Readers pick best webcomic: Great Debate

It was a photo finish for the top three webcomics this week, with only 16 votes separating first from third. 2P Start's Great Debate earns the much-coveted (hey, let us dream) crown of best game-related webcomic.

Second and third place, and only by a teensy bit, go to Penny Arcade's Thinking Small and Super Effective's SQUIR-. Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!

Readers pick best webcomic: Million Dollar Arcade

·
Dueling Analogs artist Steve Napierski's tongue-in-cheek portrayal of the Penny Arcade duo took top honors in this week's webcomic wrapup. Don't worry, we're sure Tycho and Gabe are in on the joke. After all, PA Adventures is number 3 for all-time best Xbox Live Arcade launches ever.

Second and third place go to VG Cats and, well, Penny Arcade, respectively. Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!

Readers pick best webcomic: I'd be less nervous

It's simple, though not hand-drawn. Still, it gets the point across. We loved A Softer World's entry in this week's webcomic wrapup and, lo and behold, so did you. Congratulations on top honors.

Second and third place go to Super Effective and Penny Arcade, respectively. Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!

Readers pick most Super Effective webcomic

Joystiq readers love Scott Ramsoomair. Like, love love. Anything the VG Cats artist touches pretty much shoots to the top of the webcomic wrapup by default. So his spinoff strip, Super Effective, unsurprisingly took very top honors this week.

Second and third place go to 2P Start and Digital Unrest, respectively. Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!

Readers pick best webcomic: Make it double

That initial glitch in the webcomic wrapup polling didn't affect the final vote. VG Cats' Poké-strip (as in comic strip and not ... eww) was given the rather dubious award for week's best game-related webcomic with quadruple (make it quadruple!) the vote of second place.

Runners up include Dueling Analogs and Digital Unrest, respectively. Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!

Readers pick best webcomic: Going Online

Perhaps its apt timing or name brand (both the comic and the topic), but VG Cats' Going Online webcomic took first place in this week's wrapup. Second place goes to newcomer Cectic and third place 2P Start, beating out by just a handful of votes Dueling Analogs' morbidly fun Professor Layton comic. Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!

Readers pick best webcomic: Our Crucial Pamphlet

We're not previewing the strip because we don't want to give it away. Penny Arcade's "Our Crucial Pamphlet" narrowly beat out VG Cats' "Communication Degree" to be voted the week's best game-related webcomic.

Third place went to GamerPALs. Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any gaming comics you stumble upon this week!

Readers pick best webcomic: 100 Kirbies

One hundred Kirby amalgams make for one hundred different avatars. Special thanks to VG Cats' Scott Ramsoomair for the Grim Fandango-inspired Kirby. As prize, we (and the Joystiq voters) crown the strip best webcomic of the week.

Second and third place go to 2P Start (another great source of avatars) and Penny Arcade, respectively. Thanks to everyone who voted and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomic you stumble upon this week!

Readers pick best webcomic: "Falcon ..."

Falcon Winner! (Sorry, we couldn't resist.) The winner of this week's webcomic wrapup knows the meaning of a good Captain Falcon gag -- thank you, GamerPALs for also promoting educational values and loud screams in public places.

Second and third place goes to VG Cats (note: published before spoilers) and Penny Arcade, respectively. Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!

Readers pick best webcomic: parental guidance is advised

By quite a large margin, Scott Ramsoomair's VG Cats took the top spot in the webcomic wrapup this week -- but is it a love for Valve's amazing game Portal or a fascination with endangered infants that drove our readers en masse to vote?

Second and third place go to Penny Arcade and 2P Start, respectively. Thanks to everyone who voted; be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!

Readers pick best webcomic: baked goods

People's love for Portal and Mario knows no boundaries, and VG Cats' amalgam of the ideas earned top honors as the week's best game webcomic. Second place went to our personal favorite of the week, Dueling Analogs, while third place was claimed by Ctrl+Alt+Del.

Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week. Happy Halloween!

Readers pick best webcomic: And now you know ...

What's the masked mushroom looking at? You're going to have to peruse Dueling Analogs, this week's webcomic wrapup winner, to find out.

Second and third place were quite close, with Digital Unrest (a guest strip from RPG-TV) barely toppling VG Cats. Thanks to everyone who voted and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!
