We've heard plenty of numbers regarding Sony's Xperia Play launch games, but few details about what each of its 20 supporting publishers have planned. Gameloft has cleared the air and filled 10 of the potential <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/13/xperia-play-pre-loaded-with-legendary-ps1-game-will-launch-wi/">50 launch game spots</a>. Beyond <em>Asphalt 6: Adrenaline</em> and <em>Star Battalion</em>, you'll see <em>Assassin's Creed</em>, <em>UNO</em>, <em>Let's Golf! 2</em>, <em>Spider-Man: Total Mayhem</em>, <em>Modern Combat: Black Pegasus</em>, <em>Real Football 2011</em>, <em>Brothers in Arms 2</em> and <em>Splinter Cell: Conviction</em> at launch on March 29.<br />
<br />
Trailers for the two packed-in games, <em>Asphalt</em> and <em>Star Battalion</em> can be found after the break, both of which were briefly shown during Sony's (<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/03/sony-ericsson-xperia-play-playstation-phone-now-has-a-commer/2">leaked</a>) Superbowl <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/06/xperia-play/">commercial</a>. None of the games have been priced yet.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/14/ten-gameloft-games-available-at-xperia-play-launch/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Ten Gameloft games available at Xperia Play launch</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/14/ten-gameloft-games-available-at-xperia-play-launch/">Ten Gameloft games available at Xperia Play launch</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 14 Feb 2011 22:00:00 EST. If you've been looking for a (legitimate) excuse to scream "UNO!" in public, Mattel has got a deal for you: To celebrate <em>Uno's</em> 40th anniversary, the iPhone and iPad versions of the card game will be available for $1 on the App Store tomorrow, January 11 -- 1/11/11, geddit?<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/01/10/uno-for-uno-dollar-on-ithings-this-tuesday/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Uno for uno dollar on iThings this Tuesday</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/01/10/uno-for-uno-dollar-on-ithings-this-tuesday/">Uno for uno dollar on iThings this Tuesday</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 10 Jan 2011 15:00:00 EST. There's a whole gang of playable content to get excited about in <a href="http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2010/04/22/%E2%80%98heads-up%E2%80%99-playstation-store-update-22nd-april-2010/">this week's European PSN update</a>, such as <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/lead-and-gold-gangs-of-the-wild-west"><em>Lead and Gold</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/after-burner-climax"><em>After Burner Climax</em></a>, the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/lost-planet-2"><em>Lost Planet 2</em></a> multiplayer demo and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/uno"><em>UNO</em></a> on the PSP. However, we'd make a strong case that the highlight of this most recent batch of additions isn't playable at all. We're speaking, of course, of the <em>Sonic The Hedgehog</em> comic from Archie Comics. Think we're joking? Look, right there, on the cover: "The World's Most Way Past Cool Comic!" How can you say no to that?<br />

There are only two ways we could think to improve the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/uno"><em>UNO</em></a> experience we currently have access to on the PS3 and 360:
<ol>
    <li>Make it available on a handheld console, in order to emulate the joy of holding tiny cards in our hands.</li>
    <li>Remove all camera functionality, in order to lessen the frequency with which we're exposed to strangers' bathing suit areas.</li>
</ol>
Fortunately, Gameloft is coming through for us in both respects with <a href="http://www.gamerbytes.com/2010/04/trailer_uno_for_psp_gameloft.php?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+gamerbytes+%28GamerBytes%29">a downloadable PSP version of <em>UNO</em></a>, which is set to hit the U.S. and European PlayStation Stores on April 22. The game's video announcement (posted after the jump) mentions it will support local and online multiplayer matches, but doesn't say anything about a price. We've contacted Gameloft to discern this ever-important (yet, surprisingly, often excluded!) detail.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/15/gameloft-bringing-downloadable-uno-to-psp-on-april-22/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Gameloft bringing downloadable UNO to PSP on April 22</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/15/gameloft-bringing-downloadable-uno-to-psp-on-april-22/">Gameloft bringing downloadable UNO to PSP on April 22</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 15 Apr 2010 21:45:00 EST. Gamasutra wasn't able to get its hands on year-to-date PSN sales data directly from Sony, but it has <a href="http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/27260/InDepth_North_American_PlayStation_Network_Sales_Analysis_January_2010.php">come up with some interesting conclusions</a> based on an unscientific look at ... leaderboard stats. The site broke down January's new releases, as well as a few other games that sold well last month, and the big debut of the month appears to be <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/hustle-kings"><em>Hustle Kings</em></a>, which added over 39,000 players to its ranks. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/assault-heroes"><em>Assault Heroes</em></a> only picked up 754 new players, but given that it's a game that actually came out in 2006 on the Xbox, that's not a big surprise. PSN also offered up <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/21/psn-thursday-10-for-10-sale-on-select-psn-games/">its "10 for '10" sale</a> in January, and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/uno"><em>Uno</em></a> came away from that event with a whopping 87,000 new players on its leaderboards. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/braid"><em>Braid</em></a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/critter-crunch"><em>Critter Crunch</em></a> also did well, adding 20,000 and 17,000 new players to their leaderboards, respectively.<br />
<br />
Keep in mind that these numbers are far from official, and not complete anyway -- <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/vandal-hearts-flames-of-judgment"><em>Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/thexder-neo"><em>Thexder Neo</em></a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/matt-hazard"><em>Matt Hazard</em></a> were released on PSN last month, and none of those games are included in this analysis, due to unreliable or nonexistent leaderboards. But it is probably fair to say that PSN had a pretty good month in January, especially with the games featured in its "10 for '10" sale. More of that, please.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/22/psn-leaderboards-point-to-top-game-downloads-for-january/">PSN leaderboards point to top game downloads for January</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 22 Feb 2010 20:45:00 EST. You know, when <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/zombies-ate-my-neighbors"><em>Zombies Ate My Neighbors</em></a> showed up on the Virtual Console, we were plum surprised. Save for a whisper here and there years earlier, we had no idea to expect the classic (and beloved) SNES title. Today, Nintendo has <a href="http://press.nintendo.com/articles.jsp?id=22017">unleashed that game's sequel</a> on the Virtual Console, accompanied by a bunch of other titles -- including Gameloft's WiiWare release, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/uno"><em>Uno</em></a>, and Nintendo's feng-shui board game, <em>Number Battle</em>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/25/nintendoware-weekly-aha-i-found-uno-in-my-ghoul-patrol/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>NintendoWare Weekly: Aha! Today's <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/psn-thursday">PSN update</a> reminds us about the vastness of space. Like, space is really, really huge. Certainly in comparison to this week's update, which is so very, very small. Almost microscopic when placed next to each other. It's the smallest update we've seen in a long, long time. We're not going to say that it's been as long as space has existed, but it's been a long time. There's some Vampire Weekend DLC for <em>Guitar Hero</em> and an <em>UNO</em> demo, if you're interested. There's also more PSP comics. Check out the PSN update after the break.<br />

Unless you're like, a <span style="font-style: italic;">huge UNO</span> fan, or a staunch supporter of speedy restaurant waiters, there's not a huge glut of exciting stuff in this week's <a href="http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2010/01/14/%E2%80%98heads-up%E2%80%99-playstation-store-update-14th-january-2010/">European PSN releases</a>. Still, there's a bunch of games on sale, <span style="font-style: italic;">Rock Band</span> got a metric ton of new tracks, and <span style="font-style: italic;">Guitar Hero 5</span> saw the rhythm game debut of Vampire Weekend. We'll make this one quick: Today's Xbox Live deal has cut the cost of Live Arcade's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/22/xbox-live-marketplace-video-game-buyers-guide/">recommended</a> skip-reverse-plus-4 sim, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/uno-rush"><em>Uno Rush</em></a>. Microsoft has taken 50% off the top, leaving a mere 400 MS Points behind. That's $5!<br />
<br />
Also, did you see what we did there at the beginning? "We'll make this <strong><u><em>one quick</em></u></strong>." <em>Uno Rush</em>. Pretty amazing stuff. Maybe you should give the $5 to <em>us</em> for our fabulous wordplay.<br />

Not so much in WiiWare, whose only release this week is <em>The Incredible </em>(and incredibly <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/23/wii-fanboy-review-the-incredible-maze/">avoidable</a>) <em>Maze</em>, but Virtual Console and DSiWare are absolutely stuffed with games!<br />
<br />
Weirdly, there are <em>two</em> map-based puzzle games on DSiWare. One, <em>Map Map!</em> is a series of puzzle, and the other, <em>Sekai Tanken Kokki World Map</em>, is a quiz game. Also available: a cute puzzle game from the G.G. Series, in which you drop blocks to build a path for a character, a mini version of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/09/find-painting-zen-on-the-ds/"><em>Paint by DS</em></a>, more <em>Jake Hunter</em>, and a <em>really</em> cute game from <em>Mother 3</em> developer Brownie Brown about leading a <em>kappa</em> along paths of coins.<br />

On the upside, both of the demos offered are for games that cost 1,500 Wii Points, which means you could save a pretty large chunk of change if you discover (somehow) that you don't like <em>World of Goo</em>.<br />
<br />
In terms of stuff you pay for, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/shootanto">Shootanto</a> </em>is going to be totally overshadowed by <em>Pokemon Rumble</em>. DSiWare has a decent selection of games, including something that looks kind of like <em>Defend Your Castle</em>, a few card games, and <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/21/pop-developer-making-non-game-dsiware-apps/">myNotebook</a></em>.<br />

Also like last week, Namco Bandai releases a pair of arcade games in the same series, this time the more recognizable <span style="font-style: italic;">Dig Dug</span>. And WiiWare returns! ... With <span style="font-style: italic;">Uno</span>.<br /><br />On DS, there's another chunk of <span style="font-style: italic;">The Tower DS</span>, more Japanese city maps, and some English training.<br />

Nintendo has cracked open the vault of upcoming titles due out later this year, and there's quite a few new titles mentioned for DSiWare. A few we already knew about (<a href="http://nintendo.joystiq.com/2009/01/09/gameloft-and-mattel-team-up-to-bring-uno-to-wiiware/">Gameloft's <em>Uno</em></a> and <a href="http://nintendo.joystiq.com/2009/05/27/hudson-bringing-sudoku-to-dsiware-this-summer/">Hudson's Sudoku games</a> were expected), but <em>Prehistorik Man</em>, published by Interplay, is <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-X7ap3t7RMw&amp;feature=PlayList&amp;p=7032778C6B294229&amp;index=0">an old SNES game</a> (so Virtual Console we guess?), and there's a working title for a DSiWare game called <span style="font-style: italic;">Six in One Translator</span>. Could you be translating between six different languages on your DSi sometime later this year? There are also quite a few "Domo" games planned -- we're guessing these are games that have to do with the popular Japanese Domo character, though<br /><br />The full list of publishers, games, and expected release dates is after the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/02/new-dsiware-revealed-prehistorik-man-six-in-one-translator/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>New DSiware revealed: Prehistorik Man, Six in One Translator</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/02/new-dsiware-revealed-prehistorik-man-six-in-one-translator/">New DSiware revealed: Prehistorik Man, Six in One Translator</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 02 Jun 2009 14:45:00 EST. Microsoft has announced that the next game to be released as part of the <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/days-of-arcade">Days of Arcade</a> promotion will be none other than <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/uno-rush"><em>UNO RUSH</em></a>. A fast-paced version of <em>UNO</em>, the game requires gamers to assemble their hands ahead of time, as everyone's hand is played automatically. The game features online play for up to four players and includes <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/avatars">Avatar</a> support. The game will release this Wednesday for 800<img border="0" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.xbox360fanboy.com/media/2007/11/microsoftpointslogosmall.gif" alt="" />.<br />

Xbox Live figurehead Major Nelson recently updated his blog with the titillating <a href="http://majornelson.com/archive/2009/03/05/the-days-of-arcade-are-coming.aspx">announcement</a> of a six-week long promotion titled the "Days of Arcade." Similar to last year's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/09/26/summer-of-arcade-behind-xblas-best-month-yet/">"Summer of Arcade" event</a>, the promotion will kick off March 18 with the release of <em>Hasbro Family Game Night</em>, with the following five weeks bringing a number of highly anticipated titles to the Marketplace, including <em>The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai</em>, <em>Flock</em>, <em>Outrun Online Arcade</em>, <em>Puzzle Quest: Galactrix</em>, <em>UNO Rush</em> and Tozai Games' remake of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/21/gc-2008-lode-runner-xbla-remake-coming-soon/"><em>Lode Runner</em></a>.<br />
<br />
Aside from <em>Game Night</em>, we won't know which games are coming which weeks until Major Nelson announces them on the Mondays preceeding their Wednesday releases. However, as the keen-eyed mathmaticians among you have already noticed, with seven titles dropping in six weeks, one <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/xbla">XBLA Wednesday</a> will bring us a double dose of downloadable distractions. We've already canceled our Spring Break excursion to Cabo San Lucas in a fit of breathless anticipation.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/03/05/days-of-arcade-promotion-coming-to-xbla-march-18-lode-runner-s/">Days of Arcade promotion coming to XBLA March 18; Lode Runner, six other titles coming soon</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 05 Mar 2009 12:35:00 EST. Chances are, the DS version will be similar to the iPhone release, which is apparently <a href="http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Uno+(iPhone)/review.asp?c=10158">pretty good</a>, but lacks the theme decks and online infrastructure (i.e. Xbox Live friends lists and such) of the Xbox 360 game.<br /><br /><em>Uno</em> decks themselves are a classic, and the Xbox version has done very well, but will the success transfer to other platforms? Will people be as interested in playing online on the DSi as they are on Xbox Live, or does the online service <em>make</em> the game? <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Gameloft/">Gameloft</a> has revealed the first part of their <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/11/21/gameloft-planning-dsiware-and-hybrid-ds-dsi-games/">DSiWare strategy</a> -- along with a new move in their mobile, PSP, PS3, and WiiWare strategies. Through a partnership with Mattel, they'll release a version of the card game <em>Uno</em> on all those platforms we just said. Is this the first official announcement of <em>any</em> specific <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/12/17/ds-fanboys-dsiware-screen-round-up/">DSiWare</a> game for release outside Japan? We think so!<br /><br />Gameloft's president, Michel Guillemot said that "This agreement is the first step towards a long and successful relationship between Mattel, one of the world's premier toy companies and Gameloft, the global leader in video game development," which means we can expect more Mattel properties to be released on pretty much every platform. <em>Uno</em> is a big deal on the Xbox 360, becoming so successful that <em>other</em> companies release theme packs for the XBLA game. Will DSi players care as well?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/09/gameloft-adds-uno-to-dsiware/">Gameloft adds Uno to DSiWare</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 09 Jan 2009 11:30:00 EST. That's what <a href="http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/show/gameloft-partners-with-mattel-to-launch-unotm-across-multiple-platforms,673990.shtml">Gameloft is saying</a>, as they're set to bring the popular Mattel card game to WiiWare. Sadly, we've got no date to go on as of right now, but it can't take too long to pump this out now, can it? <br /><br />Also, the press release mentions that this is merely the first collaboration between Mattel and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/gameloft">Gameloft</a>, so there's a chance we could see other Mattel licenses make their way to Wii. <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/uno">UNO</a> </em>isn't just a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/04/major-nelson-reveals-top-20-xbox-live-games-and-arcade-downloads/">mega-successful game</a> for XBLA anymore, as <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/gameloft">Gameloft</a> <a href="http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/show/gameloft-partners-with-mattel-to-launch-unotm-across-multiple-platforms,673990.shtml">plans</a> to publish the digital incarnation of the card game for any mobile, console and handheld device it can. The publisher announced that beyond the iPhone and iPod versions available now, it expects to bring the game to mobile, PS3, PSP, <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/wiiware">WiiWare</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/dsi-ware">DSi Ware</a>.<br /><br />Furthermore, Gameloft's president states this is a "first step" toward a "successful relationship" between the publisher and Mattel. We'll take that to mean we can expect more Mattel-owned games to be published by Gameloft in the future. You know, unless Gameloft goes for third base on the second date. We hear Mattel's a prude like that.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/08/gameloft-shouts-uno-coming-to-wiiware-dsi-ware-psn-micro/">Gameloft shouts 'Uno,' coming to WiiWare, DSi Ware, PSN, microwaves, toasters ...</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 08 Jan 2009 23:44:00 EST. Now that your NXE Avatar is dressed and ready for ... <em>Hey, yeah!</em> Just what is an Avatar for? Well, if you're not ready to drop 800<img border="0" alt="" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.xbox360fanboy.com/media/2007/11/microsoftpointslogosmall.gif" /> on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/11/06/a-kingdom-for-keflings-first-xbox-avatar-game-on-nov-19-with-n/"><em>A Kingdom for Keflings</em></a>, we're afraid your options are seriously limited. What you can play with are several older Xbox Live Arcade games, which should be <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/31/nxe-avatars-coming-to-some-older-xbla-titles/">updated</a> with limited Avatar support. Specifically, <span style="font-style: italic;">Uno, <span style="font-style: italic;">Bomberman Live</span></span>, <span style="font-style: italic;">Hardwood Hearts</span>, and <span style="font-style: italic;">Hardwood Spades</span> -- disc-based <em>Scene It? Box Office Smash</em> is also due to receive an update enabling Avatar support today.<br /><br />The <em>Uno </em>update will install itself just as any other XBLA title update has in the past (and we can confirm this), but the other three games require additional attention. <a href="http://gamerscoreblog.com/team/archive/2008/11/18/562414.aspx">Gamerscore Blog</a> has laid out the process in a simple 1-2-3 and 4-step guide. We attempted to update <span style="font-style: italic;">Bomberman Live</span> earlier today, however, and were not prompted for the initial update. We can only assume that the update's absence is linked to the current condition of Xbox Live Marketplace (read: wonky). We got hit with the "8000ffff" error -- that's Xbox's way of saying: <em>Try again later.<br /><br /></em>

<div style="text-align: left;">In its latest video expos&eacute; on the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/new-xbox-experience">New Xbox Experience</a>, the <a href="http://gamerscoreblog.com/team/archive/2008/10/31/nxeavtrsgmes.aspx">Gamerscore Blog</a> has teamed with Major Nelson and a few project insiders to show off how <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/avatars">Avatars</a> will work in several older XBLA titles. Specifically, <span style="font-style: italic;">Uno, <span style="font-style: italic;">Bomberman Blast</span></span>, <span style="font-style: italic;">Hardwood Hearts</span>, and <span style="font-style: italic;">Hardwood Spades</span> will all incorporate the virtual "yous" in various ways. <br /><br />In the case of these games, player Avatars will be visible on-screen - you can't actually <span style="font-style: italic;">play </span>as your Avatar in <span style="font-style: italic;">Bomberman</span>, sadly. The video <span style="font-style: italic;">does</span> show that players will be able to be ... themselves in the upcoming Ninjabee town building game, <span style="font-style: italic;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/a-kingdom-for-keflings">A Kingdom for Keflings</a>. </span>(This is likely the new title the Gamerscore crew refer to in their blog update.) <br /><br />A title update for <span style="font-style: italic;">Scene It? Box Office Smash </span>will roll out on Nov. 19 to enable in-game player Avatars (looks like the game didn't ship ready for NXE after all.) Check out the full video below the break.</div>

If the Xbox Live Experience trailer is to be believed, <em>Uno Rush</em> already has a price-point nailed and downloadable content in the works. While showing off the new dashboard update in quick marketing video during the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/e3-2008">Microsoft Press Conference</a> the <em>Uno Rush</em> menu is displayed and reveals an asking price of 400MS points for the game and 800MS points for an something called an <em>Uno Rush Theme Pack</em>. 800MS points for an <em>Uno Rush Theme Pack</em>? We don't know what could possibly be included for that price but if we had to wager, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/rush">Geddy Lee</a> is going to hand deliver the pack to each person on a disc himself. Now that's value!<br />
<br />
Of course, these prices haven't been confirmed as of yet. So, stay tuned.<br />

<em>Uno Rush</em> has been confirmed for release on Xbox Live later this year. No details on what the game is yet, but we hear that you'll be able to win actual, real-life prizes while playing it, including possibly Xbox accessories, Microsoft Points, or even other games.<br />
<br />
We'll keep an eye on anything else we can find out about it -- if old school <em>Uno</em> isn't giving you a Wild Card Draw Four lately, keep an eye out for <em>Rush</em>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/14/uno-rush-confirmed-for-xbla/">Uno Rush confirmed for XBLA</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 14 Jul 2008 14:18:00 EST. <div align="left">Don't panic: It's Mother's Day today in North America. We know it crept up on you, overshadowed by more significant holidays like <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/10/gears-of-war-2-gameplay-footage-debut/"><em>Gears of War 2</em> Gameplay Footage Day</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/Grand-Theft-Auto-IV"><em>GTAIV </em><strike>Day</strike> Month</a>. Luckily, Susan Arendt over at Game|Life has your back, with a list of <a href="http://blog.wired.com/games/2008/05/games-for-all-k.html">excellent gaming gifts for moms of all types</a> (or at least, all gaming types).<br /><br />Does your mom miss those classic card game nights around the kitchen table? Fire up <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/uno"><em>UNO</em></a> on Xbox Live Arcade. Is she a tad overprotective of her offspring? She might relate to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/bioshock"><em>BioShock</em></a>'s Big Daddies (yes, we get the irony). Does she dig cooking and adorably mispronounced English? Then it's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/cooking-mama"><em>Cooking Mama</em></a> all the way.<br /><br />Of course, for moms who are less than avid gamers, there are also a plethora of excellent casual games out there. Titles like <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/peggle"><em>Peggle</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/diner-dash"><em>Diner Dash</em></a>, and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/puzzle-pirates"><em>Puzzle Pirates</em></a> could prove to be perfect distractions for the mom with a lot on her plate. Happy Mother's Day to all the Joystiq-reading maternal units.<br /></div>

Since, you know, we're in the business of informing.<br /><br />XBLA game <em><a href="http://gamerscoreblog.com/team/archive/2007/10/22/554110.aspx">UNO</a></em> just received a title update today allowing for <em>Scene It?'</em>s <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/11/360-gets-scene-it-new-controller/">big button pad</a> support, Vision camera game search and easier access to privacy settings. The other piece of DLC goodness is for <em><a href="http://www.gamingtalkhq.com/gamingtalkhq-home/new-pinball-fx-table-coming-next-week.html">Pinball FX</a></em> and is a new "Buccaneer Table" releasing next Wednesday, October 31st. And if you can't see the link, the release is on Halloween. The new table will cost 200 Microsoft points (though, some are reporting it's free) with more tables releasing in the next few months. You've now been XBLA DLC informed. Lucky you.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.gamingtalkhq.com/gamingtalkhq-home/new-pinball-fx-table-coming-next-week.html">Read</a> - <em>Pinball FX</em> gets new content<br /><a href="http://gamerscoreblog.com/team/archive/2007/10/22/554110.aspx">Read</a> - <em>UNO</em> update<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/24/pinball-fx-goes-halloween-uno-gets-big-button/">Pinball FX goes Halloween, UNO gets big button</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 24 Oct 2007 15:00:00 EST. Yup, in eight weeks, Microsoft's Games for Windows Live service (doesn't roll of the tongue as easily as Xbox Live, eh?) and its inaugural title, <em>Halo 2</em>, will be available for Vista users.<br /><br />Don't care much for <em>Halo 2</em>? In "June" <em>Shadowrun</em> -- the first <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/liveanywhere">Live Anywhere</a> title enabling cross-platform multiplayer -- hits the Xbox 360 and Vista with full Live integration. The final title they're eager to talk about is <em>UNO</em>, which will be released on Vista "later in 2007." We're not sure why a seemingly simple title like <em>UNO</em> isn't making the launch of the service (or even getting a date) but Microsoft assures us there will be more news around this decision later and that it will be apparent why we're not getting a release date now. They also said cross-platform licensing decisions for titles like <em>UNO</em> have not been worked out yet; we're betting this is gonna get tricky.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/games-for-windows-live/">Games for Windows Live (old)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/games-for-windows-live/#184287"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/03/g4w-live-0_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/games-for-windows-live/#184290"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/03/g4w-live-1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/games-for-windows-live/#184288"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/03/g4w-live-2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/games-for-windows-live/#184289"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/03/g4w-live-3_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/14/games-for-windows-live-and-halo-2-hit-vista-may-8th/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Games for Windows Live and Halo 2 hit Vista May 8th</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/14/games-for-windows-live-and-halo-2-hit-vista-may-8th/">Games for Windows Live and Halo 2 hit Vista May 8th</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 14 Mar 2007 03:01:00 EST. According to German site Gamefront, details on the Sega game are vague, and it's only rumored to be related to the popular card game. It would be no surprise to see a well-done Uno game (particularly if it included WiFi play), considering the success of the game on <a href="http://xbox360fanboy.com/tag/uno">Xbox Live</a>, but knowing the Japanese, it could be anything! One thing is certain -- this mysterious title is slated for a June release. We'll keep an eye out for further news clarifying this title.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/02/28/rumor-uno-on-the-ds-again/">Rumor: Uno on the DS (again)</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 28 Feb 2007 13:00:00 EST.
