I'll be the first to admit the PS3 hasnt had any proper "killer apps" in the past year, what weve had is developers beginning to understand the way the PS3 works and beginning to create "good" not "fantastic", but good games that people would enjoy if they actually played them, we all know that everyone was crying and bitching about the PS3 being too hard to develop for, and we all know now that this was all bullshit, due to numerous developers creating decent games, and numerous developers coming out and saying that it isnt hard to develop for. The difference between 2007 and 2008 is in 2006 people were trying to hype up things that didnt exist, on nothing more than rumours. We KNOW that these games are coming in 2008, unless unexpected circumstances appear, and we also know that since developers can now work with the PS3 properly, they will be damn good games.

Also, you know Burnout? It was developed on the PS3 instead of the 360, and this lead to a great looking PS3 game, and a better 360 game than they wouldve got when developing on 360.
