Fanswag: USA Today Crossword Challenge

You know what gets taken for granted a lot? The morning crossword. Seriously, it seems like nobody opens up the paper anymore and sits down with their breakfast and enjoys a crossword puzzle. It seems everyone is nuts for this Sudoku thing. Well, we're trying to bring back the crossword, baby!

This week, we're unloading USA Today Crossword Challenge onto 5 lucky readers. That's right, we've got 5 copies (each valued at $20) of the game. How can you enter for a chance at one of these? Easy, leave a comment telling us the last time you sat down and did a crossword!

You can leave one comment per day and the contest will be closing on Sunday, August 17th at 11:59PM ET. The giveaway is open to folks 18 years of age or older and all entrants must be current and legal residents of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec). I did a crossword a couple of days ago, but to do them on the DS would be SO much better...

I did one of those crummy gossip-mag crosswords last night during lunch. (I was desperate to do something.)

I last did a real crossword last week during lunch. (Notice a trend here?)

Wow... I can't even remember. XD;; I used to love doing crossword puzzles. I would guess I haven't done one in about three years. How sad... : ( I do watch that Crosswords show on TV sometimes, though. XD;;

Airline magazines provided the only crossword puzzles I ever did, and since it's been 3 years since I flew anywhere... I'd say about 3 years.

I helped my wife do one about a month ago. She loves crosswords, and I think this might be one of those few games that would appeal to her.

um, it's been a few years. Which is weird because I seriously love words.

The last time I played a crossword puzzle would be when I downloaded a demo from the wii's DS download station.

last time i did any crossword? about four or so weeks ago, when i last played crosswords DS. need something new :D

My wife does crosswords all the time and loves them, so I'm sure she would love this game. If you count Picross as a crossword, I did one about 20 minutes ago!

Crosswords? Is that like sudoku with letters?

Hopefully I'll get a newspaper tomorrow morning at this hotel, I'll be sure to do the crossword then.

Completed one? a half dozen years ago when the crosswords were easy and could be found in activity books... started one? ya, can't even remember. I just hope to win this for my crossword-fiend Dad.
