This saddens me, rock band is at its pinnacle in terms of music. This mean we just hit the top of the mountain and we can only climb down now unless they get led zep.

@bxgt Perhaps I just have a good memory, but when I feel like playing a music game I am pretty good at remembering what songs are on what game and picking them accordingly when I boot it up. Having everything in a central platform is nice, but a lot gets glossed over when it seems that even with all of those options my 'bandmates' and I still end up playing the same few favorites with new tracks interdispersed. How spoiled are we that we think that it should all be in one place? Remember back before we could burn CDs and we had to listen to the songs that were on each cd (or cassette tape...damn I just showed my age! Of course we could make mixtapes, but that is beside the point.) Now we have Rock Band, the freaking iPod of music games that lets us have everything in one place and we are too spoiled to go back. WTF?

Zepplin would be great. Lennon doesn't do anything for me. Maybe since the Beatles finally made it to iTunes, maybe they will be able to transfer to Rock Band.

@bigjf yeah but I don't want to switch discs. I want the songs in RB3. Just like Lego RB and AC/DC.

@TheEman28 Ain't gonna happen. Besides, Beatles is only $15...and it's a more satisfying gaming experience (career mode) than Rock Band.

@mywhitenoise I have and like the Beatles: Rock Band. Having finished the career I find the game to be boring now but I only hope the songs would make it into RB3 cause it's a one stop shop for all the songs downloaded and I don't have to keep switching discs. Is it gonna happen? Probably not, but one can only hope. LOL

@TheEman28 Well if it did happen, it would have NOTHING to do with them finally showing up on iTunes. That was because of the whole Apple vs. Apple lawsuit that's been going on since the 70's.

I agree with you but it is a step forward though. The lawsuit back in the day was more about the name and logo and Apple Corps fear that Apple would get into their music business. Sure the Beatles agreed to make a Beatles version of Rock Band but who knows what crap both sides had to deal with each. The Beatles worst enemy is their need to keep a tight grip on their music catalog, image, etc. Paul and Yoko are all about the money and they won't give up the goods unless they get a good chunk of the pie. They see the opportunity to cash in on digital media, except they are a little late to the table but at least they are at the table. All they have to do is work out a licensing agreement and they can transfer the songs from RB: Beatles to RB3, but who is willing to pay for it?

@Chief Oddball I think Lennon should have gotten the gratest hits treatment like Marley myself. I'm not a huge fan of his solo stuff but there are some great songs there I wouldn't mind buying individually. This album ain't got em for me.

i know i'm going to get downvoted but some albums just don't belong in rock band, like this one. its not like a paramore, foo fighters or even a creedence album where its fun to bang on plastic instruments and have fun. This is John Lennons' Imagine album, this should almost hold some unoffical sacred rights to where you need to listen to the words, the music, the sound. It just sounds wrong to play a 5 button guitar and a 4 pad plastic drumset to an album of such caliber. hope i explained myself clear enough

@PR0F3TA I disagree with you on both counts.

1. Any music that you enjoy you can enjoy playing on a fake instrument. (Oh Yoko itself will be a fun tune for everyone: that beat, the piano tickles, the "oh yoko"s...)

2. It's just rock and roll music, not something to be encased in some sort of protective covering and worshipped. It's great rock and roll, but still...come on man.

@PR0F3TA God I hate Paramore. They're for Avril Lavigne fans who have matured 2 years.

So let's get this straight, you think Daft Punk is overrated, you think Kanye West is a genius, and you like Paramore? Bleh, what crap!

Seriously WTF?!? why are you focusing on things that arent even relevant to the point i was making... i was using paramore as an example, because i happened to have RB3's playlist on my TV screen. You forgot to mention i also said Creedence but no, lets skip that and the whole point i was trying to make and focus on one word i mentioned once. I also see your still butt hurt over me saying Daft Punk is over rated, get over it.

@PR0F3TA no, I'm not butt hurt about the Daft Punk comment. Im a big fan, I've seen them live, I own all their albums...I agree that they are overrated, though.

What I'm butt hurt about, is that Kanye West and Paramore are so popular.

This one's more for the keyboardists and the singers than for any of the other instruments. Gotta show them some love too.

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but does the "Imagine" album not include the song "Imagine"? It should be at the top of the track list..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imagine_(album)

I don't see it explicitly mentioned here. Maybe it's included as an album-only track, and isn't available separately?

Cool. I got the pro guitar yesterday and started tutorials and easy mode songs. (and loved it to death. like a whole new game. incredibly awesome!)

Then I went to buy some recent tracks... And I couldn't bring myself to buy anything that didn't have pro guitar expansion.
Just as, I'm sure, I won't ever go back and play the simple guitar any more. ... kinda weird.

I hope they start releasing pro guitar expansions for old releases ASAP. !!! (I Needz Mah Crack!)

@WarrenEBB Actually, to be fair, I did buy the whole beegees set, despite only being interested in the SINGLE track that has pro guitar - because my girlfriend loves the beegees, and has assured me she's afraid to ever even pick up the pro guitar.

(though, when I reminded her that pro guitar doubles as a pro bass, she hesitated. She has a minor dream of learning bass guitar).

anywho. Just find this whole twist on the rock band "fantasy" appeal kinda of interesting. Somehow newer better stuff is encouraging me to purchase less of the add-on content. whoops?
