How dry is it? Is it worth me putting my Towers of Midnight (Wheel of Time book 13) audiobook on hold for an hour?

@Jenks

If you're into video games at all (which I assume you are), you should give it a listen.

@Jenks I read it. It wasn't bad for 50ish pages of legal argument.

"You've skimmed the transcript."

Nope, read it front to back, as everyone should be doing. I might give this a go when I get home, though. Wouldn't mind getting a refresher, and an aural one at that.

Your disregard for how laws work or caring about them at all astounds me.

@CheifGokuC
The nerve racking thing is that the Supreme Court actually lent an ear to this case...

They don't take on a case unless they feel it could go either way. That's the scary thing.

People should listen to this, if for no other reason than to get a real sense for how rapid fire the questions come from the justices and just how much they interrupt both the attorneys and one another. Nerve-racking stuff.

Plus it's only an hour.

2011, and we still can't have televised hearings in our OWN highest court in the land. So ridiculous!

POINTLESS! WASTE OF TIME!

I listened to it, and how dare they the AUDACITY to stand in front of courts with little knowledge and/no strong arguments.

One thing I hate about protesting, which I've done before several times, is being with people who have stupid signs. I took a look at those photos, and unless someone is hiding in the crowd somewhere, they all pretty much have stupid and pointless signs.

Why does no one ever defend Postal? I'd say Postal is a defensible game. Remember, the key point is, the game never ASKS you to do any of those horrible things. It neither encourages nor does it reward you for maiming, burning, pissing, whatever you do: it merely ALLOWS you to. It's a wonderful look at human psyche that when given an expedient and evil path (with NO consequences) a person will pick it 90% of the time. I'd say an argument for artistic value IS there, even if tenuous...
