No idea how it'll work in practice (and I'm too lazy to watch the video) but it's a great idea in concept. Hell, any game which can specifically point out your weaknesses, where it's not obvious, and where you should improve is a good thing

Clearly you didn't watch more than the first 7 seconds of the video. Plenty of movement in this clip.

It's not just still frames, but it does look kinda laggy, like someone took a Gears of War chainsaw gun to the FPS.

They should use Trailer Trainer.

HI guys, just to say that this piece is based on our old, old, VERY old demo, produced well over a year ago. It's nothing like the sleek and sexy new browser-based service we announced at the end of last week. I've contacted the editors and offered them some exclusive materials for the new FPS Trainer (and the correct logo) so fingers crossed you should get the whole story here as soon as... Thanks, Brian.

Is the game going to give away keen FPS insights like "don't get shot" and "shoot other people in the head"?

@FriedConsole

I figured that headshots are best, but I don't get this "don't get shot" business. Then why do I usually carry around a shield or have health? What else am I supposed to do with it?

I don't trust any coach with a name like ASTZ.

Got to love 2010! Now it is important that one practices hard before being able to have fun. At least we're getting paid to play those games, right?

People will bitch... if it's not balance issues, it's lag and if it's not lag it's someone's face...

About this training thing: if it's fun, go for it. We need fun games. even if it's training.
