<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/square-enix">Square Enix</a> has released some brand new DLC for its saccharine puzzler, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/yosumin-live"><em>Yosumin Live</em></a>. Called "Yosumin Adventure," the content has players traveling "the world to recover the pieces of a beautiful stained-glass window." That's just <em>precious</em>, which is in keeping with the game's already colorful presentation. According to <a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2009/06/24/yosumin-live-gets-adventurous-with-downloadable-content/">Siliconera</a>, the content adds a full 180 stages to the game. At only 80<img border="0" alt="" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.xbox360fanboy.com/media/2007/11/microsoftpointslogosmall.gif" /> ($1), we'd say it's a steal for <em>Yosumin</em> fans.<br /><br /><a href="http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/offers/0ccf0001-0000-4000-8000-00005841098b?cid=SLink"><strong>Add "Yosumin Adventure" to your Xbox 360 download queue.</strong></a><br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2009/06/24/yosumin-live-gets-adventurous-with-downloadable-content/">Siliconera</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/25/yosumin-live-dlc-now-available-adorable/">Yosumin Live DLC now available, adorable</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 25 Jun 2009 12:30:00 EST. First up is <em>Yosumin Live</em>, the Japanese mobile phone game turned XBLA puzzler. Next is <em>Wallace &amp; Gromit in Fright of the Bumblebees</em> from TellTale Games, creators of <em>Sam &amp; Max</em> and the <em>Strong Bad</em> series. Watch the latest episode of XBLA in Brief and see if either is up your alley.<br /><br />Oh, and <em>Boggle</em> was released this week for <em>Hasbro Family Game Night</em> as well. We didn't include it in the video, because we're guessing it's an awful lot like <em>Boggle</em>.<br /><br /><strong><a target="_blank" href="http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/media/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8025841098b/?of=1">Download the trial version of <em>Yosumin Live</em></a></strong><br /> <a href="http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/media/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8025841093c/?of=1"><strong>Download the trial version of <em>Wallace &amp; Gromit episode 1</em></strong></a><br /><a href="http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/offers/00002001-0000-4000-8000-000058410981?cid=SLink"><strong>Download the trial version of <em>Boggle</em></strong></a><br /> <br /><br />[<a href="itpc://feeds.feedburner.com/x3ftv">iTunes</a>] Subscribe to X3F TV directly in iTunes.<br />[<a href="zune://subscribe/?Xbox%20360%20Fanboy=http%3A%2F%2Ffeeds.feedburner.com%2Fx3ftv">Zune</a>] Subscribe to the X3F TV directly.<br />[<a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/x3ftv">RSS</a>] Add the X3F TV feed to your RSS aggregator and have the show delivered automatically.<br />[<a href="http://podcasts.aolcdn.com/joystiq/podcasts/xblabrief-wallace.m4v">M4V</a>] Download the M4V directly.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/27/x3f-tv-xbla-in-brief-yosumin-live-wallace-and-gromit-episode/">X3F TV -- XBLA in Brief: Yosumin Live, Wallace &amp; Gromit episode 1</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 27 May 2009 15:00:00 EST. <a href="http://majornelson.com/archive/2009/05/22/coming-to-arcade-next-week.aspx">Major Nelson</a> was authorized to break with tradition (due to the Memorial Day weekend) and has revealed next week's XBLA titles early. The arcade will finally be graced by <a href="joystiq.com/tag/Telltale">Telltale</a>'s adventure title <em>Wallace &amp; Gromit</em>, along with <em>Yosumin Live</em> and <em>Boggle</em> for <em>Hasbro Family Game Night</em>. All the titles mentioned will be 800<img border="0" alt="" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.xbox360fanboy.com/media/2007/11/microsoftpointslogosmall.gif" /> ($10) apiece.<br /><br />If paying $10 for <em>Boggle</em> next week seems a bit high, you can always search flea markets over the holiday weekend and find it for a couple bucks. There always seems to be a copy of <em>Boggle</em> at those things.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wallace-and-gromits-grand-adventures/">Wallace &amp; Gromit's Grand Adventures</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wallace-and-gromits-grand-adventures/#1241573"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/12/wg_-screen_basement_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wallace-and-gromits-grand-adventures/#1241572"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/12/wg_screen_gromit_mixer_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wallace-and-gromits-grand-adventures/#1241575"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/12/wg_screen_squirrel_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wallace-and-gromits-grand-adventures/#1241576"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/12/wg_screen_street_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/wallace-and-gromits-grand-adventures/#1241574"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/12/wg_screen_tanker_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/22/next-wednesday-wallace-and-gromit-yosumin-live-and-boggle/">Next Wednesday: Wallace &amp; Gromit, Yosumin Live and Boggle</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 22 May 2009 13:45:00 EST. Microsoft's plans for the Far East have always been something of a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/03/31/big-in-japan-xbox-360-cracks-1-million-ps3-just-over-3-million/">murky</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/20/survey-says-xbox-360-leads-in-consumer-satisfaction-in-japan/">science</a>, pea soup made somewhat more clear following the company's recent media conference in Japan. Siliconera reports that the Xbox 360 will play host to a number of high-profile titles in Japan in the months ahead, 31 in all, including <em>Magna Carta 2</em> in August and tri-Ace RPG <em>End of Eternity </em>(sadly not based on the Isaac Asimov novel) in the winter.<br /><br />Japanese gamers will finally get to suit up as a decidedly <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/20/mass-effect-2-teaser-gives-grim-fate-to-shepard-and-co/">not dead yet</a> Commander Shepard when the original <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/mass-effect"><em>Mass Effect</em></a> finally graces Japanese store shelves on May 21, while players will have to wait until later this summer to cure the locust plague in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/gears-of-war-2"><em>Gears of War 2</em></a>. <br /><br />Another 14 XBLA titles were confirmed at the event, including the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/24/voot-virtual-on-oratorio-tangram-coming-to-xbla/">previously announced</a> remake of mech shooter <em>Virtual On Oratorio Tangram</em>, which will arrive in Japan on April 29. Other notable upcoming downloads include <em>Mega Man 9</em> in June, <em>Space Invaders Extreme</em> this spring and <em>The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match</em> sometime in 2010. And what of Square Enix, which plans fill Japanese XBLA appetites this year with puzzler <em>Yosumin Live</em>, <em>Project Cube</em> and the wonderfully titled<em> 0 Day Attack on Earth</em> (pictured)? Well, we have those trailers for you after the break.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2009/04/21/this-is-what-microsoft-has-planned-for-japanese-retailers-for-now/">Source</a>: This Is What Microsoft Has Planned For Japanese Retailers For Now<br /><a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2009/04/21/square-enix-and-snk-blast-announce-xbox-live-arcade-games/">Source</a>: Square Enix And SNK Blast Announce Xbox Live Arcade Games<br /><a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2009/04/21/watch-some-square-enix-xbox-live-arcade-trailers/">Source</a>: Watch Some Square Enix Xbox Live Arcade Trailers<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/21/microsoft-readying-31-game-barrage-for-japan/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Microsoft readying 31-game barrage for Japan</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/21/microsoft-readying-31-game-barrage-for-japan/">Microsoft readying 31-game barrage for Japan</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 21 Apr 2009 09:25:00 EST. Earlier this month, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/03/square-enix-likely-bringing-yosumin-live-to-xbla/">a number of screengrabs</a> for what appeared to be an Xbox Live Arcade port of Square Enix's popular portable puzzler, <em>Yosumin</em>, leaked out of various enthusiast press sites. If they looked legit, it's because they <em>totally were</em>. In a press release heralding the Japanese XBLA launch of <em>Crystal Defenders</em> (a port of a Squeenix mobile strategy game), the company <a href="http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3172455">revealed that its second Live Arcade project</a> would, in fact, be a port of the aforementioned portable puzzler, titled <em>Yosumin Live</em>.<br /><br />This is exciting news for block-swapping puzzle fans, but the real megaton comes later in the presser: "Beginning with these two games, Square Enix plans to release a steady stream of its popular titles -- as well as original content -- on Xbox LIVE Arcade." Try not to let your brain catch fire as you begin a marathon session of fevered speculation.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/27/square-enix-confirms-yosumin-live-more-xbla-ports-on-the-way/">Square Enix confirms Yosumin Live, more XBLA ports on the way</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 27 Jan 2009 13:05:00 EST. Hot on the heels of the announcement of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/21/square-enixs-crystal-defenders-to-defend-live-arcade/"><em>Crystal Defenders</em></a> for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/xbla">Xbox Live Arcade</a>, 1UP <a href="http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3172455">reveals</a> that Square Enix has still more planned for the download service. The next announced title will be <em>Yosumin Live</em>, a port of a Japanese puzzle game originally designed for the DS, which was first <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/02/square-enix-to-bring-yosumin-live-to-the-xbla/">rumored</a> -- and more or less confirmed -- early this month. The game requires players to connect blocks of the same color diagonally, thus eliminating all the blocks in between. The further apart the two original block, the bigger the score. If it sounds confusing, you can check out a video of the original after the break.<br /><br />It looks like Square Enix isn't stopping there, as 1UP reports that the press release announces that the company plans to release "a steady stream of its popular titles -- as well as original content" on XBLA in the future. Exactly what these titles will be remains to be seen. It's possible Square Enix will draw from its catalog of mobile games or, dare we dream, even its catalog of RPGs.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/26/square-enix-prepares-steady-stream-of-titles-for-xbla/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Square Enix prepares "steady stream" of titles for XBLA</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/26/square-enix-prepares-steady-stream-of-titles-for-xbla/">Square Enix prepares "steady stream" of titles for XBLA</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 26 Jan 2009 18:30:00 EST. Last November, Square Enix dropped <a href="http://www.dsfanboy.com/2007/09/07/the-actual-ds-version-of-yosumin/">a portable port of their web-based puzzler <em>Yosumin</em></a> on an unassuming Japan. Despite receiving middle-of-the-road reviews, it seems that Squeenix has decided to release an XBLA port of the game, titled <em>Yosumin Live</em>, as evidenced by a few screengrabs from <a href="http://rumblepack.wordpress.com/2008/12/30/lol-internet-imagens-de-yosumin-live-para-xbla-vazadas/">Portuguese site RumblePack</a> as well as <a href="http://www.destructoid.com/elephant/photo-m.phtml?post_key=116416">a few leaked screenshots from Destructoid</a>.<br /><br /><em>Yosumin</em>, for those not in the know, is a <em>Bejeweled</em>-esque title in which the player must clear similarly-shaped blocks by swapping them into rectangular formations. <a href="http://rumblepack.files.wordpress.com/2008/12/17a.jpg?w=450&amp;h=338">A screenshot clearly showing an "Achievements" tab</a> in the opening menu is the main evidence that the game is coming out on XBLA, though RumblePack claims <em>Yosumin Live</em> will make its move to the PSN shortly thereafter. There's no source given for said hypothesis, though -- we'll have to wait for word from Square Enix for further details.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/03/square-enix-likely-bringing-yosumin-live-to-xbla/">Square Enix likely bringing Yosumin Live to XBLA</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 03 Jan 2009 18:30:00 EST. <div align="left">According to not so English and very foreign website <a href="http://rumblepack.wordpress.com/2008/12/30/lol-internet-imagens-de-yosumin-live-para-xbla-vazadas/">rumblepack</a> and more or less confirmed by the <a href="http://www.destructoid.com/square-enix-s-yosumin-live-headed-to-xbox-live-arcade-116416.phtml">Destructoid</a> crew, Square Enix's colorful puzzle game <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yosumin_DS"><em>Yosumin Live</em></a> will be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade in the not to distant future. There's off-screen screengrabs as well as press assets to prove it, which can be viewed after the jump.<br /></div>

<br />Oh, and if you are <em>Yosumin </em>clueless, just think of it as puzzle game where you match up various symbols (that have adorable faces on 'em) in the shape of a rectangle.
