That's around the same time XSEED plans to bring the Namco Bandai title to North America. <br />

Also in March, the publisher will release <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/rune-factory-frontier"><em>Rune Factory Frontier</em></a> on Wii, and <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/avalon-code"><em>Avalon Code</em></a> and <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/my-world-my-way"><em>My World My Way</em></a> on DS. Before that, in February, Rising Star will release <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/half-minute-hero"><em>Half-Minute Hero</em></a> on PSP, and, through "affiliate label" Gamebridge, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/way-of-the-samurai-3">Way of the Samurai 3</a>. </em>We've got Rising Star's full lineup listed after the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/29/rising-stars-q1-lineup-for-europe-includes-fragile-way-of-the/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Rising Star's Q1 lineup for Europe includes Fragile, Way of the Samurai 3</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/29/rising-stars-q1-lineup-for-europe-includes-fragile-way-of-the/">Rising Star's Q1 lineup for Europe includes Fragile, Way of the Samurai 3</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 29 Oct 2009 17:00:00 EST. The graphics may be a bit undercooked and the series' last entry may have been released in the States over five years ago, but we certainly were happy to hear that <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/way-of-the-samurai-3"><em>Way of the Samurai 3</em></a> will be arriving on October 13th in the US. Agetec and UFO Interactive -- in charge of publishing the PS3 and 360 iterations, respectively -- <a href="http://videogames.yahoo.com/news-1355601">officially announced</a> the game's impending October arrival yesterday, as well as news of an iPhone iteration of the game currently available for free.<br /><br />Sure, the iPhone version of <em>WotS3</em> isn't much more than a side-scrolling brawler, but hey, it's <em>free</em>! Hopefully that can sate your samurai murdering urges for another month. <br /><br /><strong>Way of the Samurai 3 ($0.00): </strong><a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=330353865&amp;mt=8"><img height="15" width="61" border="0" src="http://ax.itunes.apple.com/images/badgeitunes61x15dark.gif" alt="Way of the Samurai 3" /></a><br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.destructoid.com/way-of-the-samurai-3-coming-to-na-oct-13-149179.phtml">Destructoid</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/19/way-of-the-samurai-3-cuttin-fools-in-na-this-october/">Way of the Samurai 3 cuttin' fools in NA this October</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 19 Sep 2009 20:30:00 EST. At long last, there's an answer to the following <em>timeless</em> riddle -- how many publishers does it take to port a Japanese-centric franchise to North America on two different systems? Okay, <em>fine</em>, that's not so much a timeless riddle as it is a question we just made up, but it's been answered regardless: In the case of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/way-of-the-samurai-3"><em>Way of the Samurai 3</em></a>, the answer is two. Agetec and UFO Interactive <a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2009/08/20/way-of-the-samurai-3-comes-to-north-america-thanks-to-two-publishers/">will be bringing Spike's samurai sim stateside</a>, each publishing the title on one platform a piece (PS3 and Xbox 360, respectively).<br /><br />We knew <a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2009/05/29/way-of-the-samurai-3-stealth-announced-for-north-america/">UFO would be bringing the game to North American 360s</a> -- but couldn't foresee Agetec's involvement in the game's importing. Now we just need Atlus to bring the game to the Wii, and this bizarre localization triumvirate will be complete.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/21/way-of-the-samurai-3-coming-to-north-america-via-two-publishers/">Way of the Samurai 3 coming to North America via two publishers</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 21 Aug 2009 19:40:00 EST. Another PlayStation exclusive has made the jump to the Xbox 360! Don't get too excited it's <em>Way of the Samurai.</em> After selling just over 80,000 units in Japan on the PlayStation 3 in November, publisher Spike has seen fit to try its hand at an Xbox 360 release. <em><a href="http://www.famitsu.com/game/news/1220929_1124.html">Way of the Samurai 3</a></em> (<em>Samurai Dou 3</em>) is slated to release on the Xbox 360 in Japan on February 26, 2009. Developer Acquire and publisher Spike promise the Xbox version will include <em>new elements</em> and offer some kind of downloadable content.<br /><br />[via <a href="http://kotaku.com/5121824/way-of-the-samurai-finds-path-to-xbox-360">Kotaku</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/12/31/way-of-the-samurai-ninja-rolls-to-the-xbox-360/">Way of the Samurai ninja-rolls to the Xbox 360</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 31 Dec 2008 20:00:00 EST. It was a ninja stealth-action game that the PlayStation birthed. It was fun and had a couple of sequels -- offspring, if we want to continue the analogy. Well, that franchise has gone to the Wii and Acquire seemed to leave the PlayStation behind. <a href="http://ps3.ign.com/articles/881/881542p1.html?RSSwhen2008-06-13_084600&amp;RSSid=881542">Not so</a>! <em>Way of the Samurai 3</em> is making its way to the PS3 to be published by Spike in Japan this year, according to Famitsu.<br /><br />Visuals get a minor tweak (the second game in the series is pictured), but gameplay is what's really changed. Characters are getting much better AI, for starters. The storyline will be influenced by your actions; in certain events or cutscenes you will have the option to draw your sword or remain calm and unflappable. Sounds cool, but then again, we haven't heard if Capcom will pick up the third one for release outside of Japan since they brought over the second.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/14/way-of-the-samurai-3-spreading-bushido-love-on-ps3/">Way of the Samurai 3 spreading bushido love on PS3</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 14 Jun 2008 01:30:00 EST.
