The Conduit reminds me of Geist for the GC, which isn't a bad thing. Wii Music however can eat a bowl of dick.

Big accomplishment there. All they had to do was show 1 game that didn't completely suck and it's automatically better than their E3.

This was a much better showing. I'm interested in trying the Conduit, but Wii Music- not so much.

"Cammy says it "really works your core!" Actually, we think The Conduit is what Nintendo needs to work its core ... wait, what is she talking about?"

by core she means muscles. I'm surprised you Joystiq guys don't know about muscles. here I was thinking this site was for athlete gamers!

Trust me. The name is mostly correct, they left of the last part of it. It was honestly a coincidence that the name and DS were so close this time.

Means i've got a lot of playing forthcoming, disacknowledging all the other good titles out there.

"transferring between internal NVRAM and SD card will be dramatically faster."

YAY. I can't tell you enough how horribly SLOW backing up channels onto an SD card is! Took several minutes to copy Megaman 9, and that's just 8.15MB! Looks like whatever software upgrade they're planning for the SD slot may also make it feasable for game playback from the SD slot, too.

Also, yay for new Fire Emblem. Never got into the series. But with this being a remake of the first game, I think this would be a good point to start with.

And now there's gonna be a US Club Nintendo?! HOT DAMN.

Maybe all those GCN, GBA, DS, and Wii games I've registered will finally be of use!

Man would that be nice! I think the last thing I got from that was either the Metroid Prime 2 demo disc or or the pink Kirby stylus.

I've gotten a few nice freebies (the Zelda disc, the Prime 2 disc, stylii for Kirby, Brain Age 2, and Zelda)... but it's all a mere trifling to what Club Nintendo of Japan offerred.

Super Famicom controllers for Wii! Wii Remote-like TV remotes! Exclusive games for the DS! Soundtracks galore! And so on, and so on, and so on...

Still, even if we ARE getting a Club Nintendo, doesn't mean it'll be the same or even similar to the Japanese Club Nintendo. Nintendo of Europe has their own version of Club Nintendo... and for the most part, it blows from what I've heard.

Not really sure what you're getting at, Suichimo.

I mean, the one thing I can figure out not specified by Smash is that Marth has a wife. And I'm cool with that. I'm glad that the kingdom of Altea supports lesbian marriages!

Marth isn't even one of my preferred Smash characters, anyways...

Basically that Marth is no where near the powerhouse that he is in Melee and Brawl. Also, he doesn't have a wife... yet.

Club Nintendo?!?

Dammit, why couldn't they have done this four / five years ago when I was still buying Nintendo games by the truckload. I've only purchased three Wii games and two NDS games this year!

I really hope we end up getting that Super Famicom / PAL SNES Classic Controller though, and not some ugly purply North American one.

That would definitely be nice, because I've spent a fair amount of money on Nintendo stuff in the past but not much in the past year or so. Of course this might motivate me to buy more games, which is probably their aim is. Hopefully they've also set it up so that the Wii Speak channel can work in game, because that will instantly make brawl online 100x better (from its current complete suckitude) and Mario Kart Wii will be the perfect online Wii game. This conference compared to E3 was so good, I'm surprised. Almost everything interests me quite heavily, especially seeing the Conduit become first party.

That would be nice, but I registered all my GCN games, GBA games, GCN and GBAs themselves, and my NDS on some ancient decrepit account tied to a long lost email address. Do they allow you to re-register My Nintendo codes?

What, no confirmation if the Haruhi Suzumiya dancing school girl game is coming to North America?

Seriously, though, Nintendo's Japanese conference showed more games. And even most of those that are likely to come to North America weren't mentioned by Reggie.
