Seems like a nice guy.
I gotta say though, his last name is Powers and he chose to call himself Cyrus instead, why?!

Oh man. This Joystiq post is so ironic.

No, wait. That's not it at all.

It's good to see at least the guy understands that this isn't some glam job, and that it's going to take alot of hard work. Hey if this helps him make it, then good for him.

Good Luck to Will Powers. I hope he is very successful. Maybe he can use that degree for localization because I can't think of a lot else he could use it to do. That is why I am about to get my Accounting degree. Everybody needs someone to do their taxes.

Yea, you spoiled it for me and my GF also... I'm not obsessed with the show, but I like to watch it when I got nothing else on or if im sitting idly on my PS3. Which means I am not entirely up to date. It's not a big deal, but not knowing would have helped me watch it more.

And a simple: Interview with the Winner of the Tester and no picture would have been just fine... thanks for the interview though, was well done.

Hmm, his real name isn't even Cyrus? I don't know whether to feel flattered or ashamed.

Thanks for the spoiler alert, I was just downloading the first few episodes to start this series the other day, since I just got a ps3. Now there's not a lot of point to it.

the series is actually really entertaining, especially if you watch all the episodes in succession. It's definitely still worth downloading.

Still, I'm glad I finally got around to watching it last night. But, either way, you didn't have to put his name in the title. "Interview with the winner of Playstation's The Tester"

I will agree that the show is a lot more interesting when you watch the episodes together. Watching it week after week kind of got me bored.

Yeah Joystiq. What was with the spoiler in the title? I had all the episodes saved for a rainy day and now I know who won, so it's kind of pointless to watch.

Game testers

The rise in the amount of game testers that are needed is directly tied to the recent growth in the gaming industry. Not only are new systems and games being developed in the United States, but the gaming market is flourishing in countries all around the world as well.

Games testers
Game testing is a legitimate position which many people hold each and every

day. Large and small video game production and development companies hire

individuals to test games in an effort to work out the bugs and kinks or to test

prototypes before the final product is released.

Video game testers find problems. To do that, they must take different approaches and test games in various ways. If there's a problem with any aspect of the video game it's the game tester's responsibility to find it.
