Rumor: Mike Haggar in Marvel vs. Capcom 3

When he's not busy being the mayor of Metro City, Mike Haggar is appearing on Capcom employees' computer monitors during Halloween parties. Spotted above, Haggar is seen in what appears to be the Servbot stage of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 behind a costumed Capcom employee. Shoryuken also speculates his elbow is what appears to be cut off in the right side of the image.

While Haggar appeared way back when in Saturday Night Slam Masters, the former wrestler turned city mayor has yet to make an appearance in a fighting game proper. Could Marvel vs. Capcom 3 be it? It's certainly possible -- Capcom has since removed the photo from its Halloween party gallery.

Had a feeling that Haggar would probably be in, since Cody and Guy are in SSFIV. Figured that Capcom had to have a representative from Final Fight in the game, and a "grappler" character at that.

But there still is one thing that is unknown. Will they just have Haggar, or will they have a Final Fight hero and an enemy (ala Rolento, Hugo, Sodom, etc.)? I am hoping Rolento or Hugo make it, but I doubt it.

As if this games roster wasn't already perfect! Hope to see him on the next character announcement.

Haggar has the best moustache in the business! I'm overwhelmed thinking about the action that moustache has seen...

100% sure Capcom put that image up and set up the whole Mike Haggar background monitor, just so MVC3 can regain hype.

It's election season! The Mayor of Metro City has to make an appearance to show that he's still tough on criminals... and schoolgirls... and Jamaican breakdancers.... and green, electric monkey-men.

Cool, but I have to question Mr. Haggar's governing methods. Periodically, his city is overrun with maniacal gangs, or he has to globe trot to save another lady in distress.

I mean, does he even have a budget plan? You can't pile drive your issues!

Haggar has that old man strength. He was just running around the city in Final Fight piledriving and suplexing punks that were trying to wreck isht. I can see dude just running around the city whipping bad guys with his belt.

They need more Marvel females.
