Guitar Hero III Mobile has sold over a million units according to publisher Hands-On Mobile, which had previously announced that the game had also seen over 7.5 million song downloads in under six months. Mobile phones are one thing, but we still have to wonder whether we'll see people playing Guitar Hero DS on the train in the morning.
As there's obviously a market for this title, we might as well mention that the June song pack for the game will feature "Stricken" by Disturbed, along with covers of "Talk Dirty to Me" by Poison and "Rock and Roll All Nite" by KISS. We want to try and understand why people download GH Mobile, but we just hope Phase is doing as well.

It just came out on Sprint last week and I got tempted and gave in.....
At least its better than Guitar Legend Got on Stage!, now that was awful. It also is the actual music as oppose to mobile midi's.
I am also actually trying to justify my purchase. :(

@Scotty
That's because GH hasn't reached Tony Hawk status where people actually stop buying the games. Until that happens the milking will continue

Everytime you press a link, or the reply button, the screen turns black and this ad is displayed. And when the ad is showing, theres a button that says: Skip Commercial, but when you press it, it doesnt work, and you have to refresh the webpage, and sometimes when you refresh, the same ad is displayed. It's very annoying.

Oh and I cant believe ANY mobile game sells anything at all. EVERY mobile game is so bad, I would rather do nothing then play them. I can download them free to my phone, and I still refuse to paly them.
Even that 1 zelda game that guy made, which is probably the best mobile phone game to date, still was so boring I would rather not play it and look at a wall while I wait. Lets leave portable gaming to the DS and PSP

Bought this game, and it's mostly crap. I mean, even the DS is getting four fret buttons, and this only has three. Plus, the DLC feature is broken on most phones due to crappy programming. Can't get it to work on my Blackberry 8700c. Tech support assures me they're on the issue but I've heard lots of reports of this happening to others. I should know better, but hey, it's mobile GH. I'm a sucker. I even bought the LCD game. Now Phase, that's a true game. Fun stuff.
