I really enjoy it, I just wish I could play it on my mac with out using vmware fusion or bootcamp.

I like that I can play games on any computer. It'll need a better library to really take off though.

I tried it, but then GMail started acting wonky in Firefox. Might've been a coincidence, but I uninstalled the InstantAction AddOn and things went back to normal.

Give me a stand-alone client and I'd be happy. (I mean offer a choice, a stand-alone client or the browser plugin -- I'm not advocating them giving up the browser based system.)

The free games model seems to be really taking off on the PC. Wild Tangent's "Orb", Gametap, Battlefield Heros, Quake Zero, "free-to-play" MMO's, and all those causal games you can play for free in a Web browser .....

I've enjoyed all of the games so far... I'd still consider them to be casual titles, but it's fun to pick up and play on the laptop for a bit.

It looks good, but I don't think it will last long.

For people like me who tear through new games quickly and then need something(s) to keep busy in the long dry spells between new releases, this should be good times.

I wonder if I might get tired of it quickly as well though...

as long as marble blast is there, it's ok... but why not just stick to steam?

I feel that adding internet solitaire to InstantAction is a great idea. It worked for Uno.

Marble blast is cool game.

I own Marble Blast on XBLA, and while I much rather prefer playing with the XBOX360 Controller, the mouse and keyboard combo also lends itself well to this game. However, I do not get very good performance ingame...I have a pretty decent rig (C2D E6600@ 2.9GHz, 2GB RAM, ATi x1950xt, XP SP2), maybe I should try the applet in IE instead.

I tired it out last night. I had fun with it, but the load times for a lot of people were way to slow. I only got a few games in. I will try it out again tonight because it seems promising.

I have Gametap which has TONS more games, but why not give it a go.

wow marble blast looks pretty fun and as do some of the other games, looking forward to playing.

Love these sort of games, although it will be interesting to see how many people join.

The framerates were terrible. marble blast online was okay, but the rest were unplayable, and i have a high end machine. as for the selection, marble blast was the only one that held any interest for me(and i already have the XBLA version), though i could see playing tribes in the future.

From the moment that I heard about GarageGames and their InstantAction.com project I was interested. I always thought that even though web games are already extremely popular, there was a lot of room for growth and innovation. It seems that GarageGames agrees, and their response is InstantAction.com. Typically whenever I heard someone mention “web games” I would mentally picture a fun and addicting but simplistic 2D game created with Adobe flash or some similar technology. Chances are you think of something similar when you hear the phrase as well. GarageGames is hoping to change that by creating console quality 3D games that run in a normal web browser. These games are integrated with their website, which provides features such as universal friends lists, game invites, a party system, leaderboards, ect. If you have ever used Xbox Live, these features should sound very familiar. What makes it exciting is how they are being applied to some pretty impressive looking games that run right in your web browser.

I was recently accepted into the beta for the website and I am pretty impressed so far. While there is absolutely no denying that the website is still in a beta state, it is already working well enough to jump into a game with a group of friends and have a lot of fun. There is just something really cool about playing Marble Blast (a game that I played a lot of on Xbox 360) in my browser. I really loved Marble Blast on the 360, and it’s really neat to think about how this service will allow me to easily get more of my friends to check it out. The website is really simple to use, and I could easily see someone like my sister checking it out and playing Marble Blast with me online.

Now I just can’t wait to check out Legions when it reaches beta. That game looks like a very promising first person shooter.
