A lot more people would be on board with Yakuza if they actually attempted to let the story speak for itself rather than do things like this. Before I played Yakuza 3, I was under the impression that the series was some sort of Asian GTA clone that's loaded with mini-games. I was so wrong it hurt. There's more to it than generic badditude. Kazuma Kiryu is only a "badass" because he's a walking tank of ethical justice that'll hit you with a tire iron if you don't help the elderly across the street. It's not about being a criminal.
These are (occasionally silly) games that are for the MGS or Phoenix Wright-loving crowd more than... well, whoever they're trying to target with stuff like this.

God forbid someone who's not from Japan MIGHT NOT NOW HOW TO PRONOUNCE JAPANESE. Surely the Japanese have never mangled the pronunciation of an English word?

@(Unverified) well... don't know who is actually narrating, but if your a "professional" and it's part of your career narrating for multi-national companies, then you should demonstrate some knowledge of language and the fact that you are a Japanese character. Besides, Westerners, especially Americans, need to step up their game. Sure japanese butcher alot of words, but WAY more asians know our language than we know theirs. We wanna be #1? We need to not be lazy....especially with a product. Also, many professional actors (i'm talkin broadway/plays) have to learn language nuance in order to be even considered serious.

Great trailer, sega is such a wierd company. I love the irony also, of how the stuff that was cut from 3 now makes it into a promo trailer for the 4th game. I guess they learned their lesson!
