Fanswag: USA Today Crossword Challenge

You know what gets taken for granted a lot? The morning crossword. Seriously, it seems like nobody opens up the paper anymore and sits down with their breakfast and enjoys a crossword puzzle. It seems everyone is nuts for this Sudoku thing. Well, we're trying to bring back the crossword, baby!

This week, we're unloading USA Today Crossword Challenge onto 5 lucky readers. That's right, we've got 5 copies (each valued at $20) of the game. How can you enter for a chance at one of these? Easy, leave a comment telling us the last time you sat down and did a crossword!

You can leave one comment per day and the contest will be closing on Sunday, August 17th at 11:59PM ET. The giveaway is open to folks 18 years of age or older and all entrants must be current and legal residents of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec). School, so before the end of summer.

It's been a few weeks, but it was NYT Crossword on my DS.

On my DS, a couple of weeks ago. On paper? Let's just say it's been a while.

Been playing CrossworDS again.

Count me in! I love me some crosswords.

Oh, and did I mention I did a crossword last week?

Prior to the above mentioned crosswords, my previous crossword was many, many years ago. I couldn't even begin to tell you when or where.

I don't usually double post on these even if it's allowed, but I figured why not? I suck at crosswords and if I win maybe the way it babies you early and gets ugly late will make the difference.

mmm, hot crossword action

Again, it was about a week ago now, playing New York Times Crosswords on DS.

I do at least one crossword (pen-and-paper style) a day. I'm always buying a book to have around the house. They come in mighty handy for when the power goes out (and the DS battery is dead ;) )

For a good period of 2 months I did them about every other day.. I'd say from January thru February this year. No doubt this game would get me back on (a place where cars race).

oooch! Still want! Love the puzzle! Summer in Paris is always "este"!!

The last time I did a crossword puzzle I was at the doctor's office and waiting to have my LASIK operation done. I was so nervous that I had to pick up a puzzle and so something to forget!!

i particularly like crossword games. i play them a lot.

but just recently i started guitar hero. and then got addicted.

lets just say its locked up and im shaking in the corner calming down from the guitar hero disease.

but yeah, crosswords help. :)

I think the last time I did a crossword was Junior year of High School. Best be getting back into the groove!

Last Saturday morning.

right before dinner tonight. I had to finish the one from yesterday

I got an electronic crossword "game" as a gift, so I'm working on that as we speak ... I've never played on my DS!

I have the crossword app on my iPhone and did three on my last plane trip.

I do the NY times crossword puzzle ever sunday....with my mom.

I did one earlier today, although I didn't finish it. The local paper has a small crossword six days a week, and each puzzle is perfect for me because of my skill level. I can usually fill in at least 70% of the clues. Now the New York Times crosswords, on the other hand, are borderline impossible. They make me humble, you could say.

I tried doing one this morning but I gave up after awhile

Visiting my parents, I did one of the xwords in my father's Dell magazine. And tomorrow I get to do the Times Sunday crossword again!

I try to do the Times crossword most days during my lunch break, but I can usually only manage to finish the Monday and sometimes Tuesday puzzles. By Wednesday I struggle to get much done at all.

Last time I did a Crossword was when I downloaded the Crossword DS demo from my Wii. I love crossword puzzles. D: I actually want this game cuz my broke a$$ is out of work atm. :(

Someone made a rather silly online crossword where the answers were all shooting game related. That was the last one I did.

I seriously do the crossword every thursday morning with my co-workers. Despite the technological advances of the world, there's something terribly therapeutic and old fashioned about it, and I enjoy it! Goooo crosswords!
