046 sold

GayGamer.net's list of the "Top 20 Gayest Video Game Characters" has created a firestorm of interest around the web -- enough to crash their server several times throughout the day. Looking over the list, you'll notice that there are no characters from an Xbox 360 game. Cloning Clyde doesn't even get an honorable mention, despite conquering single sex reproduction. I ask this only to atone for past slurs and innuendos: Is the 360 lacking diversity?

Note: Before the post police get on my...uh..ass, "gaymers" seems to be an accepted self-identifying term in the homosexual video game community. Deal with it.

Question for gaymers: Is the 360 lacking diversity? originally appeared on Joystiq on Mon, 31 Jul 2006 23:45:00 EST. You can probably deduce from their name that they didn't nominate certain companies or their products (we're looking at you Sony and Nintendo). So with that said, here are a few noteworthy awards for everything Xbox.

Best Graphics: Gears of War / Runner up: BioShock
Best Action Game: Lost Planet / Runner up: Too Human
Best Racing Game: MotoGP '06 / Runner up: Test Drive Unlimited
Best Sports Game: Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis / Runner up: NCAA Football 07
Sleeper Hit: Just Cause / Runner up: Dead Rising
Best Xbox 360 Game: Mass Effect / Runner up: Gears of War

So what do you think? As for Top Gun, well...is anyone excited for this game?
