Do you enjoy knowing what time it is? Do you love playing Metal Gear Solid 4? Why not combine the two with this limited edition Metal Gear Solid 4 watch. It's exclusive to the UK and only available from GameStation. When we say "limited edition," we mean it. There are only 500 of these being made available and that is reflected in the price. Each watch comes with a gift box and a certificate of authenticity, showing that Hideo Kojima has "approved" it himself. Obviously we wouldn't want it, otherwise.

The watch itself is made out of stainless steel and has the Metal Gear Solid 4 logo emblazoned on the face. It's not out until the end of October, so if the price feels a little steep you've got another four months to save up. For more details check out the GameStation webpage for the item.

We don't advise buying gifts for anyone who won't show you their Pokemans, but for anyone willing to show you them, you might want to look into these cute little Poke-watches. They've got a bright, retro look that's sure to catch the eye of other Pikachu devotees in the area. Looks like they're available in both red and blue, and while we're big fans of the color blue in general, red just seems a little more evocative of all things Pokemon.

Available from ThinkGeek for the small price of $8.99 USD, these exact recreations of their 80's counterparts look to be worth every penny. Obviously the Donkey Kong game has Mario leaping over barrels to rescue his damsel in distress, whilst Link must navigate complex dungeons in Legend of Zelda. These also keep excellent time!

So who else plans on picking this up with us?

Do you remember that Club Nintendo reward we posted about awhile ago? Well, IGN got their hands on a copy and have decided to put it through its paces. The compilation could easily be considered something else considering it only contains 3 classic Game & Watch titles: Donkey Kong, Oil Panic and Green House.

The gameplay itself, including the graphical presentation, is unchanged in making its way onto the DS, so nostalgic gamers should get exactly what they're looking for if they can collect the points required to obtain the game and, well...live in Japan. IGN even posted a video of the game in action.

Nintendo of Japan recently announced that through its Club Nintendo program, gamers over in Japan would be able to acquire Game & Watch Compilation, which features three classics in Donkey Kong, Oil Panic, and Greenhouse. In purchasing Japanese Nintendo games, there are included inserts that equal a certain amount of points, 500 to be exact, will score the gamer a copy of this compilation. As of now, there is no word on a release for the US, but here's to hoping it's successful over there as I know I'm not the only US gamer who would love to get their mitts on a copy.

In our continuing coverage of cool things that can be done with your old DS once you purchase a DS Lite (and you will), we bring to you the Game and Watch Donkey Kong mod. This fine french modder, who goes by the name of Kotomi, was responsible for the old school modded DS and seems to be keeping busy. If you check out other posts on his blog, you'll also see a Zelda Game and Watch mod along with some other cool stuff.

For those of you without the ability to read French, try Babel Fish.
