21
The new "Deluge" DLC for Crackdown 2 adds a co-op arcade mode where players must protect designated city zones from Pacific City's worst. It'll set Agents back 560 points ($7) and also adds several Achievements, Avatar awards and a "Capture the Orb" mode for up to 16 players, spanning six arenas.

is this worth the money?

@RastaPanda I downloaded it last night and got the premium. It's a fun mode, definitely can get very hectic and difficult in the latter waves. Haven't tried the 4-player mode, but I see the potential. That said, as fun as the mode is, it is not worth $7, and should have been at most $5. If you really love Crackdown 2, at least give the trial version a try, it gives you a good feel for how it works.

@Ryguy226 It's cool, the only reason I'd buy this now is to get the avatar award =3

Well movie tickets at matinee are $5. Normal prices 7-10 varying on the theater. Upcharge $2 for a 3D flick. That's 90min to 3 hrs of entertainment. Most combo meals at burger king or arbys cost over $6 after tax.
I mean, really... If this addon can't find the value of $7 I think your expectations of entertainment are skewed. Also, if you see a significant difference between $5 and $7 you need a new job.

I'll probably end up getting this. I haven't played 360 in awhile since I got Black Ops on PC. This gives me a reason to go back and play it.

In case you don't realize why you're so downvoted... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Call_of_Duty
Anyways, FPS are almost infinitely better on PC provided you have a rig meant for gaming. Its just generally MUCH cheaper to own an HDTV and video game system than building a significant gaming rig.

No mention of the tiered DLC options (yes, I realize it was linked to a different article, but should be restated)?
Just like the Toy Box DLC, there are two options:
~ Free DLC includes game updates, Capture the Orb MP mode, and a single player version of the Deluge mode, and 10 new Achievements
~ Premium DLC ($7) includes everything plus the MP version of Deluge.
Game Updates Include:
"We've added a UV blast to the Rocket Boots, increased the number of bullets that can be active at any one time in the world which proved essential for Deluge. Couple of fixes off the top of my head are, pulling players from vehicles has been improved and the Agency Tank explosives have been updated. And as always there's a few networking fixes that we've put in as a result of feedback from the game being played on Live."

I still can't believe the game is $59.99 and higher in stores. No thanks. Already played the much higher quality first game.

@Milf Biggenson Really? I thought it went down in price significantly since release. Last time I even saw it, it was like $40, which is more reasonable for the game than the original $60. By now it should be showing up at $30, I'm seeing other games released around the same time with that price tag.

ya, pretty sure new MSRP is $39.99, as every store in my area has it listed at that price now. Top it off with BB's gaming mag sent out a coupon for $20 off, scored this for $20. Well worth the price.

That's good to know guys. I was just looking at it on the weekend, and it caught my eye in no less than 3 places for as high as $64.99 and as low as $59.99. I'm in Canada though and maybe it's taking a little longer for the price drop to show up here. Still not sure I'd buy it though, as I thought the demo was greatly dumbed down from the the first game and I wasn't even sure that was possible. Removing the boss battles is like taking the ghosts out of Pac-Man.

Yeah, crazy shit I know. People playing games, having fun, and being entertained as opposed to sitting on gaming blogs cracking at a game they have no interest in. Crazy.
