I like the fact that they added this Easter egg, but I have to admit that it's pretty lame. I'd prefer, say, zombies? Or a special cosmetic unlock for your character?

Eh, song is cool, I guess.

@ZigmaTheEliminator I thought it was kind of neat that it's playing over that loudspeaker. Other than that meh.

Graphics really are a downgrade from the IW games I noticed as well.

@Jack Kevorkian Don't measure the visuals on Nuketown, it's a very stylized map to reflect the atomic bomb test cities they build back in the day, so you get a very plastic look and feel, bright color schemes and even sparkles in and around the houses old commercials used to have. Other maps are looking just as great as the ones in MW2 if not better.

Play more than Nuketwon. This game is an upgrade on MW2 in just about ever department. Thank goodness.

The graphics are on par with MW2 I would say. Regardless, Black Ops is a far, far better multiplayer experience compared to MW2.

The non-stackable Killstreaks have really balanced out the matches, and the stat tracking... good lord so many stats.

BTW, had this awesome RC Kill last night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvaO2qG53io

@Brian Griffin The graphics are definitely worse than MW2, by far to me. Guns look worse, characters look worse, texture mapping in some areas is terrible. As far as the more "stylized" look, with more colors, I call BS... Reach looks better, and Halo has always been more colorful.

Overall, I really disliked Black Ops; the only things I found fun were the wager matches. To me, if they spent more time creating new experiences, like that, instead of copying/implementing the standard CoD things, the game would have been better.

I bet it happens on accident at some point, and some of the players are very confused by it.

That would have been pretty funny. When you find easter eggs on accident, it's usually a lot more amusing.

My easter egg would have been one team being unable to move, and the other unable to fire, switching back and forth every 30 seconds.

Anyone else think it would have been more exciting if no one told them about this Easter Egg and when people accidentally found it out, they would relive a 'nam flashback via the song? :)

Could have been worse-- could have triggered a mode where you play Modern Warfare 2 within the game. Yikes ;)

A better easter egg would be each side has mannequins, whichever kills all first plays Kei$ha on other teams base.

A song? Lame. And from what people have said on that video, it's used elsewhere in the game.

I expected them to attack. I wouldn't have even publicized an easter egg like that. Because everyone is going to find it lame, when you made it sound like something special. (Talking about the company, that is.)

I guess it's a shame if when you pay for the rights to use a song, nobody even knows its in the game.

It's already in the game.

Not only is it a lame easter egg, but the song is already played in the game elsewhere, it's a recycled easter egg.

I love Sympathy for the Devil (as do all clear-thinking people) but what a wasted opportunity.

When is fewer posts a good thing? More posts = more readers = more ad space sold = Joystiq being alive for a long time. While I admit I was a bit disappointed in the video, obviously some people liked it, making it worthwhile.

@trefactor I believe you mean Rick Astley. Anyway, Rick-Rolling Stones is where they get the Rolling Stones to do a remake of Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" specifically for this Easter Egg, culminating in the most monumental Rick-Roll ever: Rick-Rolling Stones.
