Do you love playing <em>Metal Gear Solid</em> <em>4</em>? Why not combine the two with this limited edition <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/mgs4"><em>Metal Gear Solid 4</em></a> watch. It's exclusive to the UK and only available from GameStation. When we say "limited edition," we mean it. There are only 500 of these being made available and that is reflected in the price. Each watch comes with a gift box and a certificate of authenticity, showing that Hideo Kojima has "approved" it himself. Obviously we wouldn't want it, otherwise.<br /><br />The watch itself is made out of stainless steel and has the <em>Metal Gear Solid 4</em> logo emblazoned on the face. It's not out until the end of October, so if the price feels a little steep you've got another four months to save up. For more details check out the <a href="http://www.gamestation.co.uk/product.asp?id=man0154">GameStation webpage</a> for the item.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/19/go-on-buy-a-limited-edition-mgs4-watch-we-did/">Go on, buy a limited edition MGS4 watch - we did</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 19 Jun 2008 17:00:00 EST. They've got a bright, retro look that's sure to catch the eye of other Pikachu devotees in the area. Looks like they're available in both red and blue, and while we're big fans of the color blue in general, red just seems a little more evocative of all things Pokemon.<br /><br />[Thanks to Kefka for inspiring this image <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/02/02/friday-video-let-me-show-you-them/">way back when</a>.]<br />[Update 1: A terrible typo.]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/02/26/gotta-wear-em-all/">Gotta wear 'em all [update 1]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 26 Feb 2007 14:15:00 EST. Obviously the <em>Donkey Kong</em> game has Mario leaping over barrels to rescue his damsel in distress, whilst Link must navigate complex dungeons in <em>Legend of Zelda</em>. Well, IGN got their hands on a copy and have decided to put it through its paces. The compilation could easily be considered something else considering it only contains 3 classic <em>Game &amp; Watch</em> titles: <em>Donkey Kong</em>, <em>Oil Panic</em> and <em>Green House</em>. <br /><br />The gameplay itself, including the graphical presentation, is unchanged in making its way onto the DS, so nostalgic gamers should get exactly what they're looking for if they can collect the points required to obtain the game and, well...live in Japan. IGN even posted a <a href="http://media.ds.ign.com/media/848/848546/vids_1.html">video</a> of the game in action.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/08/15/game-and-watch-collection-previewed/">Game &amp; Watch collection previewed</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 15 Aug 2006 12:15:00 EST. In purchasing Japanese Nintendo games, there are included inserts that equal a certain amount of points, 500 to be exact, will score the gamer a copy of this compilation. As of now, there is no word on a release for the US, but here's to hoping it's successful over there as I know I'm not the only US gamer who would love to get their mitts on a copy.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.gamebrink.com/news/480-Game__Watch_Comes_To_The_Nintendo_DS.html">Game Brink</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/06/19/game-and-watch-compilation-coming-soon/">Game &amp; Watch compilation coming soon?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 19 Jun 2006 09:13:00 EST.
