The Community Milkcrate is a free update, and so is the addition of offline play - sync levels while connected to the<em> Sound Shapes</em> servers, and then play those levels whether on- or offline.<br /><br />Queasy <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/02/24/sound-shapes-patch-with-next-dlc-allows-offline-community-level/">teased</a> this massive DLC and update back in February, noting that it is Cross Buy enabled, and kept successfully silent until now. For a game called <em>Sound Shapes</em>, that's no easy feat.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/12/sound-shapes-dlc-throws-down-cars-campaigns-obstacles-more/">Sound Shapes DLC throws down cars, campaigns, obstacles, more</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 12 Mar 2013 13:45:00 EST. Sidequesting caught <a href="http://www.sidequesting.com/2011/08/first-look-call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3-jeep/">the new edition of the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited</a>, based on <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3">Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3</a>, </em>at a car show in Detroit. While we'll probably see this thing again as the game gets closer to release (likely at <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/23/kanye-west-scheduled-to-close-out-call-of-duty-xp/">next week's big Call of Duty XP</a> convention), here's your first chance to see the ride, all pimped out in <em>MW3</em> style.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/24/modern-warfare-3-edition-jeep-seen-at-detroit-car-show/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Modern Warfare 3 edition Jeep seen at Detroit car show</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/24/modern-warfare-3-edition-jeep-seen-at-detroit-car-show/">Modern Warfare 3 edition Jeep seen at Detroit car show</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 24 Aug 2011 10:15:00 EST. We know that some of you are less than excited about the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/25/mass-effect-2-firewalker-dlc-coming-late-march/">return of vehicular gameplay</a> to the <em>Mass Effect</em> franchise -- we still have vivid nightmares about our time behind the wheel of the Mako from the original game. However, your position will probably be reversed by last night's <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/gametrailers-tv/86?sd=1&amp;ch=4">episode of GameTrailers TV</a>, which showed off the Hammerhead vehicle which will arrive in the upcoming "Firewalker" DLC for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/mass-effect-2"><em>Mass Effect 2</em></a>. It is, in a word, <em>rad</em>. In two words? <em>Totally rad</em>.<br />
<br />

The badass chopper you see above was <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/04/the-resident-evil-chopper-isnt-as-violent-as-it-sounds/">custom-built by the team at Savage Cycles</a> for Capcom, and <a href="http://www.capcom-unity.com/jgonzo/blog/2010/01/09/capcom_@_ces:_resident_evil_motorcycle_reveal">unveiled during the publisher's <em>Dark Void</em> launch party</a> at CES this weekend. It's lovingly crafted, and comes equipped with a shotgun, grenade launcher, grenades, first aid spray and herbs -- all the essentials a zombie genocider needs. Check out this <a href="http://www.capcom-unity.com/jgonzo/blog/2010/01/09/capcom_@_ces:_resident_evil_motorcycle_reveal">Capcom Unity blog post</a> to see a few more pictures of this undead-slaying hog.<br />
<br />
Now, that being said -- is a motorcycle really the best form of transportation in the middle of a zombie onslaught? We mean, it's not exactly secure, you know? It also kinda lacks that <em>ramming power</em> we expect from our apocalyptic means of travel. Give us a Volkswagen Type 2 over that two-wheeled crotch-rocket any day of the week -- this is about survival, folks!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/10/savage-cycles-unveils-custom-resident-evil-motorcycle/">Savage Cycles unveils custom Resident Evil motorcycle</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 10 Jan 2010 19:00:00 EST. That's
the question asked by this promotional site for upcoming car-combat MMO <em>Auto Assault</em>, and like <a
href="http://www.joystiq.com/2005/10/18/hex-168-countdown-ends-a-new-360-contest-begins/">other promotions before
it</a>, there's a competition involved. By taking photos or video of your apocalypse prevention methods, you could win
copies of the game and 6-month subscriptions.<br /><br />Hopefully there will be a gallery of submissions available
later, to demonstrate whether this attempt at viral marketing works or not. It's an interesting premise, but the
disaster-prevention-spoof theme might prove too realistic for some people.<br /><br />[Via <a
href="http://www.brokentoys.org/2006/03/28/in-case-of-fallout-dance/">Broken Toys</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/03/29/apocalyptic-auto-assault-competition/">Apocalyptic Auto Assault competition</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 29 Mar 2006 12:30:00 EST.
